    i really want too like this game but i can't. controls and hit detection is very buggy which made the game extremely infuriating. playing levels over, and over, and over again just isn't fun. the game requires absolute perfection. the movement is okay i guess. i would give this a 0 but the story from what i have seen is decent, the voice acting is phenomenal, the game is gorgeous, and thei really want too like this game but i can't. controls and hit detection is very buggy which made the game extremely infuriating. playing levels over, and over, and over again just isn't fun. the game requires absolute perfection. the movement is okay i guess. i would give this a 0 but the story from what i have seen is decent, the voice acting is phenomenal, the game is gorgeous, and the music is perfection living up too doom eternal's soundtrack. the game play does not compliment all the good aspects of the game. i was disappointed by the 3rd level all the praise and good things i heard i just could not agree with.… Expand

    You like to die and die again? this is your game.
    Don´t play it with gamepad, is a nonsense how the developer put the jump/dash in not common buttons.

    Graphically it looks beautiful, but it´s just ninja running simulator

    Amazing music but that's about it. Gameplay is extremely limited and repetitive. Level designs are unrealistic. Why has a city been created whereby you need a special grappling hook to travel around? Dying over and over again gets boring. Just a very soulless experience

    The game is ruined by the fact the developers decided to not include any save points in the game. So if you’re an hour into a level and the game crashes, back to the start you go!

    Ghostrunner is a flawed game. It's a game that demands perfection from the player while lazily failing at the solid groundwork to build that expectation on. The controls are buggy and often fail to register inputs. Occasionally the player will just get turned around by the game, or entirely fail to register a hit, a grapple or a wall run. This is made even more frustrating that it would normally be by the game talking **** to you when you "fail". The game gives you instantaneous retries (when that too isn't bugged out, sometimes the "r" key just stops working) which should encourage you to learn the patterns of the enemies but the developers failed to learn an extremely important lesson from games of this genre, RETRIES SHOULD RESET THE LEVEL TO A BEGINNING STATE. Something you'll notice in other games of this genre is that when you retry, platforms, for instance, always start in the same spot, so you don't have to wait for your timing to reset before knowing how to approach a situation. Enemies should be facing the same direction they always do, not were they left off last life. The reason for this is so that the player can develop a flow for a level. There's nothing wrong with a game being punishingly difficult but when the mechanics and design and poor programming of the game conspire against you it adds up to a frustrating experience. This game is a solid pass until some of these flaws are ironed out.… Expand

    They took a blender and threw in Dark Souls' one hit/one kill swordplay, stole some of Mirror's Edge parkour, and filled the rest with Cyberpunk 2077's future noir world. The result is this awful tasting, derivative goulash. Be prepared to play levels over and over again ad nauseam. A good game for the unemployed to waste hours trying to memorize routes and combos to advance 10 seconds.

    Киберпанк в данной игре заключается лишь в робо-руках, всё остальное время вы будете бегать по задроченной пром зоне, в которой как специально наставили ловушек, геймплей чистый рандом, болванчики безумно тупы, босс-файты...     Looks good and the music is amazing, but both the levels and combat are extremely repetitive, boring and nonsense. I really wanted to like this game, but it simply doesnt make any sense. Only for people who for some reason enjoy dying 20 times over every single combat encounter.

    It's basically a 4 hour game with a total of 17 levels , roguelike if you get tagged once you are insta dead. Why is it rated so high ? It's a one trick pony jump/wall dash katana swing - sums up all the gameplay this game has.

    Not even worth finishing let alone buying it at full price.

    There is no possibility to bind jump on scroll. Also terrible performance with rtx in such a dynamic game.

    game is one of the least accesible games I have ever seen and always needs you at the edge of your seat but not in a good way
    The story is non-existent (although there are people always talking to you its about how cool you are and how you need to go there and do that

    The game told u how you jumped from a very high point and then you survived yet you always die in 1 hit
    The game would have been better if it had more adjustable difficulty and better level design
    Its just way to fast and hard for an avarege gamer to follow
    Yet when you complete something hard you dont feel satisfied but annoyed you went through such an uneccesarly hard and poorly disigned level

    Only good thing is the movement which is just used for you to avoid and run away from people
    This game could have been like doon eternal if you need many hits to die and more enemies spawn
    And the current game could have been kept as a hard mode
    **** game in its current state
    Wouldnt recomend if you just want game to relax or wanna see a story

    Игра полная хуйня желаю умереть разработчику, сделана для мазахистов, прошёл полностью но игра говно не советую её делали не для людей

    The game continuosly crashing, then the turning cubes level in the "cyberspace" has maded by an incompetent level designer, it was exasperating and it maded me almost puking. At last after the half of the game it get much repetitive.

    The graphics are amazing the gameplay isnt. The controls are clunky and un-intuitive and It's hard as nails. I dont know about story as couldn't get past 1st section. I've put precisely 18m 3's into this game and it will never be played again. I must have died a gazillion times (even with assists on) in those 18 minutes. Absolute dribble. Wish I could get my money back.

    An absolutely horrible game. Its a horrible attempt at a fantasy/FPS sword game with serious parkour elements. However, if you are not perfect at the parkour elements, you wont get past 5 minutes of game play. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

    Honestly so disappointed game looked so fun and good yet i played it and want all my money back. So many bugs and glitches combined with clunky mechanics doesn't make a fun game. I find my self clipping through walls and floors all the time and jumping off walls didn't work half the time. What really made me upset was the enemies. It reminded me of the old school NES games where they take ages to beat but really its actually 2 hours long but the devs wanted to extend the play time by making the enemies hard asf for no reason. The guys will sit there and aim bot you and track you (even if you dodge out the way sometimes) and you get one shot which would've been cool if the bullets didn't move super fast and they didn't straight up track you. Game was played on PS5.… Expand

    If you know what you're getting into, Ghostrunner will be a great game for you to play. Though, its fast-paced and one-shot gameplay might not be for everyone.

    The easiest way to describe Ghostrunner is to call it an illegitimate child of Hotline Miami and Mirror’s Edge. It fails to match the latter in terms of body awareness, but it makes up for it with well-thought-out, satisfying level design and looks great regardless of whether you’re putting your parkour skills to the test, or slicing enemies with your katana.
