    Once upon a time blizz was great, but went downhill from WC-refunded to Diablo immoral. disappointing releases one after another, lame ass wow expansions, I personally am done with you blizz, it's not you, it's me, **** no I lied it's all you **** you blizz to think I stuck with blizz since vanilla wow.

    This game is probably the epitome of greedy, slimy game design. completely inundated with layers upon layers of microtransactions that make it feel more like an exercise in gambling than a game designed from the ground up for enjoyment or being fulfilling

    As a fan since the original diablo, I am truly dissapointed and angry. This is nothing more than a D3 clone with sparkles sprinkled around and a heavy pay to win system. What the **** happened to quality control and Blizzards core values?

    Got 100k? Go ahead. I have no problem with p2w mechanics, but this game just takes P2W to a whole new level. Every single function in this game is p2w. Literally if your a f2p player you will never ever be remotely competitive with even a low level whale.

    Horrible game, and the "professional" reviewers who wrote positively about it are either hacks or shills. This game deserves an award for most predatory microtransactions to exist *Ever*. This tops genshin impact, this tops fate grand order. It's so ridiculously pay to win, its not even funny. It has the absolute worst rates I've seen, a subscription system, two battle passes, a gachaHorrible game, and the "professional" reviewers who wrote positively about it are either hacks or shills.     This is not a game worth playing, eventually, the only way you will get your character to do more damage without spending weeks or months for that is throwing money at Blizzard and that's just not fun.

    The PC port is also a lazy terrible excuse of programming, the mouse movement sticks making you run all over, the graphics on a UHD 4K OLED will melt your eyes and cause a migraine, and moving and fighting is pure uncontrollable garbage.
    This game should be BANNED worldwide.

    The big-paying players totally roll over the average player. Even if the average player may buy in-game items for more than the average value of a new game, they still stand no chance to the big-time    **** game.     Diablo has always been a great hack-and-slash looter where grinding is key. This has stood the test of time and been successful throughout my lifetime. I guess this franchise and universe has now come to an end.

My girlfriend who doesn't know how to use a mouse or keyboard thoroughly enjoyed this game. As I am writing this, I am a level 35 paragon monk with 1250 combat rating on a paragon server level of 36. I spent roughly 70 dollars. I fought in numerous Immortal fights. As someone who has played thousands of games over the course of 10 years, has played every MMO you can think of. This game is by far the most unsatisfying, horrible, disgusting game. In Archeage you would grind and you would spend lots of real money to gear up. In archeage there was a purpose. The purpose was the castle land battles. Where you and your entire guild fought every other guild on the server to get a castle. Where then when you got the castle, you would defend it or attack it in 100 vs 100 man hour long fights. The time you spent leveling up, the money you spent improving your chances to gear up, all of that mattered, it was meaningful. Here in Diablo Immortal, you have to fight a giant immortal for approximately 5 minutes. Then it's over. All the grinding you did, all the money you spent, meaningless. As it was only for five minutes of unsatisfying PVE/PVP. I am really happy I didn't drop more money into this game. There's a limit to what you can do, especially if you are mostly free to play. There is no cap on slot machine power progression, but there is a limit on how fast you can level, how much you can do if you don't spend money. Do yourself a favor. https://dimi777.github.io/diablo-rift-simulator/ Play this simulator instead. It took me 49,375 dollars to get 6 5 star gems. There is absolutely nothing to do for the real hardcore gamers that love diablo for the grind for the loot. You are hindered and stopped every other day by Paragon level cap reducing your xp gained by over 80% at a time or the dozen of other caps. My girlfriend rates this game a 5/10, unfortunately for blizzard, I am the one writing this review and rating it. Horrible game, obvious cash-grab to people who loved diablo, a way to milk us for our money. Blizzard has successfully ruined every IP they have. At least for me.… Expand

There is now spending cap. It also has what basically is loot boxes but hides it behind a diablo 3 rift. There is also now bad luck protection for the 5/5-star gems.     In this game you'll find predatory monetization using psychological grooming and manipulation tactics that should quite frankly be illegal. It's a damn shame because if you removed all the pay to win mechanics you'd be left with an actually decent game to play when you're on the go. Instead blizzard once again chose to sell their tomorrow for today. Disappointing.

    As a fan from the original series (I still have the original installation CD), I couldn't wait for Diablo Immortal. As soon as I finished my first dungeon and was presented with an option to buy something with real money as a "reward" for finishing it, deep down I immediately knew something was awry. I understand free-to-play still needs to make money, but that's not a "reward".     I’ve played the game f2p and got to paragon 20. Throughout my time playing, I did have fun but there were a lot of problems that quickly extinguished that. It’s impossible to get legendary gems without spending money. You don’t get enough regular gems and even if you do they don’t help that much. It’s really hard to queue into a Helliquary Raid and to get into an active warband (neverI’ve played the game f2p and got to paragon 20. Throughout my time playing, I did have fun but there were a lot of problems that quickly extinguished that. It’s impossible to get legendary gems without spending money. You don’t get enough regular gems and even if you do they don’t help that much. It’s really hard to queue into a Helliquary Raid and to get into an active warband (never happened to me) for the extra rewards. The pvp is extremely pay to win and only those who have paid thousands have a positive KD. The zone events are one of the best ways to get good gear and they only show up for like 15 minutes per couple of days. But above all else, what makes this a completely terrible game is that throughout my whole experience, even when my character gets stronger, I’m not killing enemies any quicker than when I started the game. I’m still dieing just as easily as when I started. When you get to later stages of the game which is where I got to, the game also becomes extremely boring because you’re doing the same content every day. If you like the top down, action rpg genre that Diablo Immortal is, then Path of Exile is a way better choice. It has way more content than Diablo Immortal and it’s f2p.… Expand

OW2, D4 - they are more complete games but they learned from D Immortal. Blizzard doesn't care about players, the executives will do whatever they can to get your money.

    You can grind your way up to a certain point without much issue, but eventually you'll realize that it's taking much, much longer to level up. They make it take significantly longer to level after you've already invested a certain amount of time on your character to make you more likely to give in to impatience and buy experience boosts to finally reach endgame.

    Buying in-game currency will often give you more than enough to buy something you want, while leaving you just a little bit short of buying something else. That premium currency will go to waste unless you buy just a little bit more so you can spend it, right?

    Any time you kill a boss you're "rewarded" with the opportunity to pay for better drops. Normally there's a small chance of a boss dropping a decent item, as you'd expect of the kind of game this is supposed to be, but if you pay enough real money you can guarantee upwards of a dozen legendary items on the spot.

    With every action you take, the game constantly reminds you of how much more you could be getting out of it if you can spare the cash. I wouldn't call the game pay-to-play, so much as play-to-pay.

I haven't spoiled any story, for sure, but that's only because there really isn't much to this game other than its collection of disgustingly predatory marketing practices designed to wear you down to the point of cracking open and emptying your wallet.    … Expand

    The game is nothing MTX, poor performance, and forcing you to offer your soul to the game.

    I regret the time and money of my life I poured into this game, believing it would be a good Diablo experience. It was not.

    Why was it necessary to port the game to a PC, if there are a lot of bugs in it, the E button on a PC generally works every 20 times opening doors or closets. Character dialogues on the floor of the screen. Blizzard is the most miserable company.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.
