    One of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. A masterpiece which I am glad is finally on PC. I loved the PS4 version and was overjoyed when I heard it was coming to PC. A perfect port to PC with no bugs or glitches as far as I saw. A must-play in my opinion.

    9.5/10 game it is almost perfect. It has fun gameplay with many different moves and combat styles and very depth lore with a cinematographic story but what really takes the cake is Kratos evolution as a person, now he isn't just a killing machine, he tries to redeem himself through his son Atreus and every time they talk it is just beautiful. I loved all the dialogues throughout the game9.5/10 game it is almost perfect. It has fun gameplay with many different moves and combat styles and very depth lore with a cinematographic story but what really takes the cake is Kratos evolution as a person, now he isn't just a killing machine, he tries to redeem himself through his son Atreus and every time they talk it is just beautiful. I loved all the dialogues throughout the game and they talk pretty much all the time.

    The only issue I had with this game is the beggning, I think at the start the game is too difficult, even for me, a Souls series fan. You don't have many moves and you have to fight enemies that you don't have yet the tools to deal with them, like enemies that shoot projectiles but you don't have the skill to redirect their projectiles or you have to kill Nightmares but they need the Chaos Blade for easy killing or the Witches needs more arrows that Atreus have. But once you arrive at mid-game these problems simply go away and in the late game, the game becomes easy. BTW, I've played all the game on the 2nd hardest difficulty.

    Another thing that I really think they need to improve is the number of enemies, especially more epics bossies. This game has few bosses throughout the story, I think it is the GOW with the less quantity of epic bossies (Gods, Dragons, mythologic creatures). In the late game we can fight the nine Valkyries, but don't let this number fool you, their moveset is practically identical, they are just a cheap reskin. But the fight against them is really cool, it is a really good late-game challenge. It is a shame there aren't so many more bosses because the combat system is awesome    … Expand

    Игра затягивает, долго в ней не просидишь из-за репетативности действий, но играть интересно. Изучение мира раздражает, из-за постоянных путей, которые заблокированы до самого конца игры. Награды за дополнительные задания бесполезны, ведь лучшее снаряжение всегда можно купить у гнома. Вот и не понятно, что хотели авторы, угодить "хардкорщикам" своими необязательными испытаниями безИгра затягивает, долго в ней не просидишь из-за репетативности действий, но играть интересно.     игра сильно не затянула меня сюжет такой себе геймлпей прикольный графика нормальная может потом допройду потому что уже сил не было проходить ее удалил после половины прохождения

    Одна из лучших игр вышедших на консолях прошлого поколения. Геймплей, на удивление для серии, является не краеугольным камнем — за развитием сюжета и характерами персонажей наблюдать не менее увлекательно

    God of war is truly incredible game, it has everything. Interesting plot, characters, nice gameplay and fight system, amazing setting and design.

    I only found 2 problems for myself in this game: a fully linear world and a lot of collectables. If second thing is pretty easy to skip, first one is fundamental problem for me since i'm enjoying freedom (e.g. dishonored, prey and arkane games    God of war is truly incredible game, it has everything. Interesting plot, characters, nice gameplay and fight system, amazing setting and design.

    I only found 2 problems for myself in this game: a fully linear world and a lot of collectables. If second thing is pretty easy to skip, first one is fundamental problem for me since i'm enjoying freedom (e.g. dishonored, prey and arkane games overall) and sometimes it's annoying when you can't just jump from small high ground.

    Ever since its exclusive release in 2018, God of War set a new standard to how single-player focused role-playing games should be. That goes for all categories; Story, gameplay, world design and visual effects. I have played similar triple-A games (rhymes with "A passion's Greed") that fall into the same category, but don't even come close to this. Easy 10/10.

    Beautiful game, and I love the fact that they have "original" graphics settings to match the consoles graphics, that being said it very much has the issue that most Sony games have where the world missions and side content feels the same and thrown in just to make the game a little longer. It very much felt like a god of war game was with horizon zero dawns formula

    God of War ist ein herausragendes Game.

    Eine sehr coole Vater - Sohn - Götter Story. Die Grafik sieht wirklich fantastisch aus, läuft komplett flüssig und hat keine großartigen Bugs. Ich bin begeistert wie flüssig man zum Beispiel Ketten runterrutscht oder hinaufklettert, das sieht so gut aus, total echt und hat dazu noch einen tollen Klang. Es gibt nicht sehr viele Waffen und    God of War ist ein herausragendes Game.

    Die Rätsel sind nicht zu schwer, aber auch nicht direkt sehr leicht, insgesamt ist einfach alles sehr gut gebalanced!

    It's a good game, PC optimization is not bad either. But once you finish it, there's no point in playing it again, and it's not a game that can be compared to RDR 2.

    RDR 2 should have gotten the Goty award in 2018.

    This game is EPIC, there are 3 boss fights in the first 2 hours of the game and they are all really cool, the combat feels rewarding and when you hit an enemy you it has really great feedback and it feels really good. The story is also really good and i love that kratos actually over time tries to be nicer to his son like in those scenes where he ALMOAST tries to cheer his son up. I likeThis game is EPIC, there are 3 boss fights in the first 2 hours of the game and they are all really cool, the combat feels rewarding and when you hit an enemy you it has really great feedback and it feels really good.     God Of War have nice graaphics, FSR that´s improves FPS on PC, nice gameplay, and good RPG elements, but repetitive bosses and enemys, few carachters and a history too basic.

    Honestly for 2022 this game isn't that great. There is a lot of reused content and reused boss fights, side stories are also not that interesting. Main story, cinematic fights and kratos carries this game really hard tho while gameplay is just good.

    This is the OG, this has all the good of the restarted GOW. The sequel Ragnarok throws all the good out of the window, I can't believe they made the game even clunkier than some crap like AC Valhalla.

    God of War is more or less a game for everyone who is not afraid of action gameplay and appreciates good narrative and production quality. It's also great to watch, so it can be recommended to extended family members over the series. [Issue#317]

    After more than 55 hours spent playing, I’m still awed by just how great God of War is. This is the result of a clear, determined vision, its separate elements harmonizing almost perfectly to deliver an experience that understands the series’ blood-soaked origins but is also not afraid to push it into a more mature and nuanced direction. Kratos and Atreus’ relationship develops naturally as does their understanding of the foreign land they’re journeying through. The story takes its time, never rushing its satisfying reveals, and making way for a set of surprisingly personal boss fights, while the continuous camera shot used throughout the game is a masterstroke in terms of presentation. All this is built around a snappy and responsive combat system that has more depth than you’re initially led to believe. There are more jaw-dropping surprises I didn’t touch upon simply because it’s best that you experience them for yourself. Looking back, aside from the port’s few performance flaws, my only real complaint has to do with Sony taking this long to bring the game to PC.

    God of War merges all its gameplay elements into one excellent package, dressed in unparalleled direction and amazing storytelling. The scale of the narrative, the divine but always human Kratos, the "boy" who sees everything with childlike enthusiasm, all this offers the player a thrilling story that has at its heart the most human and natural relationship between a parent and his child. Regardless of preference, God of War is a must-see title. Benchmark for each and all its elements and still fresh in 2022.
