A bunch of people obsessed over this game without end- and they are disappointed. When you disappointed an obsessed person with unrealistic expectations- well you get reviews that say "CDPR has no talent".

CDPR does have talent because objectively Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game. I mean it is something special. The world is fantastic, the story is amazing, the combat it deep and fun, and customization options are deep, and the characters are engaging. In terms of raw core mechanics, it stands as one of the greatest RPGs ever made. But on consoles, this thing is a mess- a serious mess. We all need to kinda accept a few things as reality.

    1. It will be patched soon. CDPR actually patched Witcher 3 a total of 23 times. Skyrim by comparison got 9 patches. I have no doubt the bugs and issues will be resolved by January.
    2. The game will never look better. That sucks I know but the reality is all that detail comes at a cost. The CPU of the PS4/Xbox One cannot handle this game. It was made to run on next-gen systems because the 7-year-old PS4 just can't do it no matter how hard you try. To make the game functional it has to look like it looks
    3. CDPR is not going to invest money and time into a dying console. They will make it functional and smooth but they are not spending 2 years dumping in millions to make a game look perfect on a console that won't be around in a year.

Even on PS4 the game is good. If you are super visual- like you HAVE to have games that look and feel perfect then this game is not for you. If you can look past some jank and a fair appearance there is an insane amount of fun to be had here.

Boring! The story is ok but the city is dead, it's lifeless and dull. The combat, skill, crafting and customisation is severely lacking.

The roleplay aspect is pretty much non-existent, you have some choices in dialogues, but they don't change much, if anything. CD PROJEKT RED claimed that their character creation gave the player a ton of options, which turned out to be a lie. NPCs clip through objects, appear out of nowhere. Items go flying everywhere, when you open loot cases. AI is just plain stupid. Driving is terrible - it's very "floaty"(?). Traffic is driving on hardcoded paths. Police will spawn behind you, when you're wanted, even when your back is facing a wall with no entrance and they will just empty their clips into your body. There's no way to talk yourself out of being arrested, let them arrest you or even bribe them. They will just kill you right away. But when you get into a car and go around the corner they just forget you've ever existed. Gunfight is also not exactly something I'd call fun, enemies are just bullet sponges, you can empty 3 clips into their head and they will still keep running at you with their melee weapon. Performance on ultra settings is fine, but only on server grade accelerators like NVidia Tesla P40/P100, recommended setup is also a lie. Even Keanu's voice acting is mediocre.

Cyberpunk 2077 feels like it has no clue what it wants to be and that shows, if I wanted to pick a genre for it, it would be in AAA Disappointments along with Fallout 76 and Warcraft 3: Reforged. For me for now it's a buggy mess not worth my money or/and time. CD PROJEKT RED has shown what they think about the players through their lie-driven marketing campaign.

Also, they changed the source materials for marketing in China. Pretty scummy. Kang Tao (康陶) was a Taiwanese corporation in CP2020, and here it is suddenly Chinese. Way to bow down to Xi, CDPR...

Even putting politics aside~~the game consistently lets me down, particularly in the RPG part.

On my Win 10 PC MSI GE66, the game runs quite smoothly (60~120FPS) on Ultra and I have only encountered 2 bugs which could be easily resolved by reloading saves. Hence, I will only be talking about the game when it works as intended. I won't talk about bugs as I feel they are another topic.

    1. Story (main quest) is told in a good way for a scripted, interactive movie. But it undeniably fails as a RPG ---- which the game identifies as up until E3 2019

    2. We're playing a fun game, but NOT role-playing it

    3. Romances deliver only the bare minimum, severely lacking depth and width. For binary people of both genders, you have exactly 1 option. And that one does not even have depth or emotional moments much.

    4. Side contents are aplenty and feels huge in quantity!! ...except, most of them are fetch quests and clones of each other. The open world looks pretty but has nothing interesting to offer.

    5. Censorship exists even in non-censored versions. The game feels like Teen (T). A cyberpunk game that is devoid of all the sexy elements that make the genre exciting.

    6. A lot of cut content. All the noteworthy moments are exactly what has been advertised in those promotional videos prior to release.

    7. All possible endings feel rushed and not well thought out. The takeaway message leaves the player pessimistic and cynical.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Bethesda and BioWare (even with their recent wrong doings) now look like better game developers next to CDPR. If you don't trust the reviews, just play the game and see for yourself.

Me?? I'm just glad this game gives me more reasons to go back and play those games that are actually worth it: Fallout 4, Fallout: New Vegas, Mass Effect Remastered, Dragon Age and Skyrim, etc.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Yesterday, I finished the game. After I slept over it, I came to the decision, that I had to write a review. Maybe the developers even read it and think about it.

At first I want to point out the Pros about the game

    +Atmosphere
    +Awesome Side Quests
+Best Sound Design I can think of
    +Overall good performance on PC

    Then the negative

-No transmog system (You look like a Clown)
    -Crafting is irrelevant
    -Lifepath irrelevant
-No Charakter Customization possible after the Creator
    -Many many Bugs and Glitches
-unsatisfying endings of the main Quest

And now I want to talk a bit more about my biggest complain: The Ending of the Story
As you are on the rooftop with Johnny, you are pretty much on rails from that point on. You choose one of three Options/Endings. Only one of them didn't suck completely in the end, namely the Nomad ending.

Finally the game concludes in, V dies either way. The only question is here and now, with Johnny taking over Vs body, or in six frickin months if V goes back in his/her own body.

This part of every ending sucks and renders the whole story before, completely useless. Why is there no option whatsoever for V to live a normal live? Even if I V didn't let Johnny take over and block him entirely, V would die after six months. That's just stupid. Even more awful is the decision that there is no kind of a fusion ending, where Johnny and V form a new personality together. Or maybe an ending in which the destruction of Vs brain is halted and both can share Vs body equally.

I think both characters and also we, the players, deserved more of a happier ending.

Therefore I give the game a 6 out of 10. If the ending weren't as bad I would give it an 8, maybe even a 9.

CDPR's delivery in December of 2020 was compared to No Man's Sky's: Endless promises what would be in the game turned out to be utter lies when the game went live. This gave birth to the hope in many fans that CDPR would "do a No Man's Sky" and turn the game around completely over the next few months and years. The second huge patch nine months after release shows: Contrary to No Man'sCDPR's delivery in December of 2020 was compared to No Man's Sky's: Endless promises what would be in the game turned out to be utter lies when the game went live. This gave birth to the hope in many fans that CDPR would "do a No Man's Sky" and turn the game around completely over the next few months and years. The second huge patch nine months after release shows: Contrary to No Man's Sky, CDPR has not the slightest intention to do anything but bug fixing.

It was not the bugs why I found the game lacking at release. It was the huge parts of the game that were torn out to get the preorder money still in 2020. Only one of these areas has been attacked yet: The police's behavior. And that is more of a band-aid than a solution, even nine months after going live.

Who would have thunk that developing basic game mechanics for a AAA game would take more than a few months? Not CDPR's upper management, who kept lying when they knew the truth about the state of the game.

Almost a year after release, the game is still mediocre. Both the amateurish roadmap that was officially presented and the "big fixes" published already show CDPR do not intend to change this. Through the grapevine, we learned that the developers are still busy with Cyberpunk 2077, just not with developing what was promised. They want to present their shareholders DLCs that make them more money, and those are cheapest developed without improving the basic structure of the game.

The huge difference between No Man's Sky's and Cyberpunk 2077's studios is that No Man's Sky's is an indie dev who was in a position to decide that their destroyed reputation was worth saving. So. they invested the money they had made into developing the missing promised features and much more during the years after the game went gold. Kudos to them for this. They could all have bought a sunny island each instead, and lived on their earnings.

But CDPR is a publicly-traded company. Meaning its owners are as much interested in the company's reputation among gamers as a premier game studio like EA: Not one bit, as long as it does not endanger their profits. They already bagged all those profits in 2020, complained about the game not selling well in 2021 (what a surprise), and took CDPR to court over the stock price loss - surprisingly (to them) the same people who had lied to the gamers had lied to the investors, as well. For these lies and the resulting sales, CDPR's management received bonuses in the millions in the spring of 2021.

None of them had a sleepless night over the game's low quality, and they will do their darndest to keep CDPR's developers from doing what should have been done before the game went live: Develop functioning game mechanics and implement what was promised.

So, as much as my heart bleeds saying this: No, we will not see Cyberpunk 2077 to follow No Man's Sky.

PS: Almost a year later, close to nothing has been done regarding the many big holes in the game, where the content was promised or even a fake implementation was shown.

After the Next Generation Patch, 14 months after release: I checked a dozen bugs that were claimed as fixed, according to the patch notes. Fixed in the devs' dreams, maybe, but not in the game. After ten hours, I could not continue testing, due to a bug that stops progression, known since Day 1. Nice job, CDPR. Do not think you will see one cent from me in the future. This includes any further DLCs for Witcher 3, or GOG purchases. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The world LOOKS fantastic, the city is amazing, but its hollow and feels empty. You rescue a person being attacked by a gang and that person just stands there screaming that they're being attacked, not a single pedestrian has ever had anything to say to me or responded to me in any way outside generic no-context blurbs. Its not immersive in any way, compared to something like GTA or Red Dead Redemption 2, its just not on the same level by any stretch of the imagination.

The story so far seems interesting, and the voice acting is great, but that's about it. Not at all what they have marketed it to be even if you ignore all the hype.

So yeah 2/10 because its broken in so many ways, if/when they fix the game I will update to maybe 5/10 or 6/10, can't see it being much more than that based on how shallow and empty it is outside the story missions.

Fortunately, haven't run into any gamebreaking glitches that would stop me from progressing through a quest. What you can expect though, as of version 1.06 in early January 2021, are the countless of little immersion-breaking technical issues all over the place, mostly NPCs behaving like absolute morons, cop system being broken, physics being funny at times and the UI glitching.

Even still, I really really enjoyed this. The narrative and the lovable characters in Cyberpunk 2077 are so strong in my opinion, that they alone and the emotional rollercoaster you ride through in your journey in stunning Night City EASILY make Cyberpunk 2077, even in it's current sorry state, a delightful experience.

I eagerly await for any future updates, patches, fixes and expansions from CDPR. So buy this in a year if you haven't already and can't, understandably, tolerate the technical issues.

Not at all I was expecting. I didn't mind the bugs so much although they are irritating. I realize that some games have a rough launch (think of Witcher 3) and Cyberpunk 2077 obviously falls into this category.

However, the thing that disappoints me in this game is not the bugs but the game design itself. There is the lack of all those open world features that the trailers led us to believe we were getting and which would have made this game immersive. If you've got the hardware to handle it, the city looks great, but you soon realize that it is mostly window dressing and there is very little that you can interact with outside any scripted quests. If you compare this aspect of the game with GTA 4 or GTA 5 for example, then the Rockstar games have far more interactive content. Another aspect of the game that is poor is player interaction with NPCs. For example, the relationship / romance feature is very limited and simple, offering nothing new. Everything feels so obviously pre-determined and tightly scripted. Character customization is not much more than a choice of few presets and the ability to change hair and eye color. Again, GTA 5 beats this by a wide margin. Same applies to weapons customization. Skills progression seems unnecessarily complicated and gives you so little advantage that it becomes quite meaningless.
My reaction to the first 10 hours or so of this game was that CDPR had pulled a 'No Man's Sky' on us. In other words, they failed to achieve their goals by a wide margin, but decided to mislead the public with fake trailers and false promises right up to the release date.

No major fixes or improvements, game still feels sluggish, and really nothing to do in this game after completing it and seeing all the boring endings accept of the panam ending which is the best one imo. Overall im keeping my old review below the update but honestly dont bother with this game anymore.

After going ahead and completing the game and waiting for more patches to come out i promised myself i will delete my old review and edit the review and truly describe how much of the hype was real about cyberpunk 2077.
Im gonna start by saying that the people comparing the game to GTA or any rockstar titles, just note that rockstar has more than half of CDPR's staff and have a bigger budget as well as investors and backers and have much more experience in open world games. So if youre trying to trash other open world games that are not made by rockstar then your comparison is awful! and you probably didnt play any bethesda or ubisoft (which is the worst of the bunch) games at all! and you should appreciate was CDPR delivers in this game and you will see that they truly make games with a ton of heart and soul.
After i got that out of the way here is my review:
I want to say that Cyberpunk 2077 is such a beautiful game in all its aspects, with so much attention to detail in dialogues with NPC's and the open world and especially the amazing night city. Especially when playing on a high end PC youre going to experience RTX like ever before and i dint think visually there is no game thats matching Cyberpunk! The game is so freaking beautiful and so realistic and alive. But one thing is for sure its missing a TON of physics to be implemented into the engine.
Other than that, the gameplay is very very fun but at times it can be meh like and not realistic or fun at all. When you start guns blazing everywhere its not fun at all like in COD but feels more like far cry, heck even the NPC's during combat act like the ridiculous NPC's like in far cry so you wont find anything interesting when you get noticed, rather i found stealth to be much more fun in the game and far more interesting with loads of different approaches and especially fun once you upgrade your cyberweare and skills. The melee combat is also meh and not as impactful or interesting unless you use the mantis blades, all the fist fights and sword fights are not as fun or impactful.
Driving in the game is dull and faster cars feel so bubbly like where the just fly all over when you get to a certain speed, and the mini map while driving really needs an improvement!!! i believe they shouldve just taken driving influence from NFS games where its exactly in between realistic and arcadey.
Story wise, OMG the story is unbelievable! its so beautiful and well crafted and so many options and paths to choose and overall i dont want to spoil anything, but wow! I have also never felt so connected to video game characters like this since the mass effect trilogy!
Tho it is missing a ton of content and scenes and you can feel the cut out content to try and rush the game but i felt like it really needed more, and i dont know who complained about how the witcher 3 was long but thats probably CDPR not showing self blame that they tried to rush this project as much as possible in the best way possible. I really wanted more acts or a opening missions and something longer that wouldnt make me feel so empty after i finished the game. I dont want to talk about much of the story to not spoil but i wish the game was longer because it needed that extra 10-20 more hours of story telling. Hopefully DLC's will make up for that.
Soundtrack is phenomenal! nothing to add much because its a 10!
So overall to not make this review entirely long im going to say that i am 100% absolutely loving the game! it does live up to the hype and im so in love with cyberpunk! tho there is missing features and cut out content that really disappointed me in a way but non the less its a well crafted game that is a must buy on pc! and i cannot wait to see what CDPR continues to bring in the future.

The game deserves an 8.5 / 10, but I give it a 10 because I am outraged by those who give it a 0. A game with a great storyline, atmosphere and gameplay. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was all about the hype when this game was announced and ever since they started promoting it literally everywhere. The world design of cyberpunk is beautiful, you can walk up to any pavement or building and it looks awesome, but the thing is that's all the game is. It focuses so heavily on making things look shiny, that it forgets these things should also work properly.
There's no I in the AI of Cyberpunk NPC, Cops spawn randomly if there's a 2 feet empty gap behind you and sometimes they don't even take the effort to hide the fact that they spawned randomly behind you. Sometimes they even spawn right in front of you out of nowhere. The NPC's do not talk except for the one line reply that they give, it's almost as if there are 50 replies and they randomly respond with one. Being an RPG, I thought at-least that part of dialogue would be good. When you stop mesmerizing at the world, you start noticing how devoid of life Night City is, Non-existent water physics, No NPCs seen driving bikes, guessing because their "AI" follows a scripted path instead of actually an AI being there. Outside of the side quests and main story-line, Night City doesn't let the player interact with anything at all. It isn't fun.
The loot system looks like it was developed at the very end and rushed like the rest of the game. The player doesn't feel anything special about the weapons they receive because they receive a better one at literally the next side quest or main mission.

    Spoiler:

Jackie's death doesn't make me feel anything at all because we only know him for the first 15 mins and guess what? The actual important friendship between V and Jackie is given off as a cut-scene for half a minute. Seems like half their development budget went towards getting Keanu Reeves who comes off as an arrogant guy as he is supposed to be, but Keanu's acting lets admit, is average at best. People love him because of how wholesome he is and never consider him to be Joaquain so that part is disappointing.

I could go on and on about the variety of bugs in the game which would be fixed, but these core components of the game regarding AI, Physics, Story-line stems from the base engine of the game which I doubt we would ever see bettered. Very disappointed after waiting for so long, CDPR I hope you are happy with the Christmas sales you so rushed out to get your game released for because in the process, you've lost your reputation as a trustworthy company.

I really want to give this game a fair shake, but the level of bugs on display should make Bethesda blush. I have never seen a game released in such a broken state since Anthem. I can't believe I have to write that, but it's true. Is there a brilliant game lying under all these bugs? No. Even if it were perfect and bug free this game is not over an 8/10. Why? Read on.

The gameplay systems on offer are completely unbalanced, broken, and appear to be barely playtested. You can combine stat bonus using both multipliers and percentages in infinite loops, completely breaking the damage and leveling curve. You can, at very near the beginning of the game, create a pistol with the damage of a nuclear missile. Stealth is very difficult in the early game, and near impossible. You can maybe stealth around a couple of guys, but then everyone ends up alerted and there is no reset for that to go back into cover or lose them. In the late game, stealth becomes so easy, you can just blind everyone and walk past them. There is no middle ground.

Crafting is utterly useless, as they basically created a looter-shooter, not a RPG. You are always just using whatever gun has the highest stats, and whatever you pickup is always more powerful than anything you can craft. The currency is completely unbalanced. Everything cool in this game isn't really purchasable until there is no time left to actually use any of it. Stat checks throughout the game are generally so low, that even min-maxing a character will result in you passing them with your lowest spec'd stats. Half of this game you are driving around, and the driving is the worst in any open world game I have ever seen. It's so bad you will either laugh or cry your way through the game, every time you get in a vehicle.

Then we get to the story. Yeah, there are some good story beats, interesting twists, but the payoff in any of the endings (I've seen them all, thanks to YouTube), feel very weak. Impossible for me to give detail without spoiling it, so I won't. Only to say that, Keanu is just wrongly cast in this as a really unlikable anti-hero that just wants to watch the world burn. At the end of the game, everything feels so pointless, like you only ever had the illusion of control throughout the experience. "It's about the journey, not the end" I hear you saying. For the time you spend with this game, much of it is very unexciting with your typical fetch quests for characters you don't care about. There are one or two standouts, and some great performances on display, but everyone in this world is just horrible, and that seems to be the point.

The real thing that rubs me wrong is just the state that this was released in. Playing through this game right now is an exercise in futility. I had to reload my saves so many times for stupid, stupid bugs. Things like broken missions, gun spec pop-ups stuck on the screen, unkillable enemies, and experienced 9 crashes across my playthrough. Performance on my 2070 Super, which should be no slouch is 1440p is just unbearable, I constantly saw drops below 30 fps when roaming, and never could hit 60 locked in any area of the game. I'm all for ambition, but you can't build a game for PCs and video cards that aren't even out yet. Your base experience needs to at least be playable.

People point to Witcher 3 having bugs, and how CDPR was so dedicated to fixing it. This is very, very different. Witcher 3 was NOTHING like this on launch. This game is in an unplayable state that most Early Access games exceed. If you dip your toe in the water, keep that refund timer running, because I do think you will refund this game, as many are. Please don't buy this game right now, wait for the developer to at least patch it to a level that lets you experience it as it was intended. This is absolutely a Fallout 76 / Anthem / No Man's Sky moment, and it is very sad to see that from a well respected developer. My, how the mighty have fallen.

I will never trust this company again. Big disaster. I am sure CDPR was aware the situation and collected money with marketing. They knew that they will not able to sell this game after the release. Their shares dropped 30% in one day. This summarizes what is going on!

Worst AAA character creation system I have seen since Destiny.
The NPCs have a simple AI, nothing like the 2018 demo.
Cops spawn right behind you when you kill someone, they don't even show up in police cars.
When you shoot or attack someone, all nonviolent NPCs will just crouch down and do nothing making no noise.
I'm very disappointed with this game

Originally, I gave this game a 6, and was quite early on in story-wise. What changed is that, as I played, the world slowly began to open up, and there was a lot more story content and world building that happened in that time. I think the greatest flaw of this game is that, if you just cut right to the side content, there won't be much there for you initially, which will turn off a lot of people, but as you get into Act II and beyond, more comes into play. The game hides too much at the beginning, giving you the wrong impression of the game, an otherwise amazing game it suffers because of it's linearity. I love the characters, the story, Takamura and Panam being my favorites, as well as Johnny Silverhand, who slowly becomes a love-able character, despite being an **** to you at first. This game is a solid RPG, even if it forks you into similar or even the same events, regardless of choices you make, but what is there is quite substantial. It's very hard to nail what makes a game an RPG, and despite this game's linearity, the choices you make still feel like they matter. There are a lot of negative things I have to say about this game as well. Cut content, no train, lacking character customization, bugs, voice gender lock, no they/them option at the very least, and while there are relationship and sexual encounters, they're few and far between, and some characters that were ripe for romance and sexual encounters (say like Takamura) are completely unavailable, despite the potential being there. Most of the game's buildings aren't really able to be explored. The game has issues with steady frame-rates even on the beefiest of PCs, let a lone mid range ones. And I see that it's a nightmare on console. All these things do take away from an otherwise GREAT action game with RPG elements, but do not completely destroy the experience. Now coming back to revise this review once more, I have to speak on the INSANE LACK of endgame content. Once you've finished your gigs and police scanner missions, the game is absolutely empty. All those dynamic encounters that they were talking about, and interactivity, just flat out wasn't there. The city becomes an empty shell of what could have been. This was an aspect that they really skimped out on, and I'd really expect actual endgame content from an open world sandbox rpg type game. Honestly disappointed, and all this game's negatives really do make this game a forgettable experience in the long run. The game is a fun time while it lasts, then you'll forget it. 7/10 Expand

I originally wrote a review of this game when I had somewhere around 20ish hours in the game. And at the time I gave it an 8/10.

To try and keep things succinct. I essentially said that the game was still fun and engaging despite its flaws on launch. And that its positives outweigh its negatives. I still stand by that, but the score needs to be amended. After putting an absurd amount

After putting an absurd amount of time in this game. A game that I clearly enjoy. Considering I've now played through every side quest and have tried to squeeze every bit of lore, story, and gameplay that this game has to offer. I gotta update my score from an 8 to a 5.

The amount of bugs I experienced that would prevent me from progessing on any particular mission went from being a *quirky feature* to a maddening and dissapointing expectation.

Ui bugs, progression bugs, not-playing-the-game-the-way-the-developers-wanted-me-to bugs in a game thats supposed to be all about choices and giving the player as much agency as possible, audio bugs, physics bugs, AI bugs, rendering bugs, lighting bugs, etc.

    it's just dissapointing.

It's clear that a lot of work went into this game.
    It shows.
there's detail everywhere throughout the world.
it's obvious that a lot of love went into making the game and the world, characters, etc.

Which just makes everything else so goddamn frustrating.
The dissapearing cars on the road.
The dissapearing pedestrians on the sidewalks.
The damn cops spawing right behind you or right in front of you.
AI that runs into walls and stands still while you lob bullets into their faces also have laser hawk vision and can spot you or a downed body from across the map. Or when they somehow detect a body that you've hidden when; 1.- they haven't found a goddamn thing and 2- what's the point of throwing in a bunch of dumpsters to hide bodies in if the AI is just going to magically find them anyway?

The stealth can be fun. But it's rules are among the worst for a stealth game. It's not anywhere near as fleshed out as MGS, the Arkham games, PS2 Splinter cell games, dishonored, etc. It tries, but boy does it come short every single damn time.

There's an incredible game hidden under the mess.

I don't expect it to take all the ideas from the best RPGs of the last decade.
But it certaintly borrows a whole lot of ideas.
And the ones it lacks are the ones I had expected prior to launch.
I'm talking stuff like a faction system. A reputation system.
I mean- there is a rep system in the game.
But it ain't exactly fallout new vegas tier.

    idk.
    I'm just rambling here.
there's a lot I want to say about this game but 5k characters isn't enough
and trying to explain one point only leads me to a million other tangents related to how this game is simultaneously flaming-hot-garbage while also still being one of the best games I've played in recent memory.

The game it could be is AT LEAST an 8
but the game that it is currently is a 5, at best.

My opinion on this game is more nuanced than the idiots that are review bombing this because the game can't run on their obsolete-before-it-was-even-on-the-market-7-year-old-space-heater-cockroach-motel-console.

Again, this is a good game.
But it's also flaming hot garbage.

The atmosphere by floating phones, the stealth by cameras that turn on on their own in spite of being hacked, people seeing through cover, bodies ragdolling and landing other places than where you put them, combat by your quickhacks not working for no reason, the graphics by horrible optimization, and RELOADING by CONTROLS BEING RESET TO DEFAULT.

The design mentality has not moved beyond the year the game started production and the fact that there is such a tremendous disparity between what the consumer thinks of the game and what the critics think of the game is indicative that the critics are not to be trusted. The score would have been higher if it wasn't because you should never give more than 20 bucks for a video game and this one claimed to be worth 60.

I don't know if they will fix it, you can't fix the story I think, but this game still has potential. For now, i feel cheated. Waiting for the next moves from CDPR. Everything that i care for is a good story, hope next DLCs will be better and longer.

I would even play with 40 fps, but they are also unstable and the jumps are noticeable to the eye.
You can list all the advantages and disadvantages of the game for a long time, but the main thing in my opinion is the developer's attitude towards the buyers of their product. System requirements alone, which do not correspond to reality, can be considered deliberately misleading the player for the sake of gaining a profit, or, simply speaking, fraud. The technical state of the game is of fundamental importance, because against the backdrop of nightmarish performance, all the advantages of the game fade. There should be no compromises in a quality game. Refunds. (I tried to translate as best as possible, sorry for my English if that)

I wanted three-dimensional characters who can't be described in just one or two sentences. I got all of it plus amazing graphic, stunning city and surprisingly fun gameplay. The story could be a little longer (like in Witcher 3) and your choices could be more meaningfull but it's still one of the best stories I ever experienced. The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
