    Pros:
    + Environments are breathtakingly badass. [Seriously if hell looks like this then sign me the ♥♥♥♥ up!]
    + Fast travel makes collectables more bearable. [It's unlocked for the current level, but only for the current session, so if you finish the level you'll have to get back to the end of the level before you can fast travel again every time. It's a cool but flawed system that    Pros:

    I've played Doom 2016 and now going into Doom Eternal I was excited and knew I was going to experience a masterpiece but wow this game is poetry. The ambience, the music of this game, the way the map is designed, the flow of combat, everything is just pure bliss to experience.

    Okay so the only problem is this is the first game I played that will give me a headache. Not because it's frustrating- but because it feels like I'm on a roller coaster. Except, instead of ups, downs & loops, it's constantly flying through the air, shooting meat off of Demons and ripping their bodies open.

    The game is intense, and one of the few that deserves a title "Action Packed". On easier difficulties, you can play at a more relaxed (playing Doom to relax?) pace, but when the difficulties are higher, it's on.

    I played and loved Doom 2016, and Eternal really is just 2016 pumped up a notch. Everything you enjoyed from 2016 is here, plus more weapons, more unlockables, longer maps, it's just better. Plus, it's also fine to player Doom 2016 even if you play Eternal first.

    The graphics are beautiful, the game runs so smooth despite being so fast-paced. The music is beautifully orchestrated with the events happening on scene. For sure, the game is a power trip, and it feels good.

    The story is fine and interesting, but you don't really play Doom for the lore. My only complaint is I actually don't like the multiplayer from Eternal, I prefer 2016's style. I may be in the minority there, but I would recommend this game for its single-player experience only. Its multiplayer is more of a cute knock-off, to me.

    ok take Doom 2016, give it steroids, make it ♥♥♥♥ a demon, wait for the demon to give birth, raise the child with a crapton of steroids, bully the child until it's at least 20 years of age, make it snap, give him a gun and a chainsaw, then send him to school while blasting pumped up kicks on a boombox duct-taped to his forehead.     Not only does DOOM Eternal have an amazing combat system and AI, it also mixes certain elements of puzzle solving alongside gut-wrenching, adrenaline fueled combat that will surely eradicate any stress that you have and leave you craving for more blood and guts.

    The music plays a big part too, the combat music can even make you wanting to 1v1 with the Sun ! It sets the mood to this game brilliantly.
    I think the brilliant gameplay coupled with outstanding graphics and innovative story makes it a clear legendary game.

    Ikke bare har DOOM Eternal et fantastisk kampsystem og AI, det blander også visse elementer i puslespillløsninger sammen med tarmknusende, adrenalindrevet kamp som helt sikkert vil utrydde alt stress du har og etterlater deg lyst på mer blod og tarm.

    Doom Eternal building upon the gameplay and level design of 2016. The deeper and more challenging gameplay can be tough to grasp at first but it the payoff is one of the best shooters of the last 10 years.

    Buy it. It's an instant classic and one of the greatest FPS games of all time. Worth every penny. Goes to show how good a game can be when it's made by people who love it, respect it, understand it, and most importantly, PLAY IT. Only issues is we need mods.

    Blows Doom 2016 out of the water in every way. Combat is a lot more cerebral and the AI is very challenging. You actually have to solve a combat puzzle in Eternal instead of just spamming the super shotty or gauss cannon to fight everything like in 2016.

    Amazing game. Using different weapons/mods carries real benefits this time around because certain enemies are easier to take down with certain weapons. For example, cacodemons are tanky to most weapons, but are weak to the sticky bomb and ballista.

    As a sequel, Eternal delivers on many fronts. From the diversified visuals along with the environments they represent, to the nuances and mechanics of the combat system being *greatly* expanded. Eternal is as rewarding and complex as you make it.

    Blaast het vorige spel op alle mogelijke manieren uit het water. Gevechten zijn veel meer cerebraal en de AI is erg uitdagend. Je moet eigenlijk een gevechtspuzzel oplossen in plaats van alleen het super shotty of gauss-kanon te spammen om alles te bestrijden zoals in het vorige spel

    The gameplay is amazing and well known to be amazing. Doom has always been a combat first type of game. If the game isn't fun to play, then what's the point, right? And although the gameplay is the star of the show, the story beneath it all is friggin brilliant and well written. I love how most of the narrative is told through the codexes in 2016 and Eternal.

    Upon beating Eternal, especially on Ultra Violence, you may feel confident that you've become good enough at the game. For those who come out unsatisfied with the content, I implore you to step up to Nightmare. I feel you will get the most this game offers in multiple ways when playing on Nightmare.

    It definitely still is really exciting and adrenaline-inducing to play it. Even more so for people who can play it as it was meant to. Another important thing to note about DE’s gameplay is: you can’t play it like you’re braindead.

    I liked Doom 2016 aesthetic better but as overall game Eternal is better. Gameplay, movement and level variety is soo much better.

    Good game, from the gameplay, introducing new weapons and enemies, to the soundtrack, it's just a good game.

    To go in deeper, this game starts off regular into intense with a lot of enemy's, and you unlock new weapons and the game wants you to keep adapting and you feel like your getting stronger as you start defeating the larger enemy's in less time and then you get introduced to even    Good game, from the gameplay, introducing new weapons and enemies, to the soundtrack, it's just a good game.

    A game you can have fun in, even if you don't have friends to play with. It doesn't matter what mood you're in, you'll have fun blasting and ripping guts. Worth every dollar.

    What more to say about this incredibly visionary game. it has everything a fan of story, first person shooter, and gore. it is the best follow up sequel a game could every have.

    Absolutely incredible - best game I have played in years. Still can't stop thinking about it after I beat it. Definitely going to give it another play through.

    This game is just brutal. It plays similar to previous doom games but has a much more polished feel to it. The scenery and graphics look amazing in Ultra Nightmare mode. The game is an impressive step from up the last Doom and is a exhilarating to play.

    The game is one of the most funnest ive ever played. I love the demons designs, as well as exploring the lore, doing puzzles. Its more than just a fighting game, it is THE fighting game.

    Doom Eternal is about the perfect game when you want to just shut off your brain for a few hours and enjoy some music-driven demonic carnage. The scenery is amazing, the enemies are dynamic and interesting and there was even some room for a decent story.

    The story is amazing if you get into it and read some of the codex files, really recommend this game to anyone who doesn`t hate gore and wants a good gameplay and story.

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
