    This game has truly given me a deeper perspective of life. It has it all, a magnificent story that speaks straight to your heart, stunning voice acting (baaaa), and a wide room for exploration.

    It's a neat idea, not fixing bugs and making a joke game like this. My problem is it's 10 **** dollars. 10 dollars? Really. for a joke game? That's like paying $10 for a one-time hand buzzer, and shaking your own hand. If it were free, sure that makes sense, why not make a joke game and have tons of people buy it for free?     After playing this game for 2 hours straight, I realized there does not seem to be much in it. This game had an astronomical hype behind it, yet it failed to deliver what most people were expecting.     Altough Goat Simulator is a small game with no real objective it's map is packed with cool things to do with some hidden secrets here and there. It is definitely worth the 10 dollar price tag . Soon enough many people can make new stuff using the steam workshop which adds to the amount of content e.g new maps, challenges etc...

It's the gaming equivalent of a novelty single and even the developers, to give credit where it's due, recommend you don't buy it. Listen to them.

    I was in a deep depression. My life seemed to be going nowhere. Then, I'm perusing the internet and I see goat simulator. I begin to weep, partially out of happiness, and partially because I'll have to wait a few days. I instantly pre-order. Goat Simulator saved me. GOTY 10/10

    I have to admit, a very good level design with highly detailed textures. And the idea. That's pretty much the only good things about it. First thing you do is change the resolution, game freeze, you have to change it manually in the .ini files. The only thing about this game is Unreal engine with a custom model for the player.     The area is small, but there was actually a decent amount of "quests" for a joke game like this. The quests give you more stupid stuff that get the physics even more crazier.

    This game is at best a 10-minute laugh. You writhe in the ridiculousness and have a good laugh with your friends, but after just the slightest time you start to understand that the developers were correct when they said it's not worth buying unless it's on sale.

    A great game just to goof around with. Can entertain me for a few hours, good game to just play if you had one too many beers. I look forward to updates from Coffee Stain to make Goat Simulator more entertaining.

You can become the queen of goats, make demonic sacrifices, and even fly through the air in bizarre and uncontrollable patterns.     The games is intended to be silly. If any other people are rating it less than a 5, then they are taking it too seriously. The game is humorous, and contains a lot of discovery, but it's a just a tiny bit inconsistent in some places; that doesn't matter. It's a still a fun game. The achievements are easy to get and it's fun to play for what it's worth.

Because from where I'm standing it seems awfully hard to see. This is a revolution in gaming because it CLEARLY isn't taking itself seriously. As opposed to the CODS and the GTAS and the seriously business games that are always released, it is games like this that allows you to appreciate not caring. When I first played this game, I laughed. When I continued playing, yeah the laughing became more like a chuckle. I didn't know what to expect. I didn't see any game reviewers or youtubers play the game, I played it blind, and from that I got the full experience. I would look for the easter eggs and the references to my favorite movies and games. I'd explore the world and try to break it. Because it was different. It wasn't a cookie-cutter game.

    Now for the review:

    Pros:
    -Very beautiful art style.
    -Graphics are pretty nice for a quickie
    -Very destructive world, good for stress relief
    -Interesting physics, which is a part of why the hilarity works
    -Other goat classes to choose from, all with different powers, abilities, and quirks
    -A publisher that actually cares about the game they create. (Sidenote they released new content for free as "dlc" as a joke.) And they actually talk to their fans.

    Neutral:
    -The game is buggy, which is a part of why it is amusing. The bugs aren't gamebreaking, but amusing.
    -Gravity is ridiculous in this game, which makes for amusing and immediate lols

    Cons:
    -It's not really worth the money
    -It gets old fast

    So overall, complaining about the obvious flaws that were purposefully left in there (bugs, etc) is like pointing out the unrealism of Star Wars. Who cares? It's a movie/form of entertainment. You are proving that the gaming community is so desensitized that it can't even take a freaking joke. You're just mad you didn't think of it first.    … Expand

    Ridiculous but enjoyable if you like destruction and exploration. Goat Simulator is about running around causing havoc. Although it was originally intended as a joke, the game has some substance, enough to earn it a price tag.

    The game was never meant to be serious. This is absolutely brilliant to blow off some mindless steam, people who have bought it and hated it obviously did not know the background of the game and are not worthy of reviewing it. Fantastic, Love it!!!

    Goat Simulator is an unusual game. In this game you can run aimlessly, destroy cars, licking everything, use ragdoll and turn on slow motion.     I found this on sale for $3.99 and figured that I might as well buy it since it's just four dollars.

    Worst four dollar purchase I've ever made. It was hilarious for 5 minutes then boring as hell. Hook your goat's tongue onto a car that is spinning around in circles and laugh for a few minutes, then realize that there's nothing else in the game to do. I'm pretty embarrassed that I even got it.

    Goat Simulator has some incredibly funny moments. Unfortunately, if you've watched a few of the videos for it on YouTube, you've seen them all. Otherwise, the game is pretty, but it gets boring in well under 2 hours.

    As many others have said, this kind of game is somehow brainwashing the community and destroying the industry, and yet this kind of trash continues to be littered all over our beloved PC platform and community. There needs to be a big push for indie developers to put actual meaning and heart back into their games. If that means that each indie game has to be a long, meaningful and completely original, similar to something like FEZ, so be it.

    Ultimately, Goat Simulator is nothing more than 2 minutes of mild fun for each of the small amount of things you can do in the game, and from there it just becomes a dull achievement-hunter.

    For only $9.99 you can experience this life changing masterpiece. More goats for your dollar than any other game I know of. These days there is a dire lack of goats as a protagonist/antagonist in video games. It's awesome that Coffeestain Studios decided to fill in this niche and represent goats for the first time in the industry.

If you can accept that sometimes things are funny just because they're stupid, and you think that people deserve to get paid for what they do for a living, then sure, it's worth $10. Way I see it- it's at least as funny as a dumb movie, and at $10 it costs me about as much as a trip to the movies these days does. So if I get at least an hour and a half of entertainment out of it, which you could feasibly do just kicking around the little town and looking for some of the random **** that's been put there, not counting player created mods which are sure to extend this game's life at least some, then it's worth the money. 10/10 awesome mindblowing game? I spent ages trying to figure out how to use the goats I unlocked but I finally found it in custom game. But it is a really good and fun game. 9/10 :)

    If you're looking for a polished game with a deep story, don't buy this. This is an amazingly fun experience not made to be taken seriously, but to be enjoyed. There's many secrets and fun little challenges that keep you playing long enough for people to mod new levels in with workshop. Although it doesn't have all that much content now, there are already mods being made.

    This game is the best Simulation game this year! Goat Simulator open doors for a new kind of Simulation games. Best game by Coffee Stain Studios, more of this games will be awesome :)

    The problem with this game is... nothing. Everyone whining that it's not funny - well you don't get the sense of humor the game presents. Saying it's only worth 10 minutes, well you haven't explored everything. I see plenty of youtubers play for 30+ minutes, and at the end of that they're still having a great laugh. You don't need to be so uptight and butthurt about a video game because itThe problem with this game is... nothing.     First 5-10minutes was very funny, but now after 3hours its not funny. That city is just so small and its not very good, if the city is 2times larger i think i give more points for this game, i am waiting for Patch 1.1 to play splitscreen but i dont think its very good. If you arenĀ“t very rich dont buy this game.

    Just kidding it is pretty much the complete opposite but you know what it is some of the most fun I have had with a video game since saints row 4 and that is saying something.     This is game is desperately trying to be a funny, over the top, viral joke, but it fails miserably as it left like the developers took 30-minutes to construct a very small level, add static npcs, a few random objects here and there. Zero gameplay, zero value, zero enjoyment.

    People are going to cry now and say... 'BUT MODS!!! THEY WILL FIX THIS GAME!!' No, they wont. The game is very limited that it can't and won't be able to handle anything more than what's already there.     Expected a laugh and the game delivered. Cannot wait for the community of modders to fully expand this revolutionary game. Well worth whatever you pay for it.

    It's pathetic that this game has less than an 80 from professional reviewers. It's like they are incapable of taking a joke these days. Regardless, this game is loads of fun to play with friends around and laugh about the silly stuff that happens. The fact that it has steam workshop behind it definitely helps too. Ignore the "professional reviewers." This game is fantastic for the price you pay.
