Mar 26, 2011It's short and not much fun.

PC Games (Russia)Apr 8, 2011Even if you are a Ghostbusters fan, Sanctum of Slime is still difficult to recommend – it hardly contains any "fanservice" at all. [May 2011, p.81]
-
Apr 4, 2011While they may have had the intention to try the game from another approach, they managed to make a very sub-mediocre game, that would only serve to kill time, or let children play.
-
May 28, 2011Quotation forthcoming.
-
Mar 30, 2011It's not a good third person shooter, but what's more, it doesn't feel like a Ghostbusters title: the humour and all the brand's typical atmosphere is far, far away.
-
Mar 28, 2011The gameplay is not working as it should, technically. It's disappointing and the cooperative alone can not support the entire game. Ghostbusters SOS does not celebrate the franchise like it deserves.
-
Mar 23, 2011For the most part, the game is just boring with lackluster gameplay and reused environments, and then it gets frustrating. Toss in issues I didn't even mention such as unresponsive weapons and repetitive music, and I know I wouldn't want to suit up for this one.

PC GamerJun 18, 2011Sanctum of Slime could've been partially redeemed with co-op, but since it's ridiculously limited to local-only(no online or even LAN), few will ever bother to play it on PC. [Aug 2011, p.76]
-
Mar 30, 2011Recycled environments, mediocre gameplay and the absence of online play cripple this disappointing top-down adventure.
-
Mar 25, 2011Ghostbuster Sanctum of Slime is a small action coop title based on a single gameplay idea (monsters of a specific color can only be harmed by the same color). But its production value is poor, its story and atmosphere are dull, its levels very repetitive, and human players are mandatory since the AI can't keep up after 3 hours into the game. That's a lot of shortcomings for a single game.

PC Gamer UKMay 22, 2011Ghostbusting isn't a challenge. [June 2011, p.87]
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)May 22, 2011Below-average piece which was apparently made only to earn some extra cash while the brand is still valuable. [Issue#203]
