Feb 15, 2017Great game in need of dedicated servers.
If you are behind NAT you'll never host. And hosts are always one step ahead.
The game plays and looks great but Ubisoft is just bad at easy decisions. -

Feb 21, 2017My opinion, the game is pretty good but the thing is.... all games should have an offline play, simple because where I live the internet connection is not so good and if I can play 2 matches without getting kicked out I'm happy. Second thing is that the game is to expensive now, because 60$ games for me must have a good
story and a good multiplayer. Altogether the game is worth playing. -
Nov 14, 2017+ Amazing graphics
+ A great variety of how to play and which hero to play
- Peer-to-peer connection in multiplayer
- A big amount of grind
- A small number of game mods
- Pretty mediocre singleplayer campaign
One of the most disappointing games of 2017. I cant believe that such good idea were realised so badly. -

Feb 14, 2017Fun game but to many network and matchmaking errors. Nice mechanics, great graphics and decent multiplayer. This game is going to have troubles if they dont fix the bugs FAST

Feb 17, 2017PSA!
Do not play this game with keyboard and mouse. Your performance in pvp will be significantly lower than that of someone using controller. It doesn't really matter if all you do is 4v4 Dominion, but if you want to be good at 1v1 and 2v2, you really need the best possible control scheme, and that is the controller, not the kb&mouse. -

Feb 24, 2017A fun game marred by **** P2P connections for matchmaking. Frequent drops and disconnects. Microtransactions. Poor balance. Broken counter-guardbreak. 5/10

Jun 19, 2018Good fighting mechanics, terrible business model.
Even buying the full game you have to grind ingame currency to unlock heroes, and spend 15k steel to unlock one of the season pass heroes (which is a huge amount of currency). You can spend an additional 40$ USD to unlock those 6 season pass heroes, which is rediculous. -
Aug 11, 2017Unique settings and simple yet effective gameplay cannot save For Honor from the terrible result of a nonsensical story mode and numerous painful multiplayer issues.
-
Aug 29, 2017For honor is a fun experience. The microtransactions aren't as intrusive as some people would have you believe. The single player component is also well done. The peer to peer servers are killing the game. I can not give this game higher than a 6, until the severs are fixed.

Jun 9, 2023On release? Jank junk, after years? Pretty decent. I don't play any more but it was alright overall.

Mar 5, 2017I've played only the beta test on PC, I thought that the controls are not so good, the lock target keep locked even after you kill the enemy (I don't know if they fix it), and I think that the price is high for this kind of game, I'll give another chance when they low the price.

Aug 26, 2018This game is pretty awesome. It's a very unique idea and everything about it is awesome as well. Graphics and story are great, game play isn't the best, but isn't the worst either.

Nov 30, 2022Story modunu oynamadım ama online 1v1'i çok iyi değil mi???????????????????
-
May 10, 2020I like the idea. But the game feels so repetitive after a while. This game with more characters and a better performance in the combat could be a really nice game.
-
May 16, 2020Cool and new fighting mechanics for when she came out. But zero game content destroyed this game.

May 16, 2022Graphics are great, story is okay and gameplay mechanics are really amazing.
If you like demanding battles: here we go
If you are a casual gamer: maybe a bit too demanding -

Feb 21, 2023For Honor is a good game, but is difficult to get into with it's declining playerbase and extra steep learning curve where every beginner's first 50 games are just getting themselves steamrolled.
-
Apr 22, 2023Just make a sequel already the story is amazing gameplay is good everything is good but at some point of this games development through years ubi just pulled the plug. This could've been so good now its just mediocre waiting in a corner to reach its full potential.
Awards & Rankings
-
Edge MagazineApr 16, 2017It's feature-creep, in short, bloat orbiting an excellent core. In that regard, at least, For Honor is a Ubisoft game. [May 2017, p.112]
-
Mar 31, 2017Amazing rich gameplay that is sadly let down by an overly complex UI and hidden barely there tutorials. Sure to be a long term hit. [Issue#260, p.60]

Mar 22, 2017I did have some issues with the game servers early on, but they seem to have been ironed out. And as mentioned, the voice acting and the story mode could have fleshed out a little better. But if you look past those issues, For Honor is a wonderful title. The variation in game modes makes sure that there is something for everyone, and the maps are rotated enough to keep things fresh. The character classes allow you to choose a play style that suits you, whether it is the strength of the Heavy or the speed of the Assassin class. And with controls that are so smooth and optimised, it never seems as though any class or enemy is overpowered. So, if you excuse me, I’m going to don my armour, collect my shield and blade, and head back out to the battlefield... my team needs me.
