Nov 13, 2012The Game is good! The engine works, the Grphic and sound is good, The new Modi´s and weapons are good and the Gameplay is like CS:S, so nothing is changed! CS:GO is a good game for a lot of players how played CS:S, but i like more the Big-Map-Ego-Shooter, like BF3, with tanks and heli´s!
But it is a good game, you can buy it or not...
How you like... -
May 14, 2022CS:GO is simply the best competitive FPS on the market, and it will be for years to come. It has its obvious flaws, such as cheaters and smurfing. However, at the core of the heart the mechanics, the feeling, the amount of content and its depth makes it an undisputable champion of fun and fullfilment achieving progress and skill.

Nov 21, 2015The hitboxes and the way the weapons shoots now makes the game boring for me. Its more battlefield like now, and I dont like that. Maybe its more realistic, but for me a game should not be realistic to be good. I prefer Cs:s and global offensive is no improvement for me.

Dec 29, 2013A solid upgrade to the Counter-Strike series. GO contains basically just revamped maps, weapons, and UI elements along with a store for you to buy cosmetic items. This isn't a sequel so it doesn't offer much innovation, but it is priced appropriately. The core mechanics still need to be tuned up to bring this series into its next generation.

Dec 11, 2012For those wanting a back-to-basics multiplayer shooter or a more polished version of Counter-Strike: Source, CS:GO might be right up your alley. If you're looking for drastic changes over the previous Counter-Strikes or you enjoy unlocking weapon and perk unlocks, then don't bother.

Feb 13, 2019I think this is a very respectable title if compared to the very influential original CS. It brings the same things to the table: realism, tense competition, and some of the best action I've experienced in a game.
My favourite mode is Competitive, as I think it is the only mode that truly sticks to the essence. -
Sep 17, 2021And the most disgusting part of the whole is when people compliment each other like "nice (head)shot", "nice kill" and the eSport fans just yell and acclaim while watching others killing each other in full trance and euphoria. This is not game anymore, people just can't see it.

Nov 28, 2012Beta-tested for this and now updating my review: At first I didn't like the CS:GO because it seemed like it was trying too hard to be something it's not (COD), but having tried the launch version of the game I see some improvements and gameplay that I think is enjoyable. If you're more of a casual gamer then I can see you enjoying this more than CS:S or 1.6

Nov 12, 2012Never played the original. The game is exceptionally fun, but seems to have a lot of issues. First off, having a high ping seems to make the game exceptionally easier, which is unfair to other players. Next I haven't been able to get into the competitive matchmaking, huge shame there. Finally for a competitive title the leaderboard seems messed up. Not up to Valves typical quality.

Jan 17, 2013Pelo tempo que demorou a lançar... e a falta de inovação... a note deveria ser até menor. Decepcionado, o Source sem mostra bem melhor.

Jan 8, 2015CS: GO is a competitive game, which is both fun and challenging. There are hackers in this game which they know where players are and also when you walk around a corner they shoot you before you can shoot them. If you do plan on playing this game, I recommend using ESEA to play with no hackers. But sadly with ESEA you cant rank up your account due to you would be playing on ESEA's private servers.

Mar 26, 2013Fun game, brings me back to when I was in middle school and would spend time playing this game. Reason I really enjoy it is because ranks, guns, etc do not matter like in COD. It's just fun to kill time with, and people playing really use tactics...which I enjoy

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Oct 29, 2012Brilliant old-school shooter has convinced us that Counter-Strike franchise is in no way to be retired or forgotten. [Oct 2012]
-
CD-ActionOct 24, 2012A fast, demanding shooter with a huge potential for the future. It's basically CS: Source, but the maps are more polished and the game looks better. [11/2012, p.64]

Pelit (Finland)Oct 14, 2012For a non-professional Counter-Striker, Global Offensive is just a cosmetic facelift, with re-run levels. [Sept 2012]
