    This game is great in general, yes there are some complaints about the anniversary rewards but other than that id 100% recommend it. Its has free roam, quests u can do and bosses u can fight. This game has kept me busy for months and is truly addicting. :D

    How unfortunate, I don't care too much about the reward, its the silence. What, no, "We're very sorry for the inconvenience about the game's performance, so so made a road map of future plans for fixes and quality of life changes. We'll be fixing this and that." nothing, nada, none? Literally talking to a brick wall.

    Genshin Impact is one of the best open world games you can play right now. The exploration aspect and sense of discovery in this game is better than any other game I played - including games like The Witcher 3 and Zelda: BOTW. The combat system is also really well-done, especially when you're still figuring out how all of the elemental reactions work and how you can string your party'sGenshin Impact is one of the best open world games you can play right now.     Other than that the story is pretty good, graphics look nice, and the soundtrack is stellar. The characters are very likable as well, and their "character quests" are some of the best quests in the game.

    One glaring issue that the game does have, though, is that it's a gacha game. First of all, this means any new character is unlocked through lootboxes. If you're a free to play player, you will gradually unlock lootboxes through normal gameplay and be able to unlock more and more characters, but you'll never be able to unlock every single character you want. This, though, isn't really a problem since you'll have more than enough characters to use in your team - you just won't have all of them.

    The real issue with the gacha is that it will limit how much stronger you can make your characters per day (this includes simply levelling them up). In the beginning of your journey this won't be a problem since there's plenty of exploring & questing to do outside of just training your characters. Eventually though, you'll run out of content and training your party is the only thing you'll have left to do, but you can only actually do so for around 10 minutes a day. The game will try to keep you hooked with a constant stream of events that give decent rewards to strengthen your team a bit faster.

    I give this game a 9 for how incredible the main game is with its satisfying exploration and combat system, but be aware that once you have explored most of the world and completed all of the main & side quests, you won't have anything left to do but grind and the game will turn into a daily slog. I recommend you to play every big content update as they come out, and just ignore all of the grinding and min-maxing you can do - since it's a tedious daily grind.    … Expand

    It is a f2p game with great potential. Though some things need to be fixed, the game still compensates for it until Ar55 . After that it feels kimda empty but hey they give regular updates so yeah ..... Overall a great game !

    Blood, sweat and tears. All of those were poured into gaining 2000 priogems. To get what? Beido. TWo times. In a SINGLE 10 pull. Whats even worse.. is that I already had her. I even did 9 1 pulls. But got nothing, NOTHING good. I am in pure rage, **** tears, and sobbing. I comand an apology, for making me waste my priogems only to get the same character twice.

    BUT…
    all those hard work of blood, swear, and artistic tears are smeared by:
    - the lack of Quality of Life improvements,
    - limited “energy” (this game called it “Resin”) with mobile games limitation
    - limiting the gameplay and enjoyment of players to truly enjoy and immersed in the game keeps it short;
    - the greedy and stingy company’s decisions: becoming more stingy and stingy (compared to their generosity near launch a year ago vs. anniversary rewards/celebration),
    - unwilling to listen and adapt to players’ feedbacks,
    - pure PR disaster of fans giving the game bad reviews due to the lack anniversary rewards/celebration,
    - that PR disaster also spills bad review onto other games/apps store pages too,
    - more PR disaster of blatantly censoring players’ opinions (especially negative ones, despite being constructive and wanting to improve the game)…
    - more and more bad “design” decisions developing short-term game features that gamers will abandon once they get “the Catch” or reach max rank for the Teapot Housing system, etc.

    TLDR this game is becoming its own worst enemy because it became so successful overnight, and the company has no idea how to carry on forward, especially by ignoring its fanbase that contributed a lot to the game success in the first place.    … Expand

    Imho, the company can barely go bankrupt, if it gives more rewards at least on its anniversary to its players who made it best mobile game in 2020.
    Of course, miHoYo made a great job but all the negative things that you run into when there is nothing left for you to explore on the map are very annoying and frustrating. Complete four stupid daily errands, spend your resin (1 unit per 8 min) and that's it for today. It takes 20 minutes at best. Ok, you can spend 15 min more if there are some events.    … Expand

    Story-wise, we don't have anything that is complete, only 3 out of 7?(may be more) chapters are available right now, and the dynamic of getting new chapters isn't too bright, given that it took 9 months for the 3rd to release, and another month for it to finish. Which is a shame, because the story is quite interesting, i'm not going to spoil anything, i'll just say, that even after a year playing the game i still find myself reading through dialogs and not skipping any cutscens.

    The gameplay is very deep, with vast world to explore and unique playable characters. By the way, that last point is one of the biggest problems with the game. Characters are either 4* or 5*, latter usually stronger, and are harder to get. On fact, so hard to get, that after a year of playing you'd have 5-6 5* characters, if you're a f2p. There are also 5* weapons, which are as rare as the characters. And there are artifacts, with rng so bad, i have been farming them for 3 months not getting ANYTHING decent. A nice adventure becomes -log in, do daily commissions, go get 5-6 bad artifacts, log out, repeat the next day-. Talking about characters it's hard to not point to the lack of balance: some 5* characters are useless, some are extremely strong for no apparent reason, some 4* characters are extremely strong, some are useless. That would be the problem if you were the one choosing, but in reality it's gacha that decides your fate.    … Expand

    This is not a game, this is just a casino. The game has no development and is not planned. Only new content, which is not even possible to buy directly, but you can buy loot boxes, which have a negligible chance of being dropped.
    Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. first of all its fun to see all this review of people that played one day at day one and give zero, pretty funny, so i am at level 56 in the game playing this game for a little bit less then a year at this point and the game is great it have probably the best open world i ever saw the elemental mechianics are awesome and the characaters are all so unique and well characterized, but i am sure you guys want to know what people think about the paying part.
    basically the game turn around a 5$ montly subscription and another 12$ battelpass every 45 days if u really want to play the game this 2 things are the must buy, there is nothing to do its something u have to buy if u want to really play this game the gems pack are totally skippable but for a free to play game that gives hundreds of playing hours for me is not a big deal since there are games that give you 8 hours of gameplay and they cost 80$ so if you are like me, an adult with a work and who can understand a company makes the games for gain and not for be the hero that give games around, the ticket price of this game compared to the hours of fun it can give is great and not comparable to most of the triple a games around cuz this game on pc its a triple a game.
    after all said we are about to reach the 1.7 update that will had a new entire region probably and so with that hundreds of explorations hours, this game is having a massive supoport from the developer and it seems tehy will keep giving it we are now just a 2 on 7 regions the 3rd is coming and 4 more probably will be realesed in the years this is just the beginning!    … Expand

    Hayatımda bu kadar kötü yönetilen bir oyun görmedim. MMO olarak çıkacağız denen oyun Co-op olarak çıktı. Her gün yapılan kısır döngü işler ve aşırı derecede bir para tuzağından başka bir şey değil. Yeni çıkan karakterler çok kötü ve uzun zaman düzeltmeler gelmiyor.

Most of the characters are just throwaways like Xiangling's father is just a generic npc model like they don't even care, because they only care about the money.     За год игри уже надоели одинаковые ивенты. Игра превращается в платную помойку (не ф2п игрок, купил 3паса и 3 полой луни). Персонажи инадзуми не радуют, Йомия и Кокоми проходняк, Райден с с2 толька работает и сигнатуркой.

Everything is a grind, everything is designed to suck up as much money as possible, and the game does not respect your time. Things have gotten lazier and greedier, and while the game has immense promise, every system in it hampers your enjoyment for that extra dollar (or 1000).    Update:

    Its sad to think that Mihoyo can’t appreciate its customers that made them so much money. They think 400 primogems, which is not even 3 single summons, will shut us up. They think so little of the playerbase. On top of that, they havent put any end game content aside from the abyss. The daily routine in this game is a bit of a chore.

    Don't look at all bad review. That's just review bombing about not getting anniversary gift from company. They just delay it but some impatient kid was furry about it. That's good free gacha game, and she can gift you more than 300 hours good quality content and good memories.

    No recomendado, un juego gacha que no beneficia en nada al jugador, ya seas f2p o un pobre desgraciado que pague por el mediocre "pase". Horas de juego para recompensas que no valen nada la pena y el sistema de resina simplemente empeora las cosas. Existen mejores videojuegos en lo que puedes gastar tu tiempo.

    Por 1 año con eventos reguleros con malas recompensas, con falta de contenido, en 15 min haces todo en el día, en el lategame. El primer mes del juego nos regalaban de todo, el inventario se llenaba y no sabias ni como, regalos, personajes, protogemas.... no parabas de jugar y explorar.
    El sistema captcha del juego solo lo utilizan para sacar el DINERO al personal, pero todo lo bueno que    Por 1 año con eventos reguleros con malas recompensas, con falta de contenido, en 15 min haces todo en el día, en el lategame. El primer mes del juego nos regalaban de todo, el inventario se llenaba y no sabias ni como, regalos, personajes, protogemas.... no parabas de jugar y explorar.
    El sistema captcha del juego solo lo utilizan para sacar el DINERO al personal, pero todo lo bueno que conlleva el genero captcha para el usuario como recompensas y eventos TODOS los días, algo todos los días, sin faltar el loguin DIARIO, que se completa al pasar el mes, y dentro del juego recibes las recompensas.
    Encima de sacarnos el dinero, los eventos los hacen web para sacar mas dineros con los cookies y nuestra información aparte del juego. Me parece una vergüenza.    … Expand

    God, the controls are terrible, both in gamepad and keyboard/mouse, why I shouldn't be able to change the X and Y sensitive in the camera for separate? who was the one that decided that half sensitivity in Y would be a good idea?     I stopped playing when they promised one thing (Rosaria in Dragonspine update) and brought another when Rosaria came out, I hate that they change things without community consent. Ну и конечно хотелось бы больше наград для free to play игроков, а то накопить 90 круток(70-80 софт гарант) и выиграть 50 на 50 для героя которого хочешь очень трудно. Но конечно игра имеет огромное количество плюсов, такие как музыка и визуал игры, благодаря которым уже целый год (я играю еще с патча 1.0, но переодически покидая игру на небольшие сроки) я слежу за обновлениями игры и самой компании, получая удовольствие, но к сожалению находя огромное кол-во минусов в игре, на которые почему то не обращают внимания разработчики. Надеюсь, что в будущем разработчики будут больше контактировать с комьюнити, учитывая их предпочтения и недовольства, а также проявлять к нему внимание!… Expand

    6. Не выполнение обещаний (Например, ситуация с крыльями из ивента с KFC, которые после скандала они пообещали добавить на некитайские сервера в течение лета, закончившегося месяц назад)
    7. Ужесточение гача системы (Если раньше созвездия на героях только бафали их и практически не влияли на их механики, то теперь михуё начали выпускать инвалидов с урезанными механиками, вырезанная часть которых засунута в консты. Т.е. только для того, чтобы получить полноценного героя с нормально работающими механиками, тебе нужно будет выкрутить его в гаче несколько раз. И это ещё не упоминая усугубляющуюся ситуацию со скамом в оружейном баннере, когда одно из двух оружий баннера мастхэв для многих героев, а другое полный мусор, показывающий себя хуже, чем аналогичные f2p пушки...)

    А ТЕПЕРЬ САМАЯ ГЛАВНАЯ ПРОБЛЕМА:
    8. Абсолютное игнорирование вышеперечисленных проблем со стороны михуё и ЧТО БОЛЕЕ ВАЖНО абсолютное игнорирование закономерного возмущения комьюнити, ДАЖЕ БОЛЕЕ ТОГО наплевательское отношение к нему! Михуё не просто не исправляют эти проблемы, они даже не говорят о них, они не ведут совершенно никакого диалога с комьюнити! Нет даже простого “Нам известны эти проблемы, мы работаем над их решением”, абсолютное молчание в ответ на критику со стороны игроков. При этом эти проблемы широко известны и обсуждаются в комьюнити, и они также известны михуё, но при этом нет совершенно никакого фидбэка с их стороны!
    По сути, годовщина была прекрасной возможностью для них “откупиться” за все свои косяки, но они этого не сделали, а те подачки, что они дали скорее походят на издевательство. Это и стало последней каплей в чашу терпения игроков и михуё захлестнуло волной праведного гнева. И что же михуё сделали в такой ситуации? Может извинились или хотя бы сделали официальное заявление, в котором защитили свою позицию? Нет, они продолжили отмалчиваться!    … Expand

Not only that, they choose to ignore, silence or BAN fan complaints or criticism because they feel like they are just. They took away signatures in the game, they banned people in discord, and they banned people on reddit as well solely because fans are upset with the lackluster and frankly lazy rewards. They have wasted almost 10 million dollars or anniversary emojis on Twitter; mind you we basically got rerun rewards in game though. Their customers support recently has abysmal with auto-generated replies, when we used to get genuine response. The recent events have been boring, unengaging and uninnovative. To top it off character design and structure. The characters they've made recently have had major issues that the community have tried to tell MiHoYo about but they refuse to listen. Yomiya internal cool downs, Baal not paring with Beidou, and Kokomi as a whole character is so greatly flawed. Please do not play this game until the game state is fixed. I am being completely honest as someone who has played a year, do not play this until it MiHoYo fix their stuff. I'm done supporting them as well until everything is fixed.… Expand

The music, the combat and so much more... But i have to give it a 1. A good game is nothing with an awful management team which doesn't care about the player base. Simple as that.     - chests dont respawn, making it harder to get new characters without paying in the late game
    - mihoyo does not listen to player complaints
    - the hilichurl enemies (who are described to be dumb, and not understand human language) are designed based off of native americans (i shouldnt have to explain why this is racist)
    - mihoyo constantly whitewashes their own darkskinned characters
    - new limited 5* dont compare to old limited 5* in the slightest despite having the same pulling rate (0.6%)
    - story and writing gets more and more lazy and rushed as the story progresses
    - characters are shallow as **** being 99% design and 1% personality and charm

    tl:dr, if you want to play genshin, take your time with it to enjoy the first few hours to their fullest. its not worth speedrunning the game. but other than that, i wouldnt reccomend playing this game. its a waste of your time    … Expand

    Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

    Oh, the joy of exploring this beautiful world. Oh, the clever combat, the great voice acting, the compelling story. This is one of the best RPGs of the year. And it’s almost beyond comprehension that you can get it for free.

    Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
