    I'm loving this game, it was worth every day of waiting, immersive storyline, lots to do in the city, lots of places to visit, insane customization, and many more things that would waste hours talking about.

    This is the worst game I have ever played, this company has stolen us all, it does not deserve any mercy, much less recognition, they have made fun of the entire community of console players. The optimization is disappointing, its graphical instability declining. this company should be sued for hoax and scam..

    CDPR had huge plans for this game, but clearly not enough time. Things that were promised are not in the game. Sad that now they cant be added cause its released, sure they can fix optimization and bugs but anything else probably wont be added. I played on pc with a mid-range pc, gtx 1060 6gb, i7-7700k and 16gb ram. The performance was, bad to say the least. The best fps I got was 65 onCDPR had huge plans for this game, but clearly not enough time. Things that were promised are not in the game. Optimization and bug fixing could for sure make this game an 8/10 for me, even with 30 fps it drew me into the story. There are some things missing sure, but if they get fixed, im sure this game will be great. But in its current state? Just delay it for yourself for 4-5 more months.… Expand

    I purchased a Ultra 3090 to run with my I-7 for this game. At first the game was fun, but less then 3 minutes in there was 3 bugs. At first the bugs were small and annoying, then on the 3rd mission, I fell through the map... I restarted and fell through again. If I went back to a load from before I could see through walls. And all yiu can do is drive around? We were promised vertical play but there is no ships? No planes? No helicopters? We are cut off, that with the hugs deserves a bad rating.     I feel like a QA tester playing this game. I'm playing on PC with above recommended specifications and it runs like a unity project made by a small studio, I feel robbed.

    Jogo todo Bugado e mal otimizado, prometeram tanto pra entregar isso. O jogo fecha toda hora, o boneco entra na parede e não sai, já passei mais tempo reiniciando o jogo do que jogando ele de fato.

    On the PC If the game launched Unbroken. It would be a 10 out of 10. But it is very broken right now. The game crashes on me constantly even after the patches. I get floating items weapons vehicles and people all the time. When my character goes in the club nobody moves and their voices are all the same. I have had people walk down the street in a t pose. On a fairly regular basis I can't choose what to say during a conversation. Only way to fix this is reset the game. When I pick up a body and move it to a new spot. When I try to drop the body my character decides to throw the body across the room. About 50% of the time I character has hair. Sometimes I can pick up an item sometimes I cannot. I played all the Witcher games on the PC and on the consoles and never once did I ever put the game down in frustration from Bugs. I don't remember having any game breaking bugs at all on The Witcher 3. But as of right now I'm thinking about just putting the game down and up trying to play it until they fix this game. I blame the upper management for forcing out a game that was not finished. Just so they can get their bonuses. When I heard they're pushing the game back I was very happy. Because I thought they were doing it to polish up the game. If this is their idea of polishing, it must have been a biger piece of crap before they push this game back. In a few months if they fix the game I'll gladly change my score to a 10 out of 10. Because minus the bugs everything has been amazing.… Expand

    Instead we get EA levels of deception, grabbing cash and not even apologising for the state of the base consoles because they know PS and xbox wouldn't be able to prevent refunds once they admit it should have never been released on these systems.

    I don't see any redemption for CDPR, even if they give free content etc. They took every precaution, in the form of blocking reviews and not showing accurate footage of the base consoles so they could grab as much cash off over hyped fans. I'm glad to see their greed has back fired because most people are still on previous gen consoles and if you are going to scam millions out of their hard earned cash during a pandemic I cant say they don't deserve every financial and reputational damage coming to them.    … Expand

    Even if they delayed this game until 2077, CDPR still wouldn't have been able to make a fun, functioning game. This is a AA game at best. What a shame. This entire game was made for marketing purposes. We all got played but I knew it was likely to be garbage just like most overhyped games.

I don't care how much pressure was placed on there shoulders this is unacceptable. NPC faces and bodies are blurred, pop in occurs, and within the first five minutes I had to reload (which took forever) just to keepI created an account just to let you know that this is a waste of money right now. It fails at creating a real-world feeling, the AI is historically awful. The gameplay has great element but no lasting potential. I'm 20 hours in and I am asking for a refund. Probably won't work but I am ok with that. They have overhyped the **** outOver-promised, under-delivered. There are good stuff in this game.     This game is very bad/mediocre game with tons of bugs nothing like the dev promise. All it has is graphics and music, the entire world is a hollow shell with dead npcs, no interactions with arcades/stalls/casinos, no character/car customization, horrible police/traffic AI. The story is subpar and boring af. Save your money do not buy this garbage.

    How dare CDPR release this nightmarishly bad "game." It's shameful, disingenuous, and downright disrespectful to consumers. How dare critics give this game "universal acclaim".

    If a game like this was released from E.A. or Ubisoft, the backlash would be powerful and swift. CDPR is preying on their fanbase's loyalty to secure the funding actually needed to produce a game.

    They sold a product with almost no features which were advertised. The fanbase is currently coping with this by hoping content will be added in through DLC, both free AND PAID.

    Business practices like this should be illegal. False advertising is serious, and people spend hard-earned money on these products.

It takes around 10-20 seconds to render any texture within the game. The game crashes randomly when you are ealking around. The graphics are so bad that they hurt my eyes. Graphically it looks good only on PC with maxed out settings and RT, and there you cannot say it looks drastically better than something like Horizon ZD or SW Jedi: FO. But those games are optimized, unlike CP2077 and look and run good on normal hardware.     And then we get to the systems that are totally broken. Crafting is utterly useless, by the time you can craft something it's no longer useful because you keep getting better drops every 2 minutes. Economy is totally unbalanced, you don't have enough money to buy almost anything. The whole equipment system is ridiculous, it would have been better if is didn't exist. The equipment is marginally useful and you always look like a hobo - there are no armor sets and no possibility to transmogrify gear. The leveling / perk system is utterly unremarkable and mostly the levels and perks have little to no impact on how you play the game. And the worst thing is the whole AI system - the pedestrians, cops etc. are on an AI level of a game made in 1997. I literally went and googled "Carmageddon" which is a game made in 1997 and the similarity in pedestrian behavior is jarring.

    On top of all that, I bought the game on my PS5 and it's a blurry mess compared to a high end PC.

    I'm so disappointed by this game that I went and made the Metacritic account just to post this review. How they went from something like Witcher 3 to CP2077 is beyond me.

    If they continue working on this game, revamp all the broken systems and optimize the hell out of it, this might turn out to be a good game, in about 6 - 12 months. But as it is now, this is not worth my money and I regret buying it.    … Expand

In my 10 hours of gameplay the game crashed 7 or 8 times and at the end i even encountered a main quest breaking bug that would not let me progress by any means.i dont know who quality controlled this game but they did an absolut trash job in doing so.First off, i'm very tolerant when it comes to bugs. But in my 25 years as a gamer and collector i have never encountered such a bug-fest.     Worst AI in any game over ever seen. People wander around and only react to cower. Cops spawn 3 feet behind. Cops can't even chase in cars because there is no driving AI. No driving AI at all, cars are literally on railroad tracks and can't move out of the way of small obstacles and stay parked forever.

    The game is fine but the fact that the update made it literally unplayable makes this a bad game undeserving of a score at all. The game that was pushed by the stockholders to make it to shelves by holiday in exchange for a good game. This is not on shareholders but the execs at CDproject red that bent the knee.

    Well my respect and future buying pattern of anything this studio will deliver has gone to shreds. This game is far from over and just makes me wonder what they did in the 7 years of development?

    The story is riveting and great but everything surrounding it is trite to say the least. I really wanted to hack my way through night city but that is so difficult at least in the beginning. I love witcher 3 very much and it feels like they betrayed their fans and people who believe in them. Save your money at least for now and get it when you have a next gen machine.     Not that great of a game. I completed the main storyline within 20 hours of gameplay which I feel is quite weak. Very buggy and to make it even better the storyline jumps back and forth, especially once finished. Wouldn't really recommend it. On my RTX 2070, it runs okay but everything renders in front of your eyes. if it's far away it won't render and looks horrid. NPC's are absolutelyNot that great of a game.     First time CD Project does something like this but that is no excuse, unplayable on PS4 and XboxOne. Lied with the recommended settings for PC (I should be able to play at high settings and can't even get constant 40's on medium) I'm 100% it will get better in the next months but as for right now, not acceptable.

    I play in a Ryzen 5 1600, 16 RAM, RTX 2060, 650W power supply, Asus b450m... all drivers updated, and I can't play it in 60 fps with the graphics on LOW.

    When I tryed to turn on the ray tracing, I was playing with 25 fps... that's optimized as **** I played games like Control, Assassins Creed Odyssey, Red Dead, Far Cry 5, with the graphics on ultra with 60 fps, and no problems!!!     Конечно, если сидеть на 3090 может быть у тебя все ок, если говорить об оптимизации, но таких как ты меньше 1% всех геймеров, так как видяха да и вообще 30хх серия дико оверпрайснутая. Ну да ладно.
    Я не знаю что нужно иметь вместо головы и глаз, что бы сказать что игра готова к релизу. Видимо мне просто не заплатили CDPR, по этому я не выкупаю.

    Очень печалит, что в наше время все обзорщики пытаются лизать издателям, что бы постоянно получать какие то ништяки, например, игру раньше всех или деньги за положительный обзор.
    И далеко не многие осмеливаются рассказать о том, какая игра на самом деле.

    А на самом деле она не готова абсолютно. К разработчикам 0 вопросов они молодцы. А вот руководство... Просто кинули всех на деньги.
    Игру бы еще делать пол года-год.

    И отдельный респект уже РАЗРАБОТЧИКАМ за патч 1.04 которые превратил графику в игре в помойку, благодаря принудительно выкрученной резкости на 100%.

It's a massive cityscape, riddled with copy and paste 3 types of activity - Kill group of gangers (3-5 guys) Kill den of gangers (5-10 guys + mini boss), "side" quest (takes 1-4 minutes depending if you're attempting stealth or not.

    I did play entire game on hardest difficulty ever since the begging - there's just no joy to be had here. Only suffering of things that we all expected, but never got. The gold age of CDPR is over.    … Expand

    Bagged piece of **** I have 2 fps with 2070. I have payed money but I can not just play. I had a lot of bags but i could still play and after 5 hours of playing cyberpunk 2077 I have 2 fps. And it is lasts for 2 days so I just cant play.

    Life path does not matter.

    The montage should not exist, but rather we need actual gameplay of everything that happens in the montage.

    The 1.04 patch enforces the same memory and GPU setting for all platform irrespective of their actual hardware specs (as seen in a config file), thereby not using all of the CPU and GPU.

    Nudity is just a checkbox and does not really exist other than the inventory screen.

NPCs. This is a single player game, so NPCs are crucial to the experience. When exploring the world, you're allowed to talk to any NPC, but the responses are so canned, it ruins it. Walk up to any NPC and the responses are things like: "Yes? Hi. What, you wanna new friend? Hola. Yeah? Whats up in the big world. Watch it, you'll swallow a fly." Who talks like that? There is absolutely no immersion when dealing with NPCs. Everyone seems to be so negative and hateful in game. Add some unique and dynamic conversations with random NPCs.

    On top of that, there's like 10 different pedestrians on the street. The re-use of assets is terrible and I keep wondering why I'm seeing the same NPC I just saw 15 seconds ago after I walk a half a block away the other way from them. There is nothing dynamic or unique about NPCs in this game, unless it's part of the main story.

    I'm really missing how dynamic, alive, and unique NPCs were in RDR2. They set a high bar, and CDPR has fallen far underneath it.

    The repeating "Hello?".... "Gunna be long?" and other 'waiting' dialog from Jackie during mission choices is really annoying. These are moments where I need to take care of things and could use a quick break, it gets kinda annoying. This is one of the more annoying aspects so far.

    I very much wish I could play Roach Race on the arcades in No Tell Motel.

    I don't like the radio station selection menu. I'd like to just be able to browse through selections on the go without having to stop to pick a station.    … Expand

Возможно обновления повлияют на это и добавят больше часов сюжета, но впечатления просто отвратительные . Ждать 8 лет и получить игру на 2-3 дня и не прикипеть к персонажам в принципе. Ожидал от вас большего , реальной революции не только в визуальном плане, но и в плане истриии. Ну , Ведьмака же не прошли до конца,,, . Да и наплевать, что кто-то не прошёл.     (-) Bad (or lack of) Physics in driving, NPC interactions, object interactions, collision.
    (-) Bad (or lack of) AI in NPCs in combat, NPCs driving, walking etc.
    (-) Terrible draw distance of lights, shadows, cars. Cars, lights popping up or disappearing while you are driving even tough other big bot less complex objects like big buildings are visible in distance. There are fake car/traffic lights drawn in far distance which disappears as you drive in front of you. Plain silly illusions that is not working at all. Takes away so much from the experience even with a strong PC.

    In 2020, good graphics does not mean shader quality, reflections, RTX etc. A screenshot of the "Afterlife" bar with a RTX 3090 might look neat but when you start interacting with that scene you would see it is lacking in terms of NPC animations, interactions etc. Do a quick comparison with the recent GTA V expansion "Music Locker" bar: less neat reflections but more refined animations, music, presentation, interactions and overall much more engaging and immersive experience.    … Expand

    The only things that keep me playing are the characters and setting. This makes it fine, but when you go from an awesomely developed game such as the Witcher 3 to this, it just seems like such as a lackluster cash grab.     The only things that keep me playing are the characters and setting. This makes it fine, but when you go from an awesomely developed game such as the Witcher 3 to this, it just seems like such as a lackluster cash grab.

How you could interact with the people of Night City in interesting ways thanks to an new crowd and city system. The false sense of choice in this game is what I'd expect out of something Telltale would put out with the life paths being a solid 15 minutes each. Not even mentioning the other "decisions." Heck, I even re-loaded to check almost all of the dialogue options, and the NPCs sometimes repeat the same reply to what I had my V say the first time.

    I'm playing the PC version of the game and it is still buggy. I have to save every ten minutes because I'm scared of the crashing, being stuck, or constant enemy health bar/ item on my screen. Can't even imagine what it's like for anyone on current or last-gen consoles. Why'd you have to lie when people actually trusted you to make a finished game? Now you're just like the another developer and/or publisher. Making the people that spent money test your game, waiting for updates. Didn't even pre-order this ****.    … Expand

    This game is terrible. I created a metacritic account solely to write this review. Bugs aside, the gameplay is trash. The AI is trash. There are so many characters that have 10 or 20 minutes or more of dialogue, some of it unskippable, and there is 0 reason to care about those characters. The actual controls are trash. The inventory management is a massive pain in ars.

    CDPR swindled players out of exaggeration and false advertising. Not only the ridiculous bugs and the empty open world, but also the three starting points are empty. They have deceived people through various media outlets, releasing results that overshadowed eight years of time and 350 billion won in production costs.

    Nothing much to say, it just really sucks and dissappoints all arround. Gunplay sucks, story dissapoints, setting is weak. Generic boring game that plays like its from 2007. Sucks to be cd project red rn, flopped game. Rip

    Honestly take away the bugs and glitches. The game is boring... It is one of the worst open world games I have ever played.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. its hard for people to admit they've wasted their money sometimes, not for me though, the game was first teased 8 years ago, they've had more than enough time to get it done especially after delaying it for so long, releasing brand new advertisements inbetween each delay, their focus was never on gameplay, they're just another greedy company that saw an opportunity to sell lots of preorders under the idea this game would do something, ANYTHING special or different. But alas, it has not, the combat system is stiffer and less enjoyable than early releases of COD, driving is like driving on the moon and is less reliable than say GTAIII from over 10 years ago, the stealth system is worse than bugged out, it plain and simple doesnt work, imagine a game that holds stealth highly in gameplay, not being able to incorporate the environment into takedowns, if someone has their back to a chair, you can not touch them because takedowns only work from dead centre, point blank, where if you're lucky, the pathetic excuse at pathing will have put the enemy staring at nothing but a wall inches from his face, cause thats what everyone does yeah? Best part is, im not even talking about the countless gamebreaking hour wasting bugs, I'm talking about base mechanics, they're a minimum of 10 years outdated, worst game of the century 1/10 just for the decent story line and on par voice acting.

    Night City has no substance. This game shouldn't even be considered an RPG. It should have never been advertised as an RPG. Night City is a flashy backdrop to a good story line. And for the people saying "we were never promised" anything, what's wrong with expecting a good RPG? CDPR 100%    BUGS ASIDE. Because I understand that they will be patched and CDPR knows the game is buggy.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
