    The black humor, bad jokes and buckets of blood flying at a rapid fire pace in interactive form will keep fans of the series coming back for more while we’re waiting for Hollywood to get its act together.

    A strong sense of black humour is prominent in the gameplay, the excellent story and the in-game banter, which keeps your interest in what would have otherwise been a run-of-the-mill third person adventure.

    What really counts here is the gameplay, and in that sense, Regeneration is a fitting tribute to the films. It's great, gory fun to hack limbs off your Deadite foes, and the targeting and combo system are up to the challenge...even if the camera angles suffer from time to time.

    There's no way this game takes longer than eight hours to beat, and after one run through there's no reason to return. For as short as it is, though, I laughed and had a good time. Definitely stick with the console version.

    The game's third-person combat is pretty much D.O.A.—target, shoot, repeat, etc.—but things pick up considerably once you acquire your chainsaw and boomstick (aka 12-gauge shotgun). And things pick up again after you partner up with a wise-cracking midget Deadite.

    If you're a fan of the movies, you'll love this game. Great fun blasting and chainsawing deadites.

    A pretty fun game. The graphics are bad in 2005, but the gameplay is good and fun. It never becomes boring. Quite enjoyable. For the fans,A pretty fun game.     With fun jokes, very good dialogues and voice work, combined with a dark style and a very evil enviroment, Evil Dead Regeneration delivers aWith fun jokes, very good dialogues and voice work, combined with a dark style and a very evil enviroment, Evil Dead Regeneration delivers a fast and fun experience for a gamer that looks for a game to play while bored. The graphics are bad, but are very cartoonish, and Ash's expression is very good (and funny). The game is full of jokes, but in the end you start to notice that they loop, making the last parts of the game not so fun. Repeating too much word "fun"? Well, it's because this game is about it. It's not about a deep terror experience that makes you feel insomnia, but the fun of putting a game in and destroying your enemies. The combat and the few puzzles are pretty repetitive, but the game is short ( I beated in 4 hours). The extras may seem pointless, but it shows really cool stuff and interviews from the game development, showing Bruce Campbell talking a little bit about voice acting, being the main character of a franchise, talking about the rumors from the time, etc. The combat is a button smasher much of the time, but the enemies may add new strategies to the mix. The soundtrack is good, nothing to jump of the chair, but still decent. The characters are few, but most of them are good, filling their roles. The relationship between Ash and Sam is really funny, and most of the time, that's what carries the game. An overall good game, with nothing much to the mix. Critically, a mediocre hack n slash with nothing much to bring, but still a very descent game, with lots of fun and a repetitive, but never the less, good combat… Expand
