    This game is absurdly good. I only played on Nightmare mode (the most challenging) and it was frustrating at first but when you learn the rhythm of combat and unlock the full arsenal this a a true masterclass in First-Person-Shooters. Never have I felt like such a God in game while also having my heart race. Cannot recommend this enough. Play on easy difficulties for some mindless fun orThis game is absurdly good.     The gameplay is fast, requires you to be aggressive and to use all the tools the game gives you to survive. I was afraid that all the new weapons and gadgets would make the game too easy when compared to Doom 2016 but that is not the case. This game is obscene amounts of fun.

    Holy **** ****. What a good ******* game. DOOM Eternal has the best gameplay of any game I've played. This game deserves so much more than an 8.7 score. Eternal is without a doubt in my mind, the best fps ever made. There is so much depth to the combat its utterly unbelievable. Play this goddamn game.

    This is a truly awesome game. I wasn't even that invested in DOOM when I first pre-ordered it (mainly just wanted the revenant doot skin), but playing this game made me a believer.     How is this so addictive? Could it be the music, killing demons, a combination of both? I don't know but it is a great stress reliever and the highest difficulty while dying over and over again to endlessly combat spawn of hell... And then getting it right at last. Ufffff, the dopamine hit!

    Try this game. You won't regret it. Highly recommend.

    A prime example of what video games are able to achieve. I was recommended by a friend to play this game and came out recommending it to many more. I came into it expecting it to be a mediocre game in a milked franchise but was instantly surprised by the polish and beauty of it. Do I recommend this game? YES!

Doom Eternal combines combat, mobility, and defense in a way that not only improves on the previous, but creates a totally unique and 'easy to get into, but hard to master' gameplay loop. At no point is the slayer not given every tool he needs to rip and tear.     Doom Eternal is an amazing game with so much careful detail to everything, from the sound of the trees in Urdak to the background in Hell on Earth. Once mastered the combat flow is so refreshing. I highly recommend this game.

    I've been playing this game on Xbox since release, and I can confidently say it's one of my top games. However, I play on controller, and as you know, playing DOOM on a controller is like playing Basketball with arthritis.

    Pretty massive improvement over Doom 2016 from combat, traversal, levels and overall more fun/crazy game. I like how graphics are more like original games style. I did not like 2016 but I loved this one.

    One of the most intense campaigns I've played through. This is not the power trip that DOOM 2016 was, it really is another beast entirely. My hand-eye coordination has never been better.

    Fast paced shooter with lots of cool enemies and weapons, reminds me of the original.

    Fun amazing game with an interesting story. Love swinging on the monkey bars and dashing like a madlad. Runs well 8 year consoles as well.

    I had an absolute blast with this game. It has kept me sane during this pandemic. Kudos id software.

    I know this game is been praised to death but seriously great game all around. Never played a modern shooter since Titanfall with this level of good movement and combat.

    I had a semi-chub during the whole main campaign. Big stiffy man big one. This is a great game.

    There was something about the aesthetic of DOOM 2016 that I makes me like it more. But otherwise, this game is objectively more mechanically sound. Its more Doom what's not to love?

    Doom 2016 blew my mind, this game is so good it makes 2016 look boring. Get it.

    Awesome game. Really intense, fast paced and difficult at the higher difficulty levels, but not unfairly so. The only barrier to success is your own skill. That's how it should be. I miss games like this that aren't all about stat buffs and numbers but just about raw mastery of the mechanics. I for one like the the platforming and exploration bits too, they serve as a nice break from theAwesome game. Really intense, fast paced and difficult at the higher difficulty levels, but not unfairly so. The only barrier to success is your own skill. That's how it should be. I miss games like this that aren't all about stat buffs and numbers but just about raw mastery of the mechanics.     This is with out a doubt one of my favorite games. amazing visuals, game play and balance. each fight feels tough but fair, it makes you feels like you deaths are your fault and not the game, and that's not something many games can pull off. i.e. This game really makes you FEEL like Doom Guy.

    Its good. Funny game where you beat demon, die and then win. You get massive dopamine rush.

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
