    A día de hoy un auténtico AAA en todos sus apartados. Graficazos con gran rendimiento, historia interesante con misiones variadas y entretenidas, misiones secundarias muy curradas, desarrollo de personajes de 10, jugabilidad muy conseguida y muuuuchas decenas de horas de juego.
    Y perfectamente doblado al español!!!
    Muy recomendable.

    Super fun survival horror game that has a deep story and an amazing open world environment. I think the parkour aspect is much better than in the original game and I really enjoyed the collecting aspects of the game. I think the ending battle was really a bit of a let down, especially compared to the rooftop ending in the first game. That being said, this is still a fantastic experience!

Personally, I played the game for 300 hours and finished it 4 times, 2 good endings and 2 bad endings.     One of the greatest experiences overall. Each side is imperfect, but interconnected they deliver about 60-100 hours of fun. Parkour and level design are extremely satisfying, battles require great skills even after you fully upgraded the character, each move affects music, and the sky system gives you amazing vibes too.

    Quests are mostly "go there, do that", but motion in this game is    One of the greatest experiences overall. Each side is imperfect, but interconnected they deliver about 60-100 hours of fun.     There is something to be said for a game that offers a real challenge and for me, Dying Light 2 IS that game. The parkour is perfect, the missions while not great are passable, the NPC interactions not the best but still hold my attention to a degree. The add ons and DLC are good but really hoping for mor in the future.

    The game is much more "mainstream" now, much more generic single player game with quests, pointers on the map, ability upgrades, etc., which I happen to like, so for me it's a fine game, I you regard it a new game all together, it's actually quite good, I'd say 8/10.     I love Dying Light franchise because there is so cool mix between fps-parkour and actions, pleasant rhythm and nice curve of complexity. Dying Light 2 combines best solutions from the first part and improve it. Love this game.

    The game jumps higher than it can achieve: too many twists, too many storylines, zero of them fully developed. But it has a wingsuit, the combat system is great, the parkour is outstanding, and the characters are memorable.

    100 hours, completed the game, and quite some side activities. Can recommend!

Characters are also no so bad some of them make you laugh some can bring some drama and some of them you will hate (probably most of them but maybe it's just me XD). Core gameplay is still the same as in previous part except fact that some of abilities moved into skill tree some removed and so on (in general, the developers have made some changes, and each user can judge whether this is good or not.). The graphical part looks kinda the same (played the previous game a long time ago, but it seems that it is so) + ability to turn RTX and it works well. The last and most important aspect it's that you can complete the whole game (full main story) with your friends in the coop. Probably that last thing make the score doble increase (and bad ending) but it's another story XD… Expand

    Game after patch 1.9.0 is really good now I'm fully recommend play this game on PC with dlss or FSR . Hopefully dying light 2 FSR 2.0 upgraded to 2.2 version for better visual and quality both on PC and console

    The reason why most people hate this game is that it has a very uninspiring permise. It starts off by putting you in a ugly portion of the Old Villador city without giving you any idea about all the cool aspects of the game. But if you can make it past the first few hours then you will be amazed at how much this game has to offer.     This game is amazing. Graphics, gameplay, story etc. I think this game is too much better than the first game. I think if you like parkour games you will love this game.

    If you enjoyed the first game, you'll enjoy this one. Simple as that. Nothing game changing, just more of what made the first one so good - Parkour and Zombies. Hardcore Parkour!

    Don't understand hate over a game at all. It's one of the very rare examples that makes me quite upflited about the current state of the game industry.
    I can't finish this review thanks to broke Metacritics review engine and 404 error.

    Firstly I agree that the first game is better at some points. But this doesnt make Dying Light 2 a bad game. I enjoyed the playtrough pretty much.

    Need to give this a 10 just to refute the absolute **** ratings it received so far. The game is absolutely fantastic and the criticism for missing language options is pathetic.

    I enjoy playing this games, with ambience when days or nights..
    Walking and parkouring in the middle of zombies.

    Maybe the stories and combat mechanic isn't exception but the feels you can run from zombies chased are awesome.

Huge improvement over Dying Light 2 but super taxing on the hardware. Nvidia 3060 and up is a must to experience the game in all its glory.     In some ways a step back from the first game, but definitely improved in others. If you enjoyed the first game you'll no doubt enjoy the second, but it's different. Techland have promised 5 years of support, and I fully expect them to deliver on that as they did with the first game, which improved massively over the years.

    dying light 2 is a fantastic game i personally enjoyed almost every aspect of the game and i think it improves on everything the first game did so well. It has fast snappy parkour, fun combat and a interesting story the new changes with the skill tree and level system is a welcomed changed as it ads a lot interesting ways to level up other than just dropkicking the nearest zombie for adying light 2 is a fantastic game i personally enjoyed almost every aspect of the game and i think it improves on everything the first game did so well.     - Parkour, movement and locations. :
    It is an absolute championship. I am of the opinion that even if you have never played the first part, it is worth buying Dying Light 2 just for getting around the city. The locations have been designed 100% with Aiden and the way he will travel through the city in mind. The animations are a masterpiece. A ton of opportunities to get into different points + skills that deepen our possibilities and I'm not just talking about boring statistics like + 10% stamina, but about new animations or tools. Parkour in this game is a benchmark for other studios. If one day another group of Developers decides to hit this topic, they will be compared to this particular game. 11/10.

    -Combat :
    An aspect that has been greatly improved compared to Dying Light 1. Sure, the fight with zombies was solid and a lot of fun, it's people ... people were downright unfair. Dying Light 2 fixes this aspect completely. Balance changed. Animations. Our enemies' reactions. New skills and weapons have been added (eg Throwing Spears.). A gore. Ha! Cutting off limbs, a ton of blood, uncensored brutality! Honey and raspberry. I do not remember when I had so much fun fighting with melee weapons (firearms here, it is even explained in the plot). In other words, Techland just added nothing, or even improved this aspect of the game, which was one of the most important in the first game after all.

    - Graphics and Audio design. :
    Solid work. Nothing to add. Nothing less. In places the game just took my breath away. The moment we see the city for the first time is unforgettable. One of the best moments in the game is when we simply stop for a moment on the roof of a skyscraper and start admiring the amazing views and a huge render distance. It sounds the same. The soundtrack fits perfectly. Music can pump up adrenaline during night escapes, and the sounds of the surroundings and ambient are very well made. The blows, the sounds of weapons and the sounds of breaking bones are also very neat. A solid job.

    - Stability and optimization. :
    I have a fairly powerful machine, but not the best. RTX 2080 Super, 16 GB Ram and i9 processor. And what is the effect? 0 crashes. Very rare FPS drops at max settings at 1080p and no ray tracing. As for these drops, they were really minimal. 5 fps, literally at the moments when hell was happening on the screen. The graphics card did not overheat. Everything worked as it should. Again, a solid job by Techland.

    - Characters and story. :
    Unfortunately, I have to complain here. The plot is very boring. The same goes for almost every character we encounter. If you've ever had or had contact with a story set in post-apo, no matter if it's in a book, movie or other game, Dying Light 2 will seem very familiar to you. We find a ton of film here. Betrayals, cheats and similar drama ... but on the other hand I'm not very angry with Dying Light 2. I'm a gamer who loves good stories and characters. I spent almost 2,480 hours in The Witcher 3. BUT Dying Light 1 didn't have a good story either, people loved the first part for the great Gameplay loop and you can see that Techland bet on that ... or they just can't write a good story: D Yes or anyway, that's a problem, but it doesn't kill the fun of the game. It's just that if you are looking for a plot and you want to focus on it, Dying Light 2 will let you down a lot. Unfortunately, in this aspect, nothing has been improved in relation to the first part.

    - Decisions and choices. :
    Wow. Here Techland showed its claw. The plot is weak, yeah. Characters suck, yes. But the differences he gets in making decisions are really big. Do you remember The Witcher 2? We have something very similar here. Maybe not on such a large scale due to the weaker storyline, but it's close. Two or even three people will have a completely different Quest experience. Other character reactions. A different look of the city. Other available tasks. Great thing! This encourages you to make a lot of transitions and spend even more time with the game.

    - Open world activities. :
    We have loot spots that are only accessible at night (great, I recommend the subway tunnels at night.). Unlockable hideouts. Special climbing towers (which are even puzzles). Bandit bases to conquer. Collectibles. All kinds of time challenges. Generally, there is a lot of it. The map is large and packed with activities. Combined with various decisions, we have HUNDREDS hours to drown here to complete the game 100%.

    - Bugs: Honestly didn't found much of them. There was a little texture flashing or ragdolls having a spasm, but overall nothing major.

    Phew. A lot of this :D But I think I touched on the most important aspects of Dying Light 2. Thats my review.    … Expand

    I'm only about 3 hours in, but I am extremely impressed with this sequel. The first game was a surprise because of how mediocre the reviews were, and so when I picked up that game, I was floored by how well the game played, from the parkour to the combat with an incredible 3 dimensional experience. This second game takes that foundation and places you in a vibrant world with interestingI'm only about 3 hours in, but I am extremely impressed with this sequel. The first game was a surprise because of how mediocre the reviews were, and so when I picked up that game, I was floored by how well the game played, from the parkour to the combat with an incredible 3 dimensional experience. This second game takes that foundation and places you in a vibrant world with interesting characters and plot lines.

    I'm sorry for other Italians review bombing the game because they can't put 1+1 together. It's not a 10 but it's an extremely fun game, 7,5/8 maybe. The story is pretty bad but sidemissions are interesting, the parkour is amazing with it's combos and the combat is... well, not really balanced but fun enough.

Optimization is fine, not perfect but definitely not bad. Especially if you have RTX GPU - performance with DLSS is absolutely amazing. Dying Light 2 is a mix of Dying Light 1, Ubi-game and The Witcher and I'm telling you, this shake is delicious.

    This game is not perfect. My first problem here is repetition of activity. There are many momenta int this game when you can smell copy and paste move. And the second issue - game is just not scary and too easy. There is no fighting for surviving. There is a lot of loot...everywhere. You can craft your own, med kit but I have never done that because I found so many of it while exploring the map, sadly it is also very easy to avoid infected, so there is not so many tension for most of the game.

    Beside that, the game is very very fun and well made. Dying Light deserve 8,5/10. It's definitely worth playing. I'm giving a 10 to help fighting with trolls on Metaxritic    … Expand

Some of the best parts about the combat in the first game are that there is a lot of physics involved and where you hit actually matters.     DL2 is not a 10 but you have to compensate for the amounts of unfair 0s in Metacritic.

    While the narrative is not the best, some animations are worse than DL1 and not the best optimization this game is still a must play with tons of hours to get lost in this post apocalyptic world.

    RDR2 has a 6.4 in Metacritic, just saying.

    Satisfying parkour, decent RPG elements, expectedly deep story. I prefer DL1's favela-like environment vs. DL2's high-rise buildings, but still feels great nonetheless. Finished the game in 44hrs.

    What's the point of 0 to 10 Metacritic? Just stict with 0 and 10 option. There are so many haters in game industry that review bombing is just standard these days and in my opinion Metacritic must do somethink about it.

    Probably best open world map and traverse mechanics. Impressive story variety. Sometimes cut scenes don't fit your story branch and there are a bunch of bugs and downgrades, but nothing that can't be fixed with patches. I suggest playing at least a year after release, you will probably enjoy it.

    I really don't get why it currently has 4.2 user score here on Metacritic. Yes, there are some glitches and yes, the story/decision aspect is not the best, but the parkour gameplay, fighting, atmosphere and the city itself are all awesome. And even after 50 hours I still haven't done everything i want. Money well spent.

    With many more tools and attributes to use, it seems like Techland took a good risk in adding new features. New in game features are fun and refreshing, the developers took the original concept and added gameplay that is more immersive and story driven than the first game. The story missions (as well as the side missions) are more narrative based, creating a dramatic and reactionary environment.

    If you are worried about the bugs hold off and wait a bit before hitting the buy button.
    Looking forward to seeing all the upgrades and support to come over the next 5 years that will make it a 10/10

    A World full of little and big Stories. The night and Day circle is done well. Not to forget the many and creative easter eggs :)))

    But i give only 9 points because of Some Bugs.

    There are almost 50k reviews on Steam and the score is VERY POSITIVE. This little war here between frustrated Italians, spiteful Poles, and complex Germans has nothing to do with any assessment. In fact, user ratings on Metacritic should be turned off because it's a big misunderstanding

    Despite all my complaints, I initially had fun with Dying Light 2. The first quarter of the game was engaging. I think if the rest of the game played like this, I would have way more positive things to say, but the fact is that it’s just not done. This is clearly an unfinished game mired in mismanagement. I don’t blame the developers at all; the leaders and executives behind this work are responsible. What works here is clean and well done, albeit with some boring AAA niceties. After the first quarter or so, though, the game absolutely falls apart in almost every respect. I’m sad for what was produced here, but if I’m being honest, I’m more sad that I invested nearly thirty hours of my own time into this. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

    There is fun to be had here, but aside from a few moments of joyous parkour, it's the sort of fun you can have in dozens of other open-world games. There is certainly some added fun in co-op with a couple of friends, but in a world where we get another open-world game every week, I just cannot recommend anyone go out and buy Dying Light 2 at full price. Especially not when it came out right before Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring, both of which look far more promising.
