If you want a simplistic adventure that you’ll remember for all the right reasons, then Feudal Alloy on Xbox One is the way to go. It isn’t perfect, but it is a fun experience; with super simple controls, smooth and fluid gameplay and a story we can all get behind, there’s no reason not to love Attu’s adventure.

Feudal Alloy like many games released on PC prior to the Xbox One and I had previous experience with it prior to enjoying it on console. Feudal Alloy does suffer with a few issues here and there, but nothing worth noting other than the high level of difficulty for newcomers. Once past the difficulty at the start you gain more comfort and then you’re introduced to a metroidvania genre game that has action elements mixed in. This formula has been executed really well and the combat is also very enjoyable as well. Exploring the map always makes you feel like a child at a birthday party because there always seems to be an item or secret I to come across. Exploring also throws up a decent variety of enemies and it also lets you enjoy the game’s fantastic art style and solid sound design. Feudal Alloy is a quite a decent game that features enough enjoyable segments and action to keep things fresh on your somewhat short journey. If you’re a fan of the metroidvania genre then I'd say it's an easy decision to add it to your Xbox One library. Expand
