    This is the best game ever. It has everthing you want from an FPS and more the only lacking thing is graphics which you dont care about because its too fun. I have played this game nearly everyday for 5 years!

    CS is the best game I've ever played. Offcourse the graphic iis not that good, but the lifetime of the game, OMG you will never get tired of playing CS! The whole consept about playing against each other in teams and try to win, is used in every game and sport. CS is a sport. But offcourse, I suggest you got something other more active to do, if not, people will get fat and ugly! I CS is the best game I've ever played. But offcourse, I suggest you got something other more active to do, if not, people will get fat and ugly! I like to use skins in CS, thats another plus, (its simple to install skins btw!), you get known to other people, you are maybe good at playing CS insteed of football and last, CS is what every gamer looks for! The only bad thing is the graphic, its not that bad, but could be better. I suggest that valve and steam makes CS on a higher level at that point, but make it like those who don't have a PC that is capable to run high graphic, also can play CS at a lower grapich. After all, the graphic is'nt that important, its the gameplay! AND THE GAMEPLAY RULES!… Expand

    Been playing this game for 4 years now, and I haven't found a game to be as addicting as this one. Great game all around. And with all the numerous mods for counter-strike, theres something in it for everyone.

    A brilliant game. Most enjoyable game around, 6 YEARS after its release. Beats the like of Battlefield 2, and other leading online games HANDS DOWN.

    I´m a brazilian player of this game, and in my opnion it´s awesome. Of course, like any other game, it has some issues to be corrected. One of the things I don´t like about the game is that it´s so easy to a player that never played before (Newbies) shoot headshots at anyone. The other thing is about Sniper (AWP) - It´s a lot unreal to use a sniper rifle I´m a brazilian player of this game, and in my opnion it´s awesome. Of course, like any other game, it has some issues to be corrected. One of the things I don´t like about the game is that it´s so easy to a player that never played before (Newbies) shoot headshots at anyone. The other thing is about Sniper (AWP) - It´s a lot unreal to use a sniper rifle jumping or running, and kill someone with one single shot. In my opnion, sniper could only be used at a stand by position, and don´t take all health points (HP) away (unless if it hits the head). (Sorry about strange writting, like I said, I´m brazilian).     This is the best FPS of all time; ive had it for 3 years and played nearly every day since, still hasn't grown old, Counter Strike is a 'must have' game.

    I've been playing Source and 1.6 for 3 years and they're both amazingly fun and addictive. Not nearly as many people cheat as some people make it out to be and with a wide array of balanced weaponry, even noobs can find something enjoyable in it.

    I've been playing this game for 5 years along with thousands, maybe even millions of other people. It's the only game where people make true friends in real life because of the Lan Tournaments. Greatest game to date.

    Regardless of what anyone says, this is the best game ever. Most gamers care about action and gameplay rather than graphics. This is an original and the best game that is team oriented.

    Everyone who votes it low does so for the same reason - "too many cheaters." The fact of the matter is, there aren't that many cheaters. People just cry because the game has been out for about 7 years now, and they don't like the idea of joining a server and getting rolled by people who have been playing the game competitively for that long. I bet if you took a bunch of new players and threw them into Quake 3 now, they would get destroyed by the players that have been playing for years, and then say everyone cheats.… Expand

    This is truly a great game. Way better than the others Black hawk down,delta force, delta force-xtrem etc...but how ever there still needs to be a few things fixed like Calvin said, the players hold left handed guns in wrong hand, and same with right...and how u can defuse thew boxes, or even walls... but other than that the game rocks!

    I love this game. Whatever you say about it, it's much better than source or other egoshooters. It's more difficult to learn it than to learn the no recoil source. In my opinion, the best game ever.

    bugs need to be fixed but i love paintball mods servers (very rare) the mods cant be beat but i still like halo2 mods more on xbox live plus its full of action

    Game of the world of any time in FPS! You never get bored, might find online friends or comrades, soldiers fight next to you! I play it for more than 6 years since 1.5 and I return to it after month of waiting too!

    well this game... is really fun playing with your friends and so.. but still.. almost all games gets really fun when playing with friends so i give this an eight... still its giving me hours of entertainment but its not the game really that does that.. its the playing with friends thing...

    The game is a classic and after many years of gaming I felt it was time I gave it the rating it deserves. No other first person shooter for me has the same team gameplay, and its fast & exciting.

    I started playing this game 04 and have been hooked since. Countless weekends spent playing this game for hours on end only stopping to eat, drink, and .... I almost said sleep. One of the few games I've ever played where you can have fun with people without the need for the competitive aspect of the game. Until time stops, CS will continue to be the best online shooter ever.

It reaches the lvl of personal performance that football/soccer offers. Even tho it's old, the graphics still gives the absolute best picture of enviorement.     Quite simply, the best online experience ever. Quick to dip in and out of, or play for hours on end. The team based formula strays from the endless respawning and fragging of deathmatch style online games, meaning you need to use your wits and co operate with your team-mates to become victorious. Fantastic game.

    Classic game and #1 multi player game in the world ahead of source in everything except graphics fun for beginners in the public servers but the real fun begins when one becomes good enough to join a team and begin playing competitively and join online leagues such as CAL and CEVO Easily the best competitive game ever.

    This game is absolutely phenomenal the diversity within it in fact since the past year I played I've created 6 maps 8 running servers 2 clans thousands of websites and forums met many people created gun models and now its brought me into ut04 and soon to be ut/3 map making/modeling.     Counter-Strike is a fast-pace, intensive action game. You can play it for hours without notice that you have been sitting there for like 5 hours. It´s wonderful.

    Excellent game, easy to pick up, and short learning curve time. Although team based in nature, one may generally feel that they are on their own when advancing the opponents.

    I am in my fifties and bought this for the exercise fun of the wii. If this is fun then we grown a generation of people with retarded development. Unbelievably boring, too many words. Big waste of money for the boomers who are looking to use their wiis and have a bit of sport. Smooth moves and wii sports are better. The 45 minute opening intro is absurd. Trash material.     I like this game and it's fun to play. But... It has some minor faults. Glitching and hacking is easy to come by because some people have no life and dedicate their wasted lives to finding ways to do that. Besides that though, I enjoy letting off some steam and blasting off heads.

    I have been playing CS since the mod first came available. This game is one of several FPS games I have played over the years and the only one that I find I want to continue playing till the early hours of the morning. You can always find a good game with great players, without being disapointed. It's fast paced, high action, with very little interruption in game play, if any, due to lag.
