    Techland sold out to Tencent, inserted microtransaction into the game the same way they would insert pineapple into your buttie and grabbed some bonus from their Chinese overlords.

    Screw Techland. Once amazing company, now not worth a even a spit their way.

    The difference between what was shown in the E3 and what we got it is day and night

    And due the recent updates and management, it doesn't seems that the game will get any better and that E3 content will be added

    This game worths 10 dollars, but im not buying anything more from techland. I felt betrayed.

    Le jeu est sympa même si dl1 reste supérieur à mon sens, le point important à aborder est l'achat récent de Techland par Tencent, achat qui ruinera le jeu comme tout les autres jeux rachetés ou volés par Tencent. D'ailleurs on commence déjà à en voir la couleur avec une la quantité de micro-transactions à venir et l'ajout d'une monnaie de jeu qu'il faut évidemment acheter avec de la VRAIELe jeu est sympa même si dl1 reste supérieur à mon sens, le point important à aborder est l'achat récent de Techland par Tencent, achat qui ruinera le jeu comme tout les autres jeux rachetés ou volés par Tencent.     Absolute disaster of a sequel. The first Dying Light is one of my favorite games ever, this one is just a mockery to the franchise. The story is terrible (I even went in optimistically despite the bad reviews), the gameplay is wonky and it becomes so repetitive once you get to the central loop. I mean like come on, every mission was a fly, climb, fight and then you would listen to someAbsolute disaster of a sequel. I mean like come on, every mission was a fly, climb, fight and then you would listen to some half-assed dialogue which culminates to choosing between a **** ending or another **** ending. I quite literally stopped playing it and just watched the rest of the playthrough to find out how badly the game ends. I gave the game every benefit of the doubt at every step, I kept saying "ok it's not that bad, it'll get better" well guess what? IT NEVER GOT BETTER. Save your money, don't buy this game unless you like playing the exact same gameplay loop over and over and over again.… Expand

    Worse close-combat without physics, absurd parkour with clownish trampolines, brighter nights, a trees on the roof. No guns, no logic, but with an even worse sjw-bullsh!t story and STUPID UV-timer rules.

    The missions in dark labs and all sorts of underground parking lots in DL2 are the best, but they are many times worse than the usual night in DL1 - and this is 6 years later.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First time playing games from these devs. I am unlikely to get another one. It has potential, it could be fun BUT not only is the plot a bit silly, so much of the gameplay is very very poor. Your guy is supposed to be a parkour guru right? Wrong. He runs out of energy before he finishes climbing a ladder and then just lets go and falls into zombies. A lot of the things you're supposed to be able to climb but not, our guy sort of gives it a wee go and then kind of dangles about for a while until he is eaten by zombies. Speaking of zombies, they are EVERYWHERE! What so this city didn't think ever about trying to clear some places out a bit, build better walls and barricades, develop weapons that can do more than hit one at a time. Why are there no guns anywhere? Some stupid narrative about a massacre when people had to give their guns up is beyond stupid. Many people would have hidden them. The army convoys would have them, they would be ALL OVER THE PLACE. All types of firearms would be. So too body armour, helmets and most likely working vehicles- generators don't seem to have a problem. Having only a few minutes in the dark is plain stupid. I am getting seriously tired of apparent big games being so stupid and poor. I'm tired of critics being paid off. I'm tired of the gaming industry making a hash out of everything. IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD LITERALLY NOBODY GIVES A FLYING CRAP ABOUT YOUR GAY PRIDE FLAGS. Are you SERIOUS!!! Not a single French flag in sight but you know, the international flag of rainbow is here to stay. All of that crap would disappear in the face of just trying to NOT BE EATEN. Why is everybody such a dick? Gangs wandering the streets out to just murder somebody. They don't seem to mind the zombies literally 5 metres away either. COME ON GUYS!!! What a severe waste of money, wish I could refund it but a crap review will have to do. This is now the fourth 'big' game I have bought recently which has been an almost complete joke.     This is Dying Light 1 with an ultra slow progression system for longer life.

Правильно, за чувство обреченности, и чувство страха от ночной вылазки, паркур был реалистичный, главный герой не прыгал как попрыгунчик- он был человеком! Во второй части мы имеем ужасный паркур, который привнес в игру длинные прыжки будто ты человек-паук. Ночные вылазки не страшные абсолютно, оружий мало, толькоВ этой игре нету ничего хорошего. За что так полюбилась первая часть? Правильно, за чувство обреченности, и чувство страха от ночной вылазки, паркур был реалистичный, главный герой не прыгал как попрыгунчик- он был человеком!     A sad disappointment, slightly worse than the 1st game in some areas and extremely worse in other ways. Constant bugs, brain dead AI, meaningless choices, worse combat mechanics, glitchy teleporting enemies, lazy fetch quests etc.. but the biggest sin is that it's not scary.. at all.. the 1st one was very scary especially at night.     This ridicilous trend towards overbloating the games with **** effects with no way to disable them have to stop.

    Can't disable Lens flare -2 point.
    Can't disable Bloom -2 point.
    Can't disable Lens Distortion -2 point.
    Can't disable Depth of Field -2 point.
    Can't disable on screen effects like blood, waterdrops ect. -2 point.

    Wszystko by było fajnie. Gdyby były spluwy. Siekasz te zombiaki tymi tasakami jak nienormalny. Zmienia się tylko wygląd i staty broni. I tak siekasz przez całą grę. A ja oczekiwałem czegoś lepszego od jedynki. Zawiodłem się. Chciałem miotacze ognia, rakiety, granatniki, piły łańcuchowe. A dostałem symulację rzeźnika.

    It is painfully buggy a year after release. I'm on my second play through in new game plus and it's buggier than I remember during my first one. I cannot call for help, I cannot accept distress signals, my game crashed today, the "Renegades" mission glitched and completely disappeared, causing me to lose over an hour's worth of progress.

    I am very disappointed.

    I tried to play the game, didn't make it past the settings. Cannot rebind my grappling hook ? There had to be 3rd party articles that showed you how to edit the input script to bind a simple key ? Yeah mate, it's a no from me. Glad I didn't pay any money for this game. No wonder it was a flop.

    It's a game I've tried a lot, but I've never liked it. It's definitely not a game that fulfills what the producer promised. Unless the price drops as much as the first game, it's not worth buying and playing.

    I really like the first part of Dying Light, I was really looking forward to the second part, but I was disappointed. In the first part of the game, literally all the mechanics are made better than in the sequel, it feels like it was actually Stay Human that came out first, and only then just DL.

    Dying Light is one of my favorite games of all time. Amazing story and characters, lush and detailed world, harrowing night missions and incredible parkour mechanics. Then there's Dying Light 2.

    Playing this game really brings a deep sadness to my heart. I really loved the first game despite its flaws, but there is no learning here, no improvement of any kind. Every single annoying aspect of the first game is doubled here... didn't hear the selectively mute zombies creeping up behind you? now there's multiple! didn't like the kung-fu zombies? here's tenfold of them! found thePlaying this game really brings a deep sadness to my heart. The jump button barely responds, the wide axe swings only hit 1 enemy because the hitboxes are as basic as freaking ps1 games.. and so much more stuff that is devolved over the first game; the visuals are worse, its runs worse than the original aswell, and the first map is maybe the most boring map ever created, ALL the buildings are the same, literally there is like 1 church, 1 hospital and 1 water tower and the rest 99% of the city is just the same house copy pasted. The combat is much less responsive than in the original, combined with the awful collision detection it's just tedious. The parkour stuff is still really fun, with some really cool moments, and the soundtrack is totally awesome, like in the first game! Why this game makes me sad is that although the original had some flaws, it also had all the prerequisites to be a 10/10 zombie sandbox game, instead of that promise they doubled absolutely everything that sucked in the first game and made it more repetitive.… Expand

    Es gibt zwei Gebiete, in dem einen sieht alles gleich aus und im anderen auch!

    I think, that the Elder Scrolls Oblivion (2006) is very very more clever and interesting game than this **** DL2 is'nt worth your any time, my opinion...

    I liked the music,scenery, I was quite taken by the city and i liked exploring it. But there is lot of repetitive actions metro etc . side tasks were a waste of time
    Parkour did what it wanted sometimes. Combat was rather annoying after a while. By now it would be like 6/10. But then the story and dialogue comes    I played the first episode over and over again. This sequel is an insult.

    Despite all my complaints, I initially had fun with Dying Light 2. The first quarter of the game was engaging. I think if the rest of the game played like this, I would have way more positive things to say, but the fact is that it’s just not done. This is clearly an unfinished game mired in mismanagement. I don’t blame the developers at all; the leaders and executives behind this work are responsible. What works here is clean and well done, albeit with some boring AAA niceties. After the first quarter or so, though, the game absolutely falls apart in almost every respect. I’m sad for what was produced here, but if I’m being honest, I’m more sad that I invested nearly thirty hours of my own time into this. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

    Dying Light 2 has proven to be a brilliant zombie game, thanks to the great parkour and combat mechanics. The story however is a bit flawed due to some really strange twists.

    There is fun to be had here, but aside from a few moments of joyous parkour, it's the sort of fun you can have in dozens of other open-world games. There is certainly some added fun in co-op with a couple of friends, but in a world where we get another open-world game every week, I just cannot recommend anyone go out and buy Dying Light 2 at full price. Especially not when it came out right before Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring, both of which look far more promising.
