    Yes, this game is fully P2W. You can do some mental juggling to try to argue against this fact, but it's wide open to anyone. Do you only play PVE and in that case will the amount of money invested be irrelevant? Your mistake is sad! Because the game limits (and a lot) the progression of F2P players, while whoever has more money to spend will always be able to evolve more and more.

    I am not going to repeat what has become public knowledge of how immoral the game is. My absolute last drop was the Bestiary "achievement" system.
    154 monsters to collect information about by gathering monster essence. Drop that is not super common and you get a reveal for 10(capped of course) essences. The thing is even this is behind RNG wall. You can reveal already discovered monster    I am not going to repeat what has become public knowledge of how immoral the game is.     This game is garbage. Uninstalled after reaching lvl 13 and understanding how the micro-transactions was gonna condition my experience. The message needs to be clear to the gaming industry, this type of game is not the future of gaming.

    Doubles as a casino, so if you like gambling, this is the game for you
    The leveling experience is OK Cons
    Incredibly dossappimtment if you've played any other diablo game
    Next level p2w Investment of 100k USD required to be top tier (no stocks included)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Most of Diablo Immortal is just microtransactions with a decade old game slapped on to it. It's hard to believe Blizzard would jeopardize almost three decades of trust for this "game". Deserves nothing above a 0.0 rating. This is my first time ever reviewing anything, I've never cared, but this "game" deserves it that much. Even with no pay to win id still rate it only a 3/10 maximum with the only reason being they did add some minor new things after copy pasting Diablo 3, so It's not the exact same.… Expand

    This game is literally Pay-to-Win. Even for mobile systems it’s not good, and for PC it’s even worse. Lost hope in Blizzard!

    I was happy with the content until I found out about the hidden caps essentially punishing players wanting to invest more time to progress (and this in an ARPG...). Losing my faith in Blizzard...

    Worst monetization ever. PvP only for whales. Good loot only for whales. Be whale in a group of whales or get kicked. Paying for every step or you will be behind everyone.

    Finished the game in 4-5 days of not that intense gaming. The game it self is not that bad until you reach Lvl walls and it persuades you to pour in money.... Total letdown... back to D3 and D2

    The predatory nature of this "game" makes it an affront to gaming in general. This thing shouldn't even be allowed to exist due to how predatory it is. It's an utter disgrace to the gaming industry and an indictament of how bad game companies have gotten.

    This game is complete garbage. It's developed by NetEast which developed tons of Pay2Win garbage mobile games. Blizz basically just put a 'Diablo' skin over it and call it a day. And right now, in order to progress end game content, the only way is to throw money down bottomless pit. There is a streamer that literally spend 15k to get one 5/5 gem. And you need 5 more of those gems. AThis game is complete garbage. It's developed by NetEast which developed tons of Pay2Win garbage mobile games. Blizz basically just put a 'Diablo' skin over it and call it a day. And right now, in order to progress end game content, the only way is to throw money down bottomless pit. There is a streamer that literally spend 15k to get one 5/5 gem. And you need 5 more of those gems. A lot more those ultra rare gems to progress event further. At the end of day, ask yourself this. Do you want a new car a house? Or do you want to get gears in this game intead? IMHO, Blizz is quickly becoming the new EA!… Expand

It feels like the very same cultists were in charge of Diablo Immortal: it has superficial resemblance to the real thing, but it lacks any real substance. [Issue#260, p.36]

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
