It's a solid single player game if you can get around the fact that the DLC are way over-priced, the game is missing two stages the consoles have, the devs don't update the PC version, the graphics are on par with PS3, there's no particle effects on par with the PS4/XBone, and there's no online play after over 6 months when online was promised NO LATER than 3 months after the DELAYEDIt's a solid single player game if you can get around the fact that the DLC are way over-priced, the game is missing two stages the consoles have, the devs don't update the PC version, the graphics are on par with PS3, there's no particle effects on par with the PS4/XBone, and there's no online play after over 6 months when online was promised NO LATER than 3 months after the DELAYED launch of the game.

So yeah, it's pretty much a crap port of an excellent game and Team Ninja just counts your money and ignores your complaints. I won't be suckered into another Team Ninja PC game.

I give this game a "1" for treating PC community as trash.

The fighting itself is good and the characters are, but the port and Team Ninja`s attitude are outright horrible. - The game is a cheap PS3 port without any regard to PS4 version. In 2015, yeah. - No online in a fighting game in 2015, only promises to add it 3 months later. - Less stages than in console version. - Can`t

    - Can`t remap control buttons and gamepad buttons are a bit messed up.
    - NO SOFT ENGINE
    - Screen resolution options lacking. I have a 1920x1200 display, but i can select either 1920x1080 or 1680x1050, being forced to play in a window?

    - Director telling the modders community to "play it good and moral' or else "we won`t be making anything for PC".

Seriously, go threaten someone else for our money, ok?

Usual broken garbage port. No online at launch when the quality of this port ALREADY doesnt justify the game coming out 3 months later.
-No controller support (Technically has it but the buttons are completely jacked up because its an arcade port, Oh and you cant rebind them)
-No achievements -No online -Saves are tied to your CURRENT steam name. (If you change your name in steam it

    -Missing stages
-Upscaled from last gen so it lacks soft engine and looks pretty poor quality overall
-Bad optimization? (Slow downs during win poses in story mode, SLI/XFIRE not optimized, Crash's in story mode occasionally) *EDIT* I havent personally had any problems but i hear the game is more CPU intensive than GPU somehow?
-DLC can go f**k itself ( Seriously? 55$ and 65$ for the DLC which is MORE expensive than the console's and WTF is the point without F**KING ONLINE FOR 3 MONTHS?!?!)

Dont buy this game, if they end up not porting any future DoA's to the PC we are WAY better off without them anyway if this is the treatment they are going give us.

The graphic is kind of last gen...and the fighting moves is nothing special,
the PC version is missing so much from the console version.(missing some clothes and maps)

Atrocious keyboard controls. Completely unplayable. You can't even change the keybinds. Is that a joke?
Terrible, terrible, terrible port. Don't buy this crap.

What trash. This game looks great on ps4 with it's soft skin, but it is ridiculous to give the PC community such a garbage port when it's your first release on this market.

I do NOT know which planet these morons singing the game's praises live on, but they definitely ain't on the same one that I'm from.

This game has great graphics, it's plot - on the other hand - is definitely on a par with a children's book - and by a children's book I mean just give it a nursery rhyme and the plot would be better. I don't know who thought it up, but it was rubbish.
The fighting is nothing spectacular, but I do have to say I am very surprised that Team Ninja have just left the fighting engine the way it's been for so long already. Having had a character thrown to the ropes by Tina, why are the ropes still lifelessly rigid? You don't see that happening in a real wrestling or boxing ring so why not in the game?
Methinks Team Ninja would be best at soft porn game manufacture, because all those guys in the game are just to throw the parents off track. Don't think we don't know that **** Team Ninja. Oh wait...

Game from 2015. If I buy (FULL GAME) for $39.99 and then buy all the remaining DLC the total comes to $960.20. If I wait until it's on sale it'll be around half price. Someting like $430.10. Oh, and you can't get Mai Shiranui anymore as that was a temporary license deal.

Owners of the PC version are faced with a difficult choice — either wait for the promised online multiplayer and enjoy the fact that it is a decent port of an excellent fighting game, or berate Team Ninja that Last Round lacks some odd features.

Without online multiplayer, all the stages and possessing visuals that are inferior to the console versions, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round manages that rare and horrible thing of making PC players feel like second-class citizens to their console brethren and in doing so, succeeds in heavily tarnishing what is actually a pretty incredible fighting game in the process.

It might have benefited Dead or Alive 5 Last Round to be issued into Steam’s Early Access program as, in its current state, is a lacking experience that’s below its console counterparts.
