On the pc version i have experiences very few glitches and when they do its mostly some npc glitching into something. No crashes or game breaking bugs.

There is so much going on in this game. Main missions are awesome. Most sidemissions have the same quality and often same length as main missions. There are also shorter missions called gigs that are fun to play.

No problem recommending this game your pc is up to it. Its demanding with all whistle and bells on, but turning down gfx and effects it can be played also on older pc's.

Excited to see what more they will do with time with this game. It can only get even better.

Beautiful game, lot of potential. Just a few patches to fix the animation bugs and a little more polished AI and we have a master piece. Reminds me of skyrim in a way... bug ridden but atmospheric and well designed.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is truly amazing.

The open World, the Characters, the Story, the gunplay - all of this deserves a 10 out of 10 in my opinion. I have to take 1 point away because its not perfectly optimized, which should not happen after so much delay and development time. I dont share the same bad experiences like some other unlucky souls. I dont share the same bad experiences like some other unlucky souls. After 33 hours, my game didn't crash even once so far and i had only a handful bugs. Some Quests or NPC'S got stuck and i had to reload a Savegame. Some Interface and sound bugs or texture loading bugs... but i cant say that this has made an impact on my gaming experience at all.

I love this game and i cant wait to play more.

Don't be so hard on CDPR.

I feel in its current state an 8 is fair.

The game despite bugs, and yes there are a fair few, runs smooth on my setup, at pretty much max settings.
Now that said i cannot use ray tracing as i am on a 10XX nvidia card.
    My setup is,
    CPU- i5 7600k
    GPU- 1070
    RAM- 16gb HyperX
    HDD- WD Black
    OS - Win 10, EVO 860 m.2 SSD
    Running at 1080p

I am a good 20+ hours in, and i have not crashed once.
I had the tree glitch at first, but after updating my drivers that went away.
The bulk extent of my bugs are pop in, NPC's and vehicles sometimes taking a while to fully render (it might be just bc i am running off of a HDD, not an SSD), floating objects, generally little things that have fallen off dead NPC's or knocked down.

But other then that, runs smooth, and i have really been enjoying the game, i have paid more for less game.
i feel even with bugs the games well worth the money, its not like its FO76 and they are not fixing the game, they are working hard to fix issues.

I would have considered this a solid 9.5 (i don't believe any game is a 10 nothing is perfect)
if choices had more consequences, and many of the features promised where fully fleshed out.
But i genuinely feel that we where not outright lied to in that regard, it genuinely feels like they planned to have those elements in the game, but time constraints just did not allow for it.

I am hoping like no mans sky, we will see a good chunk of these elements rolled out later on, with player feedback.

The games not done yet, there is plenty of planned story DLC so improvements are coming.
And there is a whole MP build in the works as well.

unlike the disingenuous 3k+ morons, i am giving what i feel is an honest review, as someone who is playing and enjoying what is there.

It's buggy, and the performance isn't the best but those are things that can be fixed (hopefully,) now this being said I don't LOVE the game I find the melee combat to be tedious at best, the stealth isn't fully implemented the side quests from what I have seen so far are few and far between at least the ones with actual story. I enjoy the 'side gigs' but I would have preferred less side gigs and more story driven side quests. The main story is compelling and interesting so far. Overall this game is good, for people to give it a **** 1-3 is a completely idiotic, everyone is just angry because CD Projekt Red didn't **** save the universe and reverse global warming. Also, why is metacritic one of the worst places to look at users reviews? I think it's because unlike Steam you don't see how long someone has played a game, they just toss a review and they could've played an hour at best. Anyway, it's a decent game not perfect but definitely a fun excursion. Expand

Easily put in 90 hours doing side and main missions, wished the main story was longer and a little more impact in the world when completing major missions or side gigs. Time flew by when playing and a few sleep deprived days ensued with 'its what time?!?!?!' when taking a break.

Perhaps expectations and early bugs held the game back from higher reviews. The game was on the cusp of greatness, Skyrim or RR2 scale and could have maybe been the best game ever. Just falls short of that.

    It was very enjoyable.

100% recommend to buy on sale.

I would wish that a lot more energy went into telling a compelling story, because this is like being forced to watch Johnny Mnemonic again, slowly. It sucks! I want to be free and explore this beautifully done universe on my own terms, not having a second rate narrative crammed down my throat. However, I only played for about 5 hours, and I will give the game a couple of more chances, so view this as a preliminary review. Expand

If you like RPGs it’s a must buy. Support games like this and don’t let it die because of some normal video game bugs and it not living up to the “hype” people created for themselves. If any other studio made this game people would be congratulating them. Instead they’re upset CDPR can’t magic old machines to play new games. Weapons feel futuristic, but still feel punchy. Gunplay feels really solid, and generally just better than a lot of other popular open world games I've played. The Cyberpunk atmosphere is beautiful, feels gritty and interesting, but could feel a bit more alive. Not that there aren't a lot of npcs running around some places, but something about them makes them seem a bit "robotic and lifeless". The open world feels huge, I haven't seen half of it yet. Performance is good enough that I can play with a m&kb(if barely) on my Ryzen 2700x and a Gtx 1070 after turning a few options down from "high" settings and increasing the fov slightly @1080p. I honestly couldn't be happier with this game but I won't be a fanboy and I'll give it a 9. Looking forward to lots and lots of hours in Night City, and all the dlcs to come! Expand

This game is awesome, immersive, and might have the best presentation in any game that I've ever played. The scale and density of detail is second to none. It's not the biggest world around if measured by land area, but I think it's the most well realized we've seen so far.

Plot and story-wise I found that it helped me immensely to have first read The World of Cyberpunk 2077, since I was previously unfamiliar with the details of the Cyberpunk universe. I could see complete newbies to the lore being somewhat confused and overwhelmed. There are some built-in lore dumps that can help, but that's probably not the best way to learn about the world. For me it's a bit less approachable than the world of the Witcher as they just kind of dump you in the middle of it without much of an intro. At least, that's how it was when I started my corpo lifepath character.

As I'm sure you've heard by now, yes, it currently has WAY more bugs than it should, but I am confident that they will be fixed. If you don't want to deal with bugs, then go ahead and wait a few months, but for me the quality of the game is otherwise so high that I can handle it being in a bit of a mess. It's unfortunate because the bugs are doing a massive disservice to this game. It's a testament to the game's other qualities that I still love it so much in spite of the numerous issues.

Performance is acceptable, and actually pretty good if you don't enable ray tracing. It's definitely a power hog if you wanna use RT, as it will nearly halve your frame rate immediately. I spent 3 weeks without sleep so I could get an RTX 3080, it's too bad Nvidia sucks and didn't produce enough of these cards for everyone who wanted one in time for this release. This is definitely a game that we will keep coming back to as new hardware generations are released.

Pick it up now if you can handle the bugs, but it's not going anywhere if you want to wait for a more polished experience.

Because I think a lot of people were expecting GTA with its stupid minigames all over the place and fleshed out wanted system and whatnot. it's obvious CDPR never set out to make that, they wanted to make a straight forward FPSRPG with a story like deus ex human revolution. That game had an open world too, but without all the boring GTA minigames or wanted system.

So in closing: If you liked Deus Ex Human revolution and want a game like that, except with an even greater story, play this game. If you like Witcher 3 and its dialogue heavy story, play this game. If you want GTAV2 and want to mindlessly drive around shooting people and playing in a sandbox, don't.

Literally the only bugs I encountered so far is the infamous trees glitch, and the game failing to leave combat zone and the quickhack view twice. I had to reload a few minutes of gameplay im either case. The game never crashed.

Maybe I am lucky but I just don't see the supposed mass of bugs people complain about and IMHO the game more than makes up for any with its qualities. Also, c'mon, for an AAA game with so much content and such graphics, would you really expect it to be perfect on launch? It is only my opinion but I prefer to judge games on potential, feel, ambition and uniqueness. Glitches routinely happen on launch, they are fixed and nobody remembers them in the long run.

The game was absolutely worth the wait.

Stayed away all this time as I knew at the time the hype wouldn't be delivered. Put 75 hours into it since patch 1.6 and really enjoyed my time with it and only paid £12 for so money well spent. The thing is though although I really liked the story and the characters which were great the actual game play is only average with dumb enemies who just Bob their heads up out of cover every 5Stayed away all this time as I knew at the time the hype wouldn't be delivered. The thing is though although I really liked the story and the characters which were great the actual game play is only average with dumb enemies who just Bob their heads up out of cover every 5 seconds or so. It really does feel like a great interactive movie with basic open world gameplay and features albeit it looks brilliant. Almost everything else feels underdeveloped or missing entirely. Playing it I was always thinking about how cool it would have been if this was in it or you could do that instead of the rudimentary gameplay that's actually there. Even the quickhacking is lacking so if you play it that way as I did you'll just end up using Short Circuit and Overheat most of the time while using Cyberpsychosis on enemies for a laugh more than anything. The other hacks are mostly pointless. The driving is basic too although faster cars handle better. Where are all the other motorcyclists? Random events? Why can't cars self drive to locations other than Delamain? Why can't they fly? Why are trains nothing but fast travel? Why are the police a joke who just stand on street corners? Why isn't there more involvement with the gangs or even the police like actual quest lines ala Skyrim? The list is endless for what should and could be in it however I'm still giving it an 8 as I was swept along with the main story and the main side character stories like Johnny, Panam, River and Judy. That side of the game is a high standard as the missions are well constructed and rarely just a case of just go here and do that on your own but it's still supposed to be a game not a movie otherwise it could have been one of the best games of all time. The setting is incredibly well done. The city feels alive, and the atmosphere is really well done.
If you've got a good computer and UPDATE YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVER, this game is a lot of fun.

This video lists some actual criticisms we should've heard about, but instead, i had to see a bunch of **** about malicious lights to kill the epileptics and violence's against trans because of lack of pronouns, and jeff grub not being able to eat at the hot dog stand so he hits it with that 60 on Metacritic.

The review mentions graphical downgrade, but ive long since stopped hitting studios for this unless its as egregious as UBISOFTs usual E3 Porn. But in general, i blame the graphical downgrade on consoles, as always. This reminds me of watchdogs, when sony went out of their way to make sure the pc graphics were in line with the console graphics so they could sell that narrative of being nex gen. With a new console launch, i would not be surprised if the same deal was taking place here. Graphical limitations have always been because of consoles, i see no reason for that to change now. Game still looks incredible, the crowd density shown in the trailer, exist in the game which helps make the world feel alive, which i think its a big deal because usually its not just the graphics downgraded, its the world population, night city is no wasteland.

Dont get me wrong, the game has some things that need to be fixed and addressed before i would give it a 10/10. So far, i give it an 8/10 after 6 hours of gameplay. I like the story, i have no problem with the pacing i was looking for an immersive world and i got it, i love the presentation, i love the fact that when the game loads it plays news stories, i am getting exactly what i expected - which was not some 0 to 60 run and gun action movie but a world you want to exist in. I like the mechanics but i am someone who will read the entire skill tree before spending a point so thats why it is fine for me. I look at the skill tree and i see the builds and the synergies and it makes me put pins down in my head that make me say "Im going to do that build next,", "This is what ill do with my nomad" etc, etc. After coming off games like assassin creed valhalla and immortal fenyx rising and the like, having actual builds beyond knowing that eventually i will get the entire skill tree unlocked in one playthrough so "who cares where i spend these points", is great.

I really like the character creator, my first character didnt turn out so well, but i went back in and spent even more time with it and the final result is something i really like interms of how realistic it looks and how it turned out - i have some complaints about the accessories, as i dont understand why earrings dont come in pairs or why hairstyles are gender locked, but overall its great. However i wouldve went with an RGB slider for EVERY color option, rather than preset colors.

The game loses a point for its terrible UI and color scheme that you cant seem to adjust the red and yellow everywhere is off putting, i know its symbolic to cyberpunks universe but it strains the eyes, and for locked key bindings that you cant adjust, not having the option to remap the inventory or walk on pc is just insane, probably an oversight though. Finally, It loses points for the bugs and glitches that haven't been ironed out, even with the day one patch.

Overall, this game is so far, is absolutely worth buying and playing in my opinion. If you liked Witcher 3, Fallout, Deus Ex and games of that nature. You will Enjoy it. The gunplay is actually pretty good for an fps rpg, but this game is no Shooter, you will have the disconnect the division has if you expect COD, Rainbow six, ghost recon style gunplay. Headshots dont equal death, there are dice rolls in play and the game is very much an rpg first, shooter second. think Fallout 4 not Battlefield.

PS - I play on pc with an enthusiast level PC. I can run the game on max graphics -rtx set to psycho. Whatever graphical issues and fps issues you may have i am not ignoring, i simply cannot relate to it as i have not experienced it.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I got this game on GoG and I'm running it on an RTX 3090, 64GB ram suffice to say I have not being hard hit by mayor bugs. IT sucks this has been an awful experience for those in current gen consoles.

I'm giving it a 90 because for what it was worth, the game is an amazing experience indeed, very well written side qeust and it seems you don't run out of things to do in Night City. It's all very entertaining

There is a thing or two CDPR could learn from other open world developers like RockStar, who have had plenty of chances to iterate their own environments. Specially when it comes to NCP enemy AI. As Geralt of Rivia, very few people were expected to piss off the guards while you run away from them so it never felt weird to have them spawning behind you while you run away to a distance safe enough for them to chill. NCPD should behave differently. a cool Idea would be to have fixed PD's to function as spawn points across the map when you get a bounty, have drones tracking you down NCPD knowing your location trough street CCTV's systems. Giving you the ability to run away to a safehouse, run out of the district or hacking specific terminals so you can make them go blind on you long enough for them to lose you, just an Idea.

IT seems every quest was designed brilliantly, but the off quest states sometimes can be immersion breaking. There is one main job where you have to attend this huge parade, then run away from Arasaka and NCPD. At first the place was crowed, filled with people. As soon as you exit the building the streets are deserted This could have been easily adverted by having V running to a safehouse to hide until it was safe to be out while the normal map resources load.

For what it was worth this was a huge project to be done from scratch and it shows. Other than that my experience has been amazing and I hope CDPR is able to come around and make it so more people could have the same amazing experience as I had.

Suffice to say, it is very likely their own commitments to shareholders, preorders etcetera is what forced them to keep PS4 and XBOX one versions as POR. Technically the wisest decision should have been cancelling them and making the game next gen only. Due to the unfortunate release window amidst the transition of console generations that would have meant a million or so potential copies unsold. I'm certain technical leads in the company gave that logical solution a thought, so they could focus their efforts in the next gen consoles but that would have enraged shareholders so they were very much in a chokehold. So I do understand their grievances.

Game is amazing, completely different experience than most of the AAA games release within last couple of years. Once it will be patched and fixed on consoles, I expect that it may become a game of decade.

Having said that, in my experience this game, in my 15h experience, is flawless. Well optimized, beautiful, has excellent stoty and characters, amazing combat and great concepts implemented with help from Cyberpunk PnmP RPG creators. I'm an old guy, I'm 35 years old and I have played the original PnP, so I was happy to hear CDPR would bring the game to life. The result is a game that in my opinion, will live in Olympus of the RPG genre, along with the likes of BG1/2//ToB/3, Mass Effect 1-2, the NWN and KoTor Bioware games, PF:K (after the big patches) and m y favourite JRPGs, like a couple of FF, Persona and Fire Emblem games. 2020 is a year for RPG lovers. Cheers!

PS. I don't care if the PS4 can't run well this game, it's not a 2013 game. It's not a PS43 review either, so pissed people should make their red reviews ONLY on PS4.

Still not a 10 cause of all the bugs, gunplay, (too much loot lol), driving and NPC behavior, latter did Rockstar much better. But, it's a new IP, it's a cyberpunk setting. I think people are being too hard on CDPR and expecting too much for the masterpiece they have created. It takes endless hours over years to produce a game of this calibre and there will be bugs but they will also be patched. This has been true with every game in the history of video games. As games get larger and more complex and intricate and offer more, so do you expect the depth of bugs and issues. Accept this, have patience. Or move on. For 80 dollars Canadian. I would like to mention that Witcher 3 on premiere was unplayable on base PS4, FPS were dropping to ~7-8 when you used igni in dungeons or inside buildings. Overall, after spending more than 300h in Night City i can say without a doubt - This is one of the best games ever made, sure its not finished but after all patches and fixes it will be best game ever made:) Expand

A great game, they did a mistake to release a console version too quickly, but the pc version is perfect, really nice main quest, the city is really alive, you have a lot of things to do, you have many choices and consequences.

Gameplay is nice, not the best, and certainly not the bad i saw. I highly recommand this game.

I haven't done a game review for ages, but for CP2077 I'm compelled to.

I get the feeling that someone's experience with CP2077 is dependent on the hardware they're using to run the game. What sets CP2077 apart from every other game like it, is the attention to detail. From facial expressions and body language, voice acting and story, everything is so immersive and carefully crafted.

While people on consoles and those using less than ideal hardware on PC are not having a great experience due to technical issues, I can confidently say CP2077 is one of the best games I've played in the 3+ decades of gaming I've done. It's a perfect blend of Deus Ex, GTA, Watch Dogs and maybe a little borderlands tossed in as well.

Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely a spectacular experience for me, but sadly, it appears that this game should have spent another few months in development.

Night City is beautiful, and in my short gaming history, I can't think of other locations with this much detail. The moment the game lets you walk around by yourself, you're getting instantly bombarded with the colors and neons of this corporate dystopian megalopolis. CD Projekt put an insane amount of love into this game, but it's quickly shown that it was beyond their skills.

Cyberpunk 2077 has the issue of working fine, as long as you do stuff as you were supposed to do. Step outside of this comfy little realm of half-scripted animations and interactions, and you will find glitchy particles, models staying in the air, getting stuck to character's hand despite he already put them away, and your teammates saying two stuff at once, because first they say AI-scripted "Grenade!" and at the same time, the script tells them to say something related to the quest or checkpoint.

But it's not just the bugs, CD Projekt should have spent another few months on optimalization itself. I'm rocking a rather 'weird' combination of parts, as I have Ryzen 5 3600, which is apparently a recommended CPU for even things like Raytracing or High settings, while also having an RX580 as my graphics card, which forces me to turn down some graphic settings. To truly enjoy Night City's vibrant neon flashes, you'll have to bump up these settings, especially light and reflections - trust me, your eyes will feel amazing.

But why such a high score? I expected a game more similar to Dying Light, fun, but outside of the main quest, there are just simple things to do. Cyberpunk 2077 shows that CD Projekt had lots of ambition, delivered us exactly that by giving us lots of actual side quests that are almost the same quality as the main story, if not better in few cases. I was genuinely surprised by the amount of detail given to this game, but it's still sad that the moment you try to think of something the developers did not intend to, you're going to crush against the hard glass floor of 'not enough developement time'.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is buggy yes, but not unplayable - just infuriating at times. More importantly the core game is not broken -> things that really matter: Story, Visuals, Characters / NPCs, Voice acting, etc are all top notch. I think the bugs can be fixed in a month or two, once they release a couple of patches

Have played for 8 hours so far - yes I had to reload saves a couple of times, had to google to find how to get around bugs a couple of times. But have also jumped off a sky scraper, been backstabbed and shot in the head, got to be friends with an NPC - close enough to really feel sad when he died, did a mission impossible style heist .. and oh ya set off a nuke / have keanu reeves trying to take over my brain.

This is an amazing game - takes some time to get used to the systems, but is fun and has an engaging story. If the bugs bother you, just wait for 2-3 months until a couple of patches are released.

I was going to knock off a couple of points for the bugs, but decided to just reduce one to compensate for all the 0 ratings that people have been giving.

To město prostě žije.

V tom případě jsi nudný i ty!

Yes, the scope and size of the city is amazing but you have to wonder if that wasn't too big of a chunk for CD project.

The interface is a the real problem in the game. It's way too complex, not very intuitive and has a long learning curve. It feels like little chunks who were fused together without any real global vision. Riding bikes are way more fun then cars, because the cars feels like riding bikes. The fast travel is a real time saver but it's also fun to ride and discover the city. There is a lot of loots. You can modify and upgrades weapons, armours. You can craft just about anything but it's easier to upgrade then crafting from nothing. The level system is well done but the interface cut the pleasure of it.

The music is the very best. The in car tunes or main soundtrack are great. The presence of Keanu is a good touch. The voices and sounds fits perfectly. However, a lot of NPC have generic one liners. You can talk to everybody but it's a useless option. The combat is fps style and do offer stealth. It works well enough and each weapons has some limitations of their own. I completed the game with all the yellow icons in 62 hours. The ending was good and was kind of open. I give the game 78%. I know the game isn't perfect but I had fun exploring that city.

Now the game does feel smooth even with the fps dips which I would attribute mostly to G-sync doing one heck of a job.

the combat starts really slow and clunky, but gets much better as you level up your skills and get new cyberwares.

The story and quest design are also top notch. Map is insanely big, way bigger than I thought it would be given the level of detail in the buildings and streets (we're talking ac Odyssey big but with more to do in 1 out of the 6 districts than all of odyssey).

However, Big disclaimer, I recommend waiting a few months if you have a ps4, Xbox one (base and S) or even a low-mid range pc (tons of benchmarks for each graphic card online already).
Keep in mind that the game will have a long lifetime with tons of free DLC and paid expansions in the next 1-2 years, in addition to a multiplayer game in 2+ years.

Now if you don't mind playing on low settings with fps ranging between 30-50 on low-mid range pc and worse than that on base consoles (dynamic resolution between 720p-900p with 30 fps dipping as low as 15 frequently and textures not loading fast enough which I would attribute to a combination of slow CPU, low ram which the GPU uses and no SSD), then I would go ahead and buy it.

Keep in mind that the game has insane replay value, so if you are planning on upgrading your pc in the foreseeable future or getting a ps5 or series x/s, you can play a NG+ then or even start a new playthrough.

Overall I think this is a masterpiece which will sadly be trashed by how unpolished it was on launch. But will get better as the Witcher 3 did over its launch period.

Overpriced graphics settings and sound problems.

Yes, I can play Nintendo with peace of mind and feel comfortable. The graphics are not what I expected from this project, but they are definitely great here.
For 30 hours of playing, I have not had a SINGLE departure from the game.
(possibly due to the fact that I updated my graphics card drivers to the latest version)

The plot here explodes the brain so much that I PERSONALLY, closing my eyes to all the bugs, play on. I'm interested in history, the world, its elaboration, and not looking at textures.
Yes, you can say it has a very strong effect on immersion.
But I'll tell you in response, name me at least one game, without bugs, but with the same immersion.

After 30 hours, I was satisfied with the game, even as it was in patch 1.03.
I'm sure the developers will fix a bunch of problems related to the game in the near future, but even now it doesn't feel terrible.

I waited a long time and waited for the game to be released. And finally I played it. She's definitely worth the money.

    - Soundtrack a dir poco strepitosa.

    Contro:
    - Combattimento melee abbastanza raffazzonato, specialmente quello a mani nude.

You don't get many games like that every year: the gameplay is a combination of GTA (urban open world, driving), Witcher (RPG), Far Cry (shooting), Deux Ex (stealth).

The scenery is gorgeous. This is a very colorful, very futuristic game. A pessimistic setup of a decadent civilization. UI and music join the photograph to offer a really nice immersion. I can't really rate the story, being at the beginning of it, but so far it has been a pleasant mix of big corp, conspiracy theories, secret technology, … You start the game with one of 3 social backgrounds. So I assume the game has some variety when it comes to the stories.

With 20 hours of game, I have unlocked 6% of achievements. There are times when I ride the story, there are times when I take my time, no rush, to walk or drive in the city and try to improve my skills and my character by looting and arresting bad people (bounty hunter kind of jobs). The map shows you a bunch of jobs, with diverse levels of difficulties. This is fun and rewarding. From time to time, you encounter a more difficult opponent and you know you need to go back to your previous district and get better. This is a summary to tell you how easy it is to enter the game, the rest is up to you to master it and deep dive into complexity.

Technically, games of that generation are reaching a level of movie-like quality. Ray tracing is adding an extra layer of aesthetics and immersion, like the bright light when exiting a dark building or tunnel. Cyberpunk is going to be a benchmark for a few years to come.

All in all, this is a unique game, a rare cyberpunk set, a fun mix of open world, shooting and character building. It's the type a game that you start for a quick 30-min play and you end up spending 2 or 3 hours. I tend to believe disappointed people are the ones with too high expectations due to the intense media coverage. Without it, I believe most would have praised the game. If you enjoy the combination of gameplays I mention in my first paragraph and are interested in sci-fi, Night City awaits you.

Just top, if you don't need to provide optimization and bugs that will be fixed over time. Working out the plot, sidekicks, content presentation, graphics (especially with rtx), music - everything is just awesome! To put the game a strong 6 out of 10 only for Johnny Silverhand, and if you add all of the above, then all 8 out of 10.

I don't want to base my score on the technical problems, yes there are bugs, but most are just glitches. They are going to fix them, it will take some time, but they'll fix it.

I had to reload a few times due to bugs, like a part of a quest not progressing, but that's really nothing new for an open world RPG. More than 12 hours and I haven't got a single crash - not one. So, I give my score assuming all the quest bugs are fixed. There are so many people giving low score looking only at bugs and I think this is not the most important part of the game.

The PC version running on almost maximum setting on GTX1080ti with quite constant 50-60 fps and I don't see anything that is not top notch with graphics.

The visuals are perfect, the level of detail is incredible, story so far is good, quests are very interesting, RPG elements are well done, shooting is more than good, driving is good, the sounds are perfect. I don't really see any weak points in the most important areas.

Of course there are some points that can be made about the quite confusing red map, the lack of shortcuts for some important actions like for example holstering your weapon (you have to do it from the circular menu), looting gives hard to see information on what has been looted. Also inventory needs some visual hints on weapon/armor strength and special effects so you don't need to check each one individually. Those are minor points though.
Finally, just give it a bit of time, try to ignore the bugs and it will give you tens if not hundreds of hours of high quality entertainment.

Been playing since it’s release, amazing graphics, sound track and immersion settings. So easy to lose track of time. This is everything I wanted in a cyberpunk game since I was a kid playing the pencil and paper version. Home run gang!

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
