    Игра отлична. Главный квсет средний. Дополнительные квесты отличны. Дополнения отличные.
    Главный минус это баги. Часть времени от прохождении заняло это понимание чего хочет игра.

    One of the best dialogues and story. Feels like an adult games, not a story for kids where everything is explained and told. A lot of context to every quest and character.
    However, graphics are bad and shooting is terrible.
    Also this game was the best DLCs with amazing story connect with the Fallout lore. (personally, I find DLCs more interesting than the main game)

    Fallout New Vegas was a bit of a mess on initial launch. I ran off a disk version of the game on review in a non internet setting. After a good feel and level in the game. i quit out and enabled internet, patched up everything, and relaunched. Most if not all bugs have been fixed. I ran the game from the ladder. It was amazing, the story was rich, the choice was dynamic and amazing, theFallout New Vegas was a bit of a mess on initial launch. It was amazing, the story was rich, the choice was dynamic and amazing, the assortment of weapons to the amount of ammo was a great ratio. Barter was set perfectly. And the over all main story kept me wanting more, even in the end. The side stories where interesting. Helping communities and factions played an important role later in the story line. The DLCs are deep in narrative and what i like to call "Wet Story" (not dry story, heh.). The story is always something unique, something interesting, something that you can effect and change. The gun play is a bit on the low side. Though, this engine wasnt designed for it. But that isnt this Developers fault.

    I loved this games dynamics in story and RPG. the return of the Traits. and the better use of skills and survival system. Customization and ammo types where a grate idea. The return of a mutant friend. And the backstory linking him around. The backstory on several characters where very very nice nostalgia trips. Even if you didnt play the classics, the game still had good backstories to each character. Even standard enemies that didnt need backstories, got atleast something explaining what they where doing there and what lead to it.

    Fallout is a title and a series that i loved. i am in the No Mutants Allowed camp.
    I grew up on Fallout, learned morals and what to say from Fallout 2, and tactical and reasoning to conflicts and decision making from Fallout Tactics.
    I played over 600h on Fallout 3. and have reached over 1000h of Fallout New Vegas.
    Wish i could say the same for Fallout 4. i have only played a total of 423 hours of Fallout 4.

    Lets all hope Fallout, the game that wiped out america, gets better down the line. its 2 latest titles dont seam to give us what Fallout is.

    My rating? 10/10.
    Pre-bug fix? about an 8/10. But we can blame a specific other company that actually owns the title right now, for not providing enough QA Testers.    … Expand

    This is in my top 5 games of all time. I would give it a 9 because no game is perfect but because this is one of my favorites I'll give it a 10, if there is one post-Fallout 2 Fallout game that deserves it it is New Vegas.

    Things I did on my summer vacation:
    - just wandered around looking for something to do
    - made friends with strangers and had them shoot my enemies
    - stumbled across a deathclaw and lived to tell about it
    - stumbled across some cazadores and didn't
    - fought a giant mechanical scorpion to get my brain back
    - drank from countless radioactive toilets

    Now im not that in love with New Vegas as it seems every other Fallout ''Fan'' is but im just going to say this game is absolutely amazing. Thing is its a badly optimized piece of buggy garbage which makes it hard to get into but hey still giving it a 10.

    However there was a large number of bugs when FNV came out ranging from player characters arms blocking the screen when sneaking, broken quests and crashes, although story & gameplay is just strong enough to get us to forgive the buggy launch state and once the patches rolled out we were left with truly one of the best games of 2010. if you factor in 2-3 good/great pieces of DLC (less said about Lonesome road the better) and you have a great GOTY edition of a game to play.    … Expand

    Honestly it is a decent game, the characters and setting are amazing and it is an all round fun time. I found the DLC's a bit disappointing but the main game is great.

    It was made in a year and a half! The work that Obsidian put to the game is amazing! Of course, it uses the same engine as Fallout 3, but the atmosphere is very different. Probably the thing that changes the most is the player's options, roleplay and rpg elements, there's hours and hours of quests, dialogue and fun stuff. I would really recommend the game to someone that has already played the original games, New vegas is super inspired by them. It's definitely a game that you should check out. Of course, the game has issues and bugs, but to be honest, they don't really destroy the immersion or anything, it's only a problem when it comes to bugs or glitches in the main quests. The game crashing is also an issue but if you don't use much mods you will probably experience little of them. Gameplay is not bad, in the start of the game it is a problem because the weapon shakes a lot (You need to upgrade your weapons skill to shoot straight) Though, the combat is still very cool. The animations are everything you should expect from an rpg, nothing really impressive but again, they don't ruin immersion, not for me at least. But what does DESTROYS the immersion in the game are the invisible walls. They were a minor problem in Fallout 3 but here you will encounter them EVERYWHERE is ridiculous how you can't jump a 2-feet rock because of an invisible wall, specially because sometimes you need to climb stuff for gameplay mechanics, what if you want to climb to that mountain to snipe enemies? NO you can't because there's an invisible wall blocking the way. If you are trying to put one of these invisible walls in a giant mountain just so the player doesn't glitches, that's ok, but sometimes is just plain ridiculous. Now talking about the DLCS : They are not really that surprising, while they do tell backstory of characters and places, and interesting stuff, they are not really that great, they are usually repetitive, dull and sometimes even frustrating. Some enemies from the dlcs are just bullet sponges, or maybe the game adds a new mechanic that seems nice, but very often glitches or doesn't work. Probably the worst thing that some of the dlcs do is remove all of the players's weapons, which is annoying because sometimes it doesn't make any sense to remove player's weapons (especially in dead money) I guess you can say that they add a little something to the game, probably the best things are the weapons you can get, but aside from that they are not really that great or memorable. BUT what i reviewed was pretty much the game itself. It's not bad, it's fun, i have completed it... I don't know, 4 times? It's super fun, even more when adding mods to the formula...     This game is nothing more than a masterpiece, beyond brilliant. I have 56 hours on steam and far more on xbox and i have loved every second of the game.

    This is the best Fallout game that exists currently in my opinion. Out of all the Fallout games this does the best at being an RPG where your choices are influenced by your skills and there is always more than a few ways to complete a quest that even after the game came out 10 years ago I still sometimes find choices I didn't know about.

    Played this game on PS3 when it first came out then got it on PC a few years later when I built my first PC and it still remains one of my all time favorite games. With over 50,000 mods on the nexus this game has more than enough extra content to keep you going for years like it has for me.

    Make an effort to at least try this game if you are someone who likes RPGs or you will miss out on an experience that many games even today fail to emulate.    … Expand

    An absolute classic of a game, especially compared to the modern Fallout games. Although you could not exceed 4gb of ram in the pc version, you can easily fix this with a mod.     After Playing the game with all the dlc and bug fixes, this game has brought back Fallout's identity of a post apocalyptic America and those struggles of the player to make sense of it, and it does, by giving you the choices Bethesda's Fallout's were not able to deliver

    Would be hard-pushed to name a more consistent and replayable game for me. I revisit it all of the time and have a great time idly playing through it on PC while I have important stuff to do now that I'm older and sh*t. Picks up and *knows* intimately the RPG elements that the original games were known for in a way that Bethesda's titles just don't even come close to. If you share this opinion, it means that you were either dramatically mistaken in the genre, or you didn’t even try to take advantage of the charms of an authentic RPG and create an authentic character. 2008 was generous with the sequels, and if you look closely, you can see that more than others succeeded those who were extremely careful about their own canons and heritage. In the case of Fallout, New Vegas became such a continuation, but by the time of release it was overtaken by the fate typical of Obsidian releases. The nuclear potential was drowned in technical problems and bugs, but today and now, when these complaints have long been exhausted, we have the peremptorily best Fallout of the 21st century and one of the best RPGs of all time.     The gameplay isn't much different from Fallout 3, but given the amount of time Obsidian had to work on New Vegas, it's a huge improvement, specially story-wise. This game has a rich and well branched story. It's DLC's are also real gems.

    The only one thing i didn't like in this game is poor FPS component. I know RPG component is pretty important, but damn what if i want to shoot up some raiders or like that. The game doesn't fully allow you to play some kind of non-pacifist character cause shooting is bad enough.

    Finished the game only from second attempt, which tells how slow is the story told. Interesting characters, some curious quests, enough role-playing in choices and customization. Cumbersome inventory management, frequent travelling, long empty roads, short play-list. Enjoyed this game though it has serious flaws. 8/10

    This game is not without its issue because this thing is running on the Gamebryo. The story and character development in this game very well done. Of course, Bethesda didn't give Obsidian another chance coz they know they are gonna knock it out of the park because the game didn't get the score BGS set for. Obsidian, I am waiting for a new Fallout game from you guys.

    New Vegas is a territory rich in history and characters. The gameplay is a mix of FPS and RPG, although it sometimes falters, it doesn't disappoint and keeps the missions with a certain difficulty, always calling you to think strategically about your resources and where you stand.

    And above all, I loved the space it gives you to role-play and customize your character, creating more than one way to solve the problems that come your way.

There are bugs that I would like to say, but there were such bugs in both Fallout 3 and TES:Oblivion. I don’t see any cons from the side of the plot, gameplay, graphics, since this is not their engine, the plot is spelled out as it shouldA game that you can get into for a long time.     This is truly an amazing game in terms of overall content and narrative but I have to say that the gameplay is outdated even by the time it was released I must recommend this to anybody

    Fallout: New Vegas is a flawed masterpiece. The graphics were dated even for 2010 (when the title released) and some technical issues still remain. However, everything else about this game is excellent - you should give it a try!

    Great game. The world is really cool Ton of interesting side quests and the main story is great. Combat is decent but lacking. It doesn't have as many amazing stand out moments as Fallout 3 but overall it's more consistent which makes it better to me.

Dread is a good word for this game in general, plus the Fallout games before it. They are honestly very scary - sometimes passively by the player never knowing what danger may lay around the corner, able to severely damage them or kill them, and most importantly the sheer trepidation and horror created by the atmosphere, scenery depicting a future of a world in ruins after nuclear destruction, and so on; and other times aggressively with sudden movements, obviously contributing to the frequent trepidation that moves up your spine.

    I don't mind this game I like it but I like fallout 3 way more I have way better memories in fallout 3 I have good memories from this game but I have better ones in fallout 3 the expansions are good the mods are also good but the map is too small the weapons feel good and they are better than fallout 3 but fallout 3 in my opinion is just better in most ways

My only main gripe about this game would be the bugs, bug city, the PC version runs the best of the 3, with the PS3 version being a miserable mess of an amazing game. Many of the bugs in this game have never been fixed, and can only be remedied through mods. Thankfully, this game has the best modding communityIn my opinion the best RPG ever made.     Probably my most played game of all time. It has its issues, but it remains a solid rpg, with great writing, a rich world and a plethora of options both in game, and in mods to enrich your experience.
    It has dated quite a lot over the years, but it still has a special place in my heart.

    Лучший 3д фолач созданный osidian,огромный живой мир, великолепные интересные квесты, последний фолаут где спешиал и перки что то значат. Обсидиан создала идеальный фолаут, очень жаль что бесезда не доверила им 4 часть

    The old Obsidian( before the SJWs took over) shows to Bethesda how to make a great game.
    The only weakness is the terrible Bethesda engine, everything else is top quality.
    A must play.

I’m talking not only about many variants of completing the game, I’m talking about ways of playing: from being peaceful eloquent savior to a daredevil that murders everyone and everything that can be murdered (or being drunk addicted, cause it is a game, why not lol). Fallout: New Vegas, unfortunately, has some minuses. Graphics is lower than in Fallout 3 but more than acceptable, though. Obsidian needed more time to polish the game, it has some bugs but like with graphics it’s acceptable but unlike the graphics it’s not more than it. So, what do we have? A brilliant game of brilliant developers. Minuses don’t matter in this case. But, personally me, wouldn’t enjoyed this game if I were 13 because I liked different types of games and it was normal for this age.     I must have played through this game about five times now. As a big fan of the Fallout series (for the most part), New Vegas is the one I go back to the most. Its RPG elements are the most focused upon out of the newer games, and its writing is what you'd expect from Obsidian: A+. I'd give this a 9.5 rounded up to a perfect 10.

Get on their good side, as it's up to you with what you do, if you get the game on PC make sure to mod it if you dont want to encounter alot of bugs and with the DLC, it's a smorgasbord of goodness

    This was one of my first PC games I ever completed so I have kind of relationship with this game. I really loved the story and how you have choices in this game and getting cool armors and getting better at combat feels satisfying. And by the way if you want to 100 % this game be prepared to play for at least 200 hours, yup. This game is looong! Have fun!

    The RPG elements was very strong you can decide whatever story will go.

    Fallout: New Vegas can pretty much be summed as a miracle final    If you knew this game's developing story, with limited budget, tight schedule and the obligatory use of an ancient and flawed engine (more so for a game from 2010); and did not knew about its critically acclaimed reviews from critics in general, you would be pretty skeptical about its potentials, and you would be right.

    Fallout: New Vegas can pretty much be summed as a miracle final product, it had everything to be a bad game, but the hard work and love for the franchise from developers made it not only the best game of the franchise overall, but one of the best RPGs from the 2010's.

    I will not elaborate about the whole developing cycle and problems this game had during its production, you can read more about it in other reviews here or even in other places if you look for it. Basically Obsidian was in a pretty bad spot in the making of the game, and they were rushed to finish the whole product in only 2 years, for compairson that's half of the time it took to make Fallout 3 and even less than the time Bethesda used to produced the "fourth" game in the franchise, even though both Fallout 3 and 4 had way bigger teams and budgets; people usually points out that Fallout 3 had to be produced from the scratch and thats why it took longer to make, but thats a half-truth since the third game of the franchise used the same engine as TES:Oblibion with some changes.

    There're a few aspects that make this game stand as the best game of the franchise (mainly as an RPG experience) and one of the best RPGs from the last 2 decades. One of those aspects is the progression system, it is quite simple, but you really feal like you're building your own character with its own set of abilities and singularities, you actually need to focus on some atributes and you wont be able to become a jack of all trades like other recent RPGs like Skyrim and Fallout 4, games that I would like to emphasize as amazing experiences, but more as adventure like games with RPG elements than RPGs by itself.

    Other than the progression itself, its necessary to consider that the way the story starts and progresses throughout the game favors the character you're building in the game; it gives you liberty to 'role-play' as pretty much any type of person you want to be at the ingame world, since you don't have big cues about your past predetermined by the developer; along with the progression system displayed in the last paragraph and well written dialog, those aspects makes FNV close to an perfect RPG.

    Other than the RPG feeling itself, the world (in that case The Mojave Wasteland) and the story of the game are incredible. One of the best things about the Fallout series overall is the grey area of the morally right and wrong in the post-nuclear war world. As we can see in the first game for example, we have relatively big hubs of corporations like the Crimson Caravan that basically works as an mercenary group, not exactlly good or bad, but a group of people doing what they can do best to survive in the wrecked world of the series, the same goes for the other so-called factions like the signature Brotherhood of Steel that serves as one of the landmarks of all games; they all have their share of wrongdoings - and righteousness. In FNV this is still the case, more so than even other segments of the series like the the third game and Fallout 2, where its pretty obvious which factions are good (almost perfectlly good) and the ones that are bad. Don't get me wrong, FNV still has an evil faction, but even the evil one has its reasons to act the way it does (which are pretty convincing in some points), I will not elaborate in that aspect longer than I have to as to not spoil the experience of the game if you seek the whys of each faction, but the bad faction mirrors itself in Ancient Rome (that includes accepting slavery) but not just to be bad and all powerfull, but to restore the purpoted Pax Romanna, that is, the piece that comes with the unification and uniformization of all tribes and cultures.

    Other than the amazing characters, factions and progression system; the quest structures are usually packed with contet and intricacies that can be achieved in many approaches, not the traditional 'talk or shoot' of many RPGs, I suggest GMTK's Anatomy of a Side Quest on Youtube if you permit yourself to be spoilled of a single side quest from the game to acknowledge the many ways you can proceed throughout quests. In that aspect FNV is closer to an ImmersiveSim than a RPG, because it gives you many ways to progress.

    Besides all good stuff I said until now I would not consider FNV as an flawless game; the Gambryo engine utilized in the game is horrible, filled with bugs and glitches that you will see often during the game - gamebreaking bugs are not frequent tho, and with my 400+ hours I havent experienced one yet, other than frustrating crashes both on PC and Xbox 360. I gave a perfect 10 to this game considering production drawbacks.    … Expand

As for the gameplay and the technical component, everything is not as good here as in the previous paragraphs. For a modern player, this title may seem out of date, old and boring in places, and one cannot disagree with this. But still, these technical inconveniences did not prevent me from getting a general enjoyment from the project, which is why I remember it as a very good game.… Expand

    Fallout: New Vegas looks like an Add On to Fallout 3, but that should not mean, that it's a copy of its forerunner. It scores with an great atmosphere, nice story and all the typical and awesome Fallout features.
