    Tons of ridiculous bugs, **** optimization even for PC version, unacceptable frame rate even in small empty rooms on my 1070Ti, shooting is absolutely uncontrollable, because input has an incredible lag.

    Literally, no AI in the game. No combat AI, No driving AI, No NPC AI. Full of bugs. Unjoyful game.

    Its a work in progress at least on console, but on my midrange pc its playing fine, and is overall a great game.

    The story is lovely. Bugs have not been an issue for me. Graphics are great on a PC with 2080TI. Would recommend if you are mainly into story and exploration and own a good Machine. For others probably wait for optimizations. Worth though!

    If like me you play on an xbox series s, this game performs very poorly for a last gen game. Maybe the proper new current gen version next year will improve things, but running the xbox one version on the series s is not a good experience at all. It actualy plays, runs and feels better on my old 1x!

    Finally good game after 8 years of waiting.
    Some technical glithes, but this is ok 4 me, just restart a game and go on. 400$ pc have no problems.

    I have had an absolutely amazing time with this game on pc. I am 20 hours in and I have loved every second. The world is so full, so detailed, it is just amazing to be in. A great story, a plethora of choices on how to play, from stealthy hacker to Rambo samurai. RPG elements overall are great, nothing groundbreaking i would say but a lot to be fantastic. I sure miss some basic and simpleI have had an absolutely amazing time with this game on pc. I am 20 hours in and I have loved every second. The world is so full, so detailed, it is just amazing to be in. A great story, a plethora of choices on how to play, from stealthy hacker to Rambo samurai. RPG elements overall are great, nothing groundbreaking i would say but a lot to be fantastic. I sure miss some basic and simple things as a hairdresser or plastic surgeon, to come back to that amazing character creator, but I am sure these kinds of features will come in future updates or from the modding community. I have had minimal bugs in my play-through, the only annoying one being: dropped loot stuck in the floor not able to pick it up, but this happens rarely. Nothing game or immersion breaking. I do have to point out, the game is so heavy to run. On my gtx 1070ti I run at med-high at 45-60 fps. I went for beauty over performance. It still feels quite smooth, but a lot more to be desired. Graphical bugs every now and then, some slow texture pop-ins, you notice this, it is not too often luckily. The game is just so full and big, it makes sense it is not easy to run at high FPS, hopefully more optimisation comes. Also knowing this came out for older consoles, and will run very badly, I cannot give it a 10/10.… Expand

    It’s not perfect but If you’ve got a mid to high end PC or the next generation consoles, this game is amazing. I’ve got a very high end PC and while it’s a demanding game, the visuals are by far the most impressive I’ve ever played. The main story is engaging and the side quests are fun. There’s enough content in the game for easily 50-100 hour play throughs if you want to take part in theIt’s not perfect but If you’ve got a mid to high end PC or the next generation consoles, this game is amazing. There’s enough content in the game for easily 50-100 hour play throughs if you want to take part in the side quests. My play through has some visual bugs that’ll be ironed out but it’s nothing game breaking.

    The RPG elements are enough to make it interesting and the world they’ve built is seriously impressive. Give it a few months for the trolls to stop review bombing and you’ll see a truer reflection of the games quality. If you’re on an original Xbox and PS4 console, wait to play it on the newer generation. The game is simply too ambitious for the old hardware.    … Expand

Immersion is so good in Night City. Side quests are fun, Main story is really interesting (to me at least), lots of skill perks/tress etc. Driving is quite good, along with Hacking which is quite enjoyable.     I originally played Cp2020 rpg back in the 90s this game captures everyting that was great about that game. The world building that Cdpr have created is mind blowing.

    The Game is awesome. Night City and the Story is a must see/play for every player who likes good singleplayer games. Bugs and Glitches are normal for a game like this . My game of the year. I am playing on pc.

    10 after 2 days of playing non stop. I have good but not superb PC - RTX 2070 Super, i5 8th generation and i play on maximum details with ray tracing

    Plot - 10 - Addictive... seriously Music - 10 - Especially the combination with action, game is very well designed and music corresponds to moments in game very very good. Graphic - 10 - Plastic bags look like plastic you see that feel    10 after 2 days of playing non stop. I have good but not superb PC - RTX 2070 Super, i5 8th generation and i play on maximum details with ray tracing

    Performance - 10 as wrote above my PC is not high ended tec and it runs like crazy
    Bugs -10 and yes 10 because those bugs are minor things, they will fix them, i did not occur any game crasher, where i reminds old days playing KOTOR2 - this was bugged! and still its a great game. Here we have some glitches with graphic.... yea well who cares i have job to do :)

I don’t remember such a poor graphics and perforamnce for a long time. Digital Foundation reports FPS drops to 15 and 720p dynamic resolution. Yes, the game is next gen thing, and you shouldn't wait for a miracle on ps4, but if the developers had even tried, then the level of TLOU2, Spider-Man, RDR2, etc. could be reached... well, at least get closer. CDPR developed this game for a top-end PC from day one, and then released it on basic consoles to snatch money... They used PC verion to market this game, never showed ps4/xbox one version prior release, and lied in interviews that game feels and runs good on current gen conoles (at the time when ps5,xsx were not presented).
    I'm waiting for my ps5 and native next-gen version next year. For now it gonna be refund request.    … Expand

    The game, of course, lacks optimization and it is a mistake of the developers that they announced it so early. But even in this state, this is the best game since the release of The Witcher 3 and RDR 2.

    I can run this game quite well with gtx1060 in 1080p and have a decent performance. But guys, there are so many bugs. It is very hard to enjoy cut scenes when here and there you see floating and flickering textures.

    The game is not any kind of innovative. It feels like playing an advanced version of Deus Ex.
    Even with al bugs patched this game is too boring second-class journey.

    It's actually one of the best games rpg in world. Yes it's true that CD Projekt Red **** up with communications regarding old consoles. But ps4 and xbox one sucks without cyberpunk 2077

    Game is the definition of fire. Obviously there are lots of bugs currently but considering the scale of the game I was expecting such to be the case. With updates I believe it will be better for the people who has bad experiences on lower specs or older consoles.
    A truly next gen game with the most absorbing atmosphere. 10/10 from me.

    Performance is solid, i didnt encounter bugfest as many other people. At least not yet in 50 hours i've played. On mostly ultra settings with RTX and DLSS, fps are betwenn 40 and 50. Which is not bad for me. The game is not polished though, but im still having a blast. There are ways to play the game.     Шикарная игра с большим открытым миром, множеством разных и проработанных персонажей, эту игру реально можно назвать RPG, ведь от твоего выбора зависит многое. Игра даёт тебе 100000 возможностей, такого я не видел давно, да баги есть, но все, с которыми я сталкивался были визуальными и незначительными, при создании такой огромной игры из наличия избежать невозможно. Я игрой доволенШикарная игра с большим открытым миром, множеством разных и проработанных персонажей, эту игру реально можно назвать RPG, ведь от твоего выбора зависит многое.     Cyberpunk a game we all waited for so long. The Start maybe a bit rocky but the potential is there. I think in a few months the game will reach the point where it feels like the future. I enjoy every minute even if it’s still a buggy mess but I trust CD Project red to do their best fixing bugs and patching things up! In an perfect world the game would be big free at lunch but consideringCyberpunk a game we all waited for so long. The Start maybe a bit rocky but the potential is there. I think in a few months the game will reach the point where it feels like the future.     We have tons of content, places, characters, weapons, vehicles, clothes. A lot of different side missions. And the main story it’s pure gold.     Masterpiece. Phenomenal game. Game of the Year 2020. Gorgeous graphics, history, music, style, atmosphere.
    Night City is amazing, gigantic, insanely detailed.

    CD Project RED, thank you for this masterpiece. You saved the 2020 game year!

    Playing on PS4 Pro, the game looks and feels amazing.

    ИИ в этой игре ужасен. Ты можешь врезаться в машину неигрового персонажа и тебе ничего не будет, начнешь бить кулаками или стрелять по этой машине и тебе тоже ничего не будет, npc будет просто сидеть в машине и мирно смотреть на это.
    История может и неплоха, но это всё нивелируется ужасной технической составляющей.
    CD Project Red нагло развели нас. Я уверен, что каждый, кто ждал эту игру, ожидал революции в сфере видеоигр. Но мы получили посредственный шутер в неоновом стиле с кучей багов и недоработок, который своих денег не стоит. Это не уровень Redов, это уровень Ubisoft. Надеюсь, что разработчики что-то сделают со своим уродливым детищем.    … Expand

    It's alright. Not as good as hype says, and definitely not as bad as some old-gen console owners or frustrated PC gamers claim. The immersion is perfect. I've experienced practically no bugs - it crashed twice in ~20 hours. It's RDR2 level IMO, so chill and enjoy Night City!

    I tried play it on xbo FAT - it's a really disaster right now. But, after 20h of play on xsx (pc version is closer to this experience than xbo, so i leave my rating here) i can't take breath. I had like 2 2sec. freezes and couple of funny bugs, that's all. Everything else - absolutely amazing!

    Game is grate. City is grate, story is grate and gameplay. I also don't have any problem with graphic (playing on good pc gtx 1080ti).
    There are some bugs which should be fixed but after some hours of play you start to ignore them.

The combat is satisfying as the perks and mods along make a noticeable impact, and you can feel some progression going on. Driving feels a lot like riding Roach, but less "on rails." This is NOT GTA, and it's not supposed to be. Driving is merely the primary way you get from place to place, just as Roach was the primary way you moved around in witcher. The story and missions have so far been great, and all of the sidequests have little stories to them, similar to The Witcher 3. Overall, if you enjoyed the witcher 3 and aren't expecting call of duty or GTA, you will probably enjoy this game, but stay away from the salty ass subreddit for a while until all the whiners go away (or check out /r/lowsodiumcyberpunk instead)

    There are some obvious bugs but I haven't encountered anything gamebreaking. I've soft locked myself twice but always had a recent autosave to fall back on. Given CDPRs reputation and history, I expect they'll fix all of the issues along with adding more content in the future. If I could rate this out of 10 I'd give it a 9. The open world is laborious and unplayable. Graphics and gameplay is below 720p and sometimes will never manage to load in textures and framerate persistently reaches as low as 15fps and can or will stay like that. The amount of bugs and glitches is completely messed up and it is without question the most horrendously bugged, glitched and poorly performing game ever released. General combat gameplay is a similar calibre to Outer Worlds, but sometimes feels like an old Halo game from 2000s. Shooting often bullet sponging enemies with tactically OP firearms and melee with underwhelming feedback and collision. QA testers around November time pointed to a still-unfinished game across all facets of it's content. I'm shocked at how much that isn't just tolerable things. But this 'crunch' that everyone knew about was more serious than what was ever told - they had to scrap the game as an RPG game and instead title it an Action-Adventure due to the vast number of things removed which no longer qualified it as an RPG. Non-extensively or to name a few, they removed large mechanics such as:

    All normal spider bot gameplay Removed skill trees (Techie etc) Whole wall running mechanic scrapped The subway system as fast travel system scrapped - replaced with a loading screen. Vehicle and home customisation scrapped Character customisation such as haircuts and augments cut
    Other storage options removed such as wardrobe, all done in inventory now

    The bugs etc are pervasive enough to ruin the experience and spoil it. The crashing is regular enough to frustrate players into switching off, then your character falling through the scenery nearly as frequently as the crashes which can happen several times in an hour of gameplay. Missions get stuck permanently (currently have two side missions and my main story permanently non-progressing), dialogue sticks and have to reset. NPCs and AI is diabolical and there is actually 'no AI' for several concepts in the game such as driving. One blatant example being the whole wanted level system where cops come for you. They don't actually come arriving to you — they just spawn right beside you in plain sight and start shooting. Then they simply vanish into thin air when you leave the scene. Textures and rendering never loading causing reset.. The game has so many severe problems that you'd never be done, but I'm legit concerned with how this is a genuinely far from finished game that has been hyped up and sold. Totally unacceptable for a game of 8 years in development. Cyberpunk is easily one of the most horrendous releases gaming history. The gaming community must learn about pre-ordering games and the expectations and hype they have for them prior to actually seeing a complete product. Consumers need to change and learn a serious lesson from this.    … Expand

It can be Blade Runner in one moment, Dredd in the other, Ghost in the Shell in third. But it is a Cyberpunk and it is good.

    Game, as a game, is ok. Whoever is saying "This game is awful" without any clarification is just full of crap. Game has pretty good combat, stealth felt kinda meh, driving is simplistic.

    I went to the game with kind of a mood of expectations not muddled by ads and people. I didn't know what to expect. It started not exactly how I imagined it, but it is ok - we are often making our opinions based not on game, but on presentations and how people are influencing them. I didn't want any of that crap.

    This game is no masterpiece.

    It's a good game, plagued with launch issues.
    It needs patches to increase performance, rendering and fix visual glitches.
    So far it was quite stable for me, froze once for several seconds, but had bad performance and a lot of TAA with terrible reconstruction.
    Also, it's one of few releases where my 1060 actually shows its age already.

    Do I recommend this game? YES! If you like cyberpunk, and by cyberpunk I mean not the "I never asked for this" or "something-something AUGMENTATIONS!!!" or "something something HUMANITY" but pretty trashy society that has pretty high tech on the level where buying new arm is like buying a new phone - some people do that because it will better go with their fashion, and people's clothing designs being just terrible (lol, look around in any big city and tell me if popular designs for clothes aren't trash) and all being kept by corporations not because of evil illuminati but because of consumerism, where you can not go 30 feet without getting new ad, tailored to be as aggressive and suggestive as it can be, then this is a game you will probably love. And you probably bought it anyway.

    This is no high-philosophy game, although it can be that couple of times when you reflect on yourself, your actions, your life. Yes, it can be.

    Also, in this game you can be a psychotherapist for a car with suicidal tendencies. What's not to like there?

    Game is good, but missing some depth in terms of roleplay and immersion, and definitely buggy as hell. I've encountered one bottleneck bug just following the main story that forced me to replay the whole mission, which is not the most fun.

    Pc version, after some settings calibration the game looks great on lg oled. ultra/high settings, rtx2060 1440p dlss quality, rtx off, hdr, 57-80fps, capped at 58fps with g-sync for smooth picture. I had some bugs during the game, but it still a good game, i like it.

This is why it is 9, not a 10, it is my personal, subjective taste rather than an objective number.

    Obviously, there were tough decisions in development. Some seemingly obvious mechanics or customization options are absent. But as long as I get everything else in the same package, I'm OK with this.

    Disgraceful performance even on the PS5. Non stop crashing, pop ups, glitches and an overall experience that lacks immersion or coherence. AI is non existent, cars float, flip or just appear. Story has potential but the issues elsewhere detract and remove you from what could be a partial immersive experience.

WTF

But overall if you are into the cyberpunk universe you should find what you are looking for, characters are interesting the tutorial itself is about 6 hours (with cutscene), there is an insane amount of weapons and clothes with different stats, you can take the weapons of any enemies you shot. The writing is amazing, but again I'm full-on in the cyberpunk universe. Just a bit sad there isn't a 3rd person view so my different clothes would actually matter.
    I understand the frustration over the bugs, and I'm glad I have almost none, watchdog legion got me 3 blue screens and crashed every hour when Cyberpunk 2077 never crashed, and don't overheat too much my laptop. I play with high settings with a 1070-maxQ on a laptop with 30-40 fps and it's fluid enough, might be an issue when the multiplayer comes out but as a single-player experience, it's good.

    I would call it a light RPG game as there is less freedom than Skyrim, meaning you can't shoot whoever you want and the progression is driven to a specific goal you need to achieve in a specific order, with some freedom of course but I wish I could shot some specific people before X thing happens and feel like having more control.
    If you like games like fallout 3&4 and love the cyberpunk universe I would definitely recommend it to you.    … Expand

    Unfinished and buggy. AI is crap (absolute crap, worse than most games these 10 last years, unbelievable), gameplay is at best average, the city is empty and you hit walls everywhere. It feels like you're on rails all the time. It shouldn't be advertised as an "open world rpg".
    60 euros is way too much for a broken alpha. Do not buy this game at least until a year or two.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
