Jan 18, 2015F.E.A.R Perseus Mandate
So underrated game !!!
I enjoy this expansion more than F.E.A.R vanila.
Pros:
+great level design. Best so far. I haven't play FEAR 2 and 3 yet.
+new weapons
+great graphic. Evan for today standards. No blur, bloom, HDR to cover imperfections. Great textures.
+it has more feeling than FEAR + EP
Cons:
- few enemy types. -

CoxDec 27, 2007I was happy with this game, it did seem to not be as well made as the other two games. The AI at times is laughable. The story how ever is the strongest in this game of the entire series. If you loved FEAR you will love this as well. If you have never played FEAR before, you probably should look elsewhere for a FPS.

RoshanThilakarathneMay 20, 2008I know critics have blasted this one.I think this is a solid shooter. Why they have critisized?Because most of them have played only first two levels which are I admit terrible.but form level three it regains real FEAR type.and those are real fun.grafic design is a bit repititive at first two levels.

ThisisSpartaSep 17, 2009It's mostly more of the same, but that's certainly not a bad thing. A very solid shooter that delivers on the scares and satisfying gun-play. Graphics are somewhat dated, but the game doesn't really suffer from it, and the bullet-time effects and blood splatter still look great. The story is engaging and is a worthy expansion to the FEAR universe. As stated, great value for money.

TimD.Nov 25, 2007Nat a terrible game; just more of the same. grant you, if the AI was more advanced, it would be great, but w/e. If you like the first one but felt it was to short, then this is a great filler.

KasjanN.Mar 21, 2008Terrible game! If you loved FEAR you must go to the shop. If you don't love FEAR.

Mar 20, 2015F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is a stand-alone expansion for horror game FEAR. The game takes place during the first FEAR, in which a special band member side FEAR , Is sent to investigate the Armacham Perseus Project.Gameplay is slightly improved, bringing the first "partners" to help you during battle. The graphics seem a little outdated for 2007.

RayF.Feb 25, 2008This game seems like an amateur developed FEAR mod for a lot of it. It looks worse then the original game, which came out in 2005, and is a total rip off at $30. The multiplayer is more or less the same as FEAR and FEAR combat, except less people are playing. All in all the game is pretty poor and very boring.

May 5, 2016Pathetic, boring, cheated enemies with fight scenes without any fun. If you like FEAR and good balanced game, this is just a try how to do something else, but bad way.

Aug 20, 2018It's a gme for people, who really likes original shooter gameplay of F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is really great DLC of brilliant first person shooter!
-
Apr 28, 2020The F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate game is still playable on 2020 at Windows 10 after FPS fix applied. There is also fix for a too small subtitles on high resolutions, so... have fun after 13 years from the game's premiere :).

Apr 3, 2018Horror component is not what I needed. But Action is fine. The best even to date. If you're into action then PM is the best of F1 series.
-
May 19, 2023Another boring installment.
Pros.:
- Nice AI and shoot outs.
- For that time, it was a superb graphics and physics. Lights.
- Characters are fine.
Cons.:
- Story. Another nonsense.
- Characters are wasted - killed to quick with barely developed empathy to them.
- It's just boring - same thing over and over. -

Apr 13, 2023It is not clear what it is and why it was created? This add-on can be safely skipped because there is nothing of value in it.

Jun 13, 2023F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate builds upon the franchise's strengths with improved level design, fresh enemies, and engaging gameplay mechanics + a noticeable difficulty increase.

Unfortunately, the new enemies aren't that much different from the original ones, and the additional weapons don't add much to the game. Veteran players will have a persistent "been there, done that" feeling throughout the adventure, while newcomers may feel a little lost, since Perseus Mandate makes so many direct references to the previous games.
-
We’ll make this easy. If you’re a fan of F.E.A.R. and have just been looking for more of the same firefights with a couple of new weapons and enemies, then you’re probably going to find Perseus Mandate fun. If you’re looking for something new or compelling and some flahy sound or visuals, don’t bother.
-
F.E.A.R. doesn't deliver this time around, the looks are fading and the sounds aren't at all new and fresh.
