    At first I thought this game is amazing but it's so flawed that it only deserves 0/10 imo.
    The PvP is even worse than the one in dishonored. P2P, Broken Matchmaking and you can't f***ing reconnect if you game kicks you out for no reason.
    The PvE content is pretty boring once you finished the raid and the story.

    A major problem I found with this was the aimlessness of it, which leads to a complete lack of any sense of investment. For instance the Main Quest, something you'd expect to be some sort of epic story, is "Complete activities… to acquire gear and raise your level." Meanwhile the interface gives no clear idea of where to find specific activities. I looked at all the planets and didn't see the word "strikes". I got bored and left. Because of this aimlessness you won't feel invested. If you do take a break, even for Christmas or a family holiday, when you come back chances are your character will look like crap because the armors and characters are so ugly so there won't even be that to give you some sense of investment. You'll find characters with guns and so many missions each that there'll be no focus to carry you forward, which was why I stopped playing for a while in the first place, but absence doesn't make the heart fonder, it just makes it worse. I wish I'd never wasted my time with it. Uninstalling.… Expand

    APPARENTLY IF YOU DON'T BUY THE DLC YOU CAN'T DO PRESTIGE RAID, PRESTIGE NIGHTFALL OR TRIALS. Seriously? Wow..... I don't know what to say. I mean especially for the PC Players this seems really unfair, and even for the console players, to be gated out of content they paid for and had access to. Just, wow. So I guess not buying DLC isn't an option anymore.... Extremely dissapointing.

    This game will teach you to hate it every step of the way. it will tease you with multiplayer features, only to make sure nobody realizes to turn them on to actually make them work. You will turn them on, search for days, not even strikes, or crucible matches, the only freaking things that put you in teams will allow chat because of most peoples chat settings. Have a blast, and the game will mess up some damned door and you will be separated. You will shout "Hey wait for me, I'm stuck!" They may hear you, they will look back to where you are. See the door open and say, "I can see you!" and then the game will decide "WHOA WHOA WHOA! What is this, HACKING?!" Maybe kick you out, and give you an animal as a "error code" which I'm sure is actually a real thing that the "smart" and not mentally challenged people at Bungie came up with. Or then it will split the two of you to different instances, allowing absolutely no way for you to reconnect. That friend you made? It was a ghost, it was a lie and was put there to make sure you know you're playing a game by developers that don't care about making a social game. They just want to sell you 100$ worth of **** and laugh at you for trying to enjoy it.

    My advice. Join the first clan you are invited into. If they suck, which they most likely will, leave and wait for the next one. Clans is the "minimized exposure" that Bungie has designed for the socially frail people that are online these days. Made to ensure you only ever meet at most 100 people at a time, if you dare to. Or in the very least, add every single player you see that waves at you as a friend, then later on kick them off if they are just listening to terrible music and have no idea they also have a microphone on their laptop. Join any player with an open fire team, these people are grave individuals, they are willing to meet people online?! Making friends in this game is the hardest challenge Bungie has invented with this latest release.    … Expand

Black screen replaced with map and screen frozen. Rest of game inaccessible. Bungie support site general recommendations don't work. They say they can't offer support. They should say they "won't".     The game's story is short and padded out with a few pointless side quests as well. The game doesn't really take off until post game (level 20) at which point you can start doing strikes and getting Legendary Gear. The game plateaus at item level 260 at which point you basically need Legendary and Exotic Ingrams to get any better gear.     However, be very careful for playing this game as I got banned for latency issues with no way to appeal. Apparently, it is embedded in their terms of user agreement.    … Expand

    The only redeeming quality to this game is the graphics, with everything else being dull and bland. The gameplay is horrendously boring with both PVE and PVP being a total snoozefest.

    Fizeram a mesma cagada ridícula do primeiro jogo. Vc paga 250 reais no jogo + passe de temporada que NÃO INCLUÍ o jogo completo e vc tem que pagar mais 100 reais pra ter o passe anual que vem com várias expansões que serão lançadas. Os inimigos são muito fáceis de matar e a campanha extremamente chata com uma história muito ruim e piadinhas que só retardado acha engraçado.     This is the Destiny 1.1 the Cabal DLC. Its apparent when you fight the same enemy from the first game with the same character classes with 1 new subclass. Campaign is way too short. Once you are near max power level there is nothing for you to do. I thought I get a Destiny 1 remake, but no, this game is crap... no content, no pvp modes, no raids, weapons, all the same, public events are boring like hell, Strikes are the same... 1-2 maps and you do them over and over again, not even difficult to do, just turn off your brain and press the click ... and then comes the optimizationThis game purchase was my biggest mistake this year...     One hour before release: "SSSE3 Required: Destiny 2 will not run on processors without Supplemental Streaming SIMD Extensions 3 (SSSE3)" what more is there to say? Never again buying from Bungie/Activision ever again. Refunding my money immediately.

    Don't support businesses with such shady practices.

    Campaign is boring (no surprises here), the game removed the special weapons we had in D1 with another primary gun making the dynamic of gunfights repetitive as hell. The new DLC came out and it cut me out of content i could do prior to the DLC, the DLC sucks and is boring. The raid only has one boss fight, the RNG perks are gone from guns and all the perks are boring.     Destiny is as a series comparable to an empty present box. Its all decorated outside, sparkly and even has a ribbon. The box however, is empty. You'll spend more time opening the box than enjoying whats inside, because there is nothing in the box. Its empty.

    The gameplay is a boring grind with no challenge and has nothing new to offer, the story is full of holes and simply garbage, the characters have no character and are forgettable, the multiplayer aspect is simply not there and half of the game is locked behind a paywall.
    Destiny 2? No, its simply destiny 1.5. This whole series is a lie.

    Keeps crashing every 10 min and in 7 hours of gameplay i have only done 12 levels because of this problem. I really wish i could get my money back

Fresh Windows installs with only destiny 2 installed and people are getting banned the second they log in for the first time. BE WARNED. Do not play on PC right now until you can find confirmation this has been(UPDATE) PC players are getting banned in droves for using things like discord or shadowplay while playing Destiny 2. No real response from bungie and no way to revert the ban. Fresh Windows installs with only destiny 2 installed and people are getting banned the second they log in for the first time. BE WARNED. Do not play on PC right now until you can find confirmation this has been resolved.

    Pro - Great Graphics and Excellent Optimization out of the gate.

    Con - Gameplay: Mindless, repetitive shooting against AI that acts solely as a bullet sponge. The campaign is so poorly written but tries to maintain the appearance of an epic story that after the first couple of hours you are just trying to get through it as fast as you can. Compared to games released in 2017, it is shallow and unrewarding.

    Your hope when playing is that once you hit lvl 20 (a meaningless number) you can finally start the "end game" which is to become more powerful to prepare you for the harder activities like nightfall and the raid. Shortly after reaching 20 the true disappointment sets in - your only options are to run the same handful of public events over and over again to get tokens (which feel so tedious and unrewarding) to get the same reskinned weapons with higher stats until you hit 265 powerlevel. This can take you a few hours to achieve post 20.

    After that the little incentive to play plummets. Your options are to make another character and repeat the same unrewarding, braindead story and just do a few weekly milestones on each character. Or grind the same things pre-265 over and over hoping for an exotic drop. Its a tiny bit of content used over and over again without any feeling of progression or reward.

    Lastly the "customization" present in this game is laughable. Two skill trees that have no options and forces you to use every point in the tree remove all options. Weapon customization is non-existant, you are using the same reskinned guns that you receive all through the early game. The cosmetic items are primary locked behind in-game purchases and are one time use. They ONLY change a color...

    To call this a mmo is an insult to an already dying genre. To call this a shooter is an insult to the few great games that have been released. To call this an RPG is an insult to games like Divinity 2 that have been released this year.

    The game doesnt know what it wants to be, it has the most shallow elements of each genre and the result is a highly polished, good looking game that has no depth or value.    … Expand

    Worst game I have purchased this year and one of the worst I've ever played. Here are all the things you should be aware of before purchasing:

    - Campaign is very short, very linear. From the very beginning you know that you have to kill a token "bad guy" named Gary and once you do that - that's it. All you have left with is s-l-o-w-l-y grind your "power level" using repeatable    Worst game I have purchased this year and one of the worst I've ever played.     - The "raid" thing: there's only one so far and it's easily exploitable for now, with several ways to significantly "shorten" it.
    - The PvP system: just a bad joke with only 4v4 mode.
    - Social features: another bad joke. No good text chat system (especially for things like guild/group), no good voice system (not even proximity voice chat), most of the communications with other players are done through very few available emotes (unless you'll somehow coax other person into installing a Discord or other third-party chat/VoIP client). The whole "clan" system is another joke - it barely works now, causing people performance issues (just by joining clan) or issues with not displaying any clan members in clan list. Oh, and fun fact: you can't see your clan members in any in-game location unless you actively group with them (because the in-game world is EXTREMELY instanced). And even the grouping system is a joke because it only allows 3 or 4 people per group (depending on the activity).
    - Game world feels "empty" most of the time - occasionally you might see someone joining in the Public Event... Or you might be stuck doing it all by yourself, with only a couple of other random people just doing their own thing on the same "planet" area. This is due to very anti-social and highly instanced "hybrid" client-server/p2p system Bungie is using even on PC platform.

    The only "positive" thing you might notice is that the game engine performs very well even on low-powered PC. But that's kind of expected considering that you won't see many players in any area anyway (especially for PvP mode). All in all, no way in hell it is worth its current retail price (unless you'll get your "review copy" for free so you can write a mandatory "10/10" review), and if you still want to try it out - wait for it to go on sale for $10-15 sometime next year then buy it, your in-game experience won't be different but at least you'll save a significant amount of money.    … Expand

    Quite a boring game. The game mechanics were quite poor. Multiplayer loading took a very long time to join a game. Very grindy game--lots of repetitive mob killing. The story was not interesting to me. The voice acting was poor.

    I also asked for a refund, and got denied.

No, i wasnt feeling well, i felt **** sad.

    This game has so much potential, how about one huge open world, with stories, events, quests for legendary gear, pvp, treasure hunting, constant progression, perks, so many different weapons you could have a loadout not everyone playing the same class as you had. a game that rewards exploring, crafting combining recources with shaders and mods to get armour pieces that were utterly unique, That would be amazing!

    instead i am left with an impression of being scammed, this game promised so much, had so much potential, the game looks gorgeous. Just imagine, if one of the zombies working at bungie had said; guys, lets make this game the mother**** best game open world rpg shooter the world has ever **** seen. Lets make the god damn World of Warcraft of shooters. No, instead they make a theme-park piece of crap that looks golden but has less content then my Instagram DM`s.

    I was able to play during Beta and that was enjoyable with decent graphics (not much improvement over Destiny) and the experience was far better than on console. Was it worth the outlandish price they're charging? Absolutely not.

    Worst of all, they removed content from the original game and put it behind a DLC paywall!

The only thing that has improved is more cut scenes, but they offset this by literally destroying the established lore, and its pretty clear they have no clue where they want to take the game. Lastly almost no reason to play the endgame content, and skill weapons feel terrible and unrewarding.

    its a cash grab, stay away from it. DLC pay walls, Copy-paste content, Loot-boxes and ofc my personal favorute, NO-DEDICATED SERVERS.

    Yay destiny for pc! Except it's not even close to as good as destiny 1, even though they just reused almost every game asset except gun models and landscape. They managed to ruin PVP and complete laziless and lack of vision results in a really sad product.

    The game is extremely unstable. It will lock up and crash. It is near impossible to play though without crashing. Game crashes with a NULL pointer, meaning parts of the game were stripped out and there are bad pointers in the code. This is 100^ the fault of the architects of the game. Bungee should fire the entire team from the Architects, project managers and up.

    This game was a total waste of time. If you want a fun, engaging loot and shooter, play Borderlands. The characters are completely bland, the story is pitiful and uninspired. Don't waste your money.

    A huge disappointment and retreat from what was accomplished in Destiny 1. Destiny 2 was watered down, shortened, stripped of any power fantasy and retconned much of the lore/story. Do not buy.

    Destiny 2 is a greedy game. Removing previous content, adding it to DLC, and the sheer amount of money they want for you to play this game in it's entirety is inexcusable. Right now, you'd have to spend $120 to play this game entirely. It's the most insane thing I've ever heard for a video game. I'm just sad I pre-ordered and spent the $60 a did.     When I first started playing this game it seemed to me that she was like a loving girl for whom I spend my time, and she makes me happy. However, with each closeness, I began to notice that she was pulling her hands to my credit card ... So I realized that this game is not like a girlfriend, but a whore.

    Pvp mode make two and a half people. Balance? F u balance, too hard to make, let's face 2 vs 4 in competitiv, so fun! Play yourself in your **** Bungie!

    So Destiny 2 the first play-through was quite exciting and I loved it(I played as hunter class) and then I decided to play another class(the magic one) and that is the moment when I found out it very boring since no new weapons no new ways to play it was the same shooter game with different abilities(which I used rarely when playing as hunter) basically classes are not unique IMO.
    Also at    So Destiny 2 the first play-through was quite exciting and I loved it(I played as hunter class) and then I decided to play another class(the magic one) and that is the moment when I found out it very boring since no new weapons no new ways to play it was the same shooter game with different abilities(which I used rarely when playing as hunter) basically classes are not unique IMO.
    Also at the 2nd play-through I noticed that AI are hiding behind the obstacles whenever I aim at them which was frustrating since killing a lesser enemy with such an effort and no reward for it was kinda frustrating...basically you have to approach the enemy in the melee combat to not feel the frustration...
    So the game has interesting storyline especially I loved the "failsafe"..., but not so good boss fights and overall the only thing that I found interesting in this game is the first play-through. Afterwards the game got too frustrating booring and felt like I am in a fancy, but limited box which has nothing to offer after completing the storyline! Like go play unbalanced and unenjoyable "PVP" or spend tons of hours to get extra 1 armor or damage...    … Expand

    While Destiny 2 has a solid foundation and a robust story campaign, its endgame content feels a little lacklustre. The sandbox doesn't have a whole lot of depth, and plumbing each of the hub worlds for secrets doesn't feel that rewarding. Grinding Public Events, Raids, and Strikes with friends is definitely a lot of fun, but there's a huge disconnect between content being cleared and your character strength increasing. There's still a lot of room for Destiny 2 to grow but, for now, it's still got a few kinks to work out.
