    Amazing game! And optimization is 10/10 because on my PC it runs @ 4K 120 fps RTX ON without stuttering and without fps drops

    The only positive thing I can say about this stuttering, repetitive and un-inventive game is that it inspired me to replay the original Dishonored since this game plays exactly the same as that nearly decade old game however Deathloop has none of the charm, interesting level design or quests like Dishonored has.

    Deathloop gets 10 out of 10 from Gamespot, IGN and other popular titles. Our peach patriarch didn’t finish playing, but he always recommends it. And no one says anything about bugs - even on PS5 (on PC, people are already drowning the game in negative comments). The technical execution of the game is terrible, the problem with sudden slowdowns (thanks Denuvo) and lags in multiplayer wasDeathloop gets 10 out of 10 from Gamespot, IGN and other popular titles. Our peach patriarch didn’t finish playing, but he always recommends it. And no one says anything about bugs - even on PS5 (on PC, people are already drowning the game in negative comments).     Deathloop is a great game !! Arkane is a great Studio, and the studio gives us a complete work.
    The art direction is superb, just like in "Dishonored 1 and 2", the atmosphere is incredible, and they dominate their subject even in the level design.
    It's a good FPS, with good sensations in hand. For those who have some framerate problems, you just have to lower 1 or 2 options in the menu,    Deathloop is a great game !! Arkane is a great Studio, and the studio gives us a complete work.

    For those who have some framerate problems, you just have to lower 1 or 2 options in the menu, and remove the V-sync (but enable it in the nVidia menu of your PC), and then no freeze, no lag, no latency: I'm at 60fps constant with an RTX3070

    The story is gripping from the beginning to the end, and you have to let yourself be guided for the first 2 hours, to then live your adventure as you wish, exactly as with the other games from Arkane Studio (Prey , Dishonored...)

    After more than 20 hours of play, and I haven't finished yet, I still have the same pleasure to play it, and I think it could be the GOTY of the year!

    C'est un excellent jeu, avec une D.A et un level design de haute volée !
    L'histoire est aussi intéréssante à suivre, du début à la fin.
    Ceux qui ont aimé les autres titres du studio (Dishonored, Prey...), vous allez adoré aussi Deathloop.
    Par contre le début risque de vous questionner, alors laissez vous guider les 2 premières heures du jeu pour ensuite pouvoir jouer comme vous l'entendez !

    Pour moi, il peut être dans la liste des GOTY de l'année !!!

    This is hands down the most amazingly, awesome game out there for PC/PS5! It has a combination of these games, all of which I loved: sneaking around assasinations= Hitman / Hitman 2. Hacking and codebreaking and finding your way into secure buildings= Deus Ex and Deus Ex 2, An on-going save system that feels like a real life experience, rather than a Save / Load your game type of videogameThis is hands down the most amazingly, awesome game out there for PC/PS5! It has a combination of these games, all of which I loved: sneaking around assasinations= Hitman / Hitman 2. Hacking and codebreaking and finding your way into secure buildings= Deus Ex and Deus Ex 2, An on-going save system that feels like a real life experience, rather than a Save / Load your game type of videogame =Bioshock, and some games I haven't played but here are good: Dishonored, and Dishonored 2.

    The top ten things about this game are from 10 being least cool to 1 being Awesomeness:
    10. Guns, lots of guns! Makes The Matrix look like a 1st day in the army where this is World War III. Think Borderlands games lots, not quite, but you get my idea.
    9. You can hack anything that has a radio reciever. Didn't you wish you could hack a radio reciever in real life in the city, such as a cellphone tower? Well here you can. That keeps me coming back for more hacking tomorrow and the next day.
    8. The AI chases you down and kills you. In the beginning, the first 5-10 hours the AI is very easy as it's in 'learning mode' once you keep playing after 9 hours you'll begin to realize how hard-core the AI can be. I was head-shotted by a sniper rifle, not Juliana human now..., but an NPC sniper on the side of the ridge. Shot through a window, I died. Very fast.
    7. Juliana can be your worst nightmare or your most trusted friend: I enjoy killing other players as human Juliana. I enjoy other Julianas' invading my game too, to try to ruin my day. But what I like most? I can have my family member play as Juliana and we can kill the NPCs together, even the bosses.
    6. There is no linear mission play-through. You cannot say: You will do this, that, and then next that. There are recommended guides online on order of doing things, but you can do them a different way anyway. The guide said there were 2 ways. I discovered 5 different ways to assassinate Harriet in the morning. See if you can too.
    5. If you enjoyed old-school games like Bioshock and Deus Ex, you will absolutely love this. It will blow you away. As it has aspects from many older games all put into one package. Liked Borderlands 1, 2 , and 3? Then you'll fit right at home here. Did you enjoy the 'magic' plasmids in Bioshock? Yep, check! Liked hacking like I did in Deus Ex? Here you can hack anything with an antenna. Welcome to Deathloop.
    4. There is no death. Only learning Yes you can die temporarily, but you are immortal repeating time, and you remember EVERYTHING. it's Monday tomorrow, it's Monday next week, and yes, you guessed it, it's Monday in 40 years until you break the loop. One day, you will learn how to break the loop.
    3. OP like there is no tomorrow. Sure there is overkill in other games. Not like Deathloop, no way. Deathloop brings overkill and overpowered terminology to a whole new level. Try throwing a sticky grenade to someone's body then shooting the stick grenade and watch the fireworks. How about tossing a grenade on the floor between two men and then diving out the window. Can you do that in Call of Duty? No, but it would be nice if you could. Now you can and you feel and act as quiet as a silent killer too... see reason #2.
    2. I always wanted to be a hitman, in a videogame. I loved the Hitman 1 and 2 games. What I missed was the fusion of silence & guns blazing. Here you can do both. Some days I do completely silent kills, I mean that, not a single bullet sound but perhaps a silent needle gun. The next, I will go out with an explosive-bullet shotgun and blow the whole city up.
    1. Nearly unlimited character development. I have not seen a game yet, that comes to this level of character development. Without spoiling here, there are 3 forms of development for Colt and Juliana. 1. Body upgrades, 2. Weapon upgrades, 3. Magic upgrades.

If you want you can wait a year until it comes out on Xbox or Game Pass and get game pad for $10 a month and play it and 100s more games that way.

    Crashloop or Groundhog Day.

    The game crashes at the same spot everytime so I can't progress & complete the main quest. Support is not helping. Steam doesn't refund since I played more than 2 hours before facing the problem.

    The idea of replaying 4 small maps over & over sucks: same enemies & items in the same spots...

I played through the whole thing because of the respect I have for the company that made Dishonored, which is an amazing franchise, the respect that they didn'tUnfinished product.     The story and the whole game could have been told in 2 hours, and the complex **** was in the end completely irrelevant.

    Gameplay-wise is Dishonored 2 but worse. The "powers" come for no reason, the explanation is "because potato", in Dishonored you have powers and there's an explanation for them, here the explanation is completely stupid.

    There are thousand of things not explained in the game, there are many Colts in the same timeline, for no reason (the loop doesen't affect other timelines), there's phrases throught the game telling you what to do, for no reason, and Colt lost his memory, for no reason. This happens every single time.

    The last thing I will talk about is the completely unnecessary ammount of text. There are notes everywhere, and they are not simple extra content, they are relevant to the story, so relevant that you NEED to read them, and it makes the pace of the game a bumpy road.

    Terrible, for real, Arkane better changes their approach and make a game on the level of Dishonored if they want people to believe in them again.    … Expand

    Denuvo causes micro stutters

    After Dishonored was good, but the sequels were not i was worried about this. And yeah its not great. Main characters are not likable, we can't the player character at all. Very few areas and its only one day repeated. Its a trial and error to pass this, you don't feel get any sense of progression from playing like other Bethesda games.

Although I'm not a fan of immersiveness, unlike Dishonored, I played differently. Stealth, rush, pacifism, and it's not that the game doesn't punish murder, but that it's just fun.     No windows 10, no game. **** you arkane for forcing me into swapping for this **** OS, which I do not want. Windows 7 is perfectly fine and microsoft can go **** themselves with their ****ty OS. Good news is, when I read the reviews, I don't feel like I'm missing out.

    este juego se siente como ser un bebe pajaro, te enseña lo basico y cual madre cruel te lanza del nido sin importale lo que te pase, a partir de ahora estas solo, sin guia y puedes hacer todo segun tu gustes, nada es lineal (excepto el tutorial) realmente se siente la libertad de planear todo a tu gusto, perfectamente podria necesitar apuntar un plan en papel para acabar con los 8 a laeste juego se siente como ser un bebe pajaro, te enseña lo basico y cual madre cruel te lanza del nido sin importale lo que te pase, a partir de ahora estas solo, sin guia y puedes hacer todo segun tu gustes, nada es lineal (excepto el tutorial) realmente se siente la libertad de planear todo a tu gusto, perfectamente podria necesitar apuntar un plan en papel para acabar con los 8 a la vez, sin duda uno de los juegos mas inmersivos

    /Here you play as Colt, stuck in a loop, and to break the loop you decide your going to kill all of the visionarieries.. heres the problem… theres are 4 levels… and 4 times of day.. there are 9 total people to kill… and every day the loop restarts.. basically everything you do in a day is reset as if it never happened, so what youl lbe doing is day by day, morning noon afternoon nd night, finding a new lead, gathering more and mor information so that you can learn their on repeat daily routines, and find the moments where your targets are on the same map at the same time, or find ways to sabotage them for later on… and I loved it.. im so surprised how much I loved this game especially since the hwole point is to play the same 4 levels over and over and over across 12 hours… I though t there is no way Im going to enjoy this. Especially as a backtracking hater.. but I loved it.. here you start with one gun and the ability to double jump, as you go through levels youl lhave to take guns from enemies, you can stealth through this game or go in guns blazing, but you have to be careful, youre only allowed to die twice in a level, if you die a 3rd time the entire day restarts and you lost everything you’ve collected.. you also lose it all at the end of the day, but eventually you do have the ability to collect the games in game currency to be able to infuse your gear and restart each loop with it. But where is all the best gear? Its on your targets.. so you can kill these 9 harcters over and over and over, getting the best weapons in the game, but not only that.. they have abilities oy uxn infuse and take with you, like the teleporting ability from dishonored, you can link enemies together and if you kill one in a link they all die, you can turn invisible, do a force pushl.. the abilities and combinging them with eachother and your weapons make this game so fun.. and as you keep killing these charcters, if you already have that ability oyull gain an upgrade for that ability… its not all huntig and lead finding though theres a charcter called jullianna that’s trying to protect the loop..she is either controlled by a friend, a random person online, or the computer depeneding on your game settings, she can come in at anytime trying to kill you, though you do get some nice rewards if you kill her first.. but you can also just escape if she enters..
    Deathloop is a crazy game, it’s a blast at times.. but the game does definitely overstay its welcome a bit.. especially for a gme that expects you to play out the same scenarios over and over and over.. by the end I was just dashing through levels as fast as I could.. no care to explore.. felt no incentive to explore and the game definitely isn’t the best to look at.. how are we in 2021 on new consoles, with a AAA developer in a game where there are only 4 not that big levels.. and it looks like a late ps3 game..
    And other tiny gripes but gripes that do exist, are the missions where you can make one small mistake and oyu have to restart the entire loop.. there are no checkpoints here.. so while you can cheese it by closing out the game and loading back in if you die too much or make a wrong choice, its still annoying to have to start the whole level from the beginning
    Overall though Deathloop is such a unique game that I ended up loving almost as much as the dishonored series..
    I give Deathloop

    Great begin. The interesting visual style, but ... They promised a very cool immersive sim, but in the end, it turned out to be a very linear parody of dishonored. The game is linear. There is very little variability. The finale of the game is disappointing. There are also a lot of bugs.

    You can wait for a 50-60% discount and take it, but buying it for the full price is stupidity.

    The whole idea of the game is nice but Arkane doesn't take it far enough- which makes Deathloop a decent but boring shooter.

    Boring gameplay from 2012. Poor graphics and sound. Zero screeplay and story. Runs horribly on PC. I have a high end pc yet with everything on low I still get about 25 fps in combat

    Death loop has taken the dishonored experience and made a slow burning story that just builds as the player progresses. At first it can feel overwhelming when you first begin, but after the first couple hours of tutorials and introduction of story the game opens up into this vast expansive universe constantly changing depending on the players choices. Do not look at this game as a normal semi linear first person adventure but rather a rogue-like game where the story changes just as much as the gameplay. Decisions made in the morning can change entire parts of the map later in the day all to unlock a little bit more of the story. Like a giant jigsaw puzzle, every loop adds a little more to the picture of what is going on. Until finally you have a perfectly executed day where everything comes together and there is just this moment of utter satisfaction. If you like the film edge of tomorrow this definitely has that feel to it.

    My one slight issue with the game is that it feels not very optimized for PC. I have a decent PC that has not struggled to run pretty much any game I own, but deathloop just struggles if I have anything higher than medium graphics. I haven’t noticed much stuttering and only one instance of any extreme FPS drops, unlike some of the other people reviewing the game. For those on the fence I would perhaps wait if you are not sure if your PC can handle it, or perhaps try it on PS5 instead.    … Expand

    I'm a huge fan of Dishonored, no this isn't as magical for me, the setting and the gameplay don't grab me as much (that was 10/10 for me) but it still has a good gameplay loop, great gunplay, some interesting abilities and the looping game starts to reveal itself as you repeat it.

    It's a good game, it runs very well (my system is no longer new, with a I5 7560k and gtx 1070 but it runs great in 1080P) so has good optimisation, it looks really good. Interesting design choices.. very 70's feel. The look wasn't as fascinating to me as Dishonored but again good.

    For me it is a solid 8/10 game. I'm not going to hammer it for what it's not or where it isn't. Fair is a fair another good game from Arkane. I deeply dislike timed exclusives and I wish they had never made such a deal but I couldn't resist their game at fair PC prices and I am not disappointed.    … Expand

    It is a great little experiment with the familiar immersive sim formula which is not supposed to be more than it is. It is surely has some minor technical problems, but it doesn't make Deathloop a bad game. For me it is a solid 8, but I'll give it 9 just to compensate for an inadequate scores like 0, 1, 2...

    Deathloop is oozing with the style and quality that Arkane have in all their games. It's a brilliant concept combined with the Arkane DNA of solving things from multiple angles. If you loved dishonored then you'll love this.

    Deathloop is the kind of experience you can only get from video games and it's beautifully executed.

    This game is a dope like Bloodborne, but not only for hardcore gamers.
    It should be played in the online mode to enable Juliana interventions which will burst your adrenaline.

    Game runs absolutely smoothly without crashes on RTX 3070Ti, GPU utilization is about 60% at Very High settings. However, the game has well-known stuttering issue if VSync is off.

Arkane have stuck to the formula established with the Dishonored franchise - first person stealth/shooter with an onus on characterisation and story. Even the art style is preserved in essence. And you can't really blame them for that given the success of Dishonored but they seemed to have convinced themselves that by adding the contrived loop system to layer the story, they could then pull the handbrake on innovation. For all intents and purposes this is a third Dishonored title. The graphics look fine in their own stylised way but I wouldn't call them next gen. Some of the texture work looks pretty poor (see the sea). No DLSS and a game that seems to labour most PC systems. You could overlooko these things if the gameplay was really compelling but it really isn't. If you are playing on keyboard you will have a crap time with the shift dodge. The character movement generally doesn't feel very satisfying, The gunplay is mediocre - no real skill required. The worst thing about this game is the enemy AI which is basic and easily overcome. This added to the unnecessarily generous 3 lives you get make the whole thing vey staid. You never really feel like you are in peril. If you are outnumbered rush back to the threshold of the level segment and shoot from there. Why would I then care if I have a special version of this gun or another if they all get the job done? The characters are fun and the writing in general is refreshing and often funny but it's really not enough. I would avoid unless you really loved Dishonored and can't wait until Arkane start doing something interesting again.… Expand

    Bethesda support doesnt help, story is pretty boring, too much backtracking, it just gets boring after a while because you already visited every level many many times.

    I am very disappointed after Prey (2017) which I loved.

    Graphics: somehow the game looks worse than the footage we saw before the delay, which already looked bad.
    Story: boring and predictable.
    Conclusion: avoid this game, it is not worth it, Arkane simply have lost their touch.

    Only buy If you don't have a PS5 (Like most of us don't) Or You have an RTX 3090 and plan for ultra graphics 60fps.

    The Game is good story, gameplay and length wise but too buggy and unoptimized for the time being

    if on steam i would only buy if it was on sale for 20 dollars or less and they fixed most of the issues present at the moment.

Sure it's a sandbox, but since you can really only stealth or murder hobo, it's just not something that works on any level right at the start. I'm not interested in murdering nor being murdered.     Also, the UI is *baffling* on PC. Why game makers won't make mouse and keyboard specced UI and a gamepad specced UI for the consoles eludes me. The result was a mess of a presentation on PC, and no chance at a recommendation.

    Really liked it. A bit short and the AI isn't great but the idea of fusing a mystery/puzzle into a first person shooter is something I definitely wasn't expecting. Trust Arkane to think outside the box and deliver something surprising. It's not a 10/10 or game of the year but it's still a pretty damn fine game.

    El problema con el juego es que es un juego guiado, la mayor parte de objetivos datan a seguir múltiples caminos predefinidos por el juego, en vez de seguir caminos que uno vaya creando mientras vas investigando a tus oponentes, hay siete visionarios y cada uno representa un personaje distinto con múltiples características interesantes en sus vidas y personalidades que te pueden servir para asesinarlos, pero todo es algo que uno no va descubriendo, es algo que el juego te va presentado por medio de marcas de objetivos que tienes que seguir y cumplir, para muchos esto fue una clase de "engaño" por el cual el juego pretendió ser un juego de investigación, en vez de ser un juego que te trata de dar la ilusión de esta investigación.

    Es un juego bastante variable en cuanto a la dificultad también para muchos, en lo personal me encanto el balance, es desafiante y te demanda ser cuidadoso, pero para cuando llegas al final de juego, te sientes que puedes aplastar a cualquier oponente que el juego te lance, esto también es una negativa para varios, no para mí.

    Además, las armas, los hackeos, y la presentación me encanta, la vibra de los 60, pero con el estilo del que Arkhane es bien conocido por juegos como Dishonored, o Prey, está aquí, me encanta los distintos tipos de armas que puedes conseguir y la manera en como puedes mezclar diferentes poderes para cambiar la experiencia, me gusta también como el juego te incita a matar a los visionarios varias veces y a cazar a Julianna para conseguir mejoras a tu equipo, para el final del juego, no importaba si el juego me estaba guiando en su mayoría, la mayor parte de mis mejoras las había conseguido por mi propia voluntad y determinación, esto también hizo que se sintiera lo mas gratificante.

    En general el juego me encanto, lo único que no me gusto fue el final por que el juego tiene múltiples de ellos y yo me esforcé por buscar el "correcto" de acuerdo a los diseñadores, pero por un desliz de tan solo un par de segundos en la escena final del juego termine obteniendo el final equivocado del que no estaba interesado.

    Hasta ahora el juego a recibido bastantes parches y balances, asumo que es un juego aún mejor que cuando salió ya hace mas de un año, si no lo han jugado lo recomiendo bastante, es un juego fantástico, solo que un tanto engañoso en cuanto a sus promociones y videos, sigue siendo un juego guiado y bastante, pero además es un juego que sobre todo es impulsado por su historia, esto es.    … Expand

Gameplay is superfun and dynamic in the beginning, but after the midgame it becomes repetitive and you just want to end the damn loop already. Also, you can select the best weapons and abilities very early and don't know what to do with all the residuum in your backpack later on. The moment to moment gameplay unfortunately doesn't feel as good as previous games mentioned above. There is just something missing despite the stark similarities of the dishonoured games. Honestly, they lifted quite a few assets from those games, giving me a feeling that this world is somehow tied the world of Dishonored in some way.

    The real hook here is figuring out all the secrets and hints to slowly put together a "run" that successfully eliminates all the targets on your list. So basically it's a rogue like but things stay exactly the same every run through, and you just get better by repetition and remembering where things are and what time events play out. Fortunately the game does a pretty decent job of keeping track of things for you but in the heat of the moment it's a pain to have to look through all the notes and get your bearings.

    Long story short, it's still a pretty good immersive sim style game with a weird rogue like twist added in. I don't hate it. Not as good as Prey or the Dishonoured series though.    … Expand

The gameplay borrows aplenty from the incredible Dishonored series but somehow does it all wrong.     It's a great shooter with a really enjoyable story. Graphics are decent but performance was absolutely terrible. Managed to optimize the game to enjoy it at a stable framarate but it would still crash every now and then.

    I had almost no performance issues and the game is pretty fun and unique. It's not as polished and didn't have as much budget as the Dishonored games, but I still had fun with it as a fan of Arkane Studios' games

    The game has terrible optimization - RTX3070 and 8600K@4.8GHz was doing very mediocre. Otherwise the vibe of the game is alright, although a lot has been recycled from Dishonored. The game is pretty fun nevertheless.

    I like the concept of this, I really do. But the state of the result is so **** it is unbelievable. Whole thing seems to be designed for 1v1 multiplayer with little story and some cheap ai and it has a huge **** flaw - the multiplayer itself.     For the performance... everything was smooth and stable, until it wasn't :) I m not sure if there are some memory leaks or whatever, but while playing the game would gradually lose fps and after cca 2-3 hours it was able to get from 144 stable to unstable 75. That is dissapointing.    … Expand

    Deathloop sin duda es un juego muy entretenido. La base es una mezcla de juego de acción FPS con exploración y algo de plataformeo, y una dosis de sigilo. Todo eso en cuatro escenarios más o menos abiertos que cambian según en cual de los cuatro momentos del día entras. Si unes a eso los hasta cinco poderes que puedes conseguir, la variedad de armas y la personalización de los trinkets,Deathloop sin duda es un juego muy entretenido. La base es una mezcla de juego de acción FPS con exploración y algo de plataformeo, y una dosis de sigilo. Todo eso en cuatro escenarios más o menos abiertos que cambian según en cual de los cuatro momentos del día entras. Si unes a eso los hasta cinco poderes que puedes conseguir, la variedad de armas y la personalización de los trinkets, permite mucha flexibilidad en los estilos de juego. Es una base muy divertida de sandbox donde pasarlo bien. La historia obviamente va de loops temporales así que parte de la gracia está en descubrir qué consecuencias tiene afectar a un momento temporal en otros de los momentos, investigar lo que ha pasado y demás. El problema es que, en realidad, hay una única solución a la historia que hay que hacer de cierto modo, por lo que acaba llegando un punto en que dejas de investigar libremente para seguir las guías del juego en sus tramas y fuera.

    Gráficamente, el juego está bastante chulo, con una estética muy particular y que encaja mucho con si misma. Lo único malo es que como siempre son las mismas localizaciones con cambios menores, y los enemigos son todos humanos con máscaras, acaba haciéndose un poco repetitiva. El sonido es impecable, especialmente las conversaciones entre Julianna y Colt y sus actores (al menos en ingles) es genial, así como los efectos. La banda sonora quizás es lo más flojo, no es mala pero tampoco es memorable. Y, al menos en mi experiencia, el juego no ha tenido ningún bug de importancia, solo algunas cosas muy menores.

    Por todo ello, Deathloop es sin duda un juego recomendable, que además pese a que se acaba haciendo un poco repetitivo, como no es particularmente largo, pues llegas al final más o menos cuando todo empieza a sentirse "muy visto". Un 7,5.    … Expand

    Kinda short but definitely not an empty game.If only people didn't have high expectations and they didn't try to sell it as a full 60$ game.
    Great action, smooth mechanics, awesome voice acting and music, Good but bad implemented story.

    Great polished game with lots of fun mechanics and creative gameplay and nice art style. The loop mechanics weakened the story a bit and it was not as immersive as other Arkane games, but I still had fun messing around with it.

    I love the concept of timeloop mechanics in a game and Deathloop more or less nails it for me. Has a lot of the gameplay DNA from the Dishonored series which makes me really nostalgic for it. Story is a bit short and you can figure it all out somewhat quickly and reach the endgame, which can be disappointing. Most mysteries and puzzles in the game are also not very rewarding when you painstakingly solve them. Every time I was like "that's it?" For example, there is a locked room in Updaam for which 3 different codes are needed to unlock it. Finding these codes require a ton of exploring and reading between the lines. But when you do find them and unlock the door, no spoilers, it's underwhelming to the point of infuriating.

    There isn't too much variety in the guns and powers but there is a good enough balance. Enemy AI is a joke and can be cheesed with child's play.

    The multiplayer side of it is simply awful. "Griefing as a feature" would be the best way to describe it. It might be fun if you are the one playing as Juliana because you don't get to loose much if you lose. Plus you experience being a psycho and draw pleasure from ruining someone's game, which can be fun I guess. But playing as Colt while being invaded by real players is anything but fun. Nobody wants to have their game ruined especially when it is a careful stealth run and your Colt is near lower to mid levels and the Juliana invading you is armed to the teeth. At higher Colt levels it is boring at best to get invaded because any reward you get from Juliana's corpse is most what you already have and don't need, and infuriating at worst because, again, your game is ruined if you die. There is no fair level matching in invasions. I mostly keep it in the Single-Player mode and play as Colt in relative peace since the AI Juliana is as dumb as a sack of onions.

    It launched in an unfortunate buggy state on PC and kept crashing a lot. Performance and frame rate was also not stellar even on a super high end PC. But subsequent updates and patches have improved the game a lot. As of this writing though, it still keeps crashing for me at the beginning of Updaam in the afternoon before I even get to exit the tunnels. Can't play Charlie Montague's time period at all now.     Gameplaywise it's like Dishonored, but much less fun. Story is not as interesting as people are saying. It's a very average game, and I was really surprised it's the biggest contendant at the Game Awards this year.

    Deathloop is a great game, probably one of the best to be released in 2021. The combat is fairly satisfying, the puzzles challenging but good, and the story is interesting.

    Potentially a great game, but the developers just didn't know when to stop. There's just too much of everything. I can appreciate complex, multi-phased quests, but here it's just borderline ridiculous. So, say, you need to kill someone. In order to do that, you need to locate this person. This is literally every quest in this game. I certainly appreciate the effort, but, god, not every quest needs like 50 levels of complexity. I don't know, maybe some accountant or a logistics expert could appreciate this kind of approach to video game design, but I certainly don't. Which is actually really sad because there's clearly a lot of thought and talent put into this game, it's just that the devs couldn't figure out the point where adding more stuff in was just too much. As a result, we got potentially very good, but ultimately contrived and convoluted mess of a game.… Expand

    I'm playing on a 12900k + 6900xt @3840x1600 and haven't had a single crash after 15 hours of playtime. Performance at ultra /w RT on is rock steady at 75FPS, which is in sync with my monitor's refresh rate. Everything in    Best FPS Game i played since Quake3!     Gameplay loop is extremely satisfying and graphics are good, optimization is still not optimal but I had 100+ FPS on my RTX2070S @1440P Ultra, story is pretty good and voice acting is really lovely from the protagonist and antagonist.

    I did enjoy the game. It’s very different of what I usually play. It didn’t bother me that I was basically running around the same places, but it’s true that the game has a lot of bugs. I don’t recommend it buy it full price, or if you have the Xbox game pass you can download it.

    I had the best time playing Deathloop.

    Clever, beautiful, funny and at times thrilling. The voices and music, as well as the very important sound design were just great.

    I understand that some players don’t like the AI in Deathloop, but I was consistently delighted by tiny moments where the AI was behaving in surprising ways.

    Playing Deathloop felt wonderful. 10/10 strongly recommended!

    Great game, interesting concept, interesting characters, I personally find it very easy, that's why it can't be more than an 8, I wouldn't pay $60 for it, I played it with Game Pass that's probably why I'm being generous with this one, you won't regret playing it

Начнем с того что задумка временной петли в которой нужно убить 8 человек за один цикл (то есть один день) крутая да пришлось токазаться от открытого мира Prey но в этой игре мир тоже относительно открытый толькоDeathloop это игра от любимой мною студии за Dishonored (270 часов) и Dishonored 2 (340 часов) а также Prey 2017го года (140 часов) и игра мне понравилась (Кто бы сомневался). Начнем с того что задумка временной петли в которой нужно убить 8 человек за один цикл (то есть один день) крутая да пришлось токазаться от открытого мира Prey но в этой игре мир тоже относительно открытый только гораздо меньше всего у вас на выбор 4 локации Даунтаун, Скала Фристад, Карлова Бухта и Комплекс и 4 времени суток по истечении которых петля заходит на новый виток. У главного героя Кольта амнезия, да приём банальный но он обусловлен сюжетно так как петля длиться уже более наверное 1000чи лет а в мозгу место не бесконечное а сам Кольт как и ещё одна женщина по имени Джулианна запоминают события прошлых петель в отличее от всех остальных на острове, кстати да действия игры происходят на острове "Черный риф", а причина почему всё помнят только Кольт и Джулианна- загадка ответ на которую вы не найдёте даже после прохождения всей игры (если будете проходить сайд квесты поймёте о чём я) геймплей неплохой пару пушек взяли из Prey а способности из Dishonored смещение- телепорт, аффект- rage mod, эфир- invise, карнезис отбрасивает или подбрасивает врагов в воздух в зависимости от того какой режим вы выбрали в настройках, фуга- похмелье для врагов и сплетение- свяживает врагов и участь одного постигнет и остальных. Я это могу назвать отчасти удачным, а отчасти неудачным эксперементом теперь будем ждать Red fall надеюсь и она меня не разочарует.… Expand

    It's great to see a dev take risks with an experimental combination of roguelike and immersive sim genres as well as adding a ton of their own flavour to create something truly unique.     The design choice of easier enemies compared to Dishonored is obviously to balance the game against the fact that you're constantly being hunted by other players playing as Juliana and that you don't have the ability to save scum like you did in those games.

    Those saying it's too easy clearly wussed out and turned off online invasions to their own detriment considering that's such a key part of what makes the game fun. I think I have about a 40% success rate at murdering colt as Juliana, and it would be much higher than that if the enemies were as difficult as they were in other Arkane games.

    You can tell by the reviews written by the people who scored this game and their lack of reference to what it was like trying to complete levels while being hunted by other players that they definitely had been playing with the main feature of the game turned off. It's like buying a pizza and scraping off all the toppings and then complaining that the pizza isn't very tastey.    … Expand

    Clever game but it is not for everybody. This must be my first game ever that I uninstalled like 10 times just to go back to it after a while and finally completing it. The game is interesting with unique ideas, beautiful art direction and unique way of telling the game story.     No need to think twice, we had a lot of time loop games. But Deathloop can get the most out of all elements. And whether you're protecting the loop or destroying it, don't forget to die a few times, it's fun.

    Too much hand-holding, some glaring omissions in the narrative and its somewhat weak AI do let Deathloop down, but still, it’s a rare and exciting game made for both fans of Corvo Attano and those who never set foot in the Empire of the Isles before.

    I applaud Arkane for switching up the Dishonored stealth/action formula here, and for addressing a few of the issues Dishonored had. Deathloop just feels too limited by comparison, though, and too repetitive by half besides. I know a lot of people who really like it, but it fell pretty flat for me.
