Jan 24, 2019Make no mistake: while it certainly doesn’t redefine the genre, Feudal Alloy is an incredibly strong second title from Attu Games. It abides by genre conventions with a style that is all its own, nearly flawless gameplay, and an injection of strategy sorely missing from most Metroidvanias. One of 2019’s first strong indie titles.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Apr 4, 2019Feudal Alloy is a great game, but at the same time a weaker hybrid between Metroid and Castlevania. Just its rare visuals and fairy-steampunk world deserve your attention. [Issue#293]

Feb 8, 2019Funny, stylish and engaging. Feudal Alloy is an original Metroidvania that will put to the test your love for the genre.

Jan 25, 2019A robotic medieval knight and dungeons full of gold? An irresistible combination. This weird platformer is pleasant to look at and fun to play, even though it’s a bit rusty around the edges.
-
Jan 21, 2019Feudal Alloy is a strange metroidvania, made by robot, goldfishes and with a unique Middle Age style.
-
Jan 19, 2019Feudal Alloy is a good metroidvania that simply works. The genre has evolved so much lately that this title ends up being overshadowed by many others.

Jan 17, 2019I’m hopeful for Feudal Alloy. The style and mechanics are there, it just aches for a rebalancing of the introductory portion of the game. This is absolutely doable. And when it happens, it’ll be an unconditional recommendation. That doesn’t mean you should give it a miss now – just prepare yourself for a rocky start.
