Feb 7, 2012This is a fun and challenging game, I will agree that PC gaming has been held back by the weaker console ports. The game has A LOT of style, but the animations, graphics, lighting, and more is weak. I used a graphics mod to fix this. I liked this game but I never played the first. I found the stealth fun and my favorite over the shooting. This is a fun game but has its flaws.

Feb 6, 2012Ok, I have finished playing Human Revolution and I must say my first rating and review was a bit overreacted (I gave 4). On the other hand there is number of issues with this game.
For me the major concern is related to the character moving too fast and total absence of smooth graphics in-game (and itâ -

Jan 22, 2012A little overrated... I enjoyed it, especially how there were always many ways to get through somewhere, but the RPG elements are very weak. The story is alright, but it's a little cliched and predictable at times. At times the game got a bit dull, but it was worth persevering with. Overall an enjoyable experience, but certainly nothing special.

Jan 19, 2012the gameplay is a great game allowing you to beat a level however you want, hack your way, stealth, killing, you choose, my only problems are the bosses as they require lots of ammo and are overpowering, but luckily bosses do not apear that often so it is not that bad.

Jan 18, 2012This is very atmospheric game. Level desigh looks very good(no-linear). Soundtrack is EPIC and gameplay great and It is a lot of passage variants, with a stealth and without. This game is epic. Instant Buy.

Jan 15, 2012Pretty bad. While the graphics are reasonably good, the frame rate is absolutely terrible even on a reasonably fast computer (5750, i5-2500). Lots of random slowdowns, and 5-10 fps out in Detroit. If you don't like stealth games, you won't like this game; the FPS and RPG angles are pretty poorly done. I stopped playing after about 4 hours.

Jan 10, 2012Deus Ex was a game which excelled in all areas but still just had something... missing. The game was extrodinarily fun, had excellent gameplay, above average graphics, some of the best stealth in any game, but still was missing... something. That edge which makes a game transcend the 9-10 border. Deserving of a nine? Absolutely. Ten? Just... not quite.

Jan 3, 2012Man, for the first few hours this game was amazing. It's almost a perfect game. However there are way too many bugs that cause me to waste time starting over. This is the most frustrating thing ever.
-
Jan 1, 2012Well, story is a bit ugly, but nice at the same time. Very frustrated by the CG scenes, I expected more after such a beautiful trailer. Everything else is great.
-
Jan 1, 2012READ SYRIK 117 persons agree with him . This is a boring games . Undevoted workmanship ! employees doing the danse that the Boss want to see ! if it was an Indi i would have give it a 7 , but from a big cie and tons of cash spent a big ZERO .
-
Jan 1, 2012This is an excellent cyber-punk game with very nice rpg gameplay, amazing graphics, and a deep cyber story with references to Phillip Dick, William Gibson. The only negative to this title is the boss fights.

Dec 22, 2011Love it. Love the game, love the music. I never played the two games before this, the first i knew was good, but it seemed a bit too old and the second one was rated bad. But this one, is just perfect

Dec 17, 2011If you are a true Deus Ex fan then this is a must, is you're not then this REALLY IS A MUST! A engrossing world with great atmosphere, excellent soundtrack, freedom of choice and strong replay value. The visuals are also outstanding in some areas however some facial animations are a bit stiff!

Dec 6, 2011Ever game has a color about it. Saints row is purple, Brink is light blue, Deus Ex is yellow. Also its a very unique shooter greatly using cover, stealth, hacking, and overall strategy. Or you can set it to easy mode and just play it like a more standard game which I ended up doing, cuz I was really bad at it lol 8/10

Nov 28, 2011Excellent game. Gives the very same feeling as the original game, where you are free to make your own choices, and those choices have a permanent effect in the world. This makes the game very immersive, where you really give a thought on every move you make.

Nov 23, 2011Definitely a worthy game in the Deus Ex line unlike the nightmare of IW. Great story, interesting characters, a unique art design, and q phenomenal soundtrack really make it an experience. However, boss fights can be a pain with certain augmentations.

Nov 15, 2011It lives up the Deus Ex name, full of great. with a slight glitch hear and there but not enough to keep you from enjoying a great story and gameplay. simply worth its retail price.

Nov 12, 2011This game is an awesome installement in the franchise, but isn't as good as its predecessor. But that's to be expected, since the original Deus Ex is, in my opinion, the best game ever made. You shouldn't regret buying this if you are looking for an awesome adventure.

Nov 11, 2011Brilliant immersive gameplay, a simply outstanding game! The story is excellent, I feel they captured the original perfectly! The voice acting could have done a little better, but other than that, brilliance.
-
Nov 11, 2011Game is decent, nothing more
Graphics are a bit plain, animations in some cases are really bad, boss fights are silly, replayability is imo none, once i finished it i felt no urge to play it over again, which for a "gdr-like" game is bad
This game is way worse (considering the ages that passed) than the original ones -

Nov 10, 2011This is my first Deus Ex game.

Likable Characters and Great Atmosphere.

Nov 10, 2011A really nice, well made game. I didn't enjoy the original one that much but the trailer set up the hype for me. And rarely any games meet up with the hype. Totally deserves a 9 from me

Nov 9, 2011Quite the Excellent game. Probably one of the best single player campaigns I've ever played. The Amount of different outcomes in encounters depending on your augments is fun enough on it's own. Excellent: Story , Characters , Art Design , Music , and surprisingly voice acting as well.

Nov 5, 2011It would have been a 9 if the boss fights were not so forced and difficult. I needed to use meta-game knowledge to beat Beret and looking for it forced it forced me to learn spoilers I didn't want to see.
-
Nov 4, 2011Great game, it is a HUGE game to complete (Must have put in well over 25 hours and still haven't finished it yet as I'm doing all sidequests) , Sexy graphics , smooth controls and a deep, engaging plot with twists and turns.
Another example of a great 2011 game. Eidos Interactive deserve a pat on the back for this. -

Nov 3, 2011Game of 2011 for me, gameplay was amazing, the whole thing is so dynamic i love having the choice of going guns blazing or sneaking. Graphics were good too. The storyline could have been a little better but i still enjoyed it and the bosses were far too easy even on a harder level, hence the 9.
-
Nov 1, 2011Consolidis shows through quite badly (how hard would it be to just let the PC guys download hires-texture packs and high-definition model packs?) but I was blown away by Eidos Montreal's vision and execution. Refresingly DE: HR manages to avoid cutscene worshippery and let's the player do the decisions.

Oct 18, 2011This game is a great way to lose about 40-60 hours of your life. It pulls you in and crafts a world that simply begs for exploration. I fear it has limited replay ability, but that doesn't detract from the first or second run-through.

Oct 17, 2011Having finished the game I can say it seems to be a typical modern game. It was far short and the ending is so ambiguous as to make me wonder why you end it that way. Stealth and trying to finish the game without killing people is almost impossible. It was fun but again seems to be lacking in depth

Graphics may not be the best, but still looking good.
First time I beat the game made me start again on hardest difficulty.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Oct 30, 2011There are only a few games this year we suggest to 16-yrs old gamers and their fathers together. Human Revolution for sure is a Game of the Year nominee. [Oct 2011]

Oct 18, 2011So despite the odds being stacked against it, Eidos Montreal accomplished the impossible and brought us a Deus Ex in the true sense of the word, probably the best one that we could have hoped for considering the current "requirements" for being commercially successful nowadays.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 10, 2011A worthy successor to one of the greatest games ever. It offers a lot of choice on many levels and feels like an RPG from years past - in a very good way. One of the best, if not the best game of 2011. [Oct 2011]
