    Still the best esport title, but the developers simply do not care about the community. Cheaters and hackers are rampant, especially in non prime lobbies. Easy to learn, excruciatingly difficult to master, a great game for tryhards if you don't mind using third party services like faceit

    A good trust factor, I start the game - only cheaters come across.
    Graphics, physics, everything is fine.
    But.. There is no anti-cheat at all.

    The maps are well designed, the guns don't really get all that boring, the graphics are quite good, and the game is genuinely competitive. But, the cheaters in this game are awful, and abundant, the utilility is quite boring, the games are incredibly redundant, and it gets very tilting for someone like me.     This game is viral. So popular, I decided to give it a try. I ended up playing for 165 hours. It is the kind of game you tell yourself that you're done playing and end up coming back to it repeatedly. Since it is a online game, it certainly helps that it is so popular. Since it is a online game, it certainly helps that it is so popular. That makes the ways to play the game infinite, as your opponents are someone completely new. The graphics are decent in this game, and the mechanics are good. The game never got boring. Also, there are some highly skilled gamers in this online community. Sometimes it is unbelievable to how dedicated the gamers are to this game, some spending upwards to 2,000+ hours on it. You will find committed gamers playing this game, and yes, there is much competition playing this game!

    The competitive nature of the game was a thorn in my side. This thorn is personal, but it does affect my feelings about this game. See, winning is very important to all that play this game. Many people are playing, so the competitive nature is given a spotlight. I just could not match against anyone in this game. It was not that I did not play long enough, I mean 165 hours is a long time to me. Raised on 007 Nintendo shooters in late 1990's, I know I am a competent FPS gamer. I have come to terms with a tremendous ping rate, since I live on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean: Hawaii. Hawaii has the highest ping of any US state (2022 data) because of its physical distance from the Main Land. I do not see this changing anytime soon, because you cannot bring the islands closer to the Main Land. This CS:GO game is all about accuracy; you have to align a target with a player by using the mouse. However, if you live in a state with high ping, you will not beat the other guy with 20 ms. It will not happen, I feel, regardless of my skill level. I was about 80 ms and it just was too slow to enjoy this highly precise game. I played the game with a shotgun, something where precision was not needed. However, even then, one has to react when turning corners. A Hawaii ping will not work with this game at all, leaving me with a bad feeling. If I lived somewhere with a 10 - 20 ms ping, I am sure this game would be a green eight or nine. Personally, I have to review it as a 5 - because the game relies far too much on ping to be successful. Yes, I am sure if I played the game for 2000 or even 1000 hours I would be good enough to hold my own... but I just didn't see the benefit to that as I was pretty crushed. If you generally have a high ping when playing video games, do yourself a favor and do not play this game. Everything will rely on that low ping, so do not waste your time.    … Expand

    need better servers and a better anti cheat. pls fix the game valve. It is unplayable in the current state with hackers in every match. If the servers and the anti cheat are good , this game will be the best fps game ever

    This is the most clever game ever. It's based on an old concept of two teams competing over territory and shooting each other. But the game has evolved a lot farther. Nowadays CSGO is a religion, a community, a family, a sport. Something most games never get to become.

    CS:GO is simply the best competitive FPS on the market, and it will be for years to come. It has its obvious flaws, such as cheaters and smurfing. However, at the core of the heart the mechanics, the feeling, the amount of content and its depth makes it an undisputable champion of fun and fullfilment achieving progress and skill.

    Жалко, что с каждым обновлением, игру всё больше убивают, раньше были нормальные обновления, но сейчас... Всё это началось с 7 декабря 2018 года, тогда появилось очень много читеров, и задаётся такой вопрос, зачем я это покупал? Зачем много платить за прайм-статус, если раньше игра была платной, и если ты раньше купил игру, то сейчас можешь играть на прайм-статусе, почти без читеров, а ктоЖалко, что с каждым обновлением, игру всё больше убивают, раньше были нормальные обновления, но сейчас... Всё это началось с 7 декабря 2018 года, тогда появилось очень много читеров, и задаётся такой вопрос, зачем я это покупал? Зачем много платить за прайм-статус, если раньше игра была платной, и если ты раньше купил игру, то сейчас можешь играть на прайм-статусе, почти без читеров, а кто взял её бесплатно, и не дошёл до 20 уровня, тем крупно не повезло, они потели чтоб получить прайм статус, но 4 июня 2021 игру очень ударило током, потому что valve сделали чтоб игроки не могли получть уровень, и ещё эти долбанные обновления, которые кушают мои 30 фпс-сика… Expand

    Takes the classic counter-strike formula and **** all over it.
    Piss poor servers with aprox 60 ticks per second meaning most of your shots and actions are not even received by server let alone other players.

    Only good thing is competetive matchmaking but its not worth playing when the performance IS THIS BAD.

    Just stick to the older ones.

    Developers of this game encourage people to cheat and never ban anyone because if they were to ban every cheater they would have to ban 99 percent of "pros" and streamers and it would show the ugly truth about it - that this game was made by cheaters for cheaters and to make money for both, the devs and their "pros" with their "pro tournaments" where they literally tell them to hack so the "show" can be more spectacular.
    They all make a sh1t-tons of money which they all pump into each other's businesses. "We will promote you as the best player and a super-duper pro and you will just keep playing and promote our products/websites. You can hack, but not so blatantly so the most of the people won't see. The majority of people watching you are unexperienced players, just little ret.rds so they will really believe you can actually play like this lol."
    So this game was made by cheaters for cheaters and no cheater is ever banned.

    But dont forget that you will be banned for typing in the chat: "cheating idiot". Yes, they ban for calling others cheaters. You can't point out that someone is cheating even though there are hundreds of thousands of those. NO BAN FOR EVEN ONE OF THEM, SORRY! WE MADE THIS GAME FOR SUCH LOSERS AND SO DEAL WITH IT OR GET BANNED. It's interesting how you will be banned for calling someone a cheater or an idiot, but the same IDIOTS who make this game literally made the models in this game shout "CVNTS!" or "THREE IDIOTS LEFT!".

    Where is ANY logic here?
    A few words about the bots in this game. They are horrible, because those who make this game are horrible developers. Bots were used to be very slow and re......ded so they literally made them in such way that the most blatant cheaters like shroud or other "pro" player would be very proud of - movement of a ret4rd, but able to kill you within 0.0000002 milliseconds after spotting you. BRAVO, thats they way everyone should "develop". When seeing 2 children playing and shooting each other with water guns give the worse one a real gun so he can perform "better"...

    I like this game, the whole idea behind it is great. But the problem is that this thing is not a game anymore. Its a fake show with fake "pro players" who cheat and "casual cheaters" playing "for fun". More like THEIR FUN which is to make everyone else who really has some skills and is really dedicated to this angry and sad by what they are doing.
    It would be much more fair if the developers just admitted to what they are doing (supporting cheating) and officially state that they dont ban cheating and dont condemn it. Everyone can cheat = everyone is happy. Dont say some stupid sh.. like you cant ban every cheater. Since this game went free you aren't banning anyone and there is a sh1t-ton of new cheaters every single day.
    If you treat people who play this game seriously do this:

    1. Make it available only for people with an ID (a looooooot of "players" would have to be banned and way less cheaters would exist in this game instantly. No fake accounts too.)
    2. Make it buyable and never again free
    3. Make bots just a little more realistic (Im not a game developer but I think its very easy. Headshot in 0.02 milliseconds? Come on... you are either trolls or you are the worst developers Ive ever seen)

    Almost a perfect Counter-Strike. Valve did a good job on maintaining the game and introducing new maps, seasons, and various interesting updates.

    A great competitive game, spent thousands of hours on it.

    After hundreds of hours of gameplay, I can say that this version of Counter Strike is the best ever!
    Interesting market system, easy gameplay, great graphics and lots of maps. The main negative point is the amount of players who try to cheat the game using bots with automatic aim or tool to see through walls.

    I'm not a big fan of shooters, and this one isn't the exception.

    Graphics are outdated compared to other games at the time, there are a ton of hackers and normal matches are a mess. I'm not giving less score because I haven't played too much, but it could probably be worse.

    В эту игру играют только потому что она внучка cs1.6 собственно поэтому на этой серии игр выросло не одно поколение. Про комьюнити - в данную игру играют исключительно те кто ебали ваших матерей отцов и остальных членов семьи. Сие    Если вы играете в эту игру и любите её, то не читайте этот обзор.

Именно поэтому каждый кто не попадает по оппоненту винит всёи вся.(Баллистика кстати уёбская(желаю тому кто её создал чтоб он так в телку вставлял)). Графика мыльная пиксельная лучше бы в майнкрафте шутер сделали(ах да точно).

С этого момента ювелирная стрельба и взрослый контингент игроков уходит на второй план, получите и распишитесь - очередной денежный конвейер с кучей читеров и токсичным комьюнити.КС ГО - одна из главных ошибок которую допустила компанией ВАЛВ.     CS is still fun but with all the micro-transactions and colourful addons I just don't feel like playing it. It become something different. It's still a great game, I just don't find it enjoable anymore. Maybe I'm simply old.

    От старого движка source который запустит почти любой слабый компьютер и микро-фризы на мощном компьютере.
    Игра была платной тогда я с ней и познакомился в 2018 году. Что я вам скажу. Если хотите поиграть классический командный шутер со скинами на которых можно заработать то вам сюда.    КС:ГО как же много радости и боли в этой игре.
    От старого движка source который запустит почти любой слабый компьютер и микро-фризы на мощном компьютере.

    There's better FPS games out there I will admit but this game is still good none the less. Better than Valorant don't get me wrong Valorant is a good game but this is just better. Though the game now requires you to have prime for actual competitive matchmaking though it was a good decision because since then I've only met 2 cheaters total.

    i have 1700hrs on csgo now and the community is retarded, solo queue is unplayable even on faceit, game is made on old af engine so it has bad optimalization and minor bugs but i like this game and will play it if i have some free time yea and i forget, cheaters everywhere on classic matchmaking and smurfs in lower levels on faceit

    The definition of an "average fps shooter". Nothing more, nothing less. I like the against bots mode for offline but that is it. It's meh overall.

    An extremely enjoyable game, and it is easy to tell that leaps and bounds were made from Source. Much of the game is based on pure honing of skill, which seems to be a lost art in many shooting games nowadays. I would rate it higher, but for as good of a game it is, the anti-cheat system needs a lot of work, especially with the game being free now.

    A pretty good game for relaxing or getting satisfied until you're good at it. it can be rough at times but definitely worth a try if you have the time.

    Not a bad game, but outdated a couple of years after its release. Boring gameplay with a rather meager selection of tactics and outdated shooting mechanics. I see no reason to play the game if there are more advanced competitors.

    And the most disgusting part of the whole is when people compliment each other like "nice (head)shot", "nice kill" and the eSport fans just yell and acclaim while watching others killing each other in full trance and euphoria. This is not game anymore, people just can't see it.

    Handlung:
    In CS:GO spielt man entweder Terroristen oder Anti Terroristen. Es gibt mehrere Spielmodi wie z.B. Wettkampf, Gelegenheitsspiel, Deathmatch, Wettrüsten und auch ein Battleroyale.
    Im Wettkampf spielt man 5vs5, mind. 16 bis maximal 30 Runden. Die Antiterroristen versuchen entweder eine Geisel zu befreien oder eine Bombe zu entschärfen. Als Terrorist muss man entweder die Bombe platzieren oder das komplette Antiterroristen Team eliminieren. Wer das Spiel zu häufig abbricht, kann man permanent gebannt werden, vorher bekommt man Zeitstrafen zwischen Stunden und Wochen. Das Rangsystem ist gut ausgeglichen. Es gibt Silber 1- Global Elite.
    Im Gelegenheitsspiel ist man nicht gebunden das komplette Match zu spielen, sondern kann jede Runde einfach raus.
    Im Deathmatch muss man in 10 Minuten versuchen die meisten Spieler zu eliminieren. Alle Waffen sind frei und für speziell Ausgewählte Waffen bekommt man Bonuspunkte.
    Im Wettrüsten erhält man eine neue Waffe je öfter man eine andere Person eliminiert. Die letzte Waffe ist das goldene Messer.
    Den Battleroyale Modus hab ich nie ausprobiert, sodass ich nichts dazu sagen kann.

    Gameplay(Tastatur und Maus):
    Das Gameplay holt einen leicht bis schwer ab. Jede Waffe hat ein eigenes Schussmuster und muss individuell geübt werden. Die Spielercharaktere sind verschieden und es gibt auch weibliche Charaktere. Je nachdem wo man auf die Person schießt, fügt man mehr oder weniger Schaden zu. Jede Runde oder für jede Eliminierung bekommt man Geld. Mit dem Geld kann man sich bessere Waffen, ein Kevlar Set oder ein Entschärfungskit kaufen. Das HUD zeigt einem das an was man sehen will und kann individuell angepasst werden. Zum Beispiel die Farbe, Größe und Ort der Anzeigen kann man anpassen. Das Fadenkreuz kann komplett angepasst werden.
    Das kaufen der oben genannten Sachen ist schnell zu verstehen, jedoch sollte man auf sein Geld achten und nicht jede Runde alles ausgeben.
    Bugs oder Probleme tauchen selten auf und werden eigentlich recht schnell gefixt.
    Das wichtigste jedoch ist ein funktionierendes Mikrofon zur Kommunikation mit dem Team.
    Chat Funktion ist auch vorhanden.

    Sound:
    Die Sounds sind von Waffe zu Waffe unterschiedlich. Die verschiedenen Granaten haben auch einen eigenen Sound. Sollte die Bombe Platziert sein, piep diese schneller umso länger sie liegt. In den letzten 10 Sekunden kann man einen Sound einschalten. Als MVP kann man sich nach einer Runde ein Soundkit aktivieren was einen bestimmten Sound abspielt, wenn man MVP wird.

    Grafik:
    Die Grafik ist veraltet (von 2012) und wurde nur dezent in den Jahren verändert. Waffen, Spielercharaktere und Maps sind individuell und passen zusammen. Auch die rumlaufenden Hühner werden je nach Event(Neujahr, CS:GO Geburtstag) verändert(wollte ich mal erwähnen)

    Fazit:
    CS:GO macht im Wettkampf Spaß, sofern man mit 5 Freunden spielt. Die Community ist sehr toxisch und nervig. Cheater sind auch an der Tagesordnung. Ohne Mikrofon würde ich das Spiel nicht spielen, da Informationen sehr wichtig sind. Gegner würde ich immer Stummschalten. Die verschiedenen Schussmuster sind eventuell für manche eine nervige Angelegenheit.
    Würde ich CS:GO empfehlen? JEIN! Als vollständiges Team ja ansonsten eher nicht.
    100% Run ist leider nicht mehr Möglich und würde ich auch generell nicht machen.    … Expand

    CSGO is the king of competitive fps for reason. Its tight gameplay, balancing, great maps, great communities servers and content is why this game is still one of the most played games even after 9 years since launch.

    The best game of my live. Maybe it's not too good but it gets points with the nostalgia of being the first one I played online. Obviously I mean cs 1.6 but cs go is an update of that game.

    Actually playing only cs go.
