Aug 2, 2022The game itself is great, but turning off online finishes off this game. Okay, but why was DS3 offline online?
-
Jan 6, 2023The first Souls Saga game is incredible, but its remastering is somewhat poorly done and does not deliver a good graphic for its launch year "2018", the same game with nothing changed, only a more polished world, could be better .
-
Sep 28, 2021The game was sold to us for the second time with minimal changes.
vanila version with DSfix the best! -

Jun 22, 2020Normally its a good game but pc port isn that good. Also you guys calling this a remaster? Better say "dsfix but 40$". This game deserved a good remaster but you know FromSoftware...
-
Jan 1, 2019Combat is very boring, graphics are okay. Very generic story, and boring, unlikable characters.
-
May 25, 2018It's a first patch to a good game in 6 years.
The changes are minor, bugs has not been fixed.
Almost the same results can be achieved via free DSFix.
Great and very hard work for $20! -

Dec 5, 2022Graphic wise this change little to nothing, they cant even do the estus icon right like ds3. Honestly i would just play the original prepare to die edition, and then they deleted it from the store.
They only thing they did right is that blighttown no longer become powerpoint presentation. -
Jan 28, 2021This is Worst Remastered
Prepare to die Edition had Unique Graphics vibe and mood
But Remastered version has nothing there
too weak Depth of field effects was so Bad.
too bright and bad feeling cartoon .. graphics
and you have 1 more big Problem
that is xbox controller not working Bug. its so annoying too.
finally
I regret buying this game and
im so dissappointed to FromSoftware -

Jun 2, 2018We need to crack down on "the remastar" ... Get out "Prepare the die edition" from the store Steam, so we can get more money for something, which the community repaired years ago.

Nov 11, 2018Cashgrab.
These companies should go hoeing the dirt instead of selling videogames (or anything else tbh) -

May 25, 2018Lazy cash grab. This should not be tolerated, even if its Dark souls. Very dissapointing.
-
May 26, 2018This is insulting. Dark Souls ''Remastered'' it's just a really expesive patch for the original game.

Dec 4, 2018They did not fix not even one of the bugs that ruin this game and the framerate is tied to the game speed, plus they changed the online estus mechanics, so don't say "is just a remastered, they can't change the gameplay" when they actually did.

Jul 18, 2018Remastered edition is mostly made for new players, but it is still Dark Souls, one of the best action RPG-s in history.
-
Jun 23, 2018This Dark Souls Remastered targets people who played the original game on console, or the ones who never played it before. It’s still one of a kind game, but this remastered version is definitely too lazy.

Jun 21, 2018Dark Souls: Remastered can almost barely be considered a remastered title for PC gamers and, while it provides some increase in graphics and quality of life improvements, these additions are largely negligible unless you’re a dedicated multiplayer fan. Despite this fact, Dark Souls is still an amazing game that is worth playing through more than once, and there’s a lot here for gamers who’ve never played through the first title in the Souls series.
