May 16, 2012This game sucks. Can't even play single player when the servers go down and they go down often. When they do come back there are rollbacks where ive lost several levels.

May 25, 2012Terrible stoy and narration, one kid 5 yo would have done better (the same as with starcraft 2).
Always online drm for single player in the most retarded thing ever done.
A game built upon the shameful real money AH.
Terrible graphics, I expecter A LOT more than the usual WOW art style.
Gameplay wise is worse than Diablo 2 in many areas.
Ridicolous price for a bad product like this. -

May 16, 2012Wow, they not only managed to make the game always in multiplayer mode, they also managed to do it always unplayable. Nice one, very good one gentlemen.

May 17, 2012WTF is this. First I can't log in, now I get disconnected every 10 minutes. In a single player game. That's right. I need to be online to enjoy a single. player. game.

May 15, 2012As was expected, the game is way below it's predecessor. Constant connection requirement, real money auction house, 4 player maximum, cartoonish art style, bans for using display sharpening software and 2 hour short game are only the tip of the iceberg.
With this installment, ActivisionBlizzard have finally secured themselves a spot in my top 5 most hated developer list. -
Jun 1, 20120 is all this game deserve as I can't play it most of the time because Blizzard is doing a **** job with his servers.
Normal mode is a joke.
Nightmare mode is a joke.
The whole Act.4 is a joke.
The loot is not impressive at all.
The only good thing about this game is that I learned to type extra fast my password at the loging screen. -
May 15, 2012NOT worth 60 dollars. WAY too short and missing many features that are "promised" by Blizzard as in you've gotta wait who know how many months for them to actually develop said features and implement them. In it's current state the game is just way too expensive for so little play time. No idea why Blizzard decided to release such an unfinished barebones game and decided to charge full price.

May 17, 2012This game is great! I wish I could play it. The game's been out for three days and I'm already at level 5! I've been playing as often as I can. You'll really enjoy it if the stars align in such a way that you're able to successfully log in to this online-only multiplayer game.

May 16, 2012Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Yeah, there's different icing, but underneath it's the same cake. You still click the mouse button until your fingers fall off, waiting for that one super-drop to make it all worthwhile. Add to that the massive fail of "must always be online" and servers crashing and you get ... my zero rating.

May 15, 2012Don't waste your time and money on this game. It's not even close to Diablo 2 or even Diablo 1. Blizzard is just trying to use it's famous title to milk customers.

May 16, 2012this will be my shortest review ever
WHAT A PIECE OF..... u know what i mean and as i said on guru 3d ppl deserve any trouble they get from the servers just because they are brainless automatons... they did not raise there voices for this crap of a drm -
Jun 3, 2012Let me just play single-player without network problems! I'm seriously not buying anything with this DRM in the future. Sure, this is just a game, but that's precisely why you shouldn't frustrate your goddamn customer!
-
May 15, 2012Terrible DRM that requires you to be online and then terrible support from Blizzard at keeping the servers online and actually allowing people to play, or better said not allowing since they did piss poor job at making descent servers. No character customization in 2012, arguably Diablo 2 looks better/less blurry at times, no lan, no pvp or proper pvp after they add arena.
Not a good game. -
May 16, 2012If they force you to play online, even if you just want to play for your own, than they have to make sure that the capacity of the servers are sufficient every minute at any time.
No Play No Game. -
Aug 24, 2012David Brevik is a good and decent man. To even think of how unprofessional and unskilled Jay Wilson talked about him makes me very angry. This game was released broken and no one should waste money on it.

Aug 31, 2012My one major complaint is that the game never feels very difficult, especially on Normal. There are frustrating moments, hordes of baddies, and increasing difficulty levels, but the same feeling of utter defeat never really happens as it did in the past.
-
Hyper MagazineJul 18, 2012For all the game's missteps, though, you certainly can't accuse Blizzard of phoning it in - if anything, the game suffers from the tendency to try a little to hard at times to evolve the design. [Aug 2012, p.61]

Jul 3, 2012When it works, Diablo III is the best of the Diablo games. When it doesn't, all it does is make you mad. [July 2012, p.54]
