    Good game with a good story. Not a 10/10 like the incels scream it is but if the game gets its bugs fixed id say its a pretty comfy 9/10.

    Night City is fun to explore and the details throughout the world can be breath-taking at times. NPCs have great designs; the music is amazing and it’s all very immersive.     Night City is fun to explore and the details throughout the world can be breath-taking at times. NPCs have great designs; the music is amazing and it’s all very immersive.
    The story all though a little short is fun and kept me playing for extended sessions. You could probably beat the game in 15 hours if you just go for the main missions but that would be a mistake I feel as the side quests are just as good as the story missions in terms of mission structure and world building.

    My only real complaints are that this is not a Role Playing Game in any proper use of the term. Its not Fallout 4 levels of bad but nowhere near as good as New Vegas. Its more similar to Deus Ex Human Revolution but just below it in terms of RPG elements. There are Stats which you have to build a character around but all can complete the game with similar results and character builds sadly are not important. You can’t become a smooth talker or anything that can get you through the game without killing or never being detected. I didn’t follow the hype for this game but I was under the impression it was an RPG so I would warn you going into it that its RPG lite if that is important to you.

    Graphically the game is nice but the FPS is pretty poor, im lucky enough to have a new RTX 30 series card and am able to play the game on max settings but there are areas when driving my FPS will go to 41fps at 1080p. Also making changes to graphic settings has little effect. Playing with RTX on is the same as off for me, Above 90 FPS for most of the game but 41 in other zones when driving so it may be an issue with the games optimization since it runs bad at all settings. You may need at least a 2070 or higher to run in current state.

    Lastly there is the bugs, performance may vary but I haven’t had really many crashes, only two although one required me to restart my PC as it froze everything. Bugs are everywhere in this game and although its not Fallout 76 bad I would recommend holding off until a few more patches are out as it can get in the way of the experience and its possible my love for the game has been hampered by the bugs even though I can look past most bugs if the game is good.

    Although I recommend the game it comes with a Asterix and you should wait till it is patched and the performance improves as it could be a rocky experience depending on your personal rig and the games launch price is pretty steep. Reason why im not giving the game a lower score is because im pretty confident CDPR will fix the issue soon as they have a decent enough track record and even with the bugs this is better than anything Ubisoft has put out in years.    … Expand

    The Game has some polishing left to do, but i enjoyed the hell out of it. The World feels full and the gameplay is pretty mich in point with what i expected. 9/10 would recommand.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Night City is visually impressive with its neon skyscrapers and swarming crowds of people. There are many places to explore but only a few ways to actually interact with its world. You can look at something that's intriguing, such as a campsite underneath a fallen Ferris wheel, but then you realize it is just a superficial exterior because there isn't anything to do there. The main quests and a few side quests provide some unique game mechanics that are short-lived and only exists for the purpose of their respective quests. For example, when you finish the main story and go back to former quest objectives like the military tank, you can't even get inside it anymore. Where's the fun in that?
    Even on PC, I experience glitches all the time. People's heads clip through the roofs of cars. The audio suddenly cuts out during scenes when the NPC is still talking. NPCs T-pose for a split second. Objects float in the air when an enemy dies. The main character has fallen through the floor and gotten stuck inside walls. Two phone calls happen at the same time and break missions. Cars spawn in the air and fall to ground. Yes, these happened on the most current update (1.05).
    This game has a problem with chronological sequencing. On a quest with River Ward, he starts to explain what "braindances" are. However, by that point in the game, the player has already analyzed multiple "braindances" before. It made no sense because the main character acted like it was his first time.
    A very small percentage of your time playing will actually consist of action. I would bet 99% of Cyberpunk 2077 is talking, walking, driving, and character management. Only 1% of your playtime will be real action, and that is terrible for people with limited free time. There are a lot of quiet, peaceful moments during important quests that are great if you have time for role-playing but painfully boring if you don't.
    A lot of the side content feels monotonous because you have to defeat a ton of "cyberpsychos" and small groups of enemies that just stand around waiting. If you are thinking of completing all of the achievements, all of the small enemy marks on your map must be finished. After 10 hours of grinding, you will start wondering why you are spending so much time to get 1 or 2 extra achievements.

    Edit: The distinct characters bring some personality and life to a story that is difficult to fully understand because of convoluted politics and science fiction.    … Expand

Well, I bought the Day one PHYSICAL edition that comes with a download code for GOG and guess what, the code is not valid. This is not an obscure code I bought on G2Play or whatever, this is a code that comes in THEIR box, onThis is a 10/10 game. However, I am at this moment giving it a 6, why? Bugs such as **** cab ceo calling you 100th time about missing cars can ruin some cool dialogs (voices overlap and you can’t hear either of them) or ur friend pulling a chip from his head but instead of the chip the game renders a whole gun so... Combat system is fun if played at medium or lower difficulty but on harder diff you depend on abusingGood story, okay combat, terrible driving.     I've actually come back to change my score and my opinion a bit. I still think the game is amazing, but there's more than just bugs & glitches that upset me about this game. There also have been certain things that they promised would be in the game that just isn't. A lot of things are very wack and CD Projekt RED basically scammed us. Very disappointed!    … Expand

    No mantis blade wall climbing... no underground level, no metro rides... no police wanted sistem, only one operation scene, in the start... Unfinished buildings... cloth glitch on character... no character reflecitons just in those annoying mirrors.... this is a wery cheap and rushed game!

I have a problem with poorly designed systems which have been implemented to this game, and are working as a part of san box /open-world experience. I also have problem with romance system. I expected an improvement comparing to Witcher 3 in that matter, but got even less -20 seconds sex scene in a tank as a reward - rly? - Make ourGame works perfectly as linear story, which was lovely. Поиграл 5-6 часов и решил отложить до "лучших" времён. Где-то через полгода можно будет попробовать поиграть. С таким количеством ошибок это просто неиграбельное нечто. Ведьмак был прорывом, был"Единица" за огромное разочарование. Обещали "живой город", а получили обычный ГТА с зомби-NPC и закрытыми дверьми. Причём ГТА далеко не самой первой свежести. Возьмите ту-же Вальгаллу или Юнити. Она стоит не просто выше, а на совершенно другой ступени эволюции. Ну конечно, если игры делать по 8 лет, то именно так и получится. В общем CDPR стали заложниками успеха. От них ждали очередной прорыв, а получили обычное второсортное забагованное творение. А ведь был шанс сделать просто хороший гейм. Сплошное разочарование.     Comparing with other launches the bugs (in PC version) where acceptable. As for the gameplay it show a potential. I would say that it is needed time to adjust to the mechanics.
    People don't compare it with Witcher....

    Almost 4 year old pc, running without an hitch (i7-8700K, 16G Ram, 1080Ti). 1440p, 60fps stable on ultra with a couple of settings on high. The game is wonderful, it's no Witcher 3 but the 60+ hours I've put in already have been really worth it. Great job CDPR, keep strong and ignore the bad rep. There's no way this game could run on such crappy machines. Refund the salty troublemakers andAlmost 4 year old pc, running without an hitch (i7-8700K, 16G Ram, 1080Ti). 1440p, 60fps stable on ultra with a couple of settings on high. AI is not very good, I seen weird behavior more often that I would like it to. That being said in most fights AI working properly (maybe because enemies getting killed before thay have chance to do something weird).

    Despite downsides, for me this game is more than just sum of its components. Overall impression from story, visuals, music, writing and gameplay definitely makes this game the best I have played this year, or maybe even past 5 years.

    CD Project has good history of patching their games untill they are perfect, Witcher 3 had a rough start too. Cannot wait to replay it after patches and quality DLC , that hopefully will be released.    … Expand

    despite the countless bugs and AI-related issues, I really enjoyed playing cyberpunk. Night City is one of the most astonishing cities you’ll find in a game and most importantly, characters like Judy, Panam, and Johnny Silverhand are so lovely and perfectly written that you will enjoy their subplots even more than the main quests.

    Amazing game, I don't remember anything like it, delightful experience, you can admire its beauty and interesting plots for a very long time. I have already played 37 hours. Ultra settings + RTX + DLSS +4k resolution, not a single crash. Yes there are bugs, but not critical, mostly visual, because of this is not a 10 out of 10

    Сюжет уныленький и не цепляющий, а про то что игра называется- киберпанк- В ИГРЕ НЕТ ВООБЩЕ ничего киберпанковского, все эти протезы фигезы никак не обыграны, как будто это просто роботы(причем тыпые роботы) натянули частично на себя кожу людей и пытаются создать ощущение обычного города. В мире деус экс все на этом завязано и в это веришь, там людские переживания, размышления, а тут? просто шутан с псевдооткрытым миром. Я лучше в фолаут 4 еще пойду поиграю, или mankind divided. А это говнище за 2 тыщи сами кушайте    … Expand

    I'm not going to pretend this game doesn't have issues, but I'm also not going to kid myself that its a one off in the gaming industry. Most games these days drop with bugs. Graphically it is a wonder of what can be, certainly the new Crisis 3 of the decade. Story wise, its gritty, inspiring, dark and disturbing in the way you'd expect a game about a bleak future to be! The characters are believable in a way I have never seen, Not in only how they look, but in the way they come across. when you get into this game, you are sucked into a world you can truly lose yourself in!

    The problem with people these days is, they overhype themselves, and expect far more than is truly achievable, despite how good this game is, and truly in depth it is, people still have the audacity to whine!? Sure, it needs some fixing, and they probably should have been a bit more honest about its capability on last gen consoles. but to me, this just proves why PC gaming will always be the pinnacle of gaming. consoles are out of date the second you buy one, as they aren't capable of being upgraded unless you buy the next big console update, the PS5 S or some ****

    The other issue is, they delayed the game a few times to try and rectify the games bugs and issues, but as per usual, people only complained about the delays, and didn't respect that CDPR is trying to develop a ground breaking game during a goddam pandemic! So after all the **** CDPR finally release it to stop the bickering, only for those same people to then complain that it shouldn't have been released! **** OFF! Its your ****ing fault!

    Anyway, This game, with some work on the bugs will be a masterpiece, and all those pricks out there complaining about how it doesn't run on their 10 year-old console can **** off as far as I'm concerned, as this game in everyway is an absolute marvel! Thank you CDPR for this outstanding and ground breaking game!    … Expand

    - For a game and genre centred around customisation, it's startling that there's no way to change haircuts, get makeup, or add to body cybernetics...nothing beyond the opening customisation (mind you, customisation is basically useless in this game anyway since you can't even see your character 99% of the time, which is a problem in itself).
    - The AI is awful, so many NPCs in the city but    - For a game and genre centred around customisation, it's startling that there's no way to change haircuts, get makeup, or add to body cybernetics...nothing beyond the opening customisation (mind you, customisation is basically useless in this game anyway since you can't even see your character 99% of the time, which is a problem in itself).
    - The AI is awful, so many NPCs in the city but they offer nothing. It's worse than Skyrim.
    - The driving is terrible, so hard to steer the vehicles that I'm forced to drive slow to avoid totalling the bike. And the cars feel like they have no weight, I can crash into a big truck while driving a small car and the truck will do a 360 degree flip while my car is fine.
    - So many damn bugs. I've had NPCs with faces flickering non-stop, cars exploding randomly during missions, one time my bike got caught under a car (with me under it) and I had to reload an old save to continue. So much for the day one patch fixing all the problems lmao.
    - The world is packed but somehow feels empty. Nothing to do except boring bounties and the main mission.
    For a game that was hyped for years, with people refusing to hear any criticism, and literally worshipping the developers, I really expected so much more. The game is by no means unplayable, and I still had fun with it, but there are just so many glaring issues. If a developer like Bethesda or Ubisoft had released a game with such issues, they'd be dragged to no end and there'd be boycotts everywhere. Double standards I guess.    … Expand

    Had to get days off from work to finish it and when i git to the end of the main story... Let me tell it did gave me some feelings, a lot of them actually,    Started playing it day one, saw all the glitches and some of the not so polished mechanics, was kinda bummed on that but gave the game a chance and kept playing. Got to a point of the story where i just couldn't stop playing,
    Had to get days off from work to finish it and when i git to the end of the main story... Don't want to spoil anything, but wasn't a happy one thats for sure.     This game was worth waiting. For sci-fi fans its a dream. Its an open world game with a huge map, perfect story, animations, graphics etc. CD project create a complex world with huge buildings.     Good game if you loved the witcher 3. It gives a taste of what witcher brought with immersive side quests but not to that extreme. On xbox one x runs nicely noticing it running better recently.

    It would've been a 10 if it weren't for some bugs but the side missions and characters kept it from being an 8. This game has a lot of love in it. I've lost count of how many times I've said that I love this game while playing. If your someone who's played fallout, bioshock, masseffect, this is the game for you.

    Unfortunately in the 2020-1 era, people complain about everything. CD Projekt released 6 patches after the release and none seemed to care. Yes there were and still are some bugs in the game, but that's the downside of not having Alpha and Beta testing.
    This is a well designed game, with an amazing story to back it and I can't wait for it to continue!

If you are a fan of the division or borderlands but want a loading-screen-free version with the most amazing graphics, music, atmosphere then you should get this game and stop caring about the PS4/Xbox one reviews.     I would be lying if I said this game doesn't have it's fair share of issues. I'm not going to give a detailed review but I am very close to 100% completion and here are my pro/con bullet points. Simply put though, I very much enjoy this game overall even though I of course wish some things were different or more fleshed out.

    Pros: - Fantastic dialogue and voice acting performances -    I would be lying if I said this game doesn't have it's fair share of issues. I'm not going to give a detailed review but I am very close to 100% completion and here are my pro/con bullet points. Simply put though, I very much enjoy this game overall even though I of course wish some things were different or more fleshed out.

    Pros:
    - Fantastic dialogue and voice acting performances
    - Beautiful world building and exploration, the city is awe-inspiring to traverse
    - Fun gameplay loop with diverse character building options
    - Great stories, both the main story and many of the side gigs
    - Amazing sound design and music; the vehicles, guns, and people really sound great
    - The graphics are fantastic (this is specific to the PC version) although with the caveat that it isn't currently well-optimized

    Cons:
    - Pretty lifeless AI, aside from scripted events which are AMAZING, the rest of the NPCs are just kind of there, which wouldn't be a big deal if it didn't extend to combat AI as well
    - Combat can be very easy, this is kind of an extension of my previous point. I have no basis for comparison but stealth/quickhacking is unbelievably overpowered. By level 25 after focusing on Intelligence/Quick Hacking I am able to kill 20 enemies in less than 30 seconds with a combination of Legendary Ping and Contagion. On top of that, the AI is just simply not intelligent.
    - The UI for inventory isn't very streamlined, crafting takes forever if you're making multiples of something and its just kind of clunky. For instance if you want to disassemble a bunch of items you have to hold down a button for each one, whereas in many RPGs you can select multiple things and click "disassemble all selected items" or some such thing
    - It should be obvious to everyone by now there are quite a few glitches. TBH I've encountered very few bugs that actually affected gameplay, not to say I haven't seen ANY but it has been rare in my 60 hours so far. However, visual bugs happen quite frequently, although they don't have any real effect on my experience other than a loss of immersion    … Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 me dio mas de 80 horas de juego, varios bugs y crasheos, pero fuera de eso es excelente en todos sus apartados, desde historia a desarrollo de personajes. Lo recomiendo mucho pero hasta mediados o finales de este año.

    Maybe they can patch this game later on, which honestly would put this game at 8 or 9, but as it stands its not worth 70e. And honestly, I don't think this game will ever function as intended. Sad really.    … Expand

    Awesome story and characters, Keanu Reeves is amazing as Johnny Silverhand. Night city is a real technical achievement. 40 hours so far and about 5 bugs found so no, the game is not broken.

    Inmersive World, beautiful city, didn't expect such a nice gunplay, story is amazng great narrative, no major bugs with my gtx 1060 works smoothly, only theing I wish it have better clothes shops to see you character trying out clothles and places where you can change your hair.

    Incredible good side-stories, and dead world by first impression turns out is alive and interesting.

    Only technical part in a bad stage. You need a really good hardware to enjoy this game and graphical part is revolutionary, truly next-gen. Also couple of bugs exist, but not critical and half already fixed with 2nd day patch, i'm sure most bugs gonna be fixed.
    9/10 only because technical part.

    Новый прекрасный игровой опыт. Очень харизматичная игра,классно прописанные персонажи,отличный мир и вообще все в игре очень затягивает. Авторам большой респект за начинку игры,такого никто ещё не делал. Про техническую составляющую много писать не буду,баги есть но не критичные и не много,их просто не замечаешь почти.     At this time it's just not playable, bugs, glitchers, freezes, all that stuff. Graphic is ugly. The interface is very inconvenient. RPG is more like an action game.

    Un gran juego, gran historia pero... muchos bugs, por donde quiera, tuve que reiniciar el juego 1 vez por que no salía un personaje de la trama en una misión principal, y eso logró que no pudiera avanzar en la historia. Pero gran juego, me gusta mucho.

    The world of Cyberpunk is perhaps one of the best looking one's I've ever seen. Although it is not as "open" as I would like it to be it is still one hell of a masterpiece.     And thats when we come to the critism already actually.

    This game was supposed to be an open world RPG, To me it feels less then an RPG then Outer Worlds, and way less open world then GTA. Which sucks because the world it self is beautifull and I wish there was a reason to stay longer.

    Most of the characters in the game are very intresting, yet though the amount of "interaction" with all the other side characters feels barely enough. There is no real RPG in between the characters besides some text messages.

    Choices you make are of little influence beside some choices which is a shame.

    The AI is perhaps one of the most retarded things I've ever seen and needs a complete overhaul. This counts for police and citizens in Night City. Also it lacks alot of depth in just to many aspects to all write down here.

    However I'm hopefull for this game (therefore the high rating) I believe that if this game will get some good major patches, lots of love and attention from CD Projekt Red, and more time... Alot of more time. This game can be one good single player game, and for the multiplayer... Man oh man am I curious.

The game needs at least another year or more of development time. This is like 99% preparation for a large immersive game, and 1% of actually trying to get it to run. The open world is laborious and unplayable. Graphics and gameplay is below 720p and sometimes will never manage to load in textures and framerate persistently reaches as low as 15fps and can or will stay like that. The amount of bugs and glitches is completely messed up and it is without question the most horrendously bugged, glitched and poorly performing game ever released. General combat gameplay is a similar calibre to Outer Worlds, but sometimes feels like an old Halo game from 2000s. Shooting often bullet sponging enemies with tactically OP firearms and melee with underwhelming feedback and collision. QA testers around November time pointed to a still-unfinished game across all facets of it's content. I'm shocked at how much that isn't just tolerable things. But this 'crunch' that everyone knew about was more serious than what was ever told - they had to scrap the game as an RPG game and instead title it an Action-Adventure due to the vast number of things removed which no longer qualified it as an RPG. Non-extensively or to name a few, they removed large mechanics such as:

    All normal spider bot gameplay Removed skill trees (Techie etc) Whole wall running mechanic scrapped The subway system as fast travel system scrapped - replaced with a loading screen. Vehicle and home customisation scrapped Character customisation such as haircuts and augments cut
    Other storage options removed such as wardrobe, all done in inventory now

    The bugs etc are pervasive enough to ruin the experience and spoil it. The crashing is regular enough to frustrate players into switching off, then your character falling through the scenery nearly as frequently as the crashes which can happen several times in an hour of gameplay. Missions get stuck permanently (currently have two side missions and my main story permanently non-progressing), dialogue sticks and have to reset. NPCs and AI is diabolical and there is actually 'no AI' for several concepts in the game such as driving. One blatant example being the whole wanted level system where cops come for you. They don't actually come arriving to you — they just spawn right beside you in plain sight and start shooting. Then they simply vanish into thin air when you leave the scene. Textures and rendering never loading causing reset.. The game has so many severe problems that you'd never be done, but I'm legit concerned with how this is a genuinely far from finished game that has been hyped up and sold. Totally unacceptable for a game of 8 years in development. Cyberpunk is easily one of the most horrendous releases gaming history. The gaming community must learn about pre-ordering games and the expectations and hype they have for them prior to actually seeing a complete product. Consumers need to change and learn a serious lesson from this.    … Expand

    Игра очень красивая и атмосферная, критических багов не встретил.

    8 years of waiting and 80% of cut content. Cyberpunk is the biggest flop of the year. Gunplay feels clumpy, driven is terrible, NPCs are lifeless, AI is more outdate than PS2 titles. Life path doesn’t make the game that much different than the other. At least the graphics are nice... for me.

    Despite what others say this game is good. Even the witcher wasn't without these kinds of bugs day 1 they'll be fixed as soon as possible so stop crying. The game was overhyped, but still fun is fun, don't let the few loud people ruin it for the others that love the game.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
