FIFA 14 is the reassuring central-defensive midfielder of the series. Dependable, rather than revelatory. Physical, tenacious and tight on space. It does the job without fuss, but also lacks flair.

The graphics are nowhere near the console version, overall it feels like im playing a 2008 game. Yes i know, graphic isnt everything, but personally i enjoy a realistic looking football game rather than this piece of old technology.

Overall, this feels like a minor update compared to Fifa 2013.

Against AI and online is simply pointless... well I can understand why young people (10-15) might enjoy this shallow piss of a game because they aren't usually very demanding. I was like that myself, we all were more or less.

Anyway, football games are in a sad state compared to other sports games.. maybe football is simply too complex to emulate or maybe the game companies doesn't really try. Either way... the result is bad.
