    This game is in war right now.
    On one side, there's the art, music, writing, animation team who did such a wonderful job so players can feast their eyes and ears on their work.
    On the other side, you have the business decision team who're actively trying to prevent players from playing and enjoying the game with terrible gacha rates, inflated prices, resource shortage, over monetization    This game is in war right now.

    Players are torn between praising the game's visuals, score and writing and loathing pretty much everything else. So far, the bad business guys are winning, hence my score of 3. The art team can't produce content fast enough while the bad business team is slowly chipping away our motivation to play every day.

    If you can play this ignoring all the business/limitations, just for the story, playing very casually over months, then you'll enjoy the game a lot.
    If you want to play until you have your fill, assuming that fill is more than 15min/day, then you'll curse the game's bad decisions for not letting you enjoy it.

    I don't think it's worth playing it in it's current state, wait until there's more content and that these issues are (hopefully) fixed.    … Expand

    What do you get if you install it?

    7) Interesting gameplay tied to the combination of different elements. In any case, it was interesting for me.
    8) loot Boxes. I will not write anything new here, this is something that can drain all the money out of you, and may not drain a single dollar. If you don't want to get everything at once, then you can play perfectly without investing money in the game at all.
    9) KLEE kawaii.
    10) Graphics, the game looks great on the computer.

    That's probably all I can think of so far.
    CONS! I almost forgot about them.
    1) Grind, it is here. If you categorically do not like it, then you may quickly get bored and you will give up the game.
    2) a Lot is taken from the legend of zelda -_- if you played it, it may hurt you.
    3) it can be difficult in Places.
    4) When you complete the story and vacuum the entire map, there is nothing to do. Although it took me about 100 hours. Not bad for a free game. It remains to wait for updates with new territories.

    Probably everything now.
    Why 10 balls?
    Beautiful characters and a world in which it is pleasant to be.

For a f2p player you run out of things to do in 20 minutes and there is no grind aspect to it to get better geared or leveled. Everything is hidden behind a paywall. Not recommend at all if you have a life, there is not much content anyway since their only few enemies, the variety is limited, not to mention theThis game is so stupid, it's just a "gatcha" game that lures you to pay money !     - Heroes and weapons are not balanced, so on higher levels base heroes are almost pointless, so you need to roll loot boxes to get better heroes randomly, from a lot of crap.

    - Heroes and weapons can be upgraded just by their duplicates, so you need to buy more loot boxes, to get about 6 more copies of item you need
    - Weekly, with heavy grind, you will get maximum 10 rolls for loot boxes after Randk 32, so if even they will not add any new stuff in Wishes (Loot boxes), you will need at least 150 weeks to upgrade out 2 heroes to their average power, but you need at least 6 different elements, so at least you will need at least 4 different heroes of top tier with 4 different weapons of top tier.
    - Even if you will want to grind, you are limited, cos you have "energy" limit, to grind content, so if you spending in around of $2000 on Wishes was not enough for you and now you finally want to Play content of the game, but you energy ended, you have option to Spend More Money to buy this Energy!!! < Perfect!!!

    Do not get me wrong, the game itself is good, to run around the world, play the story, search for the lore and some side stories, but this is it, play and forget, or become an addicted person, who will spend thousands of dollars, to have any fun from it over rank 30+, for now it's a lost potential of a really Good F2P game, which now is a Heavy Gambling Machine, unfortunately.

    But you still can have 10 hours of fun for free, so -
    ATTENTION: DANGER - Do not get Addicted!! Do not spend money at this state of the game.

    So for a Game: 8/10
    For a Gambling Machine Simulator on later levels: -8/10
    I love this game and hate their economical idiocy at the same time, I was looking to buy BP or Blessing, but after seeing this craps (especially it feels after R30) this game will see $0 from me, until they will not change it to somehow fair, reasonable and balanced form, there are a lot of F2P games with a really good, friendly and balanced economical models, when you do not need to sell house to get something useful on higher levels and ranks.

    Also, game have mixed optimization, on the one hand it mostly (Mostly) run very smooth, but you can't even normally change Kaymaping, game have some badly optimized areas too, vertical mouse sensitivity is an absurd, mouse feels like swimming and that can't be changed, camera lives in its own live sometimes, when you jump, camera may automatically look down, game can't use whole potential of GPU and CPU, also do not use extra RAM space, so even on SSD it have some MF sometimes, also it have quite unstable FPS on Pascal architecture and many other small problems.

    Hahaha, now they add event, where you need to specd resin, to get **** amount of Gems... :D And they people say, that AA or BDO are Donating Trash games.... :D    … Expand

    Never forget this is a Gacha and sadly one with the worst possible rates and very expensive, those who enjoy the world at its full potential are the same ready to spend thousands of dollars, or the luckiest free to play players, and yet they tried to target a larger audience? Lel.

    Who thinks as a free to play player, that farming a whole month for nothing when it comes to pull Gacha for new content was a good idea? Do they hate us that much for not paying enough?

    Before going to the positive stuff we have to speak about the negative content.

    - Terrible rates.
    - Pity system not so pity.
    - Cannot target lock.
    - Cannot skip cutscenes... (lucrative reasons).
    - Cannot reroll secondary stats with the artifacts (for example we could use resin to reroll secondary stats).
    - Artifact sets do not have the same drop rate within dungeons.
    - Artifact sets drop rate terribly unbalanced (one set may loot too much often than another), as it’s not hard enough having the right main and secondary stats.
    - No global playing time indication.
    - User ID always shown at the bottom right corner.

    And now for the good part!

    An amazing work has been done to the universe, it is a pleasure to explore what the world has to offer.

    The characters are very charismatic, weeb oriented design and yet really well developed in their story and personality!

    The voice cast is really good and for the first time of my life I have a preference for Chinese dub in a video-game!

    The freedom of movement (walk, run, swim, and climb) with the fluidity of the animation powered by Unity Engine makes it a true pleasure for exploration and the rp aspect, and did I mention you can soar in the air with your glider?

    The variety of artifacts and weapons gives you the opportunity to make diverse loadouts to maximize firepower of your party.

    You can coop with your friends for much more pleasure!

    In conclusion, the game could be compared to a jewel stuck in a haystack, the hay is the Gacha, remove it or improve it, and there you have your 9/10 game! But for now (although it's a pain in the ass to say that) there is no way it can score more than a 7/10.    … Expand

    Really nice for a free game, although gacha would lure you to spend hundreds or thousand dollars on it, the game itself is still playable, not to mention it is also giving players gems occasionally, not only through email but also through events. Players also got at least 50 pulls for free when they reaches level 10.

    Tontas son las personas que dan calificación negativa solo por estar furiosos de su mala fortuna en el gachapon. Para vivir la experiencia de disfrutar del mundo y las emociones de los personajes no pagas ni un centavo. Es un juego hermoso la verdad.     Tontas son las personas que dan calificación negativa solo por estar furiosos de su mala fortuna en el gachapon. Tontas las personas que no se dan cuenta que es normal poner micro transacciones dentro de los juegos y más tontas quienes caen en ellos sin tener dinero de sobras. Veo muy permisible para cualquier personas gastar 50 dolares solamente ya que es lo que hoy en día cuesta cualquier vídeojuegos. La verdad meterle 50 dolares está bien, pero más de eso no deberían pensarlo si es que no les sobra el dinero.

    Si tanto se queja la gente que vayan y le inviertan cientos de horas a el desarrollo de un videojuego como éste sin meterle micro transacciones para poder seguir desarrollando. Las micro transacciones son el resultado de empresas de alto renombre como EA games y Epic. No es algo que ésta empresa se haya sacado de la manga.

    Solo les digo. Disfruten el juego sin frustrarse por si no les sale el personaje que tanto querían. ésta semana hay un evento para obtener a Fischl que es uno de los personajes más deseados. El juego es nuevo y es por eso que hay tanta persona frustrada. Hay ciento de juegos con un RNG cientos de veces peor que éste juego como Subir full set BLACK STAR con Caphras en BDO. Esto no es nada y ciertamente se siente el amor que le pusieron a las voces de los personajes, al arte del mundo y diseño de los personajes.

    Es un juego realmente hermoso y vale la pena jugar como todo MMORPG sin frustarte por tener lo mejor tan pronto como puedas, porque si algo he aprendido de tantos MMORPGS que he jugado es que si te centras en ser el mejor no vas a disfrutar el juego como se debe.    … Expand

    Graphics are great, the world is great, the overall experience for the first bit is really immersive and fun. Then the Mobile cash grab catches on. Leveling requirements start to overwhelm you with ridiculous material requirements. Great Potential, Greed strikes again.

    Si fuera un juego gratis para PC con cosméticos y moneda en juego para comprar algunas cosas le daría una mejor calificación, pero no es así, es un gacha con unos drops muy bajos no solo en las invocaciones si no en todo el contenido, incluso si pagas esos drops siguen ahí, comparado con otros gacha que he jugado es uno con los drops más exagerados que he visto y no solo eso, tiene muySi fuera un juego gratis para PC con cosméticos y moneda en juego para comprar algunas cosas le daría una mejor calificación, pero no es así, es un gacha con unos drops muy bajos no solo en las invocaciones si no en todo el contenido, incluso si pagas esos drops siguen ahí, comparado con otros gacha que he jugado es uno con los drops más exagerados que he visto y no solo eso, tiene muy poco contenido si un mapa abierto donde no hay mucho que hacer y menos después de que lo exploras por primera vez, le doy un 5 por su jugabilidad el cual es sencillo pero no es malo tampoco y si divertido de jugar, esta reseña la hago después de llegar a Rango 45 de aventura y cada día pensarme más si seguir en el juego, ya que incluso pagando (que lo he hecho), no da una buena experiencia al jugador. Su historia en ciertos puntos me parece buena pero por lo general es muy regular y en cuanto al cooperativo es muy limitado, en si el juego ya es limitado por su falta de contenido.… Expand

All this high-quality content at this price point is insane, which is of course why they lure you to spend money on enticing characters that cater to a wide variety of preferences, male or female. That is the monkey's paw in all of this. Thankfully, this monetization model is fairly decoupled from the core campaign, and as has been mentioned often, renders this game very F2P.

    After about 40-60 hours of campaign (that will only increase in length in time to come), the game transits into an endgame grind where resources are timegated. However I'd also like to point out that 40 hour single player content that you spent 60 dollars for similarly slows to a grind in the endgame. I'd advise considering the amount of campaign content you get for how much money you're spending and let that influence your propensity to play this game.    … Expand

    Genshin Impact is an adventure RPG that uses a world level system based on your adventure rank. The reason they used Adventure rank is because you control multiple characters so they couldn't base it on your own level like in skyrim.

    Early game (Rank 1 to about Rank 35) you'll be able to pretty much experience the game to it's fullest without any difficulties. The problems come when    Genshin Impact is an adventure RPG that uses a world level system based on your adventure rank. The reason they used Adventure rank is because you control multiple characters so they couldn't base it on your own level like in skyrim.

    Early game (Rank 1 to about Rank 35) you'll be able to pretty much experience the game to it's fullest without any difficulties. The problems come when your adventure rank goes past that point as the material requirements to level up go through the roof. Characters require weapons to be leveled up, diablo-like trinkets to be farmed so you get the right stats and then leveled up, along with their own skills that require talent books to level up. This is on top of having to get ascension materials from world bosses to, you guessed it, level up.

    So what happens when you get to late game and pick up that brand new shiny character from the gacha system? Well, you'll be in for potentially weeks worth of farming to simply use that character, and this is what kills this game and why so many people are leaving it.

    Yes, those people in the other reviews saying "you don't need to be super leveled to do the content" are correct, but the difference is you could be fighting some basic monsters for up to 3 minutes while someone else who has better luck and gear can clear those monsters in under a minute. Outside of two special quests, there is no way to stop the world level from creeping up as you play.

    There are a lot of people complaining about resin blocking the gameplay, but honestly resin is a far less problematic thing than the RNG on party composition and gear.

    Oh yeah, and you have to roll on a roulette wheel to try and get better weapons than the basic ones they let you craft in game, which is on top of rolling on the character banner...    … Expand

    Good and enjoyable gameplay, especially explration with a friend. The world is decently dence, but does lack side activeties. And the gacha system is kinda bad. as in, really terrible.

    People up-voteit only because of stolen BOTW gameplay.
    I played a lot of gacha game, but this game is just nonsense. 5* and 4* characters has lowest droprate among gacha games, and by hitting garant, you still can receive 5* weapon instead of characters.

Проблема конкретно этой игры еще и в гатче, которая самая отвратительная из всех игр, что я иград. 0,6%? Серьезно? ИОтвраительная игра. If the .6% rate for limited characters wasnt bad enough, its the fans justification for this being the "pity system", where if you roll an absurd amount, you'll just get a "good" character (or weapon,) guaranteed. How generous! The repitiveness of this game becomes completely nauseating by the time you reach the 2nd area in the game, which just feels like an overwhelmingly bigger version of the first, but with a different theme of course. This game is the biggest disappointment I've played this year, and just feels like a bad omen of what future games will be like. I know for a fact this game won't improve in the future, it'll just continue to add more and more shallow mechanics until it's on its last legs.     We got 2 more hours of gameplay after 1.1 update. And that's all you need to know. There aren't any solved problems. And I just realised, that even after they add another region to explore, they won't add anything, except some more hours of gameplay. No fixed endgame and no more reason to play. I feel abused. I'll drop this.

    Imagine a team of talented artists making a gorgeous game, but the game is unfortunately directed by the most out of touch director/team there is. The part where they copied from Breath of the Wild is awesome as expected, but every other part where there's business involved is awful.

    The game expects you to pay, I mean it is balanced around players paying for its paid perks. If you don't, you'll just never have enough. They even had weekly quests that required you to pay to play more than their daily limit if you wanted to complete it, yes, there's a LIMIT to how many activities you can do daily. It's like they don't want players to play their game.

    The gacha system itself isn't bad, but they chose to put atrocious rates. So expect to pay up to $200+ to have a 75% chance at getting a character you want. And then you probably won't have resources to use them, because they come at level 1 and your enemies will much stronger, and the only feasible way to level is to do your very LIMITED daily activities. So you have to choose to either spend your activities to level your new character, or continue leveling your high level ones who are probably doing all the heavy-lifting already to clear the same activities.

    The pay to win in this game is, unfortunately, too much. You can see in many games where paying gives players a small boost/advantage to catch up with others and in my humble opinion that's fine, gives players who doesn't have too much time to play a way to keep up, but in Genshin there are items/systems that are only designed for PAYING players. There's a bunch of items that the only way to obtain is by paying, as well as skills/level-ups that are also only available if you pay (and pay a LOT by the way).

    Their balance is also out of whack, in nearly everything they give as low resources as possible, you'll never have enough of anything to level your characters and their multiple systems that require leveling up, and there's a bunch of ways to purchase (real money) these resources you desperately need just to feel you're not being left behind. Enemies will keep getting stronger, and so must you, but you'll struggle to keep up unless you pay, that's how it's balanced.

    The game is still in its infant stages, but a lot of these are complaints from players ever since their beta began and their direction did nothing to address these, so I hold very little hope they'll improve any time soon. Probably when their player base/profits sink so much then maybe they'll take a second look at these complaints again.

    In short, it's a beautiful game with great gameplay (copied from a critically acclaimed game afterall) filled with poorly business decisions trying to squeeze money from players in every possible way.
    It is free to play, but expect the usual scummy cheap mobile game money grabbing tactics limiting you to play in every way unless you pay. Just stay away from this for a couple years when they improve their game and check if it became a whale-only territory with 20 players online or an actually decent game.    … Expand

    Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

    Oh, the joy of exploring this beautiful world. Oh, the clever combat, the great voice acting, the compelling story. This is one of the best RPGs of the year. And it’s almost beyond comprehension that you can get it for free.

    Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
