    I got scared so much when I first played this game, The animatronics, characters and storyline is just impressively good. Their jumpscares are insanely realistic, the gameplay is very challenging and fun. It's been; 9 years now and this game is still amazing.

    Un muy buen juego que le dió inovación a su época, en vez de poner sangre a lo loco como el juego "amnesia" este solo pone sustos a lo loco, el ambiente es GOD. Lo único malo que voy a resaltar es algunos jumpscares como el de Foxy y Golden Freddy. El de Foxy parece que te diga "Hola Bro :D" y el jumpscare de Golden Freddy es solo una imagen con sonido, y nada más. Pero el juego es excelente.

    The game brings me memories to the good old days of Youtube when watching Markiplier play it on his videos. Good times that I will never forget and I am thankful to Scott Cawthon for creating a masterpiece franchise that still lives up to today!

    Legendary game! It's like everyone played it, and I was still a child and the sight of Freddy scared me.
    But finally I got my hands on this masterpiece. The game may not be scary these days, but the ants still are.

    I've played FNaF right after FNaF 2. Apart from it's legendary status, I was expecting some form of a decline in quality because of it's older age. Eventually, I was very pleasantly surprised.

    - Gameplay: 7/10 What makes this gameplay more engaging than FNaF 2s?     What makes this gameplay more engaging than FNaF 2s? My theory is that, because of the power system, which is actually way more challenging now, the game has to be played with caution. You can't just spam endless patterns because you will simply run out of power before you reach 6AM. overall, it's simple interface together with it's simple mouse controls make this game very pleasant to play. FNaF requires fast reflexes together with intelligent gameplay. I have to admit that the game however is not very difficult for the first 3-4 nights. I don't know if this is a result of the countless hours gameplay that I watched before playing it, or because of the difficulty of the game itself. The option of an extra night + 20/20/20/20 makes it much more fun in my opinion

    - Atmosphere: 9/10
    FNaF is the definition of chilling. The fact that the kitchen cam is completely blacked-out (which was done to give the player some chance for imagination) is a small but fun detail. It's a dark and grimy office, in which you cannot move. This results in even more of a scaring factor, because it's in most peoples instinct to run away from things that threaten them. The fact that they now have to now face their fears makes it very confronting.

    - Jump-scares: 7/10
    The jump-scares are overall way better than in FNaF 2s. They are more unpredictable and they have more animation. They do lose their scare after a while, but together with it's atmosphere, it still makes you want to avoid they at all cost.

    - Sounddesign: 7/10
    The sounddesign is pretty simple but effective. Hearing the animatronics walk, the kitchen noise, the slight noise of the fan, and the overall jump-scare sounds are well made, but they once again lose their fright after a little while

    - Lore: 6/10
    The lore in FNaF is pretty simple in comparison to the following games. we hear about future events, like the bite of '87 which makes for some cool teasers. Also part of the lore being written on the wall is a nice addition.

    - Innovation: 8/10
    Scott created a whole series from this game as an independent game developer. This game haas influenced a lot of other games after it, of which it's still one of the best.

    - Replay-ability: 9/10
    You can play this game for hours and hours. With the addition of the extra night and the 20/20/20/20 mode, its fun but it will also last you a little while before completely finishing the game. Even if you do finish it, it can always be replayed later because of it's RNG-factor

    - Price: 9/10
    This game is such a steal for only €3,99!

    CONCLUSION: The first FNAF is equal to FNAF 2 but at the same time totally different. The gameplay is enjoyable, even tho it's pretty simplistic. This horror game is a base for many others to build upon. If you have some spare money, I would really encourage you to buy this.    … Expand

    It is for me one of the best horror games the mechanics are very simple but as each game progresses it gives you the feeling that you must become faster this is not a jumpscares simulator

Being in the at office with ambient noise going off in the background is a truly terrifying experience. The first few nights are terrifying as you fight to survive the possessed robots after you, the last few nights though begin to get more frustrating. By that point you are numb to all the horrors of the game and more often than not you are just going to get frustrated not scared. This doesn't take away from the game though, the lore of this game is also immaculate. It connects well with the rest of the games in the franchise. If you are looking for an intriguing and terrifying game then Five Nights At Freddy's is for you.… Expand

It's dark but friendly in a way too with the animatronics designs and the music.     Bütün FNAF oyunlarına tekrar başladım, kesinlikle söyleyebilirim ki, oyun ilk oyun olmasından dolayı diğer fnaf oyunlarına göre çok daha basit yapılı. Özellik az, karakter az, gizem az, korku az. Ama bana yaşattığı acayip güzel nostalji hissinden dolayı bu oyuna yüksek vereceğim. Objektif olarak bakacak olursak 10 üzerinden 7-8 lik bir oyun. Öneririm.

    The game itself is scary, especially when you are wearing headphones. However, when you discovered the pattern, it will become easy. The game is jumpscare-reliability, and it's making me on the edge of my seat just by managing the power system and mainly the mechanics of this game. Yes, the mechanics. This game's mechanics is what fascinate me, it is the reason why you feel scared.

    However, the game repeats itself a lot, especially after the fourth night. You don't need to play a game except for the first game of the series. Because they are the same as ubisoft games.

    This game will always be amazing and original. My only problems are how long the nights are and the difficulty. The difficulty drastically changed from way too easy to way too hard. Otherwise an amazing game.

    fnaf 1 sin tener personajes que a simple vista den miedo genera una tensión en el jugador muy inquietante. con este juego empezó y por eso la historia casi no hay excepto algunas cosas. aunque hay cosas raras que las puertas cuando están bajas consuman energía y cuando estar arriba no cuando debería ser alrevez :/. aunque Scott dijo que es porque es un juego xd

I've spent around 3 hours playing this game and I think it's pretty good if you want a quick scare. They're are definitely better games out there, but this one isn't too shabby. It's just the perfect amount of scary to make you startled for a bit, but you feel normal and have forgotten about the scariness of it a few minutes later. I play this game when I'm bored. The difficulty of it increases quickly, but if you can't get passed the 2nd or 3rd night on your 1st try, you probably aren't good at this game. Most of these reviews complain about the difficulty, but it's not that difficult until night 4. It's your average "horror" game.… Expand

    FNAF IS AN EXTREMELY AWESOME GAME, It’s a new horror genre created, I love the story and I love this game And how confusing it is. It’s challenging and the graphics are how they are supposed to be :)

    I used to love Five Nights at Freddy's a little too much when I was around 5-6 years younger, so when I saw that the first four games were available on Xbox Game Pass, I decided to give the series a try. The first installment in the series is honestly still about as good as I remember. I also remembered that I am awful with horror games, so I was in for a ride. The jumpscares still do get me, but me remembering how Freddy and Foxy work (for the most part at least), I was able to keep them away for all 6 of the nights. I definitely may have gotten lucky, but I still felt as if it was odd that the main animatronic, Freddy, was never actually a threat to me. However, I must say that I still love playing this game and I plan to finish playing 2-4 as well (maybe not 4 though that may be too much for me, and I was never too big of a fan of its style of gameplay).… Expand

    For its time, this game is one of the scariest games of all time. The story is complex and well written, the presentation is flat, but that what makes it so great for the game's spirit. This is one of the greatest horror games of all time, and I say that you MUST play it. I cannot recommend this enough.

    Masterpiece. Best new gen horror, simple but recolutionary, with the most complicated and interesting plot I've ever seen. This is a must, and of course, if you play this, you have to go on with the other chapters.

    Um jogo fantástico, que seria apenas um jogo indie qualquer, mas acabou se tornando um dos mais mais famosos até então. Trouxe uma história enigmática, que deixou os jogadores muito confusos para saber o que se passava diante daquela pizzaria, além do jogo trazer uma ambientação sombria e misteriosa.

    La verdad despues de tantos años lo sigo disfrutando como la primera vez, podra tener sus problemas como lo de la pantalla o en android ser distinto (hasta hace poco que colocaron su remaster y se ve como en pc o mejor!) La verdad un juegaso, ver los animatronicos originales, escuchar al hombre del teléfono (para mi un protagonista la verdad) lo hermoso de la    Bueno, el inicio de todo.

    basically, what started the fnaf franchises kickstart into the world of video games but honestly looking back at the game after all these years it's more boring than I remembered. It still holds a special place in my heart tho.

    Five Nights at Freddy´s is an independent horror game that uses tension as the main element, at first glance it seems like a childish game that is not scary, but the tension and the environment that contrasts with the friendly appearance of the animatronics generates a lot Terror, the fear of lighting the hallways and seeing a robot or seeing someone on the cameras near us is very terrifying. FNaF is a game with simple but functional mechanics, an impressive tension generation capacity, the excellent use of sounds and an innocent environment, it is a very good game, it makes mistakes, it is not perfect, it is too simple and short (but intense ), it has small errors and must be polished a lot.
    The end is simple we are fired by odor and manipulation of animatronics which confirms that we are Michael Afton the son of the Purple Man.

Graphics are really realistic sometimes, and lighting is great, although the game is limited by the engine. Due to this, it lacks an options menu and many other features like resolution scaling (which could be an issue) and volume configuration. I want to remind some people that this game was made by a single developer. For the effort he put into this game, he truly deserves the positive response he got with this. This game also made him have a comeback, as Chipper and sons didn't do so well...

    Five Nights at Freddy’s presents an interesting concept to the player, and tries a different approach to the genre other than the usual asylum, graveyard and ghost town. Even the gameplay has something to say, but after the first minutes, once understood the mechanism, is hard to find a real interest in continuing playing.

    Five Nights at Freddy's, even without both the third dimension and high production values in general, is really scary. It is a little horror game which will scare you with both its original idea and its implementation, proving there may be always a new approach in any genre.
