    I applaud Ubisoft for trying something different, but this was way off the mark for a "triple A" game from a major developer. The game is incredibly repetitive and boring - I literally almost fell asleep playing through the campaign. Overwatch could be viewed similarly at launch, but it was fun and vibrant and the servers didn't crash constantly! I returned the game, however if you areI applaud Ubisoft for trying something different, but this was way off the mark for a "triple A" game from a major developer. Possibly not, but it sure as heck doesn't deserve anything over a 5/10 so consider this a balancing score to help bring the overall score down to the 4/10 that I feel the game actually deserves.     For a Triple A game, not having dedicated servers (P2P servers only) seems like a terrible decision. This game requires precision and twitch combat skills, and any amount of server instability can ruin the experience. Also,
    Steel (the online currency) is purchasable, U-Play is terrible and forced upon consumers. This game has thus far not lived up to the hype at all.

    Totally underwhelming, connection problems, lack of content, repetitive, bad matchmaking, predictable... Classic Ubisoft, stay away, in the future, when sales, when they have fixed the game but nobody plays it... then maybe think about it for 3 hours fun.

    Peer to peer hosting on a game that requires absolute precision is terrible. Core element to the game ruins everything. The amount of stamina loss, when you parry/block attacks is minimal. Blockers/parry always beats someone trying to actually duel. Combat ends up in trading one or two blows then blocking everything else. Its boring and sluggish gameplay. Having such a fundamental mechanic, as flawed as it is, completely ruins the game. Its too easy to counter a feint as well, so there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of game play to exist in this type of game.

    If someone gives this a 10 out of 10, automatically disregard their review. The game is absolute Rubbish, just like the developers who developed the game! Thank god I was able to get a refund on steam. Just bypass this game, and don't waste your money.    … Expand

    AAA game, p2p, no dedicated servers, steel is purchaseable, Uplay is forced and 1vX is broken. The controls feels extremely clunky as well. This doesn't live up to the hype at all, whatsoever. I doubt I will tick in more than 3 hours.

This was supose to be a fun game with dueling but ended up as an "FALLING OF A CLIFF SIMULATOR"

    Nice graphics and optimization, but p2p totally runied the game. Also, microtransactions in b2p game? Srsly?! You can buy resources and boost your equipmnet for real money.

    That game would get 8/10 if not problems with connection. Sometimes it's pretty OK, but sometimes you gonna get a close fun game where you or your friend is just gonna be suddenly kicked. Oh and btw it can also happen in single player which will make you to start over.

    Fighting is pretty cool but might get tedious after a while. Game worth about 19$ in the current state.

But without dedicated severs the game is laggy and its not uncommon to drop out of matches with your friends 2 or 3 times in an hour, which makes this game hard to stick with. With lag and unbalanced characters, there is a handful of characters that are easy to use and are overpowered. Players (including myself) often choose fast dodgy characters because they have an advantage over other players in a game like this because they are harder to block and hit with such lag. You will often hold a direction to block one of these players but find that the hit still go's through because of the delay, you will also find that if you do manage to get them close to death they just run away from you until they get an unfair team fight or find health. You will probably see a descend amount of people saying they don't know why people dislike this game but these players are the ones that play OP characters, I don't find a game fun when I just destroy the other team over and over not because I'm better but just because my character is better and has an advantage. Another unbalanced part of this game is revenge. I like and understand the concept of revenge because it makes fights balanced when you get teamed up on and its nice to get rewarded for things like blocks and dodges. But the problem is that that players get gear that rewards them for getting hit, many times I have been laying a beat down on someone only to have them get revenge 2 of 3 times in a single fight and kill me. I was clearly the more skilled player but because I gained no revenge and lost the fight. NO PLAYER SHOULD GET REWARDED FOR POOR PERFORMANCE and anyone that plays this game will for sure run into this problem. I would say I am pretty good at this game but I never feel good domination a team just because I have better gear or spam revenge. Again I love the idea of this games but its clear MANY corners have been cut and Ubi Soft seems to care less about how many players it has lost. Even to the point that they don't take complaints or suggestions, most company's will at least give you a place to say what they like or don't like even if they don't really listen or care. It seems that they release game after game tricking people with cool concepts and then abandoning the game, we pay a lot of money for these games and I feel we have the right to ask for a quality/finished product. We are making these guys rich so the least we can do is demand a solid game.… Expand

    While the game is a 7 out of 10, the peer to peer, and the amount of grind you need to unlock all the "game" (2.5 years, or to pay >700$) shows how money hungry this company is, and completely ruins this game. Shame on you Ubisoft!

    I picked this game up as it was given out for free after E3 2018. This game has been out for a year and it should've had time to heal its broken reputation.

    -the servers are still absolutely terrible, I would connect to a match and 4 out of 5 times the match would be completely disconnected by some random error code. THIS KILLED THE GAME FOR ME. And the For Honor support team only had one answer "wait for us to patch it to fix it". Absolutely terrible.
    -the story mode is embarrassingly simple and short

    The servers really killed my enthusiasm for this game, I have never been more frustrated in my life. This game has great potential but for now I'm never touching it again regardless.    … Expand

    It is impossible to play, the game disconnects you from the match sooner or later just like in the beta, they say they already gave servers to the game, and the truth is still the same, please do not buy it or you will get a big disappointment

    Game balance is horrible and it's getting even worse. Several classes are overpowered? Let's make them even more powerful.

    Graphics is great, soundtrack is ok.

    The game itself is very fun and addicting as it puts 3 factions together which weren't not around at the same time and sees what would happen, answer, war. The gameplay is fun as it actually takes skill and understanding of the game to play it also anyone can play the characters in the game but to be good at them is a different story. But the servers on launch and for about 2 weeks after were absolutely awful as you lag like crazy at some points because of connection and you would just randomly crash out of games and the reason this was happening was probably because they were using peer to peer servers which is a terrible idea especially for a triple A game. The campaign, which was a surprise to be in the game which is very good as most multiplayer focused games don't even bother anymore, was decent as the story was lackluster and you didn't really have any connection with characters but there were some interesting mechanics like story feats and you could play as every faction throughout the story and play as most characters in the game to make you get a feel for them in the multiplayer.… Expand

    Unplayable, buggy mess. Can't even join 2 of the 3 game types at all, and matchmaking is terrible if you ever DO manage to join a game - one team will be full of leveled-up veterans while the other is packed with bare-bones new players. Then once the game starts, expect constant interruptions from connection problems.

    I got the game for free and I still would not recommend it.

There are no dedicated servers that means you need to connect other players as in p2p connection and as a bonus Ddos is still a thing. You will get disconected a lot thanks to p2p connection and ddos attacks. I thought it can't be worse but I was wrong. It's been nearly 3Another attempt another Ubisoft failure.     This game frustrate me so much i have never been so emotional about a game while hating it so badly, even if you win you are not satisfied and you feel its cluncky and bad.
    Characters which deserve attention dont get it while the devs take in consideration the very god damn least requested thing and doing exactly the opposite of what the community wants.
    Its filled with soooooo many toxic players whicu try to get the devil out of you.
    A game which specifically requires a millisecond of reaction is running on 30fps on consoles making the animations half smooth, in addition of letting players with a stable ping above 100 to remain in the game.
    It takes me on average 10 minutes to find a server of 7 players in totall (me being the 8) and thats for the most popular game mode in the game (dominion) and my nat is always open, internet always good so connectivity is never an issue for me.
    If anybody is even reading this i am a totall rep 124 and i dislike this game in every way.
    And i am gonna avoid talking about the super crappy launch state it was at the beginning with p2p servers and getting kicked 7 out of 10 games.    … Expand

    I was thinking about big battles, smooth gameplay... NOPE just kinda duels after duel or close in battles. The gameplay is HORRID : the lock and parade mode is a pain and it can look stupid with those warriors holding their shields over their heads like stupids. I'm not even talking about all the glitch this game    Got the game for free. I was curious about what a melee only game could be.

Some design decisions simply dont make sense. Characters that - based on their class (role) SHOULD be farming minion lane but absolutely lack all tools to do so. Health and damage numbers are completely random as if they threw darts at a board and just went with whatever rng came up with.

    Huge issues the game has never get addressed. Even if something eventually gets fixed it takes always at least 1 year.

    The last "DLC" character they released is BY FAR the worst character in the game. Think about what that says about the people who are still working on the game! They have absolutely no clue what they are doing! Its crazy. I really have never seen a game design team who utterly lacks absolutely all understanding of basic things in their own game.

    I downloaded the game on Steam's "free weekend" to test. The game has everything to be good. However, no chances. In my experience, it is literally impossible to play. 1) You can not find matches; 2) When you find, OR you "fall" because the server is worthless OR you play with very high level players. I do not recommend buying. Maybe at 99% off IF you like the style of the game and youI downloaded the game on Steam's "free weekend" to test. The game has everything to be good. However, no chances.     Зашел недавно и просто охуел. Почти все новые персонажи, это просто спамящее гавно, с ударами/толчками по 500мс. Сломанная    Играю в игру с релиза, суть боевой системы и геймплей хороши.     После выхода в стим, эту парашу даже привязать к стиму нельзя. Чаво? Тем кто поставил 10/10 можете лицо обоссать, кроме графона и изначальной задумки, там нет ничего хорошего. Например - фана, соревновательности, кооперативности, геймплейной глубины и даже банального блять баланса команд в режимах со шмотьем. Найс.    … Expand

    The game is a complete flop. The single player campaign felt lackluster and the online modes are dead. The only good things about this game is the nice looking player models and the medieval themed combat. IMO this game is not worth a cent.

    No balance..... At all. It's a game where newcomer can do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Veterans with 140 lvl of reputation will bulldoze every newcomer. Matchmaking there about 5 minutes... And UbiS H I T of course added BATTLE PASS which you should buy for real money! Not for game currency. ubiS H I T felt lower than EA and Activision. RIP Ubisoft.

Тайминги ударов уменьшают. Игра начинает не удовольствие приносить, а ненависть вызывать. Такой игровой проект убили. Читеров море стало.Каждое обновление убивает игру.     While playing breach pvp, 3 of my teammates left. I left too, because bots are bots. After leaving
    i got 25 min penalty. The system is not working, the game is not suitable in for multiplayer at all, because you will never go 1v1, unless you go for duels at which point you will get owned by cheesy combos.

    I love the animations and setting of this game just like it's fighting system idea that's not available in any other game, but this game isn't fun to play at all. As a pretty good experienced player (about 650+ hours of a gameplay) i can say that this game is very unbalanced and broken. player with my long experience has no chance against some heroes in a match.     В игре полностью отсутствует баланс. Новые герои начиная с четвертого года сделаны на коленке за 15 минут. Не имеет значения какой класс персонажа или его сложность ты выберешь. В любом случае тебе найдется пару других персонажей которые будут тебя разносить не взирая на твой опыт и умения. Я наиграл в FH около 500ч и последней каплей стал грифон. Если мне кто-то скажет что после будут фиксы и персонаж станет более менее играбелен то это не так. Многие персонажи получают фиксы которые не отражаются на игровом процессе. И если кому-то все таки важно мое мнение, то я бы предложил разработчикам полностью избавится от фракции рыцарей, именно она вносит самый большой дизбаланс в игру.… Expand

    Graphics, animations, and decorations are perfect. Great medieval atmosphere. Nice characters variety. BUT no fun playing glitchy unbalanced game.

    Matchmaking is also a complete dumpster fire, not matching people based on skill or experience so you often end up playing against people far more skilled while you're still on your first matches.

    Want your character to move where you tell it to? Too bad, right can be diagonal, diagonal can be back, and if your target moves your direction will move also.

    Want to block or parry in time? Too bad, there is a bug that will randomly make blocks not work and it's in the game since the beta, while parry timing keeps changing depending on the opponent's ping.

    Want your character to do what you tell it to do? Too bad, every hero has different mechanics. You can hit one person after a parry, but not the next, your input might get ignored by the game or get buffered for several seconds, to parry you need to heavy attack but often you just get a block and then a heavy attack later instead of a parry.

    This game is like going out for Jack in the Box at two in the morning, because everywhere else is closed. You immediately regret your decision and think of what you could have actually spent your money on.

    My experience with this game... Well, to be quite honest I didn't even have an experience with this game. It is hard to have an experience with a video game if it doesn't even want to launch. Shocking, I know. I didn't think it was a big deal at first, I went through troubleshooting to see if I could alleviate the game's failure to launch, to include:

    Validating the games files
    Disabling my anti virus software
    Adding exceptions to my anti virus software
    Re-installing the game to my HDD
    Watching an episode of Rick and Morty (Season 2, Episode 1) this step is crucial
    Re-installing the game to the same HDD that the launcher is located on
    Taking a shower, using Old Spice bodywash and Tea Tree Shampoo (Lather, rinse, repeat)
    Un-installing and re-installing easyanticheat multiple times (no less than 30, give or take another 10)
    Baked a pizza (pepperoni, this is very important)
    Un-installing and re-installing Uplay
    Watched an episode of Game of Thrones (Season 6 Episode 5, The Door) SPOILERS: HODOR DIES
    Consulting the FAQs on both the Ubisoft forums and EasyAntiCheat website, none of which actually was helpful or insightful. Do not recommend.

    I also submitted a trouble ticket to both Ubisoft and EasyAntiCheat, neither of whom were able to help figure out the issue. I suppose EasyAntiCheat is working, considering I can't even cheat if I can't access the game. Well done Ubisoft and EasyAntiCheat, bravo. Working very well 100%.

    Now on to the grades I have given various aspects of the game:

    Campaign: 0/10

    I gave the campaign a 0/10 because I wasn't actually able to access the campaign. I am sure I would have been able to if the game had the capability to launch itself, but I wasn't able to determine whether the story had merit, if there was any character development, or if the dialogue was crisp. Sadly, the campaign gets 0 flurbos out of 10 possible. Not a good way to start off Ubisoft.

    Graphics: 1/10

    I gave the graphics a 1/10 because I wasn't actually able access the game due to its inadequacy and inabilty to actually function. It gets a single point because the splash screen the game gives me (before it gives me the launch error that I've seen 50+/- times give or take) was rendered wonderfully. I've never paid $60 USD for just a splash screen before, but unfortunately it is not able to make up for the rest of the game's dull appearance and mediocre attempts at being a joyful and exhilirating experience. Graphics get 1 Plumbus out of 10 possible.

    Multiplayer: -69/10

    I gave the multiplayer a -69/10 because the multiplayer functionality of the game was not accessible at the time. I believe this is due to the game's inability to start and perform its sole purpose in its life. It had one job, and now its back on unemployment, at least until it ends up at the bargain bin at your local Gamestop for tree-fitty ($3.50 USD). It would have been nice to wage war against my fellow gamers as a Samurai hopped up on cocaine and hookers, but alas, it was not meant to be. Multiplayer gets -69 shleemies out of 10 possible.

    Conclusion: Don't settle for Jack in the Box. Go get the steak dinner (or tofu dinner, if you're into that) that you deserve. Also, I do not recommend this game. You are better off wasting your time inflicting minor/severe injuries onto your body, such as shooting yourself in the foot, peeling the flesh off your pinky, or cutting off your limbs with a lightsaber (PRO-TIP: Dress up as Obi-Wan and proclaim you have the high ground.)

    If you have already purchased the game like I did (foolishly), know that you can get a refund for the lack of game you received if you haven't played it for more than two hours. (The .5 hours on record for me was the time accumulated just trying to get the game to run). My refund request was submitted and approved within a matter of 3 hours. THANK YOU STEAM!

    I never wrote a review but people have to be warned from this "praised" **** game. The controls are not made for pc and you cant play this even against CPU's because the controls dont allow you to do what is required to finish it....

    People seem to be warped on what the idea of skill is with this game and as of writing this githyp has the player base on PC down as 4113. peak at around 5k.
    The Latest class release has been handled terrible in my opinion, i under stand they want to drum up sales on the session pass and reward players that have bought it, but the new classes are locked off 100% to the people that haven't bought the pass. you are unable to even look at the characters main screen without be redirected to an in game store. this brings up the issue of i had no idea what the character move sets, skills or bonus passives were for the first day.
    I though i could just pop over to Bot training or solo free play were you can try out every class even even ones you don't own, the two new classes where completely locked out there as well.
    this seemed over the top to me. like what have they got to loose from me playing the new Premium Pre-release in an Offline solo training game?

    over all this just screams poor planning and not really thinking through have the game works and plays.

    For Honor is a game    Cheese: The Game. That is For Honor. Forget the fact the game doesnt actually function on a technical level for a moment. Sure, that makes it a 0 and well deserved, because a game this technically broken doesnt deserve a single cell and the creators deserve some serious financial repercussions. Forget all of that for a moment and let me tell you about For Honor.

    For Honor is a game with 12 characters, 4 of which are playable. The other 8 are for marketing purposes only. They can be selected and using your input device on them in game will make them move and even execute moves and it will feel as though they exist, but they dont. Why? Because the balance in this game is ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. For Honor is at its core a fighting game, akin to Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Those games generally end up the same way, only 1 or 2 characters are "top tier". These things generally are unavoidable, but are organic. Most fighting games end up with a "tier list" organically, birthed from the billions of hours that millions of players worldwide will put into the game, learning and mapping it all out. The developers rarely actually KNOW which characters that players are going to figure out interesting and powerful tactics for, they simply develop the roster around a core set of mechanics and design philosophies. In effect, most fighting games evolve and distill down naturally.

    For Honor was designed from the factory with a tier list in mind. And the way in which this game plays makes it absolutely hell if you decide you like one of the unplayable characters. If you REALLY want this game, you need to google for the "Best for honor characters" RIGHT NOW before you buy it, and decide if one of the 3 or 4 viable ones interest you. You see, the problem is that despite what you may be told by people who casually play the game, or what you might see on YouTube videos, For Honors combat is dog simple. It is built entirely around spam, and abuse. Each of the 4 playable characters are playable because they possess a handful (or even just a single) insanely powerful, easy to perform move or ability that renders the entire roster nothing but cannon fodder. Take the peacekeeper, the current top tier character (and without doubt she will be until the heat death of the universe, as she has been since closed beta and has been receiving BUFFS each patch). Her basic light attack is so fast that only 2 other characters have the block speed to block it. And if for some reason she falls under attack, or faces another PeaceKeeper she can dodge with such speed and distance that it renders her invulnerable until she decides otherwise. Forever. With 0 cost of risk or resource. She is unstoppable....

    Unless you pick one of the others, who have equally broken mechanics, and have had them for the entire run of the games playable(such as it is with the network issues) existence.

    Warden is nearly as fast, and can kill any character in 2 hits with single button moves and has unblockable chainable stunlock. This move takes 2 buttons.

    Warlord has unblockable stunlock that chains into unblockable stunlock and cannot be interrupted, as well as nearly 3x the the health of any other character. This move takes 2 buttons pressed at once.

    Orochi is even faster than PeaceKeeper and has even higher damage and the second longest range in the game, and can dodge-attack with unblockables with a stick input + 1 button.

    And those are the 4 characters that make up 85% of the matches online. Without fail, without change, it will be those 4 in whatever combinations every single match in every single game mode. If you pick anyone else, everyone on your team is going to moan and whine at you.

    I should also mention that EVERY SINGLE MAP IN THE GAME, IN EVERY MODE is built around removing combat from each encounter. You can throw people into pits in this game, it ends fights in seconds. There are pits everywhere. The games duel mode, which focuses on 1v1 balanced combat.... always takes place on a narrow bridge or a cliffside. Not just every other map, but literally the duel arenas are built around the pits. So most duels end up just being whoever can press the throw button first. Loading takes longer.

    In summary, For Honor is a haphazard comedy of disastrous design encapsulated in a beautifully rendered game that looks amazing in marketing shots and YouTube videos but has no depth or actual meat to the gameplay. Between the deliberately terrible balance, the lack of actual combat due to all maps designed around throwing each other off cliffs, to the fact the game hasn't actually been functional since release due to the networking architecture being so (well documented elsewhere and not the focus of this review) broken I feel safe in declaring this the worst high budget AAA release of 2017. How can such a huge company as Ubisoft tell us to f*ck off and not create dedicated servers for an AAA title like this? Another minus, just like any other Ubisoft title - Uplay. It's awful!     Unless you're getting it for free (starter edition weekend like me) or it's heavily reduced on price (No less than 50% off, being generous) it's not worth it.    … Expand

    Everything else could be amazing (it's good, but not amazing), and the lack of dedicated servers is atrocious. We are supposed to pay $100 for a full game that still has microtransactions on top of that AND it doesn't have dedicated servers. That's a HARD PASS.

The Peer-to-Peer model they chose adds 100-120ms of latency on top of any ping between connected players in a multiplayer game. He also discovered that it's trivial to sniff out the IP addresses of all people connected in a multiplayer game. So, the netcode is garbage and adds a lot of latency in addition to normal ping AND it because it's Peer-to-Peer, it also allows people to lag switch you or DDoS you, whichever kind of douchery they want to go for.

    If Ubisoft doesn't want this game to fizzle out and die faster than The Division did, they'll switch to dedicated servers. However they are far too greedy for that. Also, there is a Season Pass and pay-to-win microtransactions, some costing a hundred bucks, which give people a fast track to getting the best stuff for cash so they can make cheesy equipment builds without any grinding. How many times the game was showing to me that it's high or even very high activity at mode I was currently looking for players in matchmaking but almost every time the waiting time was from around 2 to even 16 minutes! Yeah there was a couple times when I get joined in some game just after I clicked for the matchup but then I alwys get in the middle of the lost game where there's 1 or 2 teamamtes in my team and rest of are bots. The fighting machanics are broken. This crappy game just sometimes don't let you land some attacks or your parades EVEN THAT YOU CAN HEAR THE SOUND OF THE ATTACK HIT THE ENEMY OR YOUR PARADE HAS WORKED BUT THE YOU LOSE YOUR HP ANYWAY. I have no problems with ANY other games. Only Ubisoft can make such crappy and cancer games which is just made for trolls. Even singeplayer looks like it's made by a kid. For example samurais could be Feudal Japan.. is it that hard to make the game more trust worthy? Why I always have to skip 2 intros before entering the menu, why options are on F6 and not just listed in the normal menu? Many of bullsh*ts like this killed this game.     tried to play it. constant network connection problems and lag makes it unplayable. overall duell is boring, people push you down somewhere, great. dominion and deathmatch is all about 2x1 or 3x1 or 4x1 and connection problems. you want to join a game, 10 min of searching, no matchmaking, then during combat loading times, lag and as i mentioned git gud. great game, deinstalled it after 7 hours.

After downloading I spent the first 45 minutes to an hour getting dropped out of matchmaking. Did some research and found that many people are having the same problem. When contacting Ubisoft support they told me to disable windows defender and anti-virus. Are you kidding me? I already have to have open NAT which compromises security and know they tell me to disable my local firewall and anti-virus. Still, I wanted to play and went back into the game after disabling. Got into a match and got booted again after just a couple swings. Ended up figuring out you could not use a charge-and-play cable for Xbox 360 controller as that was detected as a "cheat". Finally got to play after disabling all the security on my computer and detaching charge and play cable. As far as gameplay goes, not worth all the problems that I had to deal with. When people get booted mid match may take a couple minutes to re-establish new server. Spent more time in matchmaking screen then I did in the game. As far as the single player goes, Ubisoft stated For Honor would feature a full single player campaign. It took me about 6 hours to complete and felt more like and advanced tutorial for the problematic multiplayer. I might re-visit the game and update my review after some patches, but as I post reviews based on what percent chance I would purchase the game with my knowledge after playing it for a day, I give it a big 0. No way I would buy this game in it's current state.… Expand

    I really wanted to like the game I would have forgiven the micro-transactions but the fact that a full game backed by ubisoft is using P2P in 2017 just confuses me.

    I cannot recommend this game for several reasons, the main reason being P2P multiplayer, its the cheap way to go and for a title like this not to have dedicated servers is a shame.
    Then add that Ubisoft is charging 59.99€ for the game, then 39.99€ for the season pass AND ON TOP OF THAT they add microtransactions to even milk this title some more.

    Many connection problems, too much: peer to peer is simple the wrong solution. Many cheaters (lag cheat, autoblocks), the anticheat doesn't work. The game should be great for the nice gameplay and the strategic fights, but it's impossible to compete normally. I spend my time waiting for the matchmaking and often the round stop for disconnecting. Unacceptable for a triple A.

    This game has the worst multiplayer experience from any game i have played.
    I'll even go far enough to say that I feel scammed. I tried to like this game. After 11 hours of constant disconnects. it's just not worth it. Hopefully something is done about this so it doesn't happen again. Maybe a new law being passed?

    It's feature-creep, in short, bloat orbiting an excellent core. In that regard, at least, For Honor is a Ubisoft game. [May 2017, p.112]

    I did have some issues with the game servers early on, but they seem to have been ironed out. And as mentioned, the voice acting and the story mode could have fleshed out a little better. But if you look past those issues, For Honor is a wonderful title. The variation in game modes makes sure that there is something for everyone, and the maps are rotated enough to keep things fresh. The character classes allow you to choose a play style that suits you, whether it is the strength of the Heavy or the speed of the Assassin class. And with controls that are so smooth and optimised, it never seems as though any class or enemy is overpowered. So, if you excuse me, I’m going to don my armour, collect my shield and blade, and head back out to the battlefield... my team needs me.
