    There a lot of cheaters in this game!This is good tactical fps game,but the weapon mechanic and map rotation is bad,lootboxes and prime status mechanic,valve just created a service game with a lot of micro transactions.I can recommed it to play with friends but if youre playing alone that game will be horrible.

    Well, I'm a really big fan of FPS games like Rainbow Six, Battlefield series, Titanfall 2 or old Call of Duty games, but... This game... Ugh... This game's community is very f*cking toxic. More toxic than Call of Duty community.     The house of 8 year old kiddos, hackers that leads you to get anger issues, toxic teammates and lost its fun and enjoyment that it gave you 3-4 years ago. Thanks Valve.

    I bought this game for 6 dollars and now its free. Thanks Valve, again.

    CS:GO must be the only game that has the longest and biggest fan-base in the gaming industry since 1999, And it shows that valve can do the most consistent moves in the gaming industry, 10/10 no doubt.

    Great game. Got over 2k hours and still love the game. But the community is very toxic so that might discourage some people but personally i dont mind it

    Counter Strike: Global Offensive is the best team esport to date. With deep levels of strategy and a high skill ceiling, CS:GO brings together casual and competitive gaming into a fantastic shooter.

    This game is probably the best fps around right now, pretty tactical. Toxic players and cheaters exist but just like in every fps. Sure, playing online can be very difficult at the beginning(I am not very good too), but you can still have fun in modes like Arms Race. Excellent game overall.

    Since support says that PC with i7-8700K, 2080Ti and 32Gb of RAM isn't enough to run CS: GO with minimal graphic settings anymore — it's tough to recommend this product to anyone.

У CS:GO есть много плюсов и много минусов, например очень непонятная система полета снарядов, ты выпустил в человека 10, а в него попало 2 и потом он просто тебя убил, что... Следущее, дисбалансный АК-47, лично я считаю это оружие надо вывести из игры, т.к за 1 пулю оно может убить человека вПо сравнению с предыдущами частями CS, CS:GO можно считать шедевром среди своих прошлых версий.     Sometimes it happens that the server does not count hits. For instance:

    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the best Free 2 Play Competitive Shooters I have played in recent years.
    Its clean, non pay2win gun play is easy to learn hard to master, and its maps are high polished, nice looking classics that shaped the way shooters design their levels to this day.
    The games competitive scene is also one of the biggest in the industry which helps to bring    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the best Free 2 Play Competitive Shooters I have played in recent years.
    Its clean, non pay2win gun play is easy to learn hard to master, and its maps are high polished, nice looking classics that shaped the way shooters design their levels to this day.

    The games competitive scene is also one of the biggest in the industry which helps to bring CS:GO's player numbers to astronomical levels. (its not uncommon to see player numbers between 800 and 990 thousand players online at the same time)

    Everyone should be aware that due to the distance and the possibly poor internet connection, Laggs will occur anyway. And in games like CS: GO, Laggs = Cheats because depending on how strong an opponent is, they can not be hit and have clear advantages.

    But only money counts here, as long as players spend money on CS: GO Valve doesn't really care.

    For these reasons I can not recommend the game to anyone who does not like to play with cheaters and camps.

    this is a phenomenal shooter with tons of different gamemodes missions ect the multiplayer is so much fun just shooting and shooting and other stuff ok yeah I don't really have much to say about this game so my last point is that this game is free on steam right now so why wouldn't you get it

    CS:GO Is a good-ish first person shooter that i have played well over 1000 hours on. The community, although not as bad as some games, is extremely toxic. Playing a competitive game is like sitting in the left over reactor in Chernobyl. No matter what rank you are, you will be called trash by some toxic Ukrainian dude with anger issues. It's sad to see a game with such potential getCS:GO Is a good-ish first person shooter that i have played well over 1000 hours on.     I finally gave CS:GO a chance after all these years. WOW does it ever still feel like a mod. It doesn't feel anything remotely close to a AAA game. It just feels so home made in todays market. I played the original CS mod and at that time it was great. It just feels super super dated. idk how people play this. maybe only cause it will play on a Potato rig. There are so many similar gamesI finally gave CS:GO a chance after all these years. WOW does it ever still feel like a mod. It doesn't feel anything remotely close to a AAA game. It just feels so home made in todays market. I played the original CS mod and at that time it was great. It just feels super super dated. idk how people play this. maybe only cause it will play on a Potato rig. There are so many similar games to this that play so much better.     Pros: 1) Nice graphical tweaks to old and tired maps give the game a fresh feel. 2) A nice jump in and play system which makes it easy to get a server without the hassle of having to find one. 3) 2 new game modes off the bat, "Arms Race" is a simple gun game type scenario where as you kill, you get a new weapon

    The noise of your opponents(So turn off music and get decent head phones!) and the way various other aspects of the game work such as random scatter (aim) and grenades do compliment the game VERY WELL. If you know what your doing, you can use grenades to get through impossible situations or out-gun 5 people if your good enough.

    However, random aim can leave you feeling miserable sometimes, even with burst control...

    Generally the options for the guns are good... though it ain't Killing floor... see below

    CSGO is good, as mentioned make no mistake, however you need to take the following caveats into account that can make your game time MISERABLE - not unlike playing L4D2 on PvP. ( I think maybe why they sell prime match making nowadays LOL - but well this is FTP, so give em money for a decent game )

    As the devs have corrected the 2 bottom points which are dev related, I will vote this up - but this still has issues with IZI / EZ noobs as described above. ( did not recommend this from my 500-1000 hours playing)

    I may have recommened this, but the issues below are a big deal and will STILL be a source of MISERY.

    Details of the Woes of Misery:

    -Community of desperate to win players : NO SPORTSMAN-SHIP
    -Who SPAM HIGH END GUNS like: awp/XM1014/sgg58(Aug)(scope)/p90/SCAR CONSTANTLY ( the game does not really BALANCE to prevent it)
    -Who join games in GROUPS,ARTIFICIALLY LOSE for half the session and then brutally destroy the enemy team in the next 6 rounds – making UNFIXABLE BALANCE - this creates a cheesey un fun game and is pure misery. rejoning often takes you back to the same server... (keep leaving and rejoining may fix this)
    -The BAD BALANCE of the guns - money, even in casual doesn't restrict over use of high-end guns...
    -CHEESEY RANDOM AIM that allows people to hit you when they are not aiming at you.
    -Some guns have NO RANGE RESTRICTIONS - So get ready to be killed by an auto shotgun at range - although this emphasises the need for quick aiming (and luck ) to get head-shots (which stresses how game changing random aim becomes)(hence why the XM1014 is such an awful gun - it scatters so badly that you don't need to aim with it - and it fires in semi-auto mode D: )

    Other minor issues
    -Arrangement and treating of less played maps
    putting newer or less played maps with maps like 'Mirage' and suggesting people don't want to play them(*sic). Most people just vote for 'Mirage' all the time... good thing you didn't add a replay map option to most votes :P NOTE : YOu can play these maps and many others on the custom servers - these maps will be rare on official servers as mentioned -which is a shame.

    No longer an issue?:
    revoked point : removal and simplification of maps i.e. Nuke and other maps were recently simplified...
    Why? : The updates are good, and new maps and updates are welcome.

    revoked point : Presence of an account analytical matchmaker system that I cannot get out of
    WHY? this was the case 2 years ago, but I have noticed prime matchmaking is a paid for update. So feel free to spend for this privilege - I'm not sure if it applies any more - so dont hold me to it - please leave comment if I'm wrong! I will correct!    … Expand

I played non-stop competitive CS:Source in regional championships, LANs, and online leagues; and won 4 regional championships with some LAN placings. Here's what I have to say about GO...

    CSGO is awesome, Valve delivered here in the end. When it was released, yeah, it wasn't anything special, just a pretty CS:Source. But now we have amazing gun skins, stickers, awesome knives, intense major tournaments, souvenir packages, bracket prediction challenges, seasonal operations with extra maps and challenges for even more drops, etc.

    It's awesome, it's a great game to be a part of.

    Matchmaking and rated matchmaking based personal ELO rankings is a sweet way to keep competitive games close. It can never be perfect, but back in Source you had to wait in an IRC channel with a looped message playing until someone finally answered your loop and then it took them 20 minutes to get 5 in the server, etc. Basically with CS:Source whether you were trying to ring or you had your team it took between 20-60 minutes to get a scrim. Now it takes about 5. So, the fact that people still complain about it is beyond me.

    Game play wise, each CS as I know them (1.6, Source, GO) has been different beasts in terms of mechanics and recoil control. Lots of little things that made or broke you as a player in these games, but recoil control is one of the biggest. You often hear people scream “deathmatch deathmatch deathmatch, that's the only way to get better”. Well, quick point, how can you DM to practice when you don't know what your practicing? Best thing to do to understand the recoil patterns is load an offline game, kick the bots, and shoot at walls. Seriously. Shoot and spray at walls with various guns at various ranges with various movement patterns, that's the best way to understand how to control and use various guns. You need to understand each guns grouping patterns first before you can practice controlling them!

    About the community, yes, the flamers and trolls are alive and well. But here's the thing, I've been around CS a long time, I've won 4 regional championships with CS:Source, and really it never bothered me that sometimes the flamers are all you hear. Here's why. Once you play enough games (competitive or otherwise) you'll hear the same kind of person, it'll sound like this.. “you guys suck, why are you even playing this game?” or something similar if they are beating you. It sounds like this, “you're such a hacker, it's so obvious” when you beat them. The fact that people are so binary in their mentality amuses me personally, so I carry that over to CS flamers as well. Some people like to pretend they are perfect at the game, and everyone else around them is inferior, yet if you beat them you must be a hacker. It just sounds so stupid to even talk about it but seriously this is how a lot of people are about the game. Just don't let it get to you, there's no point. Don't even engage. And you wont have many problems.

    It's not the easiest game to pick up right off the bat. “Spray at feet, get headshot” is a notorious saying from outsiders about CS games, because CS can be amazingly random sometimes. And the round-by-round economy, buying guns and items every round, and recoil patterns make it a steep learning curve. But if you understand the groupings (I said how to above), read guides about strategy (like economy management, game flow), and just get in there and start playing you will see why people just can't stop playing this game!

    Counter-Strike was the world's original eSport. After the Championship Gaming Series went down the CS1.6 and CS:Source attention did as well, games like StarCraft and DOTA took to the forefront of competitive eSports soon after. But with the cases, skins, and major tournaments Valve and the CS community have turned CS:GO back into one of the world's premiere eSports and there's many, many reasons why it's succeeding. Let's have a look at game's gameplay. Such a simple and uncomplicated idea developed dozens of years ago became an obsession for thousands. This game series would be immortal if developers had more attention and enthusiasm. But the don't. Instead of making a great anti-cheat, releasing regular updates and adequate cybersport supporting (making Internationals, etc.), Valve became passive in the game's life. And now this game is full of hackers and bugs and CS:GO majors are very unimpressive in comparison with Dota 2.

    Good game, but there are always wallhackers who ruins the game in Matchmaking and all servers. You can spectate and see the players who have bs k/d keep looking at the wall and pretend to play like honest persons. You can report the players but how long before they get permanent ban?

    CS:GO, as any sane person calls it, is one of the better FPS games out there, especially when playing in a coordinated team. There's just so much depth to it with special recoil patterns, grenade throw spots that, and levels of strategy that you simply don't see in other multiplayer games, not even Battlefield.     If you played the old counter-strike games you will not see many changes in the gameplay but improved graphics and a bit of recoil changes for shure.
    The maps are very well made and are in my opinion one of the best for a multiplayer game. They update the game and they add new content which is very nice.

    Que dire de ce jeu, à part que je viens de me prendre un cooldown d'une semaine car "je me suis trop fait kick" alors que ce sont seulement des kicks abusifs ? Ah si je sais, que le support vous dit juste qu'il s'en bat les couilles et qu'il vous pisse à la raie.

    Un bon zéro vu que du coup je n'ai jamais accès au contenu principal du jeu.

    I was a CS fan until this year. I’ve been playing counter strike for over 17 years by now, but since the game went free, it’s impossible to have a fair game. There are so many cheaters (in every competitive game or danger zone). I just can’t have any more fun playing the game. Valve got everything wrong.

    Great competitive fps, nothing like it. Story, visuals, ect does not matter for this type of game. Amazing game, if you don't mind losing 1000+ hours of your life. The only real downside is that this game is simply not fun for new players. Your first 50 hours will not be fun, and there is a lot to learn before you have any idea what you are doing.

The brutal unforgiving nature of CS:GO unfortunately just makes the entire community a toxic crater of cancer, which makes it only really fun to play with a 5-man.

    Not have good update a lot of time, they can update only **** skins. A good anti-cheat only on paid servers, then why create your own servers where there are neither admins nor normal anti-cheat. The game is still not able to use a lot of thread processor cores.

    I played this game for about 4k hours. Got global rank on MM. After i got global, i stopped playing this game but these days i am just back to it. As i can easly say, everyone is cheating. They made this game as free. You can be prime easly...Every two or three matches, you'll get a cheater for sure. At 2019, there's no point on playing this game.

    Valve's careful overwatch and an active and dedicated community brought much to Counter Strike, clearly it is the Counter Strike game with the best sound, best graphics and most advanced gameplay we've ever had. The biggest issues conceived are caused by player mischief and some features we've grown to love in the past such as spray painting are integrated, however not as free anymore.

    Good gameplay and nice, "light" engine that has been messed up with latest updates. Terrible hacking problem. Valve says that hit boxes are ok but when they are not in your body for most of the time. Laggy Eu servers and wh lag refuses bullets to go where you are shooting. Most of the time first bullet drops right infront of you.

    A hard game to get into because of toxic community, I only play this against AI because I am not that good at it (Played CS:Source casually/quit PC gaming a while) and then they went free to play after I bought it, bad luck on my part there.

    The loot box stuff is garbage and has influenced the industry to ruin their games.

    Back in 2015, (i think) i purchased CS:GO, the gameplay was great, but the community is just awful. i don't understand how people can survive with just a toxic community like CS:GO. it's full of racist, mean, and people who just want to make you angry. CS:S, on the other hand, has somewhat [of] a mix of "Nice & Mean" "fanbase".

    I think this is a very respectable title if compared to the very influential original CS. It brings the same things to the table: realism, tense competition, and some of the best action I've experienced in a game.
    My favourite mode is Competitive, as I think it is the only mode that truly sticks to the essence.
