    Galactic Arms Race is a top-down space shooter. The most interesting thing about the game is that the weapons are procedurally generated. InGalactic Arms Race is a top-down space shooter. The most interesting thing about the game is that the weapons are procedurally generated. In other words, none of the weapons are designed by the game developers. Instead, the algorithm generates them based on your playstyle. The game offers a sandbox experience where you travel the galaxy shooting at the enemies without much purpose. Although there are missions, they are mostly designed to teach you how to play the game. I would describe Galactic Arms Race as a tech demo to show off its procedurally generated weapon dynamics, rather than a full release. Good music, colorful graphics and enjoyable shooting makes it fun for about 1-2 hours. Longer than that, the mindless gameplay will become repetitive very fast and bore you to death.
