    The game itself is great. But there are several problems. Examples, from minor to major:
    They kept bugs from the original. Like opening a door, the door visually stays closed but gameplay wise, it is open. Weird to keep something like that in the game, would have been a good opportunity to fix that.
    A bigger issue is Blizzard´s inability to communicate. One example: frost mastery was    The game itself is great. But there are several problems. Examples, from minor to major:

    A bigger issue is Blizzard´s inability to communicate. One example: frost mastery was breaking immunities. No communication from blizz whether this was intentional or a bug. Some patch happens, frost mastery no longer breaks immunity. No communication that that would happen (in a game with limited respeccs). And, since there are no patch notes, and no communication from blizz, we can´t even be 100% certain that they changed it on purpose, might just be a bug now.

    The biggest issue though, that runs this down from 9/10 to 1/10 is the servers. Since I started playing, the servers are down up to 10 hours per day. Every day. Open Bnet/tcpip play was removed, so all you can do in this quintessencial multiplayer game is play singleplayer.
    Oh, and of course Blizzard´s communication on the server issues is barely existent.    … Expand

    It has been almoast a month sice relese of the game and still cant log in properly. Every day thare are trobles with finding your characters on the server. The game closes it self constantly and you lose your progress. It is simply annoying and sometimes unplayable. Activision GET YOU **** TOGEATHER!

    Servers are down every single day, sometimes multiple times a day.

    An outage normally results in you losing items and experience in a rollback. Yes, multiple rollbacks a day. Losing any good items you picked up.

    This is awful. I just can't play this.

    Scammers gonna scam. Those Blizzards fooled everyone again!
    The product itself looks fine but its all only the shiny appeal.

    A whole week servers are down and failing.
    Awful ignorant support, replying once per 24 hours!!! Ridiculous!
    btw none of their replies showed any info on what's going on.

    DO NOT have any deals with them! EVER, or you will be scammed one way or another!

Every single day the server goes down at the exact same time of the day, and it doesn't get back until later in the evening, when it still experiences a lot of disconnects. I would recommend ppl to avoid buying this game until much later in time, and only if they fix the server issue.     A week servers do not work in the evening at the peak, I do not know what the developers are doing, but they do nothing but rollback the server. Do not advise to buy the game from this company.

    The game is super, but weeks of idle online, when you can't play your favorite game, spoil all the good things in it. The progress of local characters is not stored in the cloud, so you can transfer it to a new computer only through crutches and you won't be able to play with friends using these characters either. they are denied access to online.     Una estafa.. nos venden un juego acabado por 40€ y despues no funciona online.. hace una semana que tengo el juego y solo he podido jugar un dia sin problemas.. todos los demas.. se cae cada 2 horas.. solo hay que mirar twitter..

    Купил игру 20 летней давности, поиграть не дают. Неделю крашились сервера, не пускало. Сегодня захожу там очередь ввели, как в ВоВ. Это нормально?

    Место в очереди 237, жду 30 минут что-бы войти в игру. Персонажи пропадают, а затем появляются заново. Что за херня у вас с серверами?!

    The game itself is nice. The gameplay is like classic d2(+lod). BUT the envroiment (battlenet) does not work properly. We hade like 5 times 15:00 - 18:00~21:00 downtimes in the last 10days. Now they set up waiting-queues, u ve to wait 10-30min just to play. The game itself crashs to desktop frequently.

    Не могу понять одного. Как можно так налажать с серверами? Реально, ну просто непоиграть. То тупо бнет лежал, теперь очереди и не пускает. А когда играть вообще?

    Игра деrbmo! Потому что дисконнекты и потеря прогресса, вылеты на рабочий стол, и пропажа воли халима из инвентаря, а это полный аnoos!! Я bля собирал волю халима, а они отбирают!

    The game itself is great and looks very good. I have spent in the original Diablo 2 handreds of hours. And now after I purchased the remaster I have loved to play more. But I can't.

    This is a best game with maximum additive gameplay. This game was released completed. I was happy to play and ended game on maximum level of hardcore. I have complit Diablo II. Achivment complit. But after 3 weeks after release servers still dont work. Why developers? Why the most popular mode don't work?

    Cant log in, i dont understand how D3 characters can be played online and offline, but D2 dont have that option ... after 20 years ... its unnaceptable.     Близзард пробило очередное дно! Игру продали и поставили игроков перед фактом - ввели очереди! Ждешь по 40-50 минут, через 20 минут тебя выкидывает из игры и опять стоишь в очереди!     Diablo II: Resurrected is a failure. If you want to play the game, have in mind that they don't have a way to restore player data. Any random rollbacks are time lost for you. No refunds will be given if the game removes your progress or even deletes your hero by a random chance. We are paying full price for a beta game, announced as fully released.

    The servers are down. I waited in line for an hour then it didn't load and I had to wait over an hour again. I will never buy a Blizzard game for the full amount again.

    Diablo II: Resurrected is far from perfect. The changes in character design are likely to rile up returning players, and the archaic gameplay probably won’t agree with younger generations weaned on more streamlined, sophisticated experiences. While I appreciate that this legendary title is now available in an improved format, it’s not a caveat-free recommend.

    Diablo II: Resurrection is outdated return of the legend, but it brings such a perfect atmosphere and such a wonderful audiovisual processing, that serie fans will be excited.

    Diablo II returns with refreshed graphics and unaltered gameplay (apart from some small improvements). It’s as fun as I remembered, so I quickly felt at home and gave in to nostalgia. However, it’s hard not to notice that beneath revamped visuals lies a 21 years old design. [12/2021, p.32]
