    The house of 8 year old kiddos, hackers that leads you to get anger issues, toxic teammates and lost its fun and enjoyment that it gave you 3-4 years ago. Thanks Valve.

    Объективно, игра очень даже не плоха даже для сегодняшнего дня как фпс-тактический шутер, как и у каждого фпс-шутера есть большой минус "Софтеры, читаки и.тд", наверное с этим стоит уже давно свыкнуться, ну так вот не об этом.

    This game is such a toxic piece of **** seriously. I just wanted to play an mm game since fpl was down and laggy and the **** game gives me a team full of silvers verses lem's and my team didn't even try they were being toxic and annoying the whole time throwing the game. So if you want to feel like u wanna cut ur wrist over and over until ur arm falls off i suggest that you buy csgo and play mm.

    It is a great game, but the administration of it is a disaster. I got banned for not being able to enter a competition on time. Not my fault at all, which made me want to rate this very low and explain this. I dont know why they do this, obviously it was not on purpose since the game is loading, there is nothing I can do about it and I read it happens to a lot of others.

    Игра, к сожалению за последние 4-5 лет стала рассадником: людей, использующие нечестные способы, которые помогают превосходить их над другими людьми,( проще говоря читеры) , токсичных игроков ( преимущественно школьников 9-13 лет ) и многих других низших групп людей. В игре нет нормального античита, а VAC умеет вычислять бесплатные читы (платные не вычисляет, и не хочет вычислять).Игра, к сожалению за последние 4-5 лет стала рассадником: людей, использующие нечестные способы, которые помогают превосходить их над другими людьми,( проще говоря читеры) , токсичных игроков ( преимущественно школьников 9-13 лет ) и многих других низших групп людей. В игре нет нормального античита, а VAC умеет вычислять бесплатные читы (платные не вычисляет, и не хочет вычислять). Главное, игра бесплатная и по техническим требованиям любая "микроволновка" потянет ее, из-за этого порог входа новых игроков низок, и читеры, если их заблокировали, могут дальше играть с читами и им ничего не будет.. Все выше перечисленное может сделать ощущение того, что данная игра очень плоха, но в CS:GO есть много позитивного. Сообщество игроков этой игры довольно общительное, можно найти новых друзей и так далее. Я могу дальше перечислять плюсы этой довольно хорошей игры.
    Подведем итоги: 1) CS:GO не имеет надежного античита, и вследствие этого мы имеем огромный наплыв читеров. к тому же игра бесплатная и вследствие усугубляется ситуация с читерами. 2) Игра, несмотря на огромное количество токсиков, имеет довольно хорошее коммьюнити, и если в противположной команде есть читер, то команда пытается его исключить из соревновательной игры ( работает не всегда, есть люди, которые сознательно не кикают нечестного игрока).
    Весьма хорошо было бы, если бы Valve применяла блокировку по железу такую как hardware indentification BAN (HWID), т.к обойти многие читеры не смогли бы( если они не знают способы обхода данной блокировки)
    Я ставлю 4 балла из 10 данной игре.    … Expand

    CS:GO in 2021 is terrible.The old engine(when Source 2),anti-cheat,that ban skinchanger,but dont ban aim and WH,VEERY bad weapon without !IRON SIGHTS!,servers with 64 tick rate and toxic community.
    Valve dont make anything new,only skins and operations(kinda uselles).This game has nothing to offer me, unlike other games.

    Simbolo di disagio, ossessione, rabbia, depressione, sonno mancato. Non riesco a trovare un attributo positivo a questo titolo, esclusivamente competitivo, una macchina da soldi e basta. Questo non e' un gioco e' un ottimo ed estremamente efficente mercato per skin e microtransazioni. Графика мыльная пиксельная лучше бы в майнкрафте шутер сделали(ах да точно).

    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a great game and a solid upgrade from the original Counter-Strike, that I also played a lot. It is a timeless classic that can be played anytime, any day. The principle is the same as the original game; pick your team, consisting of terrorists and counter-terrorist and battle it out on the    Great Online First Person Shooter with fluent mechanics.

    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a great game and a solid upgrade from the original Counter-Strike, that I also played a lot. It is a timeless classic that can be played anytime, any day.

    The principle is the same as the original game; pick your team, consisting of terrorists and counter-terrorist and battle it out on the map for the most round wins or kills. Place bombs while playing as terrorists and defend the bomb site(s) from the opposing team. Rescue hostages or become a living, moving target. You can choose your weapons at the start of the round and can experiment with them to get a feeling which one(s) suit you best. The round starts and off you go, looking for something to shoot.

    Although the game has a simple principle in which you just shoot people and defuse bombs, you can use tactical approaches and teamwork if you are playing with a group of friends for example. I had matches in which I was defending my little bomb site, and I saw an absurdly well-organized squad of counter-terrorists approaching from different sides, each backing each other up. I got my ass handed to me and I was not even mad, I respected the team play at work at that moment.

    Of course, there are game modes in which you just need to achieve the highest kill count and go guns blazing against everyone, but in the team modes of the game, your approaches and ways of playing are endless.

    The graphics in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive look nice and smooth. It is nothing special compared to games today, but it still holds up, outputs a steady and solid FPS and is overall just perfectly playable. Animations are still a little stiff, but a game like this does not need fluent animations anyway.

    The sound effects are really cool. Gunfire sounds different for every weapon and all give satisfying feedback when fired. Especially the sniper rifles, which release a roaring bang when fired. Grenades and explosions also sound fine and overall, the sound design holds up well to this day.

    I also like the fact that this game is not that heavy and can be played on many older systems without issues. It looks more than fine and plays fluently for almost everyone.

    The controls are fluent and easy to learn. A good mouse is recommended to react quickly when someone start hailing bullets at you (or just one between your eyes), because you only have about 0,5 ms to respond to them.

    The only thing that I do not understand about Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the trading of gun and knife skins. They sell for outrageous prices on the Steam Market and I do simply not get the hype.

    One downside with the game that I frequently had was the stupid idiots in the voice chat that keep trolling the matches, people who got their mic stuck in their ass, screaming children, and other morons that spoil the fun sometimes. Although nothing new, and surely present in other games, with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, I experienced it the most.

    I admit that I really suck at the game sometimes. I just need to git gut, but for me, this is still a learning curve. However, despite this, I still feel that I have a fair chance at getting some frags, I still feel that my deaths are my own fault and that I can do better next time, a feeling that I greatly missed in the Call of Duty series and especially Battlefield.

    In the end, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is an excellent online First Person Shooter that inspired many players to try it, gives everyone a fair chance and offers a rewarding experience.

    This game is the perfect shooter. Its mechanics are amazing and the skill ceiling is huge. This shouid be the golden standard for all FPS games on PC.

Gameplay is mediocre and lacks any originality. Graphics were outdated even when it came out. It also started a stupid trend of buying skins in online games.     The game is well made but is filled with hacker,smurfs, leavers, and griefers that make the game unplayable. You can expect more then Half your matches to have a hacker and the rest to have a leaver or a smurf. Save your money.

    This game used to be amazing, I remember around 2014 ish I had picked up the game and I couldn't put it down. I would play so many matches a day and it was just amazing. I felt like I actually had a chance. I was actually picking people off, I was actually getting kills, I felt like I was apart of something. People were always toxic and I think that is just fine. I spent so much time in this game and it sucks to see that they destroyed something that was literally perfect. Why change something that wasn't at all broken!? It just saddens me so much.     -Community 2/10. Cheaters, unfriendly guys, annoying men, trolling/griefing lads.. You can find every of them. And another thing, you cant tell them CSGO is a bad game. They never approved and start an argue/fighting you. But still good guys there, waiting for a savior that save them from CSGO.
    -Buff/Nerf system. Buffs: Make this gun best. Nerfs: Delete this gun from history.

    It was enjoyable until 2017. Now this game sucks. Too much hackers,strange optimization(sometimes fps can as low as 15),no new content. It started to be boring after 1000 hours.

People seem to just be allowed to stack accounts to cheat on and get away with it for months at a time before valve actually bans them. They seem to have introduced this overwatch system which quite frankly is totally useless because it gives the people on overwatch almost ZERO responsibility in the end outcome as to whether a person gets banned or not. The guns are totally flawed as well. More often than not I see succesful eco rounds because of how easy it is to wreck someone at mid-close range with a pistol vs rifle. I cannot emphasize enough, please do not buy this game. It quite literally is the biggest disgrace of any fps let alone steam game to have ever been released.     It's no Counter Strike Source, but it still has some nice qualities. Graphics improved from its predecessor. At the same time, the movement and aiming feels a little sloppy compared to the crispness of CSS. Great game for the price, but like many other die hard CSS fans, I believe the original is still a better game.

    Good Game but bad Anti-Cheat. Community Based Ban System (Overwatch), banned people for no Reason. Had to buy a 2nd Copy since i got banned for no Reason by Overwatch. But the Game only gets it's Players because of the fcking Crates and Skins. And the fgt eSport People. Kinda sad.

    Play with a bunch of kids who won't say the things they say in chat in real life, Matchmaking with people who lag like crazy, or quit. Guns are crazy inaccurate, anybody that has ever shot a gun would know a bullet goes straight out of a barrel, only game i seen where you can point blank shoot someone and miss, even with a shotgun.     Very good game and gameplay. Cheaters are a VERY big problem currently and that is what made me stop playing. Skins are pretty cool too but some can be very expensive(but cool too). There is also a matchmaking system which needs improvement but is playable.

    I finally gave CS:GO a chance after all these years. WOW does it ever still feel like a mod. It doesn't feel anything remotely close to a AAA game. It just feels so home made in todays market. I played the original CS mod and at that time it was great. It just feels super super dated. idk how people play this. maybe only cause it will play on a Potato rig. When you concentrate on making money, and can't invest enough in fighting cheaters, it just makes it pointless for people to waste so much time on the product.... Why I have to pay monthly at site like faceit, to have a better quality server and better quality cheat-protection? This is not a mmorpg... But the devs don't care, VAC is **** many sites offer hacks to be bought that can't be caught by VAC....

    Cs:go is such a good game. The hit detection is great. The spawns are perfect and those maps. there all so good. The best part is the variety of game modes there is and if your board you can play the community servers which has more content then this game ever had.

CS:Source and CS:GO is too detailed and ingame feel is awkward. If I would want to play realistic shooters I would go for COD, BF.     Great sequel to CSS, Good Graphics, game-play, competitive atmosphere is deeply endowed in what is one of the greatest FPS series of all time, only issue is Valve's incompetency in getting rid of hackers but always in line to create 90 new skins, the hacker base has grown in the past few days and I've seen at least 1 in my games every single day, casual or MM.

    Good game that is updated regularly with new weapon skins and new maps, there has been a major upgrade a while ago that introduces lots of map that are new to CS:GO. It's also famous for competition and watching tournaments.

    Игра была очень хорошей, но тут кокому-то дауну взбрело в голову добавить R8, я играл в нее с удовольствием, а теперь я испытываю даже ужас перед каждой игрой, будут ли эти револьверы у моих тиммейтов или у противоположной тимы. Спасибо Valve за такой апдейт! Даже добавление нового оружия, снаряжения вообще не спасают положения. Рассчитана для глубокого онанирования.     С точки зрения Valve это очень прибыльно, так как в игре присутствует "Патруль" - игроки, наигравшие определённое количество часов и имеющие определённые звания, которые смотрят демку и определяют читер ли игрок или нет. И вот человеческий фактор может сыграть на руку читерам. Если один раз игрока забанили, то он может купить игру на другом аккаунте ещё раз и попробовать играть более скрытно. Таких игроков огромное количество и деньги с продаж соответственно капают в кошелёк Гейба. Именно поэтому никто не делает нормальный VAC и появилось огромное количество читеров.

    Le COD a bien des défauts aussi et est loin d'être irréprochable mais franchement, Counter-Strike (surtout cette édition Global Offensive) appartient à un autre temps, une autre époque. Il a eu le mérite d'inventer et d'innover mais est resté figé. Pour oser sortir un truc pareil, vendre un truc pareil en 2012, il ne faut douter de rien ! ça devrait être gratuit ou sur un modèle free to pay -ça l'était d'ailleurs quand ce n'était qu'un pauvre "mod" déjà bien bugué de partout... qui n'a pas vraiment progressé après toutes ces années ! quelle arnaque !    … Expand

    Csgo is one of the best games i've ever played. But since 2017 i think it has gotten worse and worse with every update valve makes which is kind of sad since this was such an amazing game when i bought it.

    I was a CS fan until this year. I’ve been playing counter strike for over 17 years by now, but since the game went free, it’s impossible to have a fair game. There are so many cheaters (in every competitive game or danger zone). I just can’t have any more fun playing the game. Valve got everything wrong.

Mainly because the game is very slow paced and favors 2 tactics: mobbing and camping down a thin avenue of approach. This combined with bullet spray mechanic when moving makes aggression a weak and stupid tactic. Again, the same, but bullet spray and poor hit detection seemed amplified and I gave it up fairly quickly. Now we have CS:GO. To begin, the game is gorgeous and has more infrastructure to it than any CS before. It DOES have matchmaking which is annoying, but there is also the option to play dedicated so who cares? The bullet spray is either tighter or the netcode better, I dunno which. Overall it's still the same gameplay. The purchase interface is wanky, but most players will bind the relevant options and never use it anyway. If you love CS of any flavor, there is no reason you won't like this one. On the other hand, if you think CS gameplay is stale and want to see it mixed up so that aggression and and precision are rewarded rather than penalized, look elsewhere. This is classic CS with a beautiful engine on top. I think the game is a 4 gameplay wise, but I give it a 7 as most people reading this are probably CS players, and I think it's an accurate representation of what a CS player would award this game.… Expand

    For the amount of time that Counter-Strike has been available it's truly amazing how buggy and sloppy CS:GO is. Game breaking bugs that have been around for years remain unaddressed.

    This game is just terrible. What funny thing can you find there? Battlefield is good for graphic and battle with 64 players, Titanfall is interesting because of dynamic, Team Fortress 2 is great of his atmosphere, but there aren't any interesting in CS:Go

However it feels incomplete with the lack of hostage maps (there is only 2), the gameplay is spot on, competitive, and fresh; while all staying true to the classic Counter-Strike experience. The new gamemodes Demolition and Arms Race are very fun if you are looking for a more fast-paced experience, and theThis is just what the Counter-Strike series has been waiting for. A modernization. However it feels incomplete with the lack of hostage maps (there is only 2), the gameplay is spot on, competitive, and fresh; while all staying true to the classic Counter-Strike experience. The new gamemodes Demolition and Arms Race are very fun if you are looking for a more fast-paced experience, and the new maps are sleek and good looking. This game is also standing evidence that the Source engine is growing and getting better, as the graphics are phenomenal. This game is an upgrade to the entire series in every way. If you look at it like a 15$ reskin then this game could be crowned as one of the worst games released this year. But if you look at it as a Community get together with some good gameplay and graphics, then you will enjoy this game for sure.    … Expand

    I notice the differences when I switch from CS:GO to CS:S. CS:S feels monotonous, looks pixelated, the sounds have no depth, and the teams are always locked in an AK vs M4 war. It was a much needed update.

    I am so happy to say that Counter-Strike has been properly remade! When I am playing it brings back the amazing memories of 1.6 and having my own server, which I will again strive for in CS:GO. I liked Source, but overall the mechanics didn't feel right to me. Valve definitely hit the nail square on the head with the CS:GO engine, very good graphics and models with smooth and fast pacedI am so happy to say that Counter-Strike has been properly remade!     Replay-ability: Much like the predecessors, it provides a good length of fun team based game play and a competitive challenge in comparison to FPS shooters like Call of Duty (which is prey, spray, run around, heal, killstreak reward, kill without skill, repeat). In Counter Strike, you HAVE to put effort in killing even a single player, not too much, but a good amount for the average player and more to take down the more experienced players. This is also worth it's money because would you rather pay about $50 for a game that really doesn't make any true attempt to add anything or $15 for a game that may be small, but is even considerably replayable? This game may not be a huge step up from its preceding titles, but it certainly expands on them, even by a little bit. It uses an old engine but the engine is fairly adaptive and used differently for other games.
    Other personal opinions: It's sad to see that some people give some negative reviews of this game. If we compare both CS:S and CS:GO, you'd more likely stick with GO than S because CS:S was a complete rehash of CS:1.6 with the simplification of using the weapons in game. You can spray players with little effort. In CS:GO it attempts to go back to its routes in order to make the game more competitive and not as simple as CS:S, recoil is higher and requires more control, but still slightly more tolerable than CS:1.6.
    Overall: I believe people should appreciate this game in the least. It tries to bring back good memories of how I used to play Counter Strike in my younger days. Maps are too small, but think about it, that's the principle of Counter Strike games, CQC and medium range engagements. Players would be better off using weapons up close but aren't limited to longer ranges when they've mastered even the weakest of weapons. It is also more realistic that Call of Duty as hipfiring is inexplicably terrible if you just spray all rounds. In Call of Duty, whatever is in your crosshair will be hit and killed if they don't shoot back while in CS, you're going to miss after the first few shots unless you control your aim and fire. Give the game a try, and if you still don't love or like it, at least appreciate it.    … Expand

    The best game you can play. I've played on CSS little. But it's not really same. It's something more. Accuray is diffrent for all guns and it's good too!. I simply LOVE THIS GAME. But you know HOW to play it . It's not Shut'n Run game. COUNTER STRIKE GO :3 , Good spended15$

    This is a great CS,just like the first one.The news weapons are awesome,the molotov is a great idea to put into the game.This is one of the best multiplayer games,COD and BF can't win to CS.

    Ok, guys. The game is better than I expected. Better graphic but the most important thing is the core gameplay is still remain the same. Bought at Steam worth $7! Definite must buy game...:)
