    I've been kicked twice while searching for a game, woth a malus like i exited the match which is not true. The biggest issue is connexion and i think every gamer agree on this.
    Last but not least you just need to check how player level are, big levels from one side and low level from the other. I don't understand ubisoft logic here.     One of the few games that I refunded on Steam.
    Multiplayer oriented game of medieval combats, mostly duels.
    Trailers, intro videos, advertising, graphics are great...but gameplay, player interactions and combats aren't.
    Few things to do, looong grinding .... it wasn't fun for me.

    A unique game, with a simple aesthetic, it has all the balance you are looking for, and although it has lost realism over the years, it has improved in the multiplayer aspect, because now it is more fair and balanced, EASY TO LEARN, DIFFICULT TO MASTER

    Campaign history would be good, but otherwise a useless game. It's not even worth to play it's multiplayer game mode.

    После выхода в стим, эту парашу даже привязать к стиму нельзя. Чаво? Тем кто поставил 10/10 можете лицо обоссать, кроме графона и изначальной задумки, там нет ничего хорошего. Например - фана, соревновательности, кооперативности, геймплейной глубины и даже банального блять баланса команд в режимах со шмотьем. Найс.    … Expand

И если кому-то все таки важно мое мнение, то я бы предложил разработчикам полностью избавится от фракции рыцарей, именно она вносит самый большой дизбаланс в игру.… Expand

    The game is a complete flop. The single player campaign felt lackluster and the online modes are dead. The only good things about this game is the nice looking player models and the medieval themed combat. IMO this game is not worth a cent.

As a pretty good experienced player (about 650+ hours of a gameplay) i can say that this game is very unbalanced and broken. player with my long experience has no chance against some heroes in a match.     The campaing is nothing special. The game is mainly about multiplayer,which sucks.
    While playing breach pvp, 3 of my teammates left. I left too, because bots are bots. After leaving
    i got 25 min penalty. The system is not working, the game is not suitable in for multiplayer at all, because you will never go 1v1, unless you go for duels at which point you will get owned by cheesy combos.

    This game have great artstyle, good graphics and main idea and awfull realisation. Broken dlc characters, lack of balance and microlags destroys all urge to play this game again.

    No balance..... At all. It's a game where newcomer can do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Veterans with 140 lvl of reputation will bulldoze every newcomer. Matchmaking there about 5 minutes... And UbiS H I T of course added BATTLE PASS which you should buy for real money! Not for game currency. ubiS H I T felt lower than EA and Activision. RIP Ubisoft.

    Ubisoft has failed. Failed to make this game remotely appealing. The balance is atrocious. Over half the roster is a massive detriment to its own team. 30% of characters are playable. Some design decisions simply dont make sense. Characters that - based on their class (role) SHOULD be farming minion lane but absolutely lack all tools to do so. Health and damage numbers are completely random as if they threw darts at a board and just went with whatever rng came up with.

    Huge issues the game has never get addressed. Even if something eventually gets fixed it takes always at least 1 year.

    The last "DLC" character they released is BY FAR the worst character in the game. Think about what that says about the people who are still working on the game! They have absolutely no clue what they are doing! Its crazy. I really have never seen a game design team who utterly lacks absolutely all understanding of basic things in their own game.

    They continue to overpower characters which benefit them with money and neglect balance.
    The games mechanics are a joke with every patch they fix a visual glitch which nobody cared about while the game is rotting from the inside.
    This game frustrate me so much i have never been so emotional about a game while hating it so badly, even if you win you are not satisfied and you feel its cluncky and bad.
    Characters which deserve attention dont get it while the devs take in consideration the very god damn least requested thing and doing exactly the opposite of what the community wants.
    Its filled with soooooo many toxic players whicu try to get the devil out of you.
    A game which specifically requires a millisecond of reaction is running on 30fps on consoles making the animations half smooth, in addition of letting players with a stable ping above 100 to remain in the game.
    It takes me on average 10 minutes to find a server of 7 players in totall (me being the 8) and thats for the most popular game mode in the game (dominion) and my nat is always open, internet always good so connectivity is never an issue for me.
    If anybody is even reading this i am a totall rep 124 and i dislike this game in every way.
    And i am gonna avoid talking about the super crappy launch state it was at the beginning with p2p servers and getting kicked 7 out of 10 games.    … Expand

There are no dedicated servers that means you need to connect other players as in p2p connection and as a bonus Ddos is still a thing. You will get disconected a lot thanks to p2p connection and ddos attacks. I thought it can't be worse but I was wrong. It's been nearly 3Another attempt another Ubisoft failure.     Everything from the UI to the mechanics to the controls to the characters is toxic, which is why over 90% of players quit and the remaining players are extremely salty and annoyed. Want to switch targets fast to the guy next to you? Too bad, target switching is random, you get a random target.     Want to switch targets fast to the guy next to you? Too bad, target switching is random, you get a random target.

    Want to see the attacks and attack indicators in 4v4? Too bad, the game will splash flashy notifications all over the middle of your screen so you can't see ****

    Want your character to move where you tell it to? Too bad, right can be diagonal, diagonal can be back, and if your target moves your direction will move also.

    Want to block or parry in time? Too bad, there is a bug that will randomly make blocks not work and it's in the game since the beta, while parry timing keeps changing depending on the opponent's ping.

    Want your character to do what you tell it to do? Too bad, every hero has different mechanics. You can hit one person after a parry, but not the next, your input might get ignored by the game or get buffered for several seconds, to parry you need to heavy attack but often you just get a block and then a heavy attack later instead of a parry.

    If someone were to intentionally design the most infuriating game, the result would be For Honor.    … Expand

Тайминги ударов уменьшают. Игра начинает не удовольствие приносить, а ненависть вызывать. Такой игровой проект убили. Читеров море стало.Каждое обновление убивает игру. Sometimes there's premades who are trolling and leaving the matches in the beginning of the game, sometimes your teammates are hitting you to stop me from reviving another teamamte or if I'm dropping "fire" to enemys ram for no reason - just to trol and let people know how sh*tty this game is and that no one can do sh*t against them. How many times the game was showing to me that it's high or even very high activity at mode I was currently looking for players in matchmaking but almost every time the waiting time was from around 2 to even 16 minutes! Yeah there was a couple times when I get joined in some game just after I clicked for the matchup but then I alwys get in the middle of the lost game where there's 1 or 2 teamamtes in my team and rest of are bots. The fighting machanics are broken. This crappy game just sometimes don't let you land some attacks or your parades EVEN THAT YOU CAN HEAR THE SOUND OF THE ATTACK HIT THE ENEMY OR YOUR PARADE HAS WORKED BUT THE YOU LOSE YOUR HP ANYWAY. I have no problems with ANY other games. Only Ubisoft can make such crappy and cancer games which is just made for trolls. Even singeplayer looks like it's made by a kid. Some bull**** fantasy about the imagination of war which doesn't show almost anything more complicated than just... fighting. This game has 0/10 climate thanks to all those things I've said. One more thing. Thing game is unplayable with your friends. Sometimes you can join but it happens one, maybe two times in a week so forget about that this game will compensate all of it's bullsh*tery by letting you play it with your friends. It's a total failure in all kind of things. Soundtrack is sh*t sounds are hilarious and making me laugh. The outlook of heros - most likely women-like are incredibly funny. 60 cm in biceps as Valkyrie made me laugh for a few minutes. I had the same reaction when I saw a Shinobi in samurai fraction same as centurion in knights xD Couldn't they think for more than 1 minute about the anmes of the fractions? For example samurais could be Feudal Japan.. is it that hard to make the game more trust worthy? Why I always have to skip 2 intros before entering the menu, why options are on F6 and not just listed in the normal menu? Many of bullsh*ts like this killed this game. I won't recommend this game to anyone EVER becouse ubisoft will never change in being a good game maker. 0/10 and I would even give less than 0 if there's was an option.… Expand

    And to access the network game you need to pass the test in 5 rounds, the desire to play has disappeared at this stage.

    Maybe the console players find it bearable, but for an average PC player which got used to WASD controls, this lock-on system is pure torture. The matches don't make any sense and the controls remind me of Resident Evil 1 on PlayStation.
    2 hours passed since I uninstalled it, but I'm still in a deep shock and can't stop thinking how Ubisoft was able to release such an unbelievable crap.    … Expand

    How can you make a game about 100 milliseconds fast reactions in a multiplayer allowing players with a 100ms ping? I played this game now frequently over the years and cant believe I have wasted over 200 hours in this crap. I lost so many duells because my light attack got guard breaked. Not possible if both parties have a good connection. And the balance is so off.     The viking campaign is a step in the right direction, but feels bland and uninspired.

    Haven't played the samurai campaign, but i guess it is just like the others.

    Multiplayer:
    Every game (especially dominion) there is a part where you feel extra cool. Maybe you took on that enemy that kept killing you, or maybe you captured a point or whatever. But that cool feeling gets absolutely drowned by the absolute horse poop moments, like when your fighting someone, you're super close to winning the encounter, but they spring away, unscathed. Or take that same scenario, but then that persons teammates rush into battle, killing you like a bug on a shoe. Sometimes i am fighting a battle i know i cant win, so i back up. Then i get stabbed in the back, and those 2 enemies are throwing me back and forth, hitting me, and for a final hooray, chops my head clean off. Maybe it's just the fact that humans find bad stuff twice as punishing as good stuff rewarding, but every round 1 cool thing happens, and 4 bad stuff happens. And maybe that arises the"git gud", but i aced the knight campaign on hard.

    Unless you're getting it for free (starter edition weekend like me) or it's heavily reduced on price (No less than 50% off, being generous) it's not worth it.    … Expand

    The controls are extremely sluggish and frustrating, especially with Mouse & Keyboard. There are moves that are far more useful than others and can alone win you a fight.

    I've had many crashes, all for various reasons relating to the game.

    Advertising was outright lying around launch, selling it as a completely different game than what it is. Campaign is a glorified tutorial.

    Game would of had some potential had it came with dedicated servers. I gave it 2 because the combat system and graphics are good. I was fortunate to not buy this game before all my buddies did and all regretted it afterwards and could not get refunds avoid this game at all costs.

    It could have been a good game, all the pieces are there, but it's full of extra grind to encourage you to buy stuff in the in-game store. Don't support such practices unless you want all your games to suck like this.

    After a half of the year i came to this game adn what i see ? Still bad servers ,no balance and game punish you for not grinding stuff , if you go in 4 vs 4 you have like 50-80 armor , your enemy 100+ no balance in ,matchmaking , i just waste 60$ for 30 -50 hour thx ubi !

    Unbalanced higly priced junk. In season 2 Ubisoft destroys the game with 2 overpowered character.
    If you like to play these chars you can play instantly with SeasonPass for another 60 buks ... This is joke ... 4/5 matches the game disconnect because of the bad development ... In totally the game would be great .... BUT Ubisoft like more money than satisfied customers ..... DONT buy it ....

    The glaring issue though is dedicated P2P lobbies with 0 network filtering, security issues with the P2P set up. once you get past that though, it just a poorly executed game. the core system of 3 way attack/ defence could be good.     People seem to be warped on what the idea of skill is with this game and as of writing this githyp has the player base on PC down as 4113. peak at around 5k.
    The Latest class release has been handled terrible in my opinion, i under stand they want to drum up sales on the session pass and reward players that have bought it, but the new classes are locked off 100% to the people that haven't bought the pass. you are unable to even look at the characters main screen without be redirected to an in game store. this brings up the issue of i had no idea what the character move sets, skills or bonus passives were for the first day.
    I though i could just pop over to Bot training or solo free play were you can try out every class even even ones you don't own, the two new classes where completely locked out there as well.
    this seemed over the top to me. like what have they got to loose from me playing the new Premium Pre-release in an Offline solo training game?

    over all this just screams poor planning and not really thinking through have the game works and plays.

    I would say if you really like the look of the game jump on and try it out before ranked is released and makes the game lethal to the human body.    … Expand

    I try to love this game but it really lacks many things, p2p, no dedicated servers, steel is purchasable so its pay to win, unbalanced matchmaking, unbalance character, on hit ko skills, doesn't matter you have many attack move just spam,push and attack all day, cheesy push you off the map mechanic, the controls feels extremely clunky as well.     This game has the worst multiplayer experience from any game i have played.
    I'll even go far enough to say that I feel scammed. I tried to like this game. After 11 hours of constant disconnects. it's just not worth it. Hopefully something is done about this so it doesn't happen again. Maybe a new law being passed?

    Unplayable, buggy mess. Can't even join 2 of the 3 game types at all, and matchmaking is terrible if you ever DO manage to join a game - one team will be full of leveled-up veterans while the other is packed with bare-bones new players. Then once the game starts, expect constant interruptions from connection problems.

    I got the game for free and I still would not recommend it.

    For Honor is a game    Cheese: The Game. That is For Honor. Forget the fact the game doesnt actually function on a technical level for a moment. Sure, that makes it a 0 and well deserved, because a game this technically broken doesnt deserve a single cell and the creators deserve some serious financial repercussions. Forget all of that for a moment and let me tell you about For Honor.

    For Honor is a game with 12 characters, 4 of which are playable. The other 8 are for marketing purposes only. They can be selected and using your input device on them in game will make them move and even execute moves and it will feel as though they exist, but they dont. Why? Because the balance in this game is ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. For Honor is at its core a fighting game, akin to Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Those games generally end up the same way, only 1 or 2 characters are "top tier". These things generally are unavoidable, but are organic. Most fighting games end up with a "tier list" organically, birthed from the billions of hours that millions of players worldwide will put into the game, learning and mapping it all out. The developers rarely actually KNOW which characters that players are going to figure out interesting and powerful tactics for, they simply develop the roster around a core set of mechanics and design philosophies. In effect, most fighting games evolve and distill down naturally.

    For Honor was designed from the factory with a tier list in mind. And the way in which this game plays makes it absolutely hell if you decide you like one of the unplayable characters. If you REALLY want this game, you need to google for the "Best for honor characters" RIGHT NOW before you buy it, and decide if one of the 3 or 4 viable ones interest you. You see, the problem is that despite what you may be told by people who casually play the game, or what you might see on YouTube videos, For Honors combat is dog simple. It is built entirely around spam, and abuse. Each of the 4 playable characters are playable because they possess a handful (or even just a single) insanely powerful, easy to perform move or ability that renders the entire roster nothing but cannon fodder. Take the peacekeeper, the current top tier character (and without doubt she will be until the heat death of the universe, as she has been since closed beta and has been receiving BUFFS each patch). Her basic light attack is so fast that only 2 other characters have the block speed to block it. And if for some reason she falls under attack, or faces another PeaceKeeper she can dodge with such speed and distance that it renders her invulnerable until she decides otherwise. Forever. With 0 cost of risk or resource. She is unstoppable....

    Unless you pick one of the others, who have equally broken mechanics, and have had them for the entire run of the games playable(such as it is with the network issues) existence.

    Warden is nearly as fast, and can kill any character in 2 hits with single button moves and has unblockable chainable stunlock. This move takes 2 buttons.

    Warlord has unblockable stunlock that chains into unblockable stunlock and cannot be interrupted, as well as nearly 3x the the health of any other character. This move takes 2 buttons pressed at once.

    Orochi is even faster than PeaceKeeper and has even higher damage and the second longest range in the game, and can dodge-attack with unblockables with a stick input + 1 button.

    And those are the 4 characters that make up 85% of the matches online. Without fail, without change, it will be those 4 in whatever combinations every single match in every single game mode. If you pick anyone else, everyone on your team is going to moan and whine at you.

    I should also mention that EVERY SINGLE MAP IN THE GAME, IN EVERY MODE is built around removing combat from each encounter. You can throw people into pits in this game, it ends fights in seconds. There are pits everywhere. The games duel mode, which focuses on 1v1 balanced combat.... always takes place on a narrow bridge or a cliffside. Not just every other map, but literally the duel arenas are built around the pits. So most duels end up just being whoever can press the throw button first. Loading takes longer.

    In summary, For Honor is a haphazard comedy of disastrous design encapsulated in a beautifully rendered game that looks amazing in marketing shots and YouTube videos but has no depth or actual meat to the gameplay. Between the deliberately terrible balance, the lack of actual combat due to all maps designed around throwing each other off cliffs, to the fact the game hasn't actually been functional since release due to the networking architecture being so (well documented elsewhere and not the focus of this review) broken I feel safe in declaring this the worst high budget AAA release of 2017. Maybe ill be proven wrong later in the year, but i sincerely hope I dont end up buying whatever game out-craps For Honor    … Expand

    It took me a good 20 minutes to find my first match just to see 3 people teleporting all the time making it impossible to hit them,after being confused on why samurais could teleport,i searched abit about the game just to realise it had p2p servers making people USE lag to win This game COULD HAVE BEEN GOOD but they were too greedy. Shame on you.

But the servers on launch and for about 2 weeks after were absolutely awful as you lag like crazy at some points because of connection and you would just randomly crash out of games and the reason this was happening was probably because they were using peer to peer servers which is a terrible idea especially for a triple A game. The campaign, which was a surprise to be in the game which is very good as most multiplayer focused games don't even bother anymore, was decent as the story was lackluster and you didn't really have any connection with characters but there were some interesting mechanics like story feats and you could play as every faction throughout the story and play as most characters in the game to make you get a feel for them in the multiplayer.… Expand

    While the game is a 7 out of 10, the peer to peer, and the amount of grind you need to unlock all the "game" (2.5 years, or to pay >700$) shows how money hungry this company is, and completely ruins this game. Shame on you Ubisoft!

But without dedicated severs the game is laggy and its not uncommon to drop out of matches with your friends 2 or 3 times in an hour, which makes this game hard to stick with. With lag and unbalanced characters, there is a handful of characters that are easy to use and are overpowered. Players (including myself) often choose fast dodgy characters because they have an advantage over other players in a game like this because they are harder to block and hit with such lag. You will often hold a direction to block one of these players but find that the hit still go's through because of the delay, you will also find that if you do manage to get them close to death they just run away from you until they get an unfair team fight or find health. You will probably see a descend amount of people saying they don't know why people dislike this game but these players are the ones that play OP characters, I don't find a game fun when I just destroy the other team over and over not because I'm better but just because my character is better and has an advantage. Another unbalanced part of this game is revenge. I like and understand the concept of revenge because it makes fights balanced when you get teamed up on and its nice to get rewarded for things like blocks and dodges. But the problem is that that players get gear that rewards them for getting hit, many times I have been laying a beat down on someone only to have them get revenge 2 of 3 times in a single fight and kill me. I was clearly the more skilled player but because I gained no revenge and lost the fight. NO PLAYER SHOULD GET REWARDED FOR POOR PERFORMANCE and anyone that plays this game will for sure run into this problem. I would say I am pretty good at this game but I never feel good domination a team just because I have better gear or spam revenge. Again I love the idea of this games but its clear MANY corners have been cut and Ubi Soft seems to care less about how many players it has lost. Even to the point that they don't take complaints or suggestions, most company's will at least give you a place to say what they like or don't like even if they don't really listen or care. It seems that they release game after game tricking people with cool concepts and then abandoning the game, we pay a lot of money for these games and I feel we have the right to ask for a quality/finished product. We are making these guys rich so the least we can do is demand a solid game.… Expand

    Many connection problems, too much: peer to peer is simple the wrong solution. Many cheaters (lag cheat, autoblocks), the anticheat doesn't work. The game should be great for the nice gameplay and the strategic fights, but it's impossible to compete normally. I spend my time waiting for the matchmaking and often the round stop for disconnecting. Unacceptable for a triple A.

    Graphics, animations, and decorations are perfect. Great medieval atmosphere. Nice characters variety. BUT no fun playing glitchy unbalanced game.

    This is my first game review ever and I am doing this more to make sure this gets out there, which it seems like it already has. The game itself has amazing graphics, and awesomely original concept, and overall fun... when you can actually play. The matchmaking system is absolutely terrible. Try to join a game with very high activity, or so it tells me, and it will never find players.     I did have some issues with the game servers early on, but they seem to have been ironed out. And as mentioned, the voice acting and the story mode could have fleshed out a little better. But if you look past those issues, For Honor is a wonderful title. The variation in game modes makes sure that there is something for everyone, and the maps are rotated enough to keep things fresh. The character classes allow you to choose a play style that suits you, whether it is the strength of the Heavy or the speed of the Assassin class. And with controls that are so smooth and optimised, it never seems as though any class or enemy is overpowered. So, if you excuse me, I’m going to don my armour, collect my shield and blade, and head back out to the battlefield... my team needs me.
