    Cyber Ninja 2077 (Otherwise known as Ghostrunner) is a bullet hell in which you are the last remaining Ghostrunner, a cyborg ninja bodyguard.
    This game is tricky to rate. It has so many good and fun parts but there's also a lot of parts that are appalling and horrible to play through. The music makes you, as I would describe it, "gets you in the mood."
    Then there's the hacking sections,    Cyber Ninja 2077 (Otherwise known as Ghostrunner) is a bullet hell in which you are the last remaining Ghostrunner, a cyborg ninja bodyguard.

    I really want to give it a 7.5. But for every time I get frustrated, there's more dopamine right around the corner.

    Pros: The graphics are great. The story is intriguing. The gameplay is fun and the platforming is top notch. Objectively I believe they nailed everything they went for. Con: It's frustratingly difficult. (subjective opinion that effects my fun with the game.) I played    I really want to give it a 7.5. But for every time I get frustrated, there's more dopamine right around the corner.

    Pros: The graphics are great. The story is intriguing. The gameplay is fun and the platforming is top notch. Objectively I believe they nailed everything they went for.

    Con: It's frustratingly difficult. (subjective opinion that effects my fun with the game.) I played The Surge, Furi, Dark Souls, Sekiro, OG Megaman, Nioh, Ninja Giaden, I understand difficult games with good balance and how difficulty correlates to satisfaction and personal growth. Ghost Runner is the hardest game I've ever played, other than literally broken games or bullet hell games. It's rewarding as hell and the checkpoints and reload times are EXTREMELY fair. .1 seconds to load back in. But the game just demands flawless perfection, in my opinion, to a fault. I would have enjoyed the game immensely more if you could have a 1 shot shield, that could only be restored upon death or killing like 10+ enemies. There's nothing wrong with the game, nothing is broken or set up to be unfair. If you die it is your fault, but I get grinded down to the brink of gamer rage with how willing this game is to kick you in the teeth over and over just for a fleeting rush of dopamine when you succeed.

    The reasons many (me included) will play on regardless, is because the music is really good. If you listen to a lot of synth like me, it's admittedly generic and sounds like any other high quality synth mix. Meaning, it's doubtful you'll be reciting tracks by name if you hear a friend using the OST as study music. It fits the game though, and the gameplay enhances the soundtrack's vibe as they work together to form a very good Cyberpunk atmosphere. The graphics look great and perfectly sync with the soundtrack and gameplay style. In particular I found the gore effects and the neon lights to be rather beautiful, and the level design is extremely unique and traversal feels more like puzzle/problem solving than straight up first person action.

    The gameplay, if you can remain calm through repeated deaths, is pretty damn good. As you progressively battle tougher enemies, you gain access to more abilities to even out the experience, granted that you have the mettle to try over and over again. Sword slashes feel really powerful and satisfying. Slicing an enemy is two has never been as rewarding and empowering than this; enemies die in one hit as well, and the feedback is instant and accurate. Wherever you were aiming determines where the dismemberment takes place. From their ankles to their neck, and various diagonal slashes, it's the kind of stuff you see in Shadow Warrior reboots or Metal Gear Rising, without the grindy battle to get the kill.

    Ghostrunner is a skill gamer's game. It's not for casuals, and it's not for the temperamental. For those willing to tough it out, they'll find a fantastic game with engaging mechanics, and incredible atmosphere. Middle-tier gamers will probably still like it, but struggle more than others. For casual gamers who play every game on easy, skip this one for now, there's no easy mode and it puts most "hard" games to shame. But it's not difficult in a broken or meaningless way, I think the developers knew we could handle it and didn't want to make an easy game. This kind of confidence in our skills, in a way, is empowering.

    where it becomes pretty frustrating for me is the controls can be buggy and so can the game. I played a level where you had to climb a reactor with spinning lazers and shoots fire AOEs, died about 100 times getting the timing down and learning the patters. When I cut the second cable, it froze during the cinematic. After all I had gone through to get up top, for it to freeze was infuriating. Sometimes wall runs don't start, sometimes you try to dash attack an enemy and fly over them to your death. Can't fault the game TOO much because at least it's priced as a B tier game, but a little more polish would have been appreciated.    … Expand

    I love this game, gameplay is good and it's also something I would play. I'm giving 9 because game is hard and story and the story is nothing special , it also something new there are not many games like this of course there is doom eternal , but doom and ghostrunner are not the same games moreover they are very different. However this game is bad ass and very good, but it's not forI love this game, gameplay is good and it's also something I would play.     a good time pass game with really satisfying mechanics but gets boring real fast, also add savepoints in between levels if you don't want players to do the same thing again and again

    The gameplay is high speed and require so much skill,main character is killing everyone in one slice of katane, and dying from one shot/atack/expolision/fall.Thats like hotline miami in cyberpunk stylistics,and in 3D.And also graphics looks amazing and you can play this game even on 200-300 euro PC.

    In my opinion there several minuses in this game:
    First:In my opinion there enemies that need to deleted it is Shield Guys and Explosive Guys.
    Main story is not bad but narrative is not the strong side of this game,trust me if ull play this game,after beating the game you will hardly understand what is the story about.
    And the main minus to me is last level,not the final bossfight it is easy though,last level in cybernet and oh my god how stupid it is.I cannot name this level otherwise than stretching the timing of the game,and also this level is giant piece of ****

    If you liked mirror's edge game, you will love this game. Runs great and looks better than Cyberclunk 2077.

    The game is pretty good for what it tries to do: a first-person platformer. However it is in essence an one-trick pony so it is extremely subjective if you're gonna like it. It immediately throws you into its simple action which will be obviously loved by many but for the rest of us the game can feel like an unnecessary chore.

    This is the first masterpiece game since Furi!
    I am absolutely delighted, the developers have tried very hard.
    Perfect music, gripping storyline, and cool mechanics.
    But I would like more emphasis on parrying, more slasher, more melee fights. It would be 12 out of 10.

    This game has very beautiful design, pleasant and smooth physics and not bad history. I very like this game. And now, it's one of my favorite games!

    Game is very challenging at times but overall is an absolute blast to play...u feel like a complete badges playing it...and the soundtrack is the best I've heard in ANY game to date...nonstop head nodder

    A good game that is held back from being great by the fact that some of the sections in the game are more frustrating than fun.

    Overall I definitely recommend it.

    If you liked mirror's edge game, you will love this game. the game never gets bored and the action never ends. partition designs are outstanding. the game dynamics are just as they should be.

    Отличная, быстрая и очень интересная игра. А боёвка "1 удар - 1 труп", что работает в обе стороны - это кайф. Вариативность боёв просто безумная.

    Personal notes: One of my most favorite games and worth replaying. This game has so much replay value. I would like to personally thank the creators of the game

    Великолепная, жопоразрывающая игра, в которой ты умираешь по 10, 20, 50, а может 100 раз на одном уровне. Несмотря на то, что играем мы за машину-убийцу, один выстрел из пистолетика или удар по нам мгновенно убивает гг. А учитывая то, что нам порой придётся сражаться с 5 и более врагами, пройти битву с первой попытки довольно не лёгкая задача. Но сложность тут возникает не только вВеликолепная, жопоразрывающая игра, в которой ты умираешь по 10, 20, 50, а может 100 раз на одном уровне. Несмотря на то, что играем мы за машину-убийцу, один выстрел из пистолетика или удар по нам мгновенно убивает гг. А учитывая то, что нам порой придётся сражаться с 5 и более врагами, пройти битву с первой попытки довольно не лёгкая задача. Но сложность тут возникает не только в сражениях, но и в паркуре. Обычно он достаточно простой, но иногда жопу рвать будет сильно, особенно вспоминая вышку, на которую нам надо забраться, или движущийся с огромной скоростью поезд (кто играл, тот, думаю, поймёт). И эти два аспекта и делают игру крутой, ибо что нужно было сделать, чтобы играть было интересно? Хорошую механику и не давать игроку скучать, чего не происходит, ибо постоянно появляются новые враги и новые способы перемещения. Но есть и третий элемент игры, который мне кажется лишним - киберпространство с головоломками. В конце некоторых уровнях мы отправляемся в некое пространство со страной логикой, и там мы либо паркурим (что конкретно там скучно, ибо отключены многие способности героя) и вместе с этим общаемся с архитектором - создателем этой среды, а заодно башни, где живёт ныне население Земли, но об этом немного позже, либо мы разгадываем головоломки, которые мне не особо зашли, ибо просто тупо сидеть и думать по 10 минут, вместо того, чтобы разрезать врагов или эпично паркурить, в этой игре мне не особо хотелось. После решения этих головоломок у гг открываются дополнительные способности, которые обычно долго перезаряжаются и могут помочь только в очень трудных стычках с врагами. Также в игре присутствуют боссы, от которых задница полыхать будет ещё сильнее, чем от стычек с противниками! Касательно графики - игра выглядит просто приятно, ясное дело что это не ААА проект, и ждать графику уровня Cyberpunk 2077 здесь было бы глупо... Сюжет здесь есть, но за ним я не следил, ибо он раскрывается в диалогах персонажей, русской озвучки здесь нет, а читать субтитры в этой динамичной игре... Довольно проблематично. Но если вкратце - человечество живёт в какой-то огромной башне, построенной архитектором, которго убила собственная коллега и установила диктаторский режим, и мы должны её убить. По словам многих сюжет здесь банальный и неинтересный, но кому, мне интересно, он вообще нужен в такого рода игре? По поводу производительности - на моей видеокарте-затычке за 12к руб игра идёт на максимальных настройках в full hd, и ни разу fps не опускался ниже 60, так что владельцы слабых ПК вполне могут комфортно в неё поиграть.… Expand

    This is a game which is perfect to finish once (unless you are into speedrunning/beating high scores unlike me). Very fun, very quick, with perfect 5-6h gameplay. Recommended!

    A good game with load of fun, an addicting gameplay for the sensation. A gameplay that i will continue to play because it is never frustating as they are many ways to engage the levels. The story is interesting
    In itself the story is quite predictable however the way it's presented within the gameplay at key moments make it far more interesting.

    Очень приятный визуальный дизайн, очень классная музыка, подходящая под стилистику игры, наиотличнейший геймплей и ебучий последний уровень с этим Архитектором. Только из-за него я ставлю игре 9 баллов, а не 10

    If you know what you're getting into, Ghostrunner will be a great game for you to play. Though, its fast-paced and one-shot gameplay might not be for everyone.

    The easiest way to describe Ghostrunner is to call it an illegitimate child of Hotline Miami and Mirror’s Edge. It fails to match the latter in terms of body awareness, but it makes up for it with well-thought-out, satisfying level design and looks great regardless of whether you’re putting your parkour skills to the test, or slicing enemies with your katana.
