I hate this game. It’s such a money grab and they give you nothing in return. It could be a great game but the gacha mechanics is awful.

This game is a **** car crash. It is made by incels for incels that have low standards. It is a poor mans zelda and has a multitude of glaring issues.
1- The art direction, is a direct rip off of Zelda Breath of the wild to appeal to a wider audience because they cant design games for the lives of them. It is meh and uninspired as it is a clone.
2- The voice acting is disgraceful and all

2- The voice acting is disgraceful and all voice actors should have been aborted. The dialogue is painful and makes me want to shoot myself. i was spamming the spacebar throughout the whole dull mess that is the tutorial.
3- the fighting is dull and patheticly shallow, it does not feel like any effort was put in and is on par with most bargain bin mobile games. There is no ooph behind attacks and the camera feels floaty.
4- It is an awful isekai that is on the same level with uninspired amines.
5- The characters are walking archetypes and will make you want to pinch yourself to keep awake while they speak.
I cannot bear to talk about this game anymore as it is physically painful to think about.

You might be thinking "HEY! isn't being inspired by a Zelda game a good thing?" Well, yes and no. in the right circumstance of creating something new and great yes but this isn't it. It's a copy of a popular game to sell gacha, nothing more. Environments and mechanics were lifted straight out of BotW to sell this generic, low-key slot machine featuring poorly animated females.

    good:
    * Looks nice but that's a given since it's a clone of a good looking game
    * Element reactions are fun
    * Exploring has it's moments

    Bad:

    * lack of main story content

    * often, poor subtitles don't match what the characters are saying

    * cringe dialogue that is neither engaging or smart, really just grown people acting and sounding like children

    * MC is thousands of years old, was a powerhouse (loses his powers ala Samus) and yet acts and looks like a teenager without the street savviness you'd expect from someone that is thousands of years old

    * Everything is a grind-fest. Weapon? Grind materials, mora (in-game gold) and experience items. characters? skills? level up? food items? weapon refining? EVERYTHING is a soul-sucking grind-fest
of multiple materials locked behind chambers only open certain IRL days of the week and costs insane amounts of mora so you'll constantly be grinding with minor returns. or you could grease the gears a little bit (or a lot) with some cold hard cash *nudge*nudge*.

    * co-op is a mess, want to play with just one friend? TOO BAD! we are sticking you with random people whether or not you like it! We'll also randomly drop people in mid-match for cannon fodder.

    * Low summon (aka gambling) rates. Ironically, the rates are so bad to get some animated boobs most weebs would probably have better luck IRL.

    * can someone explain why I need flowers to ascend a character to a new level? Do they eat the damn flowers?! None of this crap makes any sense. They didn't even try. You don't have 1000 masks of the many slain Hilichurls (which they have lowered rates on after all pre-mature ejaculation from weebs)? Too bad, now you can't be stronger.

    * The main point of the game (unfortunately) and the worst: boobs look like jello unmitigated by gravity so just standing still they are flying all over the place S E P A R A T E L Y. Again, cringe community proud of their pathetic cringe so don't bother trying to discuss this with anyone who identifies as Otaku or weeb. Imagine if they incorporated these unrealistic physics on a guys crotch. You'll have their two balls flying around just standing still. Hilarious...until the weeb community gets involved and does their cringe crap.

    * Otaku community. If you aren't one of them, you'll have a bad time interacting with the community. Every other sentence is blatant predatory and cringe. You'll never meet a group of more pathetic people proud of being sexual predators. What's worse, majority of characters are at least modeled after to be/act/look like teenagers or children to up the creep meter.

    * game gets a free pass to be **** because it's f2p and the target demographic (pathetic teens with no money and pathetic man-babies with no friends) eat this anime loli **** up.

    * main story quests are locked behind Adventure Rank (levels). there are only two main story arcs. the second one is an annoying long fetch quest. go here get this, bring this there, ad nauseam. The rest is just terrible filler junk that will have you roaming around looking for materials and treasure chests until you've lost your grip on reality and fun.

    * every sidequests is some pathetic sob story: "my daddy's gone I miss him...can you deliver this one flower to him thousands of miles away for 200 mora?"

    * Paimon

    * Limited interaction with the random people you find in the world. Just some basic dialogue usually.

    * Other thoughts: I wish there was more enemies vs enemies situations. It pretty much seems the entire world is out to get you. There are times you will fight treasure hoarders, Fatui and whopper flower all at once. Somehow, there is a secret pact that if they see you in the world they will team up to **** your **** up. Also, NPC friendlies don't react to their environment and are unaffected by enemies around them.

all in all: it's everything you'd expect from a gacha, crappy rates, poor storytelling, all in a attempt to sell you some animated boobs. This game is the definition of the ongoing battle between the West vs East of gaming. This type of gaming is popular in Asian countries where "fun" is often times synonymous with "grind-fest" and misinterpreted as "rewarding". There's enough articles out there that go into depth about the split of the gaming community but you'll quickly see the fans of this title will be, by and large, Asian. Youtubers don't count as they are just following the money and are often paid advertisements promoting the **** out of this terrible game.

    - sistema de resina com reposição ultra lenta;
    - o drop de materiais de ascensão dos chefes está uma catástrofe, assim como o drop dos materiais de talento.... por vezes você gasta toda sua resina diária e não consegue pegar sequer um item de raridade roxa, você pode dizer "ah mas pode-se fundi-los para obter raridade superior", engano, o número dado das outras raridades é ridiculamente baixo deixando o processo exaustivo e chato.
    - para evoluir os talentos dos personagens acima do rank 6 é necessário um item que apenas os chefes semanais dropam, isso é extremamente frustante!! Eu com AR 49 derrotando toda semana e sem falhar o Lobo, NUNCA obtive Spirit Locket of Boreas necessários para evoluir talentos de muitos personagens que uso em minha equipe
    - pegar protótipos de chefes é tão raro, tão raro que é quase uma lenda urbana, com AR 49 peguei 2 até hoje
    - o mundo é vasto porém vazio, muitos locais você faz uma missão e pronto nunca mais retorna
    - inimigos são poucos e muito distantes uns dos outros farmar se torna uma tarefa muito chata
*** Considerações finais: sinceramente já gastei grana no jogo, mas estou sinceramente inclinado a parar.... o jogo impõe travas de evolução que chega a ser grotesco

    -The game's story is good.
-The characters and its elemental resonance makes new meta in every update
    -Free to play-gacha based game
-The negative comments mostly taked about resin, gacha system, empty world etc.. Honestly idc.. as long as it has anime tiddies.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).. -The good thing, the developer made the pity system, so this game won't be a totally hell game..

Despite the overwhelming hype for this game it was extremely underwhelming and gets very boring after only a short while, without falling for the gacha system and paying for characters the game leaves you with very little to do, even for a free game, it is pretty much a watered down Breath of the Wild without the beauty and charm that Breath of the Wild had

GI can be easily called AAA game and it's available for free with gotcha mechanics.
In the moment I write this GI offers about 50-60 h of main story line and a lot of side and hours of exploration.

I decided to write this opinion becouse a lot of people hate GI without a reason and understanding of it.
So if you like anime design and open world games full of good story and exploration GI is a must play title, just remember it's gotcha game and don't believe haters who give this game below 6/10 they are just frustrated I don't really know what about.

The graphics, the cel shaded art style, the musical score, and the overall look and feel of the game is awesome. The user interface and heads-up display do not feel cluttered and look gorgeous. The game is free to play by the way, but it doesn't make you feel like you're playing a free game. There are no ads (not even in-game pop ups) and frankly their "wish" system (Gacha) and shop doesn't even stand out in the menu. The game is also FREE TO PLAY FRIENDLY. You can play the game without having the need to spend a single dime to enjoy the game. The combat is good. The game encourages players to switch characters in and out mid combat by introducing a system of elemental reactions where each character offers a different element that can create fun and cool reactions when combined with another. The game is not without flaws. But I'll let you find those out for yourself. The game is FREE and is AWESOME. It's worth a try. The game is not without flaws.

i forgot to mention that the music is also great and the sounds effects are well mixed.

Pros: The visuals look nice, and the dialogue can be funny at times.

Cons: Gameplay aspects are mediocre, and the story has little substance; a recipe for hours upon hours of mind-numbing boredom.

Summary: All-in-all, the game is alright if you like anime visuals and if you have plenty of time to waste. Personally, I'd rather spend my time playing something more interesting and unique.

I must admit that the graphics of the game are just gorgeous; an eye-opener on how jaw-dropping anime graphics can be in a 3D environment especially with its professional voice acting and decent storyline. Unfortunately, it is just corrupted and overshadowed by the imminent gacha system that the game's core system relies upon. Most of the time, players are just whining that they didn't get Diluc or Venti or whatever 5-star character that has humongous humabogolous breasts or generic lullaby """"cute"""" loli that fulfills the hilariously unbalanced meta of the game. Just like any other gacha game, balance doesn't exist. Meanwhile, the other part of the playerbase boasts about getting those meta characters either through sheer stupid luck or whaling their parents' inheritance. This game literally dictates the amount of dopamine you get just through luck. Get 5-star => dopamine overdose. Get 3-star weapon => depression.
I would have much prefer if this game was a paid game at the cost of removing the tedious gacha system. And that would have been an excellent 10/10 game for me.

    TL;DR: Gacha bad.

The actual cost of the game varies from “free” to “outright extortative”, and anyone with impulse control problems should never, ever, ever play this game, as it will try to fleece you for all that you’re worth.

The game’s core mechanics drive you towards grinding, but the result is that the amount of “fun” gameplay you get will ever dwindle over time.

All in all, as much fun as I had with this game starting out, I can’t recommend it. It’s a game that tries to eat your life, and it is unfinished to boot.

Maybe when the plot is finished, you could just pick it up and play it as a free open-world game. But you’d have to be able to ignore the myriad ways in which the game is trying to get you to open your wallet and devour your time.

All in all, this is a game to be avoided, not because of its low quality, but because of its incomplete nature and attempt at eating your life and wallet.

YOU DO NOT NEED ANY EXTRA CHARACTERS TO PLAY THE GAME OR BEAT CONTENT.

A lot of these reviews complain about wasting their money and not getting what they wanted or that they cannot complete content without characters and it's simply not true at all. Characters are cool or cute and they add more flavour to your gameplay but they are not necessary to playing the game. The game tells you the drop rates and it is a gamble so please stop playing a lottery and just play the game.

Strength in this game comes in the form of weapons, levels and artifacts. Weapons also come in the form of a wish system but also through a crafting system with a blacksmith, the crafting options have some of the best weapons and are what every player should craft asap. Leveling isn't like most games instead of killing enemies you gain most of your exp by using character enhancement material gained by opening chests. Artifacts are pure randomness but are where your characters get their biggest boost in strength. Upgrading them increases your stats tremendously, and not upgrading them can make your characters feel very weak.

Exploration is awesome in Genshin Impact and is the best world exploring I've seen in a video game. The world is huge and getting bigger with updates there is always something to do as you walk by puzzles or groups of enemies. NPCs talk and give you items and have stories. Lots of beautiful scenes to screenshot and look at. The stamina system you use to explore with gets better the more you explore encouraging you to do more. Eventually you will think you've found everything but there is always a hidden chest or something of interest hiding somewhere.

The story has some big plans but the game is not finished yet so the story isn't either. So far the story won't make you cry or leave an imprint on you but it is interesting and introduces some really cool characters and bosses. Events also add more story quests to the game so playing the game as it is being updated is fun and more interesting. Unfortunately I don't think these event quests will come back anytime soon and I don't think new players will be able to do them, but no doubt there will be new events for them to do anyways.

In conclusion, I have spent 10 bucks for the battle pass to get resources for leveling up, none for wishing as it's a gamble, I just saved my wishes until a character I really wanted appeared on a rate up banner and then I got him easily with my saved primogems. Playing the game has given me a lot of joy especially in 2020 which sucked. Don't get trapped into thinking you need a character to have fun in this game, you'd probably have a new favorite the next month. The game is fun and I'm waiting for more, Thanks for reading and thanks to mihoyo for this awesome game.

Worst game mechanics I have ever played, it's all RNG with no compensating mechanics. I needed a pyro damage artifact for my main carry, after months of farming I have 16 five star element damage artifacts of all other elements (cryo, hydro, electro, geo, anemo, physical) but NONE for pyro.

I need dvalin plume for talent upgrades, but the weekly boss drops claws every week, i have 9

There is no way to progress in this game if you are unlucky, it feels extremely unrewarding and frustrating.

Genshin Impact, one of the worst open world games I have ever played, the game only consists of graphics and gacha, an extremely overrated game. The game is based on, being lucky in gacha, doing daily quests, killing easy bosses, crying because you didn't get your Diluc **** and leaving. I've never seen a boss battle more boring than Genshin Impact. I regret every second I spent on this game.

Can get repetitive, but there is a lot to do, a good story, and all around a well produced game. (Also quite annoying that i have to log in every time i launch the game but that’s okay)

Grafica semplice e funzionale, trama banale e tranquillamente evitabile, buon gameplay.... pochi contenuti attualmente e il sistema Gotcha ne guasta la piacevolezza.

What to say? The game runs unperformant after playing for a long time - and, when it runs unperformant, it does weird things with the controlls (ie. you press '1' and it switches to character 3). The keybindings are horrible and you cant ribind them. You can grind a lot - but is this really neccessary in a SINGLE PLAYER game? Adressing the pay to win aspect: 5 Star heroes do a lot more damage and cary you over the game quite easily. They feel unbalanced and make the game boring.

All in all a grind that does not feel good, a technical disaster and a money grab. And we didnt adress the topic, that the game looks like a rip of breath of the wild. Really not worth playing.

Now with the update 1.2 i thought about reworking my review, but the new game features and the new part of the map are even worse, than what was there before. Still a bad game, which lost even more fun with the newest update, still a money-grab, still not worth to be played.

I've fallen in love with this game (again) after the release of Patch 1.2.

There are some issues with Genshin Impact, and it's still expensive AF if you plan to roll characters/constellations... nonetheless, it's not necessary to pay $$$ so I don't think that my previous score (0/10, yes I was a part of the "bombing" team) was correct.

I love this game. I've been playing for 2 months and all these people complaining just didn't like the game - that's all. I absolutely love it. You don't have to pay, it's not P2W. You get wonderful characters even without spending any money. The game has a lot of content, and it's still getting updated. I always wait for the next story. Gameplay is wonderful. The dev is greedy as f for sure but you can beat this hardest content with f2p.
some people just be an impatient and too demanding
Combat system is pretty simple but enjoyable . the down side is You don't have much option as f2p because some cool mechanic and cool characters are locked behind paywall. World building is a plus if you enjoy anime fantasy things. TBH, I enjoy this

TBH, I enjoy this free game even more than some AAA title this year.

Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

Oh, the joy of exploring this beautiful world. Oh, the clever combat, the great voice acting, the compelling story. This is one of the best RPGs of the year. And it’s almost beyond comprehension that you can get it for free.

Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
