Apr 9, 2016Dead Star takes the MOBA blueprint and flips it on its head. Stripping the genre down to its best elements and applying a slick sci-fi layer, it brings something truly new to the table that doesn't feel like a simple retread.

Apr 9, 2016Dead Star has the basics of combat and ship balance right, to the point that even losses have their fun moments. Its primary shortcoming is that it allows too great an advantage for pre-made groups, which is especially a problem considering the wonky matchmaker.
