    Blizzard had a golden opportunity to release a game that stood out amongst the crowd - with the mobile APRG scene lacking a true AAA competitor it is such a shame to see how utterly greedy and aggressive the monetisation is within the game.

    On top of being required to spend upwards of $100k+ (yes, $100,000 dollars) there are hidden anti-grind limitation mechanics for free-to-play    Blizzard had a golden opportunity to release a game that stood out amongst the crowd - with the mobile APRG scene lacking a true AAA competitor it is such a shame to see how utterly greedy and aggressive the monetisation is within the game.

    On top of being required to spend upwards of $100k+ (yes, $100,000 dollars) there are hidden anti-grind limitation mechanics for free-to-play players. It has been mathematically worked out that purchasing 1 Legendary Crest will save you 4-6 months of free-to-play grinding. Continuing this path of aggressive monetisation, the bonus packs host an arbitrary value % that is a psychological trick to get you to purchase it whilst actually not retaining any true value to what it advertises.

    Whilst the gameplay may be interesting, the aggressive monetisation absolutely overshadows any of the good development work that went into this game. You have to manage 8+ trees of goals, 3 of them for PvP and 3 of them for power progression whilst maintaining what each of the 21 currencies needed for upgrading will do to help you gain power.

    Overall, this game remains to be one of the most predatory games I've seen within the mobile market to-date, even superseding the greediness of other AAA mobile games. It would have been well-received if the game was purely cosmetic in nature and had more cosmetic based items for the business to incorporate microtransactions into such as:
    - Pets
    - Banners
    - Capes / Wings
    - Glowy effects for your character's animations.
    - Player Housing

    I hope a true ARPG comes around and takes the throne as this certainly misses the point.    … Expand

    Im constantly bombarded with the need to pay for stuff. What the hell is this ??
    I wanted to kill hellspawn, but ended up loosing interest due to getting tricked into buying items that only gave me the posibility to buy the needed items down the line. If I decide to not pay I loose the reason for buying    I figured I would buy the season pass to support the game as I found it to be awsome.

    This is the apex of greedy cash grab p2w games. Its hard to imagine how it could get any worse from this. The psychology of sales is inherently predatory, but what this game achieves should absolutely be illegal. The word to sum it up is evil, pure evil. As a gamer, as a human being, the existence of this game should infuriate you.

    Game made from reused assets, no compelling storyline and uses so many psychological tactics to make you spend more and more money, you could believe the game was designed by a psychology institution, the fact that you can literally spend tens of thousands and receive next to no progression is downright criminal and makes me frightened for the future of gaming.

    What is happening to blizzard and their games? I have been playing the Diablo series since D1 and now this monstrosity of a game? What a shame to see this to my favorite ip.. The game is fun to a certain degree, but you cannot experience the most without paying real money.

    Just dont BUY ANYTHING, let them rot without any cash

    Other than that: * Story follows the shattering of the Worldstone in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and is OK-ish.     Other than that:

    * Encountered many other crashes, slowdowns, etc.
    * UI is ported from mobile poorly - it's buggy and breaks often, often with empty or corrupted screens, quests with no content in your quest list, etc.
    * Combat is broken because the input is made for fat fingers and phones - try to position your character in a fight using the mouse. You end up clicking one of the many enemies on screen and you attack instead of move. This killed me many times in boss fights.
    * Overall feels unfinished and I bet the longer you play, the more broken it is.
    * Game runs at some godawful low resolution and looks bad on my big 4k screen. There's no point to the cosmetics when it looks like something from 2005.
    * Music and sound are good. The only thing that could get a + point from me, if it weren't for:
    * The monetization ... we all know about the monetization here. It's whaling time! Not. I paid nothing for this and urge everyone to stay away. It's deceptive, exploitative and made to ruin you.

    If this game was something you can buy for $25, I'd give it a 7/10 and play through the story - it's still the Diablo IP and I've been following that since its inception.    … Expand

    As a fan from an early age (warcraft 1 and 2, diablo 1, 2, starcrcraft, wow...and so on) I look with sadness and disappointment what you have done with this company...maybe you made money with this game(now), but for sure you lost fan...and i think a lot of them.

    Nothing new from the gameplay perspective for a Diablo game. No skill tree, just a selection of 4 skills amongst 10ish. The combat is not very challenging.
    * Endgame content is just grinding the same 3 variations of zones over and over.
    * The user interface on PC is bad, you will find yourself accidentally clicking on UI buttons while in combat. On top of that the game doesn't lock y

I would recommend not installing and playing something else instead. I also wouldn't recommend supporting monetization as predatory as what is in this game, and instead support developers who sell you a decent product for a decent price. You can pay for microtransactions in this game if you want but the microtransactions in other games are comparatively much better in other mobile games and Gacha titles I have played.    … Expand

    Immortal is a big, deep, fun game with unbelievably scumbag mobile gacha monetization.

    The gameplay seems pretty solid but the P2W scheme just ruins the game. This is honestly my first Diablo title, yet I've played others like it (PoE). The fact that it would take, at the least, $100k USD to max out your character...I'll pass. Blizzard knew EXACTLY what they were doing when they made this game. What they did should be outlawed worldwide. Blizzard...you can do better than this.

    Game is almost fun except it just plays like everything else but it doesn't cost you $110 000 to max a single character. How can you possibly compete against anyone who spends money. PVP should not be Pay to Win but this is the worst example and games like this one are ruining the industry. Torchlight on mobile handles better and is f2p with only cosmetic shop so try that.

    Because Blizzard doesn't take "no" for an answer until it hurts them financially, we need to be careful not to enable, encourage MTX or other p2w mechanics. As to the quality of the game, I fell out of love with D3 a long time ago and d:i feels too similar for my liking. I was done after 10 minutes of necromancing. I have other things to do.

    Pay to win. I didn’t expect it from blizzard :( Graphic, narrative, atmosphere - everything ruined when I realized that whole the game is about to pay to compete with other players. It is not about money. It is about attitude to its loyal players.

Tive uma experiência ok no inicio do jogo, mas no passar dos níveis você começa a perceber que o drop de tudo passa a ser somente lixo nada de valor, e o tempo todo o jogo te mandando mensagens de itens em oferta. Fenda anciã é uma piada. Se você entrar sem nada, você sai sem nada. Não vale nem o tempo investido.

    Blizzard is so good at finding ways to sink lower every time, it's actually kind of unreal how they do it. This game is not only broken and a shameless repackaging of Diablo 3 (Already a bad game), but on top of that you gotta spend literal hundreds of thousands of dollars to play the endgame.     Played about 20 hours on iPhone and PC. This game is a worse version of D3, which released 10 years ago. Except, you have to pay money to play the same content you already completed 100 times in D3. The classes are less interesting, the gameplay is repetitive, and the micro-transactions are predatory.

    Everyone who spends time and money on this game will leave with nothing but regret.

    Holy predatory smokes. Gave it a fair shake for a week and it's just a constant barrage of prompts to spend more and more money. It kills any sense of adventure or fun. Not that there is much of either. The only complexity the game has is in it's various methods of monetization.

    The monetisation is just pure evil. It cannot get any worse. They use everything in the playbook to get as much money from you as possible. This should be straight up illegal. I'd rather go to a casino, at least there are pretty girls and nice dtinks.

    Blizzard has officially lost all of their integrity. They don't hold any of their previous values that put them in such high regards in the eyes of their devoted (some even zealous) fans. They're effectively trying to rob as many players as they can with these unbelievably predatory monetization before the Microsoft deal goes through.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
