    Despite the occasional errors this game has, it is a great buy. I've been playing for 3 years and it is still as fun (probably more) as when I begun.

    Amazing game. Great gameplay, and the visuals were not shabby for a 2004 PC release. I highly recommend this to all gamers, and if you purchase it, zombiemod is the best mod out there!

    This game is perfect to play and enjoy. its realistic/ fun as hell. I don't know why tf2 got a better score i have the game and i only play it when I'm extremely bored. so ya.

    This is a wonderful update to the classic Counter Strike 1.6. The graphics are incredible and the game play is quite fun. An advantage to this game, is the number of different servers, modifications and custom maps that are currently inplace alongside this game. This provides incredibly random and exciting game play for both new and veteran FPS gamers.

    Best PC action game ever. there are so many choices when it comes to servers. Theres custom skins and many other admin options. Theres zombie mod, gun game, surf, rpg mods, wcs, and many other custom made game types. by far one of my favorites no matter how long I've had it

    I love this game. It is, without a doubt, one, if not the best First Person Shooter (FPS) that I have ever played. Even though I came to the game for a "Tactical" shooter, and in no way is this game tactical per se, that doesn't even matter to me because of the addictive gameplay and un-noob friendly gameplay. Thus making me want to get better and better over time, right now I'm I love this game. It is, without a doubt, one, if not the best First Person Shooter (FPS) that I have ever played.     I think it is a super good game. I dont know any games, that can come up with the same graphics and so on, as Counter-Strike: Source. Really think it is the best game!

    This is one of my favorite online games. Actually I have no idea what people are talking about when they say this game is full of cheaters I've never played with a cheater in my entire life of playing CSS. And Campers? Rarely get in a game with campers.

    Honestly the best FPS ever, it relies solely on the skill of the player. Scrimmages are the best, they never get old and playing with a team I find to be much more rewarding. It also builds your skill set a lot quicker. Some other GREAT games are UT3 and CoD4 but they lack the raw power of a Scrimmage, CoD4 has scrimmages but they do not have a fan/population base for it on Gamesurge Honestly the best FPS ever, it relies solely on the skill of the player.     Awesome game, a lot of fun and easy to play... requires a great balance of skill, awareness and general reactions as well as incorporating massive amounts of enjoyment into the game itself.

    Some people say that gameplay is worst, just because their computers suck hard and they can only afford to play CS 1.6. Truth is most of those people never actually played CS:Source. CS:Source provides you better graphics, realistic physicis, more realistic movement, better Player-World scale, shadows, and weapons are still well balanced. Reason why Source requires a bit more skill its because in 1.6 when bullets hit the wall they look like some kind of small explosions.. and with that you can spray to the head with a lot more ease. Yes, CS 1.6 is still great, but Source is really much more worth playing IF you have a good computer and a decent internet connection. Tons of mods, amazing gameplay, a huge world wide community, basiclly, a completly awesome and addicting game. 10 out of 10 in FPS class.… Expand

    I think its a 7 because tbh its a really good game but it can have a lot more stuff added into it. This game would be perfect if it had some features like the ones in a game called warrock (im not saying all) but like the ability to prone and ability to lean so its harder to shoot someone sounds pretty cool.     I would have to say the best FPS ever. Valve has their shit down w/ games and this one is no different. I the only game I even think of going to other than this is TF2 which is also a Valve game. No one has anything on Valve in terms of a modding base, playablitly and staying power. hell people are still playing CS 1.6 which the mod for HL originally came out in 1994

    I love counterstrike source! It's even better than counter strike or condition zero! I feal like I am in the middle of the action with the stunning graphics and the amazing affects when you shoot computers and boxes! I even like the idea of getting to talk with your headsets when playing online!! Thanks

    It's an amazing multiplayer game , the maps are well detailed , and the controls are easy to use and learn , i recommend this to any person who enjoys playing First Person Shooters.

    Best game developed by Valve by far! ive been gaming for atleast 14 years now and this game takes the cake fro me its a fast paced multiplayed online game that requires you to use team work and rely on your teammates to help you out. over all this game ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

    Counter strike source really is a great game but it would be better if it came out for ps3 and xbox 360 the ratings would be higher and hell of alot more players would be interested in the game..But hey i love the game for the pc but the hackers an everything just gets old after awhile..

    I guess Il do my part, To begin, This is the game i spend my childhood on. One on the fines games and a great classic. I'm seing allot of people complaining but its obviously because they just plain suck at it and did not gave a chance to the game to try it and get better at it. That's what i did lol. Wtv. To conclude, my personal favorite game of all times.

    LOVE this game...you can sit down to play a few rounds for 20 minutes or dig in for twenty hours straight (your choice) without tiring of it. Absolutely addicting.

    This game is great for gamers who are ready for match after match of close in counter battles! Those who say it is too easy to kill and die are looking at it wrong, it makes it a bigger challenge to test your skills in first person shooters! And eventually you wont even notice the easy dieing because it is usally quik to start a new match and try again!

    I don't know why but this is about the only game I go back playing after I'm tired of another game. Its just awesome! only thing is.. the other people are waaaaaaaay better than I am. But thats not the games fault! Other than that, perfect ten!

    Once i started cs (about 4 years ago) i still can't stop playing it ,cs is my drug and i think i do not know what will happen if i don't play more than 3 days and about cs:source , well i think this is the gratest FPS made till now , i'd never get bored with cs:s thats something i'm sure of.

    Very nice, hours of replayability, at first I thought it was just a standard fps but its more compicated. Recoil control, learning how to shoot (yes the bullets don't always land in the middle of the crosshair). Well worth the cash and time.

    Cool game, nice gravity and the dying part is very realistic just like real life not fixed as in when you shoot the body, you won't kneel then die.

    I think it is a great game but i don't like it how you have to run steam to play it but i really like is that you don't need any discs like Warcraft or Age of Empires 2, great job Valve Corp.

    This is truly what a fps should be! So far I have not expereinced any other game that truly captures the realism of a true combat situation aside from first to fight which is also a very good fps but as for Counter Strike? The best no questions asked!

    id say its a 9/10 the new updates suck steam sucks they need to ditch um they bringing it down the dynamic pricing is the stupidest thing ive ever seen thank god u dont need to put it on server u can take off source is the most addicting game ive ever played counter strike has no problems just steam f*cks it up

    I have played cs 1.6 and the sparks looked like the game was meant for 7 or 8 year olds while css delivers to a wider range of age groups and gamers. I love this game more than anyother including F.E.A.R. and Half Life 2. If you are a hardcore gamer who likes strategy 1st person shooters you will love this too!!

    p.s. one major flaw i.e. AWP!!!!

    A must have game for anyone who enjoys an fps. No lan party would be complete without this game. It is, however, highly competitive and "noobs" have to practice a lot to keep up with the competition, and avoid awpers (such as myself) to survive...

    I have played over 500 hour of Counter Strike Source in the last 8 months which is about 4 times as much as I have played any other game. Probably the best online FPS shooter that is out today.

    Valve has done a sterling job of moving a flagship franchise over to a new engine. Whilst the gameplay guts come over correct and intact, (which may disappoint some), Counter-Strike: Source is an even more engrossing and captivating experience, capable of sapping hours of your time, and even the worst "1337 g33zers" abusing voice chat can't spoil the fun you'll have with it.

    Counter-Strike: Source is, once you've gained a knack for it, the most consistently rewarding and surprising team-based shoot-'em-up available on the PC today. It's been dressed up nicely for its relaunch in 2004, but it wasn't broken, and Valve hasn't fixed it.
