Jan 2, 2021The game is pretty good for what it tries to do: a first-person platformer. However it is in essence an one-trick pony so it is extremely subjective if you're gonna like it. It immediately throws you into its simple action which will be obviously loved by many but for the rest of us the game can feel like an unnecessary chore.

Aug 29, 2021I liked the movement, music and cyberpunk design (especially in the city parts, the industrial halls were just plain boring ) but thought it was a bit repetitive. The game can be easily completed without the use of skills and the story was rather forgettable.
Boss fights were frustrating and overall I felt Mirrors Edge did the whole parkour movement way better. -

Jan 3, 2021a good time pass game with really satisfying mechanics but gets boring real fast, also add savepoints in between levels if you don't want players to do the same thing again and again

Dec 27, 2020A good game that is held back from being great by the fact that some of the sections in the game are more frustrating than fun.
Overall I definitely recommend it. -

Nov 1, 2020I rather liked the game, the music is very cool it blends with the game, however the only problem is that the developers didn't put any save points, so when you start a level YOU MUST FINISH IT!

Nov 3, 2020A part with platforming sometimes "strange work" like a rigorous requirements to aim to target, but it's good game and I didn't regret playing it.

Mar 6, 2023This game is very pretty, but I didn't get very far due to the difficulty. I can tell there is a lot of fun to be had here if you can build up the skills, but I didn't feel motivated to build them, and the best difficult games make me feel motivated to get better at them (Elden Ring, Metroid Dread). I just don't think this game is in that category.

Nov 10, 2020Ghostrunner (PC)
(+) Fantastic variety of gameplay that makes every level feel unique
(+) Addictive challenging combat
(-) Frustrating controls where commands register improperly - especially when wall running
(-) The payoff/reward feels underwhelming
(3/5) - Above Average - Recommended at $19.99 -

Jul 19, 2023Mirror's Edge and Vanquish makes a melee baby called GhostRunner. I really liked the idea, but the execution was poor. The game felt tedious always having to restart over when you just make one little mistake.

Apr 11, 2021Huge optimization problem. Even old generation games can run better than nowadays games.

Nov 1, 2020The worst difficulty of a video game. the difficulty instead of being entertaining and fun the only thing it does is frustrate you, and a nonsense was that 1-shot enemies kill you. The game itself is good but it has a horrible difficulty and the controls felt exaggeratedly fast, I don't think I don't like the fast controls like warfreme but in this game you need to have reflexes like a **** ninja

Sep 13, 2023If you know what you're getting into, Ghostrunner will be a great game for you to play. Though, its fast-paced and one-shot gameplay might not be for everyone.

CD-ActionFeb 8, 2021The easiest way to describe Ghostrunner is to call it an illegitimate child of Hotline Miami and Mirror’s Edge. It fails to match the latter in terms of body awareness, but it makes up for it with well-thought-out, satisfying level design and looks great regardless of whether you’re putting your parkour skills to the test, or slicing enemies with your katana. Jan 15, 2021Are you ready to figure out the very limits of your adrenaline tolerance? Then play Ghostrunner, a devilishly difficult action game let down only by its slower platforming portions.
