Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is an excellent addition to the FNAF timeline, and also introduces a new approach to the title without feeling repetitive. New characters and terrors await each new player, and you don't need background knowledge to enjoy the game straight off the bat. Not only will you love this game, but you'll also for sure acquire some new nightmare fuel along the way.

While offering a lot more varied content from previous installments, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is unfortunately riddled with a myriad of technical and design issues. As a result, it’s a title I can only recommend to hardcore series fans and survival horror fanatics after most of its issues have been fixed.

Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach is the newest addition to the fans' favourite indie survival horror series and although it expands its ideas into 3D space marvellously, due to its performance issues it delivers an undercooked pizza experience.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is not a game that revolutionizes survival horror. By taking up the codes of the genre without particularly original ideas, the title is intended above all for fans of the franchise who wish to learn more and more about this horrific universe filled with animatronics and secrets. Unfortunately, the many bugs, the technical issues, the lack of finish and the rather too visible tricks used by the developers to scare people make the experience difficult for others. It is nonetheless a classic horror game with some interesting sequences that will be able to please survival-horror lovers who lack titles to be consumed.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach tries to convince with his new gameplay mechanics but doesn't achieve this in the most parts. The only really horrible things are the bugs and the game could be so much better with more development time.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. To start off you should definitely avoid bias reviews of this game. The FNAF fanbase is notorious for being a loyal lap dog to FNAF to the point that when anything is released it will be met with praise. Even FNAF world a lazy and rushed RPG was met with "Overwhelming Positive" reviews on (release)Steam despite the creator themselves admitting to it's shallowness on 2 occasions. It's the same here. Countless reviews on Steam recommending the game despite having half an hour on the game, so whilst this game will seem great based on reviews...it's just FNAF fans eating it up.

In terms of the game let's make it quick. Stealth is shallow, it tells you when you are in the clear and is easy to execute. Lazy designed and incredibly rushed. There isn't depth of challenge.

In terms of core gameplay, it's just simple run away mechanics from most enemies in most areas, which the enemies themselves conviently teleport across the Pizzaplex when you enter most new areas. This worked in previous games as you never saw them move but now that they do it makes you wonder "how do they follow me so quickly?".

Some parts are good like the weeping endos but they are short lived.

In terms of story it treads old ground that was already finished. FNAF 6's story was finished but it was retreaded just to have a lazy designed Afton boss fight.

Vanny, not even going to talk about. Barely in the game and barely a Villian which would be fine if she wasn't hyped up as th e new Afton.

Really bad and nothing new. Not to mention the awful optimizations.

I do not recommend buying it. I'm Sad that Scott Cawthon left and gave a random studio to control this franchise & make new FNAF games, which in reality they are ruining this franchise (also most People who are making Fnaf p*rn). The story, while not bad, has plenty of plot holes, the game play is just, 'go to this switch' or 'grab this item before it's too late', there's only one actual boss fight (the rest are just cutscenes), the art style doesn't fit with the other games in the series, dialogue that makes no sense (and to make it worse, 80 percent of the dialogue doesn't match on what the subtitles are saying), unstable performance, glitches and model clipping to behold, making Five Night's at Freddy's Pizza Simulator (aka FNAF 6) story and the entire point of the game obsolete, hyping up the new villains, Vanny/Vanessa when they in the game for like 3 minutes and don't serve a vital role in the plot or gameplay, among many more issues.

This game (and every game since FNAF Help Wanted) has been a disaster and only released to make money and lure the nostalgic fans with non sensible stories, events, DLC, and this game is the breaking point of this disaster. Scott should have stopped with Fnaf 6 as the true ending of this franchise (and to make matters worse, this game was delayed TWICE and it STILL feels like it was made in the last minute and that's on top of all the disaster releases of this year including Call of Duty Vanguard, Sonic Colors Ultimate (which I already reviewed), Zelda Skyward Sword HD, GTA Definitive Edition, Battlefield 2042 and many more).

I hope this franchise may finally rest with this game. A pitiful 2 out of 10 from me.
