    First, I must say that the current score (4.2) may be because people started review bombing the game because there isnt Italian VA.

    10/10 spaghetti gate. Gotta love good review bombing in the morning. That being said, I'd rate the game 8/10 if I didn't feel the need to counter pizza heroes ;)

    There are almost 50k reviews on Steam and the score is VERY POSITIVE. This little war here between frustrated Italians, spiteful Poles, and complex Germans has nothing to do with any assessment. In fact, user ratings on Metacritic should be turned off because it's a big misunderstanding

    I love game mechanic - jumping, climbing and even flying through the amazing world, full of incredible arts is what I was waiting for.

    A very good game, I like every element, and the most unique is parkour, combat, music. Villedor looks very good and has a great atmosphere in the city especially at night. Without revealing too much of the plot at night there is an adrenaline rush and a chase element which gives a lot of satisfaction. It's just a good game, I had no bugs, time well spent.

    Good atmosphere, good parkour and combat. And about the story, I wouldn't say it's perfect but it pulls you in I guess it did at least for me. But it definitely needs some updates.

    - very good game, and lot of similarities of Far Cry series
    - good redesign of night
    - lot of places to parkour, a specially great second map, many details, plants, moving elements - lot of new good ideas - lot of things are better still in DL1. Fighting/killing animations, colors, skill tree and more 80's music (could be a choice?) and maybe parkour animations. - main story is very    - very good game, and lot of similarities of Far Cry series
    - good redesign of night
    - lot of places to parkour, a specially great second map, many details, plants, moving elements
    - lot of new good ideas
    - lot of things are better still in DL1. Fighting/killing animations, colors, skill tree and more 80's music (could be a choice?) and maybe parkour animations.
    - main story is very good. Side quest are usually acceptable but parkour time challenges are really bad (not all). There should be only boards or some more bets quest, other competitors, training sessions,... "Delivery of sugar" quests are bad. Electricity for goat - also very bad.
    - optimization - not bad if u find some DLSS like options. By default are disabled. Its the first game i've played RTX with more pleasure than without. I have most of time 50-70fps with 2K, raytracing standard + DLSS performance, RTX 2070S + i7 7700
    - bugs - there is a lot minor for example wrong candle fire attachment and more serious: game needs to restart after few situations. Most probable situation: loading/unloading surroundings of Fish Eye after night chase. With that framerate could have constant 20fps and game is unplayable. Sometimes it's just few seconds and good framerate is back. Game has no load screens and it saves lot of my time but it would be more annoying to restart when its multiplayer mode. Maybe that performance leaks are reason to not give us better rag dolls and other goodies.
    - final boss - round 1 - ground electro wave skill is little too annoying - unclear when its finished, and so unreal and that round has so many dumb situations.    … Expand

    Awesome game. Perfect for any RPG lovers or lovers of Dying Light 1. Capatalizing on the amazing first person free running aspects of the first game and expanding into an even larger skill list.

    Really good game.
    I am playing on GTX 970 - full hd on medium setting and i have c.a. 60 fps.
    The graphics and plot maybe is not fantastic but due to great gameplay it is not that important.

    My CPU usage is around 30% so i don't feel any impact of Denuvo.

    Very good game, great graphics, nice story, good optimization, but it's still need a fast PC.
    The funniest thing are people **** about optimization, but they still running on bad PC's.
    Read first hardware requirements and the buy.
    Only thing that bothers me are gliches and bugs.
    Overall good game.

    The word that describe this game is "immersion", you REALLY feels like u are fuc*ed in a desolate world. I though i would miss fire weapons, but this is the key to feel the fragility of human being surrounded by zombies.

    I played 14 hours and no bugs yet.

    The best game since The Witcher 3. I don't understand how people can give zero ratings because of a few glitches that Techland will fix very soon. The game totally engulfed me. All mechanics are tuned to perfection. GOOD NIGHT, GOOD LUCK!

    Zarejestrowałem się na metacritic tylko poto żeby dowalić Włochom, obecnie gram dying light 1, potem platynuje horizon forbidden west na którą grę bardzo czekam, a potem platynka dying light 2 jak skończę 1, Włochy zachowują się jak by były pępkiem świata, i co z tego że nie mają dubbing, metro exodus też nie miało polskiego dubbingu i nikt nie narzekał.

    Wkurwiają mnie te włoskie kurwy które piszą że pracownicy Techlandu piszą tę opinie 10/10.     I have never played a game that left me just sitting, watching the closing credits and thinking for so long. It was really indescribable experience. Techland did really good work. 10 out of 10.

    Dying Light 2 is larger and more atmospheric than its predecessor and therefore offers exactly what fans of part 1 want. There are better RPGs with better stories and better combat mechanics, but there are too few games like Dying Light 2, which focus on clumsy action and wonderfully smooth gameplay

    Liebe das Spiel einfach!

    Klar, es hat hier und dar noch ein paar Bugs oder Fehlern, aber die werden denke ich mit der Zeit behoben werden.

    Aber jeder der ein Rollenspiel mit Fokus auf Loot und Apokalypse mag, wird mit dem Spiel glücklich werden.

    Это конечно кощунство, ставить просто хорошей игре такую высокую оценку? Но когда мы в последний раз получали просто хороший сиквел? В котором нет лишних механик, нету фатальных просадок по сюжету. Который соответствует современному уровню графики. В котором нету критических багов. Я давно не проваливался в игры на несколько дней с головой.Это конечно кощунство, ставить просто хорошей игре такую высокую оценку? Но когда мы в последний раз получали просто хороший сиквел?     Great game, has some bug issues which will be resolved shortly I'm sure because of techland supporting the first game so well. If you enjoy running off walls kicking people in the face or leaping from rooftops to fight hordes of undead than you'll definitely enjoy this game. I wouldn't be swayed by people review bombing this is a solid game and people love to complain about everything anymore.

El juego mola, no va a batir records ni es transgresor ni va a ganar ningún premio pero es muy jugable, la historia acompaña, las mecánicas son divertidas, tiene momentos de tensión y momentos de hacer el loco, gráficamente se veNo me creo en absoluto el 5,9 USER SCORE que tiene el juego.     Dying Light 2 is a great game and an excellent successor to the original. The graphics are great and the story is entertaining however the game is not perfect. I ran into a few visual bugs and experienced a few crashes but the worst part is easily the final boss fight. The fight has 4 stages and is just horrible.

    Dying Light 2 plays and looks AWESOME. Parkour is smooth and freedom of movement amazes me. It's a pleasure to watch the city and run through it. Personally I love all the small details that were prepared with care and random encounters with citizens living their lives. This game has also a HUUUGE amount of easter eggs and references to everything.

    Super gra! Świetna grafika, gameplay i w ogóle super. Słaba jest tylko reakcja włochów na brak dubbingu. To polska gra, więc jest polski dubbing, zrozumcie to włosi. A co do tego, że nia ma włoskiego no to czy jest to powód do recenzji na poziomie 1/10? To pokazuje jedynie jak debilni są niektórzy ludzie. Polecam

    Great! I'm having much more fun than in dl 1, especially the parkour feels like a big step up, I love just running around the world and exploring, and the environment is beautiful! Preordering was well worth the money on this one. I'm 30 hours in and there's still so much stuff to do.

    A really brave sequel by techland. All the good points of DL1 have been pulled up a level higher. Of course it's not perfect but I'm hoping for quick improvements. The fact that there is no other game like DL on the market is what makes it special.

    This world is so beautifully drawn that you can get the impression you are in the middle of the movie,

    In my opinions this game is awesome. It upgraded everything from first game and added some new awesome f.e night activities. Some sidequest are go here and take it but story behind this is good.

    10/10 playability 11/10 parkour 10/10 optimalization ( I can play highest setting with gtx 1660 s and intel 5-8400 with 60-70fps and from suggested setting i should go medium )    In my opinions this game is awesome. It upgraded everything from first game and added some new awesome f.e night activities. Some sidequest are go here and take it but story behind this is good.

    Satisfying parkour, decent RPG elements, expectedly deep story. I prefer DL1's favela-like environment vs. DL2's high-rise buildings, but still feels great nonetheless. Finished the game in 44hrs.

    Probably best open world map and traverse mechanics. Impressive story variety. Sometimes cut scenes don't fit your story branch and there are a bunch of bugs and downgrades, but nothing that can't be fixed with patches. I suggest playing at least a year after release, you will probably enjoy it.

    If you enjoyed the first game, you'll enjoy this one. Simple as that. Nothing game changing, just more of what made the first one so good - Parkour and Zombies. Hardcore Parkour!

    In some ways a step back from the first game, but definitely improved in others. If you enjoyed the first game you'll no doubt enjoy the second, but it's different. Techland have promised 5 years of support, and I fully expect them to deliver on that as they did with the first game, which improved massively over the years.

    The reason why most people hate this game is that it has a very uninspiring permise. It starts off by putting you in a ugly portion of the Old Villador city without giving you any idea about all the cool aspects of the game. But if you can make it past the first few hours then you will be amazed at how much this game has to offer. There are tons of activities to do. There are no firearms which is part of the story. I would have given it a full 10/10 if it had gun wielding parkour gameplay!… Expand

    Canceling out the haters, this gane isn't perfect but it's better than a 0 out of ten. Idc if it doesn't have your native language its not a reason to bomb an enjoyable game.

    dying light 2 is a fantastic game i personally enjoyed almost every aspect of the game and i think it improves on everything the first game did so well. It has fast snappy parkour, fun combat and a interesting story the new changes with the skill tree and level system is a welcomed changed as it ads a lot interesting ways to level up other than just dropkicking the nearest zombie for adying light 2 is a fantastic game i personally enjoyed almost every aspect of the game and i think it improves on everything the first game did so well. The map is also massive it takes you ages to run from one end to the other especially without the use of the glider which btw is also a nice addition to the movement system. In terms of bugs i havent encountered one that i even felt was worthy enough to even notice there was one time where one of the mini bosses fell through the ground but i just had to leave the area and come back so it didnt really impact so other than that this game is absolutlty fantastic… Expand

    Despite all my complaints, I initially had fun with Dying Light 2. The first quarter of the game was engaging. I think if the rest of the game played like this, I would have way more positive things to say, but the fact is that it’s just not done. This is clearly an unfinished game mired in mismanagement. I don’t blame the developers at all; the leaders and executives behind this work are responsible. What works here is clean and well done, albeit with some boring AAA niceties. After the first quarter or so, though, the game absolutely falls apart in almost every respect. I’m sad for what was produced here, but if I’m being honest, I’m more sad that I invested nearly thirty hours of my own time into this. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

    Dying Light 2 has proven to be a brilliant zombie game, thanks to the great parkour and combat mechanics. The story however is a bit flawed due to some really strange twists.

    There is fun to be had here, but aside from a few moments of joyous parkour, it's the sort of fun you can have in dozens of other open-world games. There is certainly some added fun in co-op with a couple of friends, but in a world where we get another open-world game every week, I just cannot recommend anyone go out and buy Dying Light 2 at full price. Especially not when it came out right before Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring, both of which look far more promising.
