Dec 11, 2020Over promised and under developed. Feels like an improvement on the Deus Ex formula but not what the promised. If it wasn't so buggy in its current state I'd give it a 6
-
Dec 11, 2020Misleading marketing, terrible porting to consoles, and general QoL issues makes this game really hard to enjoy, wait for a sale or don’t just even bother

Dec 11, 2020Literally unplayable, laggy and clunky. A lot of crash all the time and couldn't play a lot of hours. Combat and driving horrible and shallow. Needed more time in the oven.

Dec 11, 2020It breaks my heart to say this but even if the game did not have any bugs and was well optimized for consoles, the game on its own is a step back in terms of story and open world. Cdpr intentionally hyped this game out of oblivion and they are to blame for there downright false marketing. I can't even run this game well on medium and I have a pretty beefy pc.

Dec 11, 2020I find this game unplayable on the Xbox one s as of dec.11. The frame rate is very low, which makes moving the camera aroundvery disorienting. The game has this ugly upgrainy and blurry look to it. The graphics are reminiscent of ps2 games. Objects pop into view all of a sudden. This is not worth the $60 I paid for. Do not buy this game on consoles!

Dec 11, 2020Game itself is fine, but technical problems are just bad. Huge disappointment

Dec 11, 2020I have experienced 4 crashes in the past 5 hours of gameplay, all in the middle of story missions. Not only that, the numerous graphical bugs that I've encountered (ie; at certain points the game more closely resembling a DOOM wad than a modern AAA title, I very much hope that this game will, in the future, be patched into a more playable product. For now though, I can't continue to play it.

Dec 11, 2020Terrible performance, they used most of their budget in marketing. Really annoyed with the result, the game itself is actually good but the current technical state is horrible.

Dec 11, 2020Besides the unplayable console versions (which warrants a 0, let alone a 4) everything about Cyberpunk is lackluster outside of Missions. Shallow open world design with zero interactivity, laughable AI and NPC reaction in general, useless LifePaths and player choice, lacking customization and bland skill trees leaves the player a really sour taste, after the hype starts to fade.

Dec 11, 2020Under delivers, unfinished and over-hyped. We’ve been lied to, and this games only saving grace is the story at this point

Dec 11, 2020Missions are interesting but don’t expect a good, open-world RPG. City is pretty lifeless and not much to do between missions.

CD-ActionJun 9, 2021The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

May 28, 2021Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Mar 3, 2021Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
