    It's a neat idea, not fixing bugs and making a joke game like this. My problem is it's 10 **** dollars. 10 dollars? Really. for a joke game? That's like paying $10 for a one-time hand buzzer, and shaking your own hand. If it were free, sure that makes sense, why not make a joke game and have tons of people buy it for free? What's worse is that just about EVERY youtube has made a video of this, and playing it doesn't give you any more satisfaction than watching the video does.

    After playing this game for 2 hours straight, I realized there does not seem to be much in it. This game had an astronomical hype behind it, yet it failed to deliver what most people were expecting. Buggy engine ceases to be funny quickly, tossing stuff around and knocking things over is somewhat dull and the only things that could make you wan't to play the game more are 'hidden' easterAfter playing this game for 2 hours straight, I realized there does not seem to be much in it. It's the gaming equivalent of a novelty single and even the developers, to give credit where it's due, recommend you don't buy it. Listen to them.

    I have to admit, a very good level design with highly detailed textures. And the idea. That's pretty much the only good things about it. First thing you do is change the resolution, game freeze, you have to change it manually in the .ini files. The only thing about this game is Unreal engine with a custom model for the player.     This game is at best a 10-minute laugh. You writhe in the ridiculousness and have a good laugh with your friends, but after just the slightest time you start to understand that the developers were correct when they said it's not worth buying unless it's on sale.

    I found this on sale for $3.99 and figured that I might as well buy it since it's just four dollars.

    Worst four dollar purchase I've ever made. It was hilarious for 5 minutes then boring as hell. Hook your goat's tongue onto a car that is spinning around in circles and laugh for a few minutes, then realize that there's nothing else in the game to do. I'm pretty embarrassed that I even got it.

    Goat Simulator has some incredibly funny moments. Unfortunately, if you've watched a few of the videos for it on YouTube, you've seen them all. Otherwise, the game is pretty, but it gets boring in well under 2 hours.

    this is the first game in my life that i got bored with in the first 2 minutes. this not a game, there is no way you can fail and there is no way you can win, its fking around and trying things until you know all the things you can do and you wonder why the hell you are paying attention to this simulator.

    No surprise here. This game was fun for about 2-3 minutes. Then it gets repetitive and really, really boring. It is definitely not worth any money, as it has absolutely ZERO replay-ability.

Its also funny to see how most people here are willing to give a perfect 9-10 score. I also bet this comment will be down-voted because the "fanboys" trying to protect the game

    As many others have said, this kind of game is somehow brainwashing the community and destroying the industry, and yet this kind of trash continues to be littered all over our beloved PC platform and community. There needs to be a big push for indie developers to put actual meaning and heart back into their games. If that means that each indie game has to be a long, meaningful and completely original, similar to something like FEZ, so be it.

    Ultimately, Goat Simulator is nothing more than 2 minutes of mild fun for each of the small amount of things you can do in the game, and from there it just becomes a dull achievement-hunter.

    This is achievement simulator, not the quirky Goat Simulator we were all expecting. Do not waste your time and precious money and make the mistake that me and so many others did by buying it.    … Expand

Plus lots of the jokes and intentional glitches get old after about 2 seconds. A game with intentional glitches can be great, but maybe if the game toned down the glitches a little bit and had it run properly then it could have been a good game.     I was really excited for this game, which is why I was extremely disappointed by how boring it was. The first 40 minutes of this game are absolutely hilarious and really fun but once you find everything the game loses all its value. The map is really small so you can find everything worth finding within an hour (depending on how much time you spend jumping in front of cars). However it is still an incredibly fun game but it's not worth ten dollars I'm afraid. You can go into this game have a good laugh for an hour or two until you get irritated at the constant frame drops or repetitive nature of the game, butGoat Simulator is a extremely fun yet terribly made game. It was firstly created as a joke of lowered standards for independent developers that led to a vast specter of terrible quality games, that were mostly simulators. Unfortunately, "Goat Simulator" became victim of it's own joke, as developers greed for money made this game part of the problem.     Though on a second thought, I applaud developers from the financial stand point. Not only they satirized the whole platform of modern indie era of **** simulators, but they also proved the satire completely true by becoming a hit and in a process getting tons of money. And all thanks to the standards, that are pretty much non existent. Smart move.
    This game is nothing much than an unpolished, buggy (yes, I know, that's the point...), and worst of all - unoptimized mess of a title. They didn't even try to make this good, intentionally keeping it pathetically bad. No effort. It's like making movie purposely bad, but in the end it becomes just painful, because it feels like an empty simulation - a soulless experience. And Goat Simulator tried something very similar - there's a reason why we laugh at glitches and things that break logic in a game - they are unintentional.     If you're looking for a top-notch goat simulator, keep looking. The hornplay is rough, the traffic accidents unfulfilling, and I have seen better action on Can-Eating Extravaganza, Goat Duel II, and Billy Goats' Revenge.

But in reality the only peeps giving it a high mark are people who want to make useless jokes about goats and think they are joining in on some great humouress thing.     The game is VERY FUN... For about an hour or two. I really don't mind the bugs (they are intended to be there), but the game is limited to it's core design and gets really repetitive and boring.

    It doesn't worth it's 10 dollar price. Buy it when it's like 1 or 2, laugh a lot (in the short amont of time you will enjoy the game) and uninstall it, cause you won't come back for more.

It is fun, don't get me wrong, but the game starts to get very boring after 10 minutes of having nothing to do at all except watch yourself get hit by cars and ram people over and over again.     Personally, this game is a lot more fun to watch than to actually play. The game is also quite deceiving and requires a lot to run. It takes about 2 hours to get bored.

    This game doesn't even last long. You have a little bit of fun with everything then suddenly its just boring when you see that MICHAEL BAY text for like the third time. sure the game has mutators but that just gets boring too. Maybe if the game had more Maps then it would be worth going back to see the new jokes the game has. but for now I cannot even laugh while playing this game.

    Goat Simulator's premise is simple. You play as a goat dropped into an area littered with rag doll humans and objects and there's literally no objective. It becomes up to you to cause mayhem, which racks up a total score and multiplier. The fun to be had here is in how stupid you could things play out. Whether you're riding a rollercoaster with a DeadMau5 helmet or blasting people away with a dragon shout whilst body boarding across the map, the game won't fool anybody that it's a simulator, and nobody's unironically pretending it to be. That ultimately becomes the crutch and only point of the game, to pass off some laughs for a good hour at the silliness of it all, preferably with friends. Once that initial hour wore off for me, laughs diminished into uninterested smirks and eye rolling boredom. There's nothing else to the game save for a few modifiers, although I expect the modding scene to spice it up slightly more, but with the same results. Make no mistake, it's an intentionally bad game, but it becomes up to your volume of tolerance for this sort of amusement. Like Minecraft, it's limited by your imagination, and unfortunately, I don't have much tolerance for this kind of hilarity.

    Goat Simulator is painfully aware at what it set out to be, stupid fun. The music speaks volumes of its comedic tone. The rag doll physics are 'fine' tuned for maximum ridiculousness. Despite what it's got going for it, Goat Simulator's form of entertainment didn't last long at all for me and only served to highlight the problem with games of this caliber: poorly made games are passed off for only giggles rather than addressing that they do indeed suck.    … Expand

    Funny for 10 minutes, then the game becomes repetitive. And I mean VERY repetitive. Everything is coded to repeat over and over and over again. It's just not funny after everything supposedly "funny" has been done once.

    I laughed a bit with the funky physics engine glitches, but in the end, it felt like one of those games where it is severely over-hyped by YT commentators.
    Limited map, crap AI (if you could even call it AI, the NPCs don't even move half of the time), and an overall dull, monotonous, repetitive, unrelieved, unvaried, unimaginative, uneventful piece of crap.

    Stay away from this game.

I give it a 3 for the lols... I think it would be even more lolworthy if they put more effort into perfecting Goat Simulator; made it a well polished turd. But, oh well.     The idea is somehow nice, but the gameplay gets REALLY boring after some time.
    It's one of those PewDiePie games that aren't really good for other uses.
    It's absolutely worse than the other games made by the authors.

    I played this at my friends house because, I don't have a PC. All I have to is this game feels like it was meant for people with autism. It's just a game with a dumb trolling goat. That's it.

    Fun for the first hour or 2, but becomes extremely boring and repetitive. Most of the time you'll just end up falling through the map and will have to start all the tasks over again zzzzzz.

    This game is a blast! You'll laugh you're head off! For about an hour. Once you've seen everything, the game becomes EXCRUCIATINGLY BORING! The map is too small, so everything can be found VERY easily. And, honestly, if a game is deliberately buggy, you know that's a bad sign. When you've seen it once you've seen it all. So just never see it AT all!

    However, this game did save itself a little by adding the Goat MMO update which was a huge parody of MMO games and was admittedly cute and pretty fun. It gave a bunch of useless quests and funny references to fantasy books and movies. This adds a little more to the replayability and length of the game as there's a lot to do on this map, even if it's not that big.

    Overall though, this game is not worth the 10$ price tag that the developers are asking for and should only be bought on sale if you have 5$ or so. It's a pretty neat idea but it was executed poorly in my opinion. Trust me, it's a baaaaad game.    … Expand

    Easily the worst game I've played. Even as a fan of sandbox-adventure-type games, I found this utterly pointless; it bored me to tears. Just playing it made me feel that I was wasting time in the worst way possible. Essentially, in this game you jump, roll, charge, and steal in a poorly-rendered block-size wasteland.

It's rage inducing how popular this has become, for how little quality content there is to offer. The game is somewhat entertaining, and I can see why many love it. You spend the entire game gaining points by causing, "chaos", but there's no real chaos being caused. As soon as you trip someone up, they will just get up and keep walking. This is something which games like Just Cause have discovered from the very first game- if you cause chaos, you get into trouble, and the trouble escalates. The police will come, and if you resist arrest, the chaos will become more chaotic. Tanks and fighter jets will appear. In other words, chaos gets more chaotic- and that's the whole point of chaos, and Goat Simulator doesn't do it right. It's actually a living hell. No one pays attention to you, you're essentially invisible. So, Goat Simulator is a joke game, composed entirely of glitches and one joke. And get this- It costs real money...

    So that's Goat Simulator. It's an awful, unfinished, unplayable pile of **** and I strongly suggest that you never, EVER touch it, not even with an EXTREMELY long cattle prod. Coffee Stain Studios should be ashamed of themselves for making it.    … Expand
